In August the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) are meeting. This trading partnership has at least two items on the agenda -- supposedly forty-one countries are looking to join the BRICS league. And Russia appears to be saying that a gold backed currency will be introduced for trading. If this proves true, it could impact the use of the US dollar as a reserve currency in a major way.
