For your safety. Big pharma, big banks, income tax, VAT, the Illuminati elite, cultural Marxism, critical theory.
[00:00:14] Unknown:
You are nothing. You are nothing to me. You're a useless fucking cunt. You are nothing to me. I don't ever wanna
[00:00:43] Unknown:
Hollywood pedophiles.
[00:00:45] Unknown:
I wish you would die. It makes me violently angry when I see you alive. The fatal reserve. You're a fucking mistake. You're an embarrassment, mate. You think you're funny and you're clever, but you're just a disgrace. I wanna hit you with the force. I've a The United Nations. And I wish you would die. It makes me violently angry when I see you alive. You're a fucking mistake. You're an embarrassment buyer. You think you're funny, ain't you clever, but you're just at this point.
[00:02:04] Unknown:
Property tax, vehicle tax, death tax, capital gains tax, fuel tax, council tax. I hate you,
[00:02:19] Unknown:
and I wish you would
[00:02:37] Unknown:
Silent weasel tacks inflating away the value of your capped currency.
[00:02:44] Unknown:
And I wish you will
[00:02:48] Unknown:
die. Stormtrooper is just doing a fun job. Anyone who says just do it my
[00:03:28] Unknown:
job.
[00:03:44] Unknown:
Big Brother, Robot Dogs, Intelligence Agency Run Crypto Exchanges, fluoride, corporate media, big tech, the military industrial complex, the World Economic Forum, Masonic Hand Shakes, Bill Gates, the current thing.
[00:04:22] Unknown:
For the greater good, the science, trust the experts. Have you got a license for that? Gun ban. Fun ban. If Gates gets its way, maybe even a sun ban.
[00:04:43] Unknown:
We don't hate you ungovernable misfits. We love you. We love you so much that we're doing a 2024 wrap up show with me in studio as always, the most ungovernable, the most misfit, Max bit by bit. Hello, my friend.
[00:05:01] Unknown:
I love you. I love you too. I've missed you. You've been,
[00:05:06] Unknown:
gone for so long. I know. Here comes the guilt trips. No. It's been for a good reason, but I have missed you. Well, I've missed you too. I've missed all the Ungovitable Misfits, the Mesh Tadelians, the Pleb minor mafia, all the people that I interact with on the Twitters. I apologize, but I'm working towards bigger things. 2025 is gonna be even much bigger year for me personally than 2024 was. But in 2024, you launched Ungovernable Misfits Misfits Misfits Misfits as a brand. And Mhmm. That song that we play, the extended version, usually on our the mesh Diddell show, we play that as an intro, and then I normally cut it off when I say Hollywood pedophiles fade out.
[00:05:50] Unknown:
That's your favorite bit? The Hollywood pedophiles.
[00:05:54] Unknown:
Mhmm. Yeah. The Hollywood pedophiles are really getting their comeuppance in 2024.
[00:05:59] Unknown:
We'll see. We predicted that one. We've predicted a lot of things. We've been right about so much. It's ridiculous. It is ridiculous. It'd be nice to see some lists.
[00:06:09] Unknown:
A list of of of what we're right about. I what I did do here is write down all the things that we bitched about.
[00:06:16] Unknown:
Long list.
[00:06:17] Unknown:
Big pharma. So I think we're on the road towards attacking and bringing down big pharma. Mhmm. Maybe this RFK Jr. I am gonna bring down big pharma. I'm gonna do other prescribing medications. Lesions. He
[00:06:34] Unknown:
sounds like I did last week. Are you,
[00:06:36] Unknown:
big banks? I don't think we're gonna do that one. Income tax, value added tax. No. They're probably not going anywhere. The Illuminati Elite. And I think we're bringing them down. Cultural Marxism, maybe. Mhmm. Maybe a little bit. Yeah. And are you familiar with this term, DEI, diversity, equity and inclusion? Yeah. I love it. It's how I live my life. I'm a big fan. Big fan. Yeah. That's supposed to be, being phased out as a lot of companies are realizing that's a giant waste of money and time. Mhmm. Critical theory, pretty much the same thing. Hollywood pedophiles, Diddy scandal. Although he's low level in the whole Hollywood pedophile ring. Epstein and Diddy? Epstein. Yeah. Did he do it? Yeah. He did. He diddled. Did he did diddle? He did. How's that for a tongue twister? Can even do it without lube. Fred Reserve. Maybe.
[00:07:24] Unknown:
Just mine? Yeah. Council tax. Property tax Not doing anywhere. Vehicle tax, death tax, tax rant. Mate, I have a major issue with it. In this house, I think almost every day, me and my missus would go off on a rant about tax, about some type of tax through some product or some way of them bleeding us. It's like bloodletting, a constant bloodletting, dictated in this house. Very good.
[00:07:50] Unknown:
Proper ungovernable house. Sure. Yeah. World Health Organization. Yeah. I don't think that's going anywhere. No. I don't think so either. Silent weasel tax inflating the value of your cucked currency. This one's my favorite. Stormtrooper is just doing my job. They're the ones I hate the most. I'm gonna get my pension. There's so many of those. Big Brother. That's hard to define. Robot dogs. I think they're more prevalent now. Definitely.
[00:08:17] Unknown:
More breeds. All breeds of robot dogs from toy to large.
[00:08:21] Unknown:
The working breed, intelligence agency run crypto exchanges. More. We think we have more. Okay. Yeah. We haven't been able to make a dent in that one. Nope. Fluoride. I've made a dent because I ordered for the kids fluoride free organic
[00:08:37] Unknown:
special wanky strawberry flavored toothpaste. Very well. So we've got that and I also ordered it for me and my missus as well. So we're defluoriding
[00:08:46] Unknown:
in that sense but not Very good. We haven't we haven't cracked the water yet. So Well, that's there's there's talk here now, and that's a RFK Jr thing again. I forgot to get the water. I don't know water. Corporate media, big tech, the military industrial complex, the World Economic Forum. Yeah. I don't think we made a dent there. Nope. How about this one? Masonic handshakes. Can we get rid of that one?
[00:09:09] Unknown:
I don't even know what one is. I wouldn't know if I was having a masonic handshake. Oh, they do. If I was doing one, I wouldn't know. Yeah. Like depending on your level within the organization, you hold your hand a certain way. No. What they do when you do a handshake Tickle on the palm. That's it. They tickle. They tickle your palm. Like, woah. Woah, pal. What the fuck's going on there? Yeah. You're trying to make me your boy bride? But then if you're one as well, you interlock fingers and you like hold fingers while you shake. Yeah. So why are you acting like you didn't know about the masonic handshakes? Well, because you don't want everyone to know you are 1, do you? Well, you just gave it away. Oh, fuck. I've let it out.
[00:09:45] Unknown:
I'll cut that bit. The current thing. We'll we'll never get over the current thing. No. For the greater good.
[00:09:52] Unknown:
Maybe a bit less. Maybe we've had a little dent again. Like, there's a bit less wokey, bullshitty, freedom taking, cuntiness
[00:10:02] Unknown:
slightly. How about trust the science? Oh, no. That's not going anywhere. I don't know. I think there's a huge dent in it. Almost too deep of a dent for when real science comes out, people are just instantly skeptical of it. Yeah. Maybe. I think that's just our little bubble though. I don't know. Trust the experts. Yeah. That's got a dent. Yep. That's got a huge dent. They they've lost it all.
[00:10:26] Unknown:
That is ramping up here as always. Had to register my spoons yesterday. Have you got a licence for that?
[00:10:33] Unknown:
Mhmm. I think the key to that is to play extremely dumb and, like, overly nice. I was watching a video yesterday of some guys doing magnet fishing. Do you know do you know what this is? Just throw a big magnet in the water and troll it back and see what See what you find. Ghost guns you pick up. Mhmm. And these guys were magnet fishing. And this park ranger comes to them and says, hey. I'm pretty sure you can't magnet fish, but I have absolutely no idea. So I'm just gonna shut it down right now. And the guys were overly nice, and they just played dumb, and I walked off. Yeah. I think that's the solution to have you get a license for that. Mhmm. Oh, I don't know. Well, we'll see you later. And finally, if Gates gets his way, maybe even a sun band. Yeah.
Sun band. No more suntan. Hey. I've I've been sunning my balls and taint more than ever in 2024. Well done. Thanks a lot. Thank you very much. Well, that's it. That's how we started off the year. This is how we're ending the year, and I think we've chucked a lot of these things up as victories. We're winning. Do you want me to go? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, John. We're winning. I was hoping for, you know, the we're winning. Let's start the show off on a positive note. Well, in studio today, not only do we have the big boss man, the most ungovernable misfit, Max, bit by bit. Did we discuss this before? Are you still Max bit by bit? I still don't know, mate. Both of you just call me cunt. So I like
[00:11:56] Unknown:
maybe I'll rebrand.
[00:11:58] Unknown:
Well, not only do we have you in studio, Max, but we also have our producer, podcasting 2.0 pioneer, Jordan, AKA Lincoln Park rules in our illustrious Ungovertible Misfits recording studio, my friend. RIP, Chester. Who the hell's that? Chester Bennington. Lincoln Park. Oh,
[00:12:17] Unknown:
okay.
[00:12:20] Unknown:
Sure. Well, I was one step closer to the edge. Oh, very nice. Very nice. And now now I have been broken. Yeah. But in the end, it doesn't even matter, man. So This is just somewhere he belongs. Wow. What a way to wrap it up. You're already a pro. Jordan, you've taken a a little rinky dink, shitty podcast
[00:12:39] Unknown:
named Bit by Bit and turned it into a media empire. Stop it. Ungovernable misfits, a pioneer in podcasting 2.0. How did you do it? I guess it's kind of been, like, a 1 year anniversary for all of us. Like, I kinda remember last year, like, just kinda talking over Telegram there about the plans for 2024. PMM wasn't even a thing then. It was just kind of an idea John had, and then it happened. And then you kinda look through all the episodes, and you're like, wow. That is a lot. Like, how many did you say, John, that we did? I said, like, 50? Yeah.
[00:13:12] Unknown:
56 episodes.
[00:13:14] Unknown:
56.
[00:13:15] Unknown:
It's been a wild ride. And you could also just see, like, the change from the album art and the chapters, and it seems like it kinda just changes over the year as well, even how we format the titles. It's become quite professional, one would say. Yeah. It's definitely got that element to it for sure. I remember being sat on holiday thinking about actually stopping the show because of a load of personal stuff that was going on in life, and then getting message from Jordan just being like, hello, you cunt. I know that this podcast is okay, but it could be great. Do you want some help? And I was like, listen, I haven't got any money. I haven't got any time. Like, if, you know, there's not nothing I can do. Tell he's like, no. No. I'll just, I'll jump on board. I've got some ideas and things that we could do. And from there, it's just grown and become more professional.
Having the chapters and artwork and moving across to Pod Home and all the changes that have been made and and lots of more ideas that we have sort of bubbling away that we're gonna attack next year as well. So it's been incredible to get you on board, mate, and, despite the fucking annoying phone calls and the whinging and moaning and the amount of tech support that I have to give you, it is much appreciated. Oh, I call bullshit there. We'll have to call Jordan. I don't know how to do that. Call Jordan. It's easy to deal with you on a phone call, but, being in your arena here, like, I feel helpless. You're like a little mouse with 2 lions.
[00:14:38] Unknown:
Yeah. Exactly. That's that is exactly how it feels. We're gonna bat you around. But, yeah, I think Pod home was the biggest game changer. Yeah. Just getting over there and just gave us so many tools right out of the box. Right? And the stuff that Barry has still to come out through the pipeline there is gonna help us even more. It's just so cool, like, especially from an archival standpoint. The way that Barry packages every episode up. So the images are in the file. The chapters are in the file. You know, years from now, you could literally parse it all out from a download, and everything that we've made is, like, in there. Whereas, you know, with some podcasts, the images are over here, and they're, like, linked. And then so everything kinda still looks the same as ours does. Everything that we have is, like, in every file. So it's cool. It's like a little package.
[00:15:24] Unknown:
It's like a little diary. Yeah. It is. I've never written a diary, but I feel like that's kind of what Ungovmall Misfits and and previously bit by bit kind of has been. It's like me writing a diary with my mates sort of about the world and things that are going on and, like, rather than having to write any memoirs, if the kids are like, oh, what happened in your life, daddy? Well, listen, cunts. It's already on there. Just fucking go through that. Just wanna let you know dad curses a lot more than you think I do.
[00:15:52] Unknown:
If you align yourself with any particular group, be it, I'm not gonna name out any groups, but if you associate yourself with a group, more than likely, we're going to insult that group. Yes. Somebody made a comment the other day on Twitter. It's like, so you know there are gay people that listen to your show? Well, yeah. So Yeah. We hope you're having fun listening. Hope you're having a gay old time. If if you think we're going to spare anyone, you're dead wrong. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. That is true. Jordan, podcasting 2.0, Pod Home Integration, you being the head ungovernable misfit Wrangler, we're all paramount in creating the show that we have today. But to me, the largest thing was Max getting back from vacation where he was doing his last run as a sugar baby, his last mistress, his last madam, boiling up my feet. He had to say goodbye to that past life, come home back to dreary old England and say, okay. I've now dedicated my life to Ungovernable Misfits. That's been the biggest one. Mhmm. And here I thought everything was going to be like, Max is going to create more art. He's gonna do more music. He's gonna do more clips. No. He's just spend a lot more time editing.
[00:17:06] Unknown:
This didn't spare him from the editing booth. It did not. We're actually cranking out more shows, I feel, to a higher quality. At least I'm going to do some art. I'm doing some,
[00:17:15] Unknown:
chapter art, episode art stuff. Even if it is imputer stuff, it's Mhmm. It's still something. I'm kind of enjoying doing that. Yeah. It gives us a a little bit of an edge on podcasting 2 point o for those that pay attention to the chapter art. Yes. So us 3. I think there are other people. Hopefully, in this episode, we're able to more well define. We've done it a little bit by explaining to people that we've got shows. We've got shows. But maybe we'll go over the different shows here, and you can get an understanding that this is now a network, an entertainment network. And this message goes directly out to Barn who doesn't seem to understand that we have different shows on this network. Hopefully for an hour and a half, 2 hour long episode, we can explain to you the different shows and you'll know that, hey, if this is a confab, I'm gonna get a 1 on 1 interview between Max and somebody very interesting. Oh, this is a PMM episode. We're gonna talk about all kinds of different things. Freedom, sovereignty, Bitcoin, mining, community, the Bitcoin brief. Well, I'm gonna talk about different software updates or different news within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
You got it, Barn? Don't worry. We'll continue to go over these different topics. He he's an outrageous
[00:18:26] Unknown:
creature, isn't he? Creature.
[00:18:28] Unknown:
Yeah. That's the right word for him. I'm a creature. He sent me some, barn jerky. It's in the UK now, so I'm very excited about that. Yeah. I heard that was smuggled in. That's exciting. Mhmm.
[00:18:39] Unknown:
Yeah. Very exciting. We're international
[00:18:41] Unknown:
beef smugglers now. Interpol is gonna bring down this jerky mule. It's a jerky goat. I bet they do as well. And they eat it right in front of you. Some some Canadian border agent. What kind of beef you got in there? We're an Ungovertible Misfits family. Yeah. It really is. We talk about Barn Miner, and we talk about all these people in our periphery. I would just like and I hope you guys have thought of different people, but I'll start things off that I would like to thank in this year for being contributors, being a big part of the show, helping move the show along or even create topics or do different articles and whatnot for us. First of all, I lean heavily on this guy for PMM episodes. A lot of times, his articles will drive the tone of the entire episode, and that is Charles Muriel. If you haven't read his writings, if you haven't stuck around on PMM episodes to listen to the end, please do. I'd like to see if we can't organize all of the Charles Muriel recordings, or maybe I'll rerecord all of the articles into one segment. Oh, that'd be nice. Especially the ones that relate to mental health.
So where do you start this mental health journey with Charles Muriel? Demoralizing people, demoralizing others, the demoralization campaign from the globalist Hollywood pedophiles that seek to dominate us. That's the first technique that they use to control us, is to demoralize us. So he goes over identifying the fact that we're being demoralized and what we can do to combat that. And then he goes on this whole long arc of mental health. If you're not mentally healthy, how can you be prepared to provide for your family, to provide for yourself, and to fight back against the globalists, secure your sovereignty and freedom? You gotta get your head space right. And Charles Muriel is there to help you do that. Thank you very much, Charles. I know those articles aren't easy to write. When you go through them, you see how well thought out, not just each article is, but the entire arc. So thank you so much for your time. It's deeply meaningful to me, and we've gotten lots of compliments, especially on podcasting 2.0 boosts about our Charles, Francois Bienvenu, Myriel.
2nd on my list is SolExporter. Now we've got an entire show that is called Klebminor and MeSHDadel or whatever the p's and m's are. SolEx, without your initial vision of and idea of the mesh to del and bringing that about and all of your hard work in in creating the mesh to del, we wouldn't even have these ideas with the show. So thank you very much for who you are. I just love you so much. I don't I don't want him to cry a little bit here. Kaboomrax Alex. We lean heavily on Kaboomrax Alex for action news, mining related articles and info and intel. And he's always there whenever we have a question about mining gear or the mining industry. Always willing to help out. Bubba. Besides my personal friendship with Bubba, we've got a new segment on the PMM show called the minstrel's musings, something like that. Jordan, maybe you know what the hell I call the damn segment. But where Bubba comes on and gives us some of his old man wisdom, Fundamentals not only donated some music
[00:21:37] Unknown:
for the show, but he's been on a confab episode. He's always coming up with ideas for us. On his Rock Paper Bitcoin podcast, he often mentions Ungovertible Misfits, always retweets everything that we put out. Fundamentals has really been there for us. Shadrach. Old grandpa Shadrach. Thank you, sir, for all of your support of Ungovernable Misfits. Maybe, Jordan, you can just go ahead and take it from here on Monero Mining stuff. It's just funny with this whole journey over this past year and getting to know so many people. Right? Like, for example, you have a guy like Shadrach DM's you on Telegram one day, hey, this might be a cool thing that Ungovernable Misfits can do. And then, you know, you spend the next hour or so with them, like, oh, okay. Now I'm mining Monero for the show. With his help there, I had no idea about Hash Vault dot Pro and all this stuff. He was able to get that all connected, and then and then I'm able to help Max out, and then we're able to do that tweet that was yesterday for Mining with the Misfits. And, yeah, and then he's still even in, like, the replies there, like, hey, make sure you use a VPN. Grandpa Shadrach taking care of the crew. Thank you so much, grandpa Shadrach. Another one, this guy is more on the down low and on the meshidal side of things is Agrarian Contrarian. I don't know why this is so important, but he recorded
[00:22:44] Unknown:
sounds of his hogs grunting and squealing. Like, took the time out of his day. I don't know. He probably spent 10, 15 minutes trying to get get everything just right, but I used that as an intro to one of our shows, one of our action news shows titled don't be a pig. Don't be a pig. Yeah. And so we've weaved that in with pigs from Pink Floyd, and I thought that that was very seamless. But the recording inspired that whole entire show. I just got that off of just this guy sent me some recording of pigs, and now I have to somehow write a show around that. And we'll we'll talk more about our don't be a pig episode and and some of our themes, but the tone of the don't be a pig episode is, you know, we have all this salacious media in the world and in Bitcoin, and we get squirreled and distracted on that. Back in my day, Bat Boy was a funny thing to talk about. Nancy Kerrigan getting her ankle broken and and not making the Olympics. Those are stories that people paid attention to, but then I I'd listed a whole bunch of stories from that same era and well, Max, especially, because he wasn't born. But, most people didn't really remember that these huge world changing events happened at that same time. So that was all inspired just from recording some fucking pigs grunting as they wallow in mud. Of course, we want to thank all of our sponsors.
And, Max, if you could pick up on the sponsors after I call out our sponsors for PMM and Action News. First of all, our first sponsor ever, at least my involvement in bit by bit and on government misfits, Mehdi Nasseri from LINK coin, load, clode. Bridge. The big man. The big fridge. Ice cold, baby. Thank you very much, Mehdi, for always supporting us. We were hot with LINK coin when we first started the mining show, Max. A lot of people have forgotten about Link Coin, and they were right there innovating things with privacy payouts being kind of like a fuck you pleb pool. They just aren't mouthy about it. We're probably the biggest mouth for Link Coin. Just quietly behind the scenes creating a ton of powerful tools to run and operate, not only your mining operation, but any electrical consumer. So I just wanna remind All brains, no mouth. That's why they've got us.
[00:24:52] Unknown:
With a yin to their yang, with all mouth, no brains.
[00:24:57] Unknown:
Well, I think in a way we need to be a little bit more mouthy, and and let's not forget the guy who supported Ungovril Misfits mining arm from the beginning. Remember the call? Yeah. Max, it's like, Mehdi, do you want yes. We We didn't we didn't even finish the sentence. I was going to call you to sponsor this show. I do remember. Thank you very much. Once again, kaboomrax Alex. That was one of our first sponsors also out of pocket. If you don't buy mining gear from alteritech.

Io from Avril, you just can't do it. I don't know why. Reach out to Kaboom Rex, Alex. Specifically, Alex. Only Alex. Specifically, Alex. Right? Yeah. Because specifically, Alex is the one, not Kaboom Rex, who actually sponsored us. So if you go to anyone other than specifically Alex, we will hunt you down and murder you. In a nice way, but it will happen. Let me take a pause here. How do you murder someone in a nice way? Just quick and painless and easy. Ah. Yeah? You don't wanna string it out. Do you think, like, this heart attack gun that the CIA has, is that a good one? No. Because it's linked to, the CIA. I would just say it was just like a a bullet to the head. Swift. Back of the head, they don't know it's coming. Gone. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:26:04] Unknown:
Hey, Max. You're a good guy, man. Thanks, mate. Yeah. You bet.
[00:26:09] Unknown:
Next up on my list is Aaron Hall from Bifrost Manufacturing dot com. Actually, you don't say menu. Bifrost manufacturing.com. Yeah. That's better. I'm excited to go on another fishing trip this January. Jordan, are you coming? You coming down to go fishing,
[00:26:27] Unknown:
I don't think I'll be fishing, but I'll, I'm definitely coming to stay the night one of the nights there. What do you mean? You're going on a fishing trip and not gonna fish? No. Well It's not a sleeping trip. It's essentially I'm just doing a favor for a barn miner. He wants me to come and get jerky for Alberta Hoddle. So Oh. Yeah. Like I said, I'm the jerky mule. Jerky goat? Yeah. So I'm driving there, driving back. I think you should take some time and go fishing. I think you should too. Yeah. I've just never been a big fisherman. Fisher them.
[00:26:56] Unknown:
Fish are they. I think you'd make a great fish are they? And it's not about catching the fish, it's about the laughs along the way Yeah. With a great group of guys and John.
[00:27:08] Unknown:
We'll figure it out. Okay. It's all good. Alright. Sorry to pressure you live on air. Continue with my list. Bass load. Boom, boom, boom, boom, bass load. Thank you, friend, for our many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many hours of conversation. I love you. You're great. Of course, next, Brad Maynard.
[00:27:27] Unknown:
Oh, my fluffy sweet goat with his clean hooves. Don't worry about him being on the carpet. There's no poop on his hooves. No. No. They're clean and supple. He can be on your white furniture. No problem. There's also no poo poo on his tail or pee in his beard. He's clean.
[00:27:50] Unknown:
Born has always been there for us since day 1. Day 1. Somebody I'd like to thank. I don't know if this was on your list. Max. Antimus.
[00:27:57] Unknown:
If you're out there, buddy, get in contact. We miss you. I had Antimus on my list too. Yeah. I miss him. I've messaged him multiple times to see that he's okay. I've heard nothing. Gone dark. He's hiking in Iran or something. It's one of those guys that would just surprise you with weird and wonderful things that he does. So he could be anywhere doing anything wherever you are, mate. We're sending love from the Ungovernable crew. Next up, Dick Greaser,
[00:28:25] Unknown:
Rod Palmer, and the entire Bugle newsroom. They've been a big part of Ungovernable Misfits.
[00:28:31] Unknown:
Yeah. Rod's prolific. Yeah. Prolific. I like that. Yeah. Like, when I was going through the boosts on, like, some of the episodes, like, in the brief or, the confabs and whatnot, you just see Rob just dropping baller boosts and Mhmm. Listen to them with fundamentals for the satoshios. Like Yeah. Oh my gosh. Like, I think it's a really good combination because, like, Dick has really good pros, and Rod, like, on the mic is, like, so quick. Yeah. He's very sharp. It's pretty incredible.
[00:28:59] Unknown:
He's got a good voice too. Yeah. I said, I don't think Rod uses the voice modulator that much. He he just has a natural radio voice. Yeah. Because I'm never sure. Right? I'm just like, oh, is that, like, yeah, over modulated or something like that, or is that just his voice? I think it's mostly just his voice. It's a it's a good radio voice.
[00:29:16] Unknown:
Yeah. But, yeah, great team there. Highly credentialed.
[00:29:19] Unknown:
Indeed. Body McBotface.
[00:29:22] Unknown:
Oh, the guy. I don't have him in studio today. He's missed here. As long as, like, a little hole in my heart when Body's not in studio with us. But thank you, Bobby. Seeing you evolve over the past, 3 years has been very exciting from, just a kind of a dry, plain telegram robot telling dad jokes to an ungovernable motherfucking gangster. Appreciate you, buddy. And, of course, I appreciate your wife.
[00:29:50] Unknown:
Who doesn't? Volkswagen. So round. We also had another a 123 baller boosters
[00:30:00] Unknown:
this year. Yeah. Speaking of baller boosters, is there anyone close to top tier list there? Oh, there were some, but I can't remember off the top of my head who they were now. Obviously, I know it's becoming more of an exclusive club just based on, where we're at price wise, but, you know, the tier is the tier as they say. We definitely got some that are close. I think black coffee might have been close. I have black coffee on my list because he I think he dropped the biggest boost of the year if I'm not, mistaken.
[00:30:30] Unknown:
I think he might well have. Yeah. It was that 200,000
[00:30:33] Unknown:
sats. It was insane. Big Baller. In regards to the Big Baller t shirt, who did we give that to again this year?
[00:30:40] Unknown:
Was it Chet and 8 Mithrandir and oh, my brain. Who else did we do? SolEx? Yeah. Was it SolEx?
[00:30:52] Unknown:
I think so. K. Here. Give me a sec. I'm bringing it up right now. All time all time top supporters. Oh, yeah. So we got late stage, which I think John's probably gonna get to, so I won't, I won't stomp on that. Hashladdet. Oh, that little lady. Crush it this year. Right? 8 Mythran Deer. John's is in, in the mail. And, Chet, we all eat. Yeah. If anyone, else wants to get an exclusive t shirt made by the great artist, mister Crown. You know, I see Bon on the list here, mister mister, Rod Palmer, set in stone, Black Coffee. These guys are coming up on it. So, it'd be awesome to add them to the, exclusive club. To backtrack a second,
[00:31:35] Unknown:
Max, do you have anyone on your list that you would like to thank as a part of the Ungovertible Misfits family?
[00:31:43] Unknown:
Everyone on the list, but the ones that have stood out and made me laugh quite a lot this year, particularly, Pies, it's gotta be in there. That crazy donkey with all his emojis and pull ups and everything else. Bon, of course. Chet, always there. Mister Crown, for his incredible artwork and keeping the website looking fresh and everything that he puts into Ungovernable Misfits, definitely a big thanks to mister Crown.
[00:32:13] Unknown:
Would you like to take some time and thank Q or talk about Q for a little bit?
[00:32:17] Unknown:
I'll try and do it without tearing up. Impossible. Yeah. Q has been a massive part of my Bitcoin journey, man. He's always been there since the very beginning pretty much, answering my stupid questions and helping me with all my technical problems and obviously joining the show and starting the Bitcoin monthly with me that has become the Bitcoin Brief because, people wanted more. And, yeah, he's become a very, very close friend. So it's been amazing to learn from him, learn how to become more private, and get my security up. So, yeah, massive thank you to q and a who's put out just incredible content over the years and helped countless people.
[00:33:03] Unknown:
Jordan, who do you got on your list?
[00:33:05] Unknown:
Yeah. Let's go. So there's a bunch here. I want to point out, like, expatriotic. Oh, yeah. Yeah. He's been doing a bunch there, and he's one that tests all of our stuff. And And he contributed an article. Yes. Right? Being ex patriotic. Chad f, another guy that's, like, on the technical side of podcasting 2.0 who gives us recommendations and points stuff out and is not afraid to tell us stuff. That's true. He's very blunt. Yeah. From a friendship standpoint, like, Max Tannehill has been an awesome person to get to know this year and and talk to about technical things in Bitcoin and, just even life stuff, so it's been fun. Anyone else that comes to mind?
[00:33:46] Unknown:
My furry friend, you know who you are, hopping around. Oh, yeah.
[00:33:51] Unknown:
I love you, mate. Miss you. You know what? I should also, point out, like, obviously, Barry at Podhome, all of his help. He's always there, like, on the support
[00:34:01] Unknown:
side. Hey. Hey. We uploaded an episode that has no nothing in it. Can you fix that for us?
[00:34:06] Unknown:
Yeah. And then from that same standpoint, right, like, Oscar on the other side. Like, when we, load our images, and they're massive
[00:34:17] Unknown:
and, the podcast players can't handle it, and he's there to I've I've fucked up an episode hard by putting some big GIFs in there. I never I've, like, shied away from it ever since. Oh, yeah. Don't worry, Jordan. I got this. A I b l e as well. Sure. Just came to mind. Well, what what I'm gonna as far as boosters go, I'm gonna read them I'm gonna read them all. Oh, fast. Have you got some music, Sabaccat?
[00:34:41] Unknown:
No. You can overlay some if you like. I got one more on the XMR chat side. Fiat Demees Fiat Demees. Yep. For, creating that awesome product that, has been helping us out a lot on the Monero side. So he's been in contact with us and just making sure that we're all good with everything and Fucking shitcoiners.
[00:35:01] Unknown:
I didn't know that was public knowledge. What? I didn't know it was public knowledge that, Fiat Demise is behind it. I think it's Fiat Demise and a bunch of other people. Well, you may want you might wanna check before you edit. I can check with them. Let's double check. I want, 2 more general shout outs. The Node Runners crew, Brinkie, SF, Ghost of Limburgard. There's a lot. I probably should have prepared this a little bit better. But all I have to say is Node Runners. Yeah. And you know who that applies to. Thank you guys so much of your support, our cross support. Appreciate you all. Love you all. Really wanna get over there one day and, go to one of your meetups and and meet you all in person. And be knighted. Yeah. It's gonna be a big fucking deal if I go over there. Yeah.
Then there'd be no Adam Back shit just randomly in a hallway at a conference. I want a whole fucking ceremony. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Me too. Okay. Good. We'll go together. Well, we can all go. We can all be knighted. Sure. Okay. I love it. Let's make that happen. And, the mesh to del in general that covers a lot of people, a 150 something people, and the Pleb minor mafia. All of my buddies that we say good morning to every morning, especially Jamie and Gary and fundamentals in baseload, and sometimes Nilay Patel. Those are our standard good morning crew, good morning coffee crew of old men that can't sleep in past 5:30 because we all have to get up and pee and do a bunch of stuff. Thank you all. And the TSP group, the the Sovereign Bitcoin group. Yeah. I don't go in there very often, but you guys are more active in that group. That's that's your crew, but they're all staunch supporters.
And now I'm going to read everybody that boosted the show in 2024. Are you guys ready? Yep. It's gonna go fast. Ready? There's no way I'm sharing any of this with Max. If you want this episode to be 3 hours long and have him fumble his dyslexic ass fumble over all of these names, It's not happening. You're just gonna have to listen to me for 2, 3 minutes. Alright. Here we go. Pause. The most boosts, period. Shadrach, 8 Myth Randir, MCOT, cheers. Late stage huddle, that's the biggest booster. Bond, wartime, Chet, Beard and Bitcoin, Wilford Allen, Greg and Lapuai. That's right. I said Lapuai. Jose s Pam, soul exporter. Sole exporter. Feral hippie, Nicky Jean, Nostra Gang, Sir Chad Farrow, Sats Misfit, Lake Satoshi, Fundamentals, Bubba, Nobody from Nowhere, Deez laughs, Carl, from Carl's Corner, Attitude, Lonely Pumpkins, Max Wood, Warm Orange Tot, Hash Slatet, mister g, Business Cat, Black Coffee, Clubbed Polymath, mister mister, mister Crown, Rod Palmer, Vague, Huxley, Nathan Day, Johnny Hash, Finmack.
It's on real paper. Richard Greaser, Bert de Groot, high hash rate, expatriotic.

Archieesta, Banana Man, Birdflip, Marcellus, Dave Smith, Blizzar, EZ, Simon, Smoke, FOMO Chronic.
Ah, I think he changed his name there. FOMO Chronic. Say that one, Max.
[00:38:43] Unknown:
FOMO chronic.
[00:38:45] Unknown:
Which one do you like better? FOMO, Mistronic. Okay. Well, you you heard it here first. BTC Curacao, BTC onboard, France 369, auto, damp shadow, LF6, fishy stick. Fishy stick. I like that one. I like damp shadow. Yeah. That's a good one. You're just a damp shadow. There are many of those. Also, Aluminium Garage, Han Shan, Fiat Demise, King Ming, Whirlpool Go Bur, Cigarette and a Heart, Hi, Fuck, Expatriotic, Chad Farrow, Bill Gates, q and a truther, Elizabeth Warren, Smoke, Carter, Seth for Privacy, Anon, Doctor Zivago, Sir Jamsalot, Privacy Designer, Opt Out, Wild Child, and Lincoln Park Rules, who all tipped us on Uncoverable Misfits' XML chat. I had no idea that ecosystem was so robust.
[00:40:48] Unknown:
Oh, it's banging, mate. Yeah. Banging. I can't help you with that. Excuse excuse me? What? Excuse me, bitch. I'm trying to work. I don't think so. I can't help you with that.
[00:41:02] Unknown:
Who's that your little sex robot or something? Yeah. Yeah. It's actually missus Boddy. I can't help you with that. That's too kinky for even me.
[00:41:11] Unknown:
I think we found missus Boddy's voice. Of course, it's much more refined and, understandable than Boddy's voice. Well, that's it. That's all the boosters from XMR chat Uh-huh. And podcast 2. That's that's all. Just like a 150 people willing to separate their money and give it to us because they're moderately entertained, or they feel bad for us. Most likely the latter. First up on all of our shows that we would like to review, the confab. Max, would you like to take that one over while I go tinkle? Even Jordan can handle the podcast from here. Yeah. Let's go through some of the confab shows we've done this year. So we've done
[00:41:48] Unknown:
episode 1 with Diverter. Diverter and me going through the great malaise in Bitcoin where users have strayed from the core principles like privacy and adversarial thinking. This was a good one. I really enjoyed this, and I think it got some people thinking. It was also just before the samurai arrest, like, a couple of days before, was it? When a lot of the stuff that we talked about in that episode and the diverter had predicted pretty much happened the following week. I think we released it on the day. Was it? Yeah. I literally think it was on the day if I'm not mistaken. No. You're right. It was because I remember listening back to it. Because we had recorded it the week before. Yeah. And I remember listening back to it and being like, yeah. Oh, this is quite a good episode. You've done a nice job here. And,
[00:42:38] Unknown:
yeah. Then bang. It all kicked off and There was so much foreshadowing to it. Right? So Mhmm. The adversarial thinking has continued to completely go out the window in the larger space. Right? Yeah. Now talking about strategic Bitcoin reserves, like, that's the main talking point. Yep. Completely inconsequential to the actual,
[00:42:59] Unknown:
ethos of Bitcoin, but whatever. Yeah. If anyone missed that one, it's it's worth going back. Just evergreen, I would say. Yeah. And then episode 2 was, just after the arrest. Diverter came back on and, brought our good friend, Selco, with him. Yeah. We went through, obviously, the fallout from the samurai wallet situation. It is an attack on privacy. That was really an episode to rally some support from the community, because it's the most important thing happening in Bitcoin
[00:43:30] Unknown:
at this moment. Yeah. And people have been doing their part, like, on the, social side. That's for sure. Just maintaining the message and, obviously, with Zac Shapiro and, T Dev's lawyer going on, Danny Knowles' podcast there. Yeah. That was good to see. Yeah. The message is getting out there and then obviously with, you know, everything that's going on in politics. There's some good news at this point when these were recorded, like, it was all bad news. So
[00:43:57] Unknown:
we're in a better position than we were at that point. Yeah. Definitely. It was also really cool to see after that episode went out and, after Samurai Arrest, when mim mister Crown had designed the hoodies, the free samurai hoodies, and to see them worn by so many people and at different conferences and things like that was pretty amazing to see how much support there is out there for these guys. Yeah. It was at the Bitcoin conference there. Right? Where, diverter and econoalchemist were both wearing them on stage? Yeah. Yeah. That was awesome. Just at that conference, there was, like, a 100 to a 150 hoodies and t shirts. That's awesome. Yeah. That was really, really cool to see. And just, again, getting the word out there in a different way, but, getting the word out there and also being able to support that cause with a percentage of our profits from it. So that was, a nice thing to be a part of and for Ungovernable Misfits to do. And then following that episode, episode 3 was with our good friend Urban Hacker. Urban. Urban.
Yeah. He came on to talk about the risks and privacy issues that we have in a post Whirlpool world. We went through the alternatives, joined market, Monero, Wasabi, and he'd gone through and tested some of the stuff. But basically, a a call for users to run their own nodes, stay vigilant, and know the risks of what you're doing. So that again was a very good one. Always good to go through things with Urban. Yeah. I like that one a lot too because it was, like, kinda like going through the Bitcoin tools
[00:45:35] Unknown:
and, then it was like, yeah, this is garbage garbage. Yeah. Whatever. A little bit antiquated and then, you know, it's just like or you could just spin Monero.
[00:45:43] Unknown:
So Pretty much. There's me shitcoining again. Yeah. You fucking shitcoiner. What a piece of shit. Talking of shitcoiners, episode 4, set for privacy. The king shitcoiner, Seth. He came on to discuss the loss of Samura wallet and Monero's privacy features, and how it's being used more and more as a tool for people who need privacy. We talked about silent payments and then the updates to Monero's full chain upgrades. So for anyone who was looking for actionable advice after the Urban Hacker episode Yeah. That was kind of a follow on from there. And in the same way that I appreciate how Urban Hacker goes through everything, Seth, specifically when it comes to Monero, just has a wealth of knowledge. And I like the fact that he isn't a shill on either side. He uses Bitcoin. He uses Monero.
He's not a cultist on either side, which I see a lot, which, yeah, I appreciate from him. Yeah. Likewise. And I thought that was a good episode because it was like,
[00:46:53] Unknown:
well, now that, Whirlpool's down, everything sucks, so don't fucking bother. That's pretty That's what I got from it. It's like, oh, okay. So there is nothing. Alright. Pretty much.
[00:47:03] Unknown:
Then Max Tannehill. Max came on talking about the changes in Bitcoin, censorship, privacy strategies. Again, talking about Monero, swaps. Also, like, how to live using Bitcoin. Use of gift cards, and things like that to go about your day to day life for petrol and shopping and whatever else you might need. Max, again, someone who I have huge respect for and just gets it. He really understands the technology. He really understands how to use it. He isn't one of these larps who pretends, and he's got a very realistic
[00:47:43] Unknown:
approach to things. So I really enjoy I always enjoy speaking to Max Tannehill. Yeah. He's so, lucid when it comes to these topics and, you know, he actually does, like, peer to peer cash trades in Singapore. So, you know, he walks the walk and, yeah, and then he's also willing to be, like, blunt and honest about certain topics that, you know, people don't want to talk about, you know, whether it's Yeah. Lightning, like, sorry, everyone, there are problems.
[00:48:09] Unknown:
It's so funny seeing him argue with that. It's so funny, like, because what I really like is when you'll have people coming in like, oh, yeah. Just use lightning, and, oh, that's not a problem. They'll, like, hand wave things away, and then he'll very clearly define issues and how things work in a calm and nice way. Like, it's Yeah. It's a pleasure to see. That was followed by Matt Hill from Start 9. This was another great one. I really enjoyed it because it's been what I've been running for, I don't know, the last year or so now. I really appreciate the work that they've put out, and it was good to have Matt on to talk about what they're doing, talk about a bit of the history of Start9, and also we talked quite a lot about, like, networking and routers and the possibility they're gonna be bringing their own router out, which would be really cool to see. So, yeah, I enjoyed that one. Yeah. It was exciting, you know, just because in preparation for that episode, I, even fired up my own Start 9 and Fart 9, dude.
[00:49:09] Unknown:
Yeah. I fired up my own Start 9, and, yes. The software is, like, so intuitive. Right? And I think everyone has that feeling when they use start 9. And so just another side note here, we're trying to fire up some support here to get, Pavl, the Coder's Dojo project onto start 9. So it'll be easier with start 9, 0.3.6 release, but, regardless, we're just trying to get the ball rolling on it. Someone messaged me about that bounty
[00:49:40] Unknown:
the other day. I need to look into that. But, yeah, that would be that would be incredible. One of the things I appreciate about start 9 is that people can build in their community app store. You know, so like Yeah. When I was setting up my Monero node You could have a Monero node in there. Yeah. Like, it was perfect. I was like, I was reading through all these confusing guides and shit, and I tried running a Monero node, like, in 2017 or 2018. I had an absolutely fucking nightmare trying to do it. So I was quite intimidated with the process. And then I was like, oh, okay. I can just do it on the start 9. It was like one click install, pretty much. Yeah. Like, it took a little bit of time, but it was fucking easy.
It was amazing. So I really like what the team has done. I like that they have that open platform for other people to develop on. I really, really would like to see this bounty for Dojo come about and for that to be possible because I think a lot of people are running these start lines, and a lot of the listeners
[00:50:36] Unknown:
are wanting to on Dojo. So, yeah, that would be awesome. As I listened to that episode, I thought about a Citadel Dispatch that Matt Hill was on Oh, yeah. And Zelko was on. And there was a lot of back and forth about, you know, convincing Matt Hill to open things up with start 9. And I went back and listened to that segment where Zelco is really, like, lacing into him in an unforgivable manner. And I thought, you know, Zelco has taken a step back from everything lately, But I wanna take this opportunity when talking about this episode of the confab to not forget about Zelco and his contributions to the space because I do think he really helped push a lot of these node producers over to the opening things up a little bit. I don't know a lot about the licensing and MIT licensing and what is exactly open source and source viewable and whatnot, but I do think that he has pushed the needle over into that direction. So thanks, Zalco, for being kind of a badass in that space. Yeah. Definitely. He's been very, very clear with the open source stuff. He he was on the attack with that. With the node stuff, he was also on the attack when,
[00:51:43] Unknown:
NVK decided to, do what he did. So he was very, very vocal then as well. And you need these people who are willing to stand up and fight for things and NVK. What do you mean? He's not a good guy?
[00:51:56] Unknown:
I just bought 10 cold cards to give out to my family because I think that they, they're ready for cold storage. My dad's gonna do it.
[00:52:06] Unknown:
What a guy. Fucking cunt. Yeah. A bit of a penis. But yeah. So we appreciate you, Selco. Thank you, mate. Mhmm. After that, we had Zach Herbert, MBK's best friend. That came on to discuss privacy and hardware wallets, reproducible builds, blind signing, risks and foundation devices future plans, which, which we already know about. We already know about that. So, yeah, that was a good one. They literally teased that for 6 fucking months. Yeah? Wow. Great stretch. And we also got into a load of other stuff like food and health and actually spending your Bitcoin and actually using your savings to improve your life and not being scared of doing that. And, you know, he told the story of how Foundation started and having to bankroll that and having to sell a lot of Bitcoin to do it. And, you know, are there regrets on his side? Are there regrets on my side of doing it this year so that I can go full time with this? And Mhmm. You know, we both came to the conclusion that, in some ways, yes. Like, some ways you look back and you go, fuck. You know? Like, I made the sacrifice. This is what's allowed the bull run to continue. You know? Like, I've got much less money than I would have otherwise. But at the same time, like, you're improving your life and following a passion that you have and trying to put something out into the world that you believe is good.
[00:53:28] Unknown:
So, that is more valuable than anything else. So it was it was good to get that side of things from him as well in that episode. Quite often when I'm listening to Con Fab episodes, I'm just looking for opportunities to bring that person into the mesh dells fold. And when he started talking about orange peeling the Amish, I was like, oh, we got a guy that does that. Get in the mesh dell and hook you 2 up. I'm so excited.
[00:53:52] Unknown:
Yeah. He's a good fit for it. Oh, I wouldn't mind getting,
[00:53:55] Unknown:
John's opinion on the next one because he, said he, had too many words in the boosts.
[00:54:02] Unknown:
I don't even know. Yeah. Okay.
[00:54:04] Unknown:
Go ahead, Max. Episode 8 with my good friend, Kerim, a crazy individual
[00:54:12] Unknown:
that I love to death. Is this the part where I'm supposed to go off on a rant a rant about esotericism? Yes. I I see. I think, we need a I need a confab with him. Oh, that'd be nice. It would be nice. It would be interesting. I mean, listen. Listen. Because I I think both of us are very spiritual people, but of course, my spiritual bent is Christianity, and his is Thor. Full full spiritual Thor. No. Thor. Thor. Yeah. Sure. That was that was one of it, but he he basically touched on every single mystery religion that ever existed. Mhmm. He's all over the place. So it's it's like, where did I want to begin? Do we want to begin with the Emerald Tablet? Are we going with Norse mythology? What other mythology do you want to do a take on? You wanna talk about Ayahuasca or DMA? It was all it was absolutely all over the place. It's like I just kept, like, I had, like, a little note piece of paper. I was doing some some work, and I just had a piece of paper there, and I, like, wrote down a bunch of things that I wanted to boost. And then when it became time to boost, I was like, I I don't even know what to say. I I get I get too much.
[00:55:14] Unknown:
Here here's a 100,000 sats.
[00:55:17] Unknown:
You know, he went in went to ghosts and spirits and and out of body Demons. Demons and so on. Yeah. Demonology. Okay. Well, that's not now you're back in my wheelhouse. And then then he'd lose me, and then he'd bring me back for a second. Everybody should really go back and listen to that episode. And that's the strength of the confab is okay. Fine. In the middle of all this confab list, you have a guy that is going over this huge range of spiritualism and esotericism. Just all of a sudden, and then a supposed Bitcoin podcaster or used to be a primarily Bitcoin podcast. And this is the power this is the power of Max giving up being a sugar baby. This is the power of Max going full time. This is the power that we're not a bunch of Bitcoin maximalists. Just wanna jerk off into a cup and drink it and talking about Bitcoin all the time. There's so many different things that that we can talk about. And and this show, it really, really exemplifies that. Cynthia Lummis is hot. Here we go. It's it's the bugle on here. I have too much to say about this confab, so I'm just gonna basically say nothing.
[00:56:17] Unknown:
Oh, you're taking the same approach that John's tried to I didn't. I just talked for, like, 3 minutes straight. No. No. Previously, I'm talking about you know, I hadn't spoken to Karen for a long time before that episode. I think the last time we'd caught up was the previous episode. It's just always interesting chatting with him. Like, he does a deep dive into lots of stuff. He has interests in so many different fields and finds links between them and yeah. I know obviously you're into a lot of your spiritual stuff, and you've talked to me previously about demons and all sorts of things. So I think it would be a good one. It'll be like a Jake Paul, Mike Tyson vibe.
[00:56:52] Unknown:
Who the fuck am I? Oh, mate. Let's just go my age. Like, I I know I know. I didn't get the impression that Karim was young either. No. He's old as fuck, actually. Yeah. He's got a good accent. Has he? Yeah. Yeah. It's kinda hard to nail down. Okay. Maybe we'll make that happen next year. Okay. Then we had
[00:57:14] Unknown:
seed signer. I went through a seed signer, discussions on privacy erosion, grassroots projects, multi 6 setups, the Bitcoin community changing focus. Then we also talked about diving and what was it? Is it Curacao we were talking about? Yeah. That was good. Yeah. I really enjoyed that one. And SeaSign is a, a return guest. I always like having him and other team members on because I have a huge amount of respect for that project. I like their ethos. I like the way they do things. I like having another option out there that isn't shit that people can build themselves. I think it's, very, very important for Bitcoin to have seed signer project.
[00:57:54] Unknown:
Just want to remind everybody that we used to have a seed signer shirt in the store and that when somebody purchased that shirt donations were made to seed signer. So we've been a big supporter of seed signer for a long time. As a matter fact, during our initial ClubMiner month, we gave away I think I gave away 3 SeedSiner. So big fans.
[00:58:13] Unknown:
Yeah. Big fans of SeedSiner. He's a good dude. Yeah. I like SeedSiner. I like the whole team. We had them all on on the previous episode. Must have been was that not this year when we had all of them on? No. Must have been last year. Well, that was a really good one. I enjoyed that as well. Yeah. And that one's linked in the show notes of that, content. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Then we had Oscar Merry, the man or one of the men behind Fountain, which we have used very heavily this year. It's helped us grow quite a lot actually. We've seen more and more people boosting the show and getting involved with podcasting 2.0. And I think although there are some issues with Fountain reliability wise and other things, which I did get into with Oscar, it has been massive for helping us grow. So, yeah, it was great to have him on the show and then to talk about this Nostra integration, which again, has annoyed a lot of people. Yeah. Big time.
But I do kind of understand the way they're going and it actually does make sense to me, even if I don't always find it that slick, and even if I'm not yet the biggest Nostra fan, I kind of get the point and where they're going. So it was a good opportunity to go through some of those things. And what I like about Oscar is he does take criticisms well. Mhmm. He isn't one of these pussies in Bitcoin where they just cannot take any criticism even if you're trying to be constructive. He was very good about listening to these concerns and working on things and reflecting on how potentially they could have done things better. And I really like that about him. You know, we had a few calls
[00:59:50] Unknown:
off air as well, and he's a good guy. I like him a lot. He should put that in his bio. Oscar Mayer, not your typical Bitcoin pussy. Yeah.
[01:00:02] Unknown:
Yeah. And people, don't get to see this as much, but, on the podcasting 2.0 side, just from the, like, not just Fountain itself, but the whole ecosystem, the amount of work that Oscar puts in to kind of carry everyone else with him, because he obviously fountain is probably the biggest podcasting 2.0 app. Sure. Yep. But he's also set himself, right, like, if it's just us, then it doesn't really matter. He's, like, you want options, you want people to build each other up because that's how our assess and these protocols work. Right? So he's definitely got a good head on his shoulders, and, it's been awesome seeing Fountain grow and, the ecosystem grow, like, overall. In a way, he sacrificed
[01:00:41] Unknown:
a little bit of Fountain for the Nostra integration. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. A greater good thing. But I've been complaining about it from the beginning that it has made Fountain as an app less usable, but he was willing to fall on the sword for the greater good of decentralization, I guess. I I also wanna thank you know, we already thanked Barry from Pod Home, but thank Oscar as well because he's one of the people that Jordan can go to and say, hey. We fucked something up. Can you fix it for us?
[01:01:09] Unknown:
Yeah. Thanks, man. Episode 11. We had fundamentals on. My favorite Jew. He's a good Jew. Come on. I always like the Mestadel ones. When we bring Mestadelians in, I get to know them a little bit more because I don't really get that from the messaging, the text messaging. It's like having these conversations. I get to understand who someone is. He's a fucking weird individual. Oh, you have no idea. Mhmm. It was good to hear his backstory and understand sort of what was happening in his life and his weird obsession with getting up and just doing maths all morning and just very interesting guy. I need to have him on Action News for a little bit. I'd I would like to bring people on to Action News
[01:01:53] Unknown:
sometimes. That'd be cool. For a 10 fucking minutes, a hard 10 minutes. Yeah. I would literally just boot you off the podcast after 10 minutes. That would be actually sweet. Like, it's just like you have, like, a bell or something, and it's just like boot. You done? Yep. Sorry. I talked for 8 minutes of it, but that's all the time we have for you. Because he's he has a cost to mine breakdown that is very good that I would like to discuss with him live on air. Well, that'd be nice. It's just so hard, Max. I mean, half the time, you and I can't even get together, and then we're trying to add a 3rd person into the mix, which is Yeah. Like, why we dump the Pleb Miner in the wild segment because trying to get somebody there. And then I was doing, like, hour and a half long interviews when that was supposed to be 20 minutes. It's just tough. Man, if we had the money, people, we would try to find this diamond in the rough editor that has, I don't know, 50% of Max's skill set and ADD and autism levels.
[01:02:48] Unknown:
If we could find that, we would do all kinds of fucking shows, Really. Yes. The timing as well. Isn't it? It's like linking up with the time zone changes. And then, you're extremely busy when we can record. Because I have to record from the house. And I have to fuck the kids off out the way. Otherwise, they're screaming and crying and doing all sorts of crazy shit. And then you gotta link another person. It's just we're getting there. Like, we are putting out more shows of higher quality and, it's getting better. So one day maybe there'll be like a recording studio shed in the garden or something like that and that the timings will be easier or something. But it would be cool to definitely get fundamentals on. Your kids are the biggest problem. Yeah. Yeah. They're a huge issue. Just a note on fundamentals, it's been awesome,
[01:03:33] Unknown:
he's one of those guys where it's been awesome getting to know him over the course of this year, you know, like, I'll be building a fence and be talking to fundamentals on the phone or driving out to Lake of the Woods for a job and talking to fundamentals on the phone. So it's been awesome really getting to know him, talking about comedy
[01:03:51] Unknown:
or Bitcoin or anything like that. He knows everybody's stand up routine. He's like a stand up routine encyclopedia.
[01:04:00] Unknown:
Yeah. It's pretty wild. Just a note on his confab episode, you know, so one of those things that I tend to do is that, like, if a guest comes on, then I kind of reach out to them and just kind of see, pick their brain about, like, what kind of chapter art they'd want. So, for instance, in the Fundamentals episode, I asked him, I think, what his favorite math book was. And so there's a picture of innumeracy, mathematical illiteracy and its consequences. That's some chapter art in there, and that's Fundamentals' favorite math book. That's mine as well. National bestseller, by the way. I can see why.
[01:04:36] Unknown:
Episode 12 was with another mestradalian and return guest, Carl, otherwise known as Rev Huddle. Carl from Carl's Cooney. Carl came on to talk about his homestead, farming, mining, permaculture, building a peer to peer economy, and, yeah, always a pleasure speaking to Carl. So much knowledge. Yeah. Just always an interesting guy to talk to. Has, has some very interesting views on things, and it's just nice to see someone who's actually out there trying to build a peer to peer economy and actually doing the work, not just larping and talking.
[01:05:13] Unknown:
There was a time in the mesh to del where I was very active about recruiting people, finding the right person, talking to them, qualifying them, recruiting them into the mesh to del. And Carl was one of, like, the first ones when I was when I was on that kick. And bringing him into the mesh jadell really brought so much knowledge and quality and passion into the mesh jadell. And on the pleb miner side of things, like, I don't know. Did you guys get into mining real deep on that particular episode? I guess I'm catching up to do. We talked very loosely about it quickly and about drying, Yeah. Bud using the, Yeah. He'll he'll dry lots of things, dried elderberries, weed, a number of different things, also trying to stoke his maple syrup boiling process up with mining, and recently he has done a hot water heater which is a big big achievement because once you get into hydronics then you can you can pipe that hot water anywhere. So not only is he a great permaculturalist and community member and meet up guy and peer to peer marketing kind of guy, but he's a great pleb miner. Top tier.
Well, that's it. Those are all of the confab shows for this year. I look forward to the the lineup next year, and I look forward to a lot more weird episodes like with, you know, Karim and Fundamentals and and Carl and Diverter. I like how it with Diverter kicking off the confab,
[01:06:35] Unknown:
he's the same person we kicked off Clubminor month with. You seem to like to have him at the front of the pack. I kind of consider him and and a few others who I get on the show as repeat guests kind of part of the Ungovertible Misfits crew, really. Yeah. I agree. He's also got a consistent nature to him. Right? Mhmm. It's like, it's like Tom Petty.
[01:06:55] Unknown:
That's a great compliment, really. Oh, yeah. This year, the, Bitcoin monthly changed. You dumped Antimus off into the mountains in Turkey somewhere. He said, fuck this guy. Go with a robot. UK only. You convert it over from Bitcoin monthly to the Bitcoin brief. We got rid of the Germans.
[01:07:17] Unknown:
Yeah. As one does.
[01:07:19] Unknown:
You have to. As the UK tends to do, just, back fast the Germans. Hey. Look over there. Communist. Right in the back.
[01:07:29] Unknown:
Yeah. That's been a big change. I really enjoyed doing those. I think it's a better format, like, the monthly shows are cool. Often, we'd get to the end of the month. We'd have something that happened at the beginning of the month, and it's like, this is kind of already been reported on and talked about for a long time now. So you kind of like, you want to be being able to have these conversations a little bit more often. So it's been really nice to change that to do you call it biweekly or every 2 weeks? I don't know. You could call it bisexual. Yeah. You could. It identifies as.
[01:08:01] Unknown:
My favorite thing about the Bitcoin brief is it's kind of loose and breezy compared to the monthly show. There's a little bit more of you and q just rapping before you get into the news or the software updates, and I like that. It's been nice to get to know Q Q's personality a little bit more
[01:08:20] Unknown:
since the Bitcoin brief launched. Yeah. Turns out I like him. He's not too bad. Yeah. He's a well oiled machine, isn't he? He sure is. He often compliments my, singing voice and my impressions. So that's nice. Why you like him. If you say nice things about me, yeah, I tend to like him. He does. He's he's like, even off air, he said to me, he's like, yeah, you know, John, really? If everything doesn't happen right in mining, I think he'd have like a career in music.
[01:08:48] Unknown:
Fuck out of here. Your boy.
[01:08:52] Unknown:
A fluffer. Yeah.
[01:08:54] Unknown:
A doe, a deer, a female deer. Jordan, what are your favorite things about The Bitcoin Brief Show?
[01:09:03] Unknown:
What I love about The Bitcoin Brief is, you know, q and a is always on top of any suggestions that I have, and he always listens to me and always takes what I have to say into account. And so I really appreciate that about the Bitcoin Brief. Just a terrific show, and I also like, you know, obviously, the content. I think it's it caters towards actual Bitcoin usage, and, obviously, like, throughout the years, me and Kyu have always been on the same page in regards to what tools to use in Bitcoin. And so there's a lot of things that I miss in the space and then so when Q brings them up and, you know, even when I'm going through the chapters, it's good to have that, knowledge base there and, he's always bringing it. Yeah. He has done for many years and he's very level headed about things. I've always respected that. He doesn't get into
[01:09:54] Unknown:
petty stupid arguments or talk about things that he doesn't understand. Like, if he's not sure on something, he'll say, I'm not sure I have to do some research. I'll get back to you. He's not just gonna waffle to try and sound smart. He talks about what he knows, and he knows quite a lot. Yeah. His ability to do it off the cuff is fucking incredible to me, as you know, Matt.
[01:10:16] Unknown:
Ask me one thing, and then I have to spend, like, an entire weekend researching it and writing this big long thing, and you can just pop questions at queue. He just knows. UTXO
[01:10:27] Unknown:
management. For instance, with Soluxe's voice mail a couple of briefs back. Mhmm. Like, just literally does, like, 10 minutes on it. Mhmm. And he did it from two angles too. He's like, oh, I think he means this, but then if he means this, there's the answer to the question right there. Right? So Yeah. One of the greatest
[01:10:44] Unknown:
explainers of of how things work and bringing it down to retard level that I've ever come across. Mount Rushmore for sure. You hit the jackpot with that one, didn't you, Max? I've been training him for a long time. I've been like, let Programming. This is exactly how retards think. Spend some time with me and you'll know. And, yeah, he's been practicing. He's got very, very good at getting complex topics across to, special needs individuals.
[01:11:11] Unknown:
Yeah. Is q and a just like Max's large language model?
[01:11:15] Unknown:
Very well could be. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:11:18] Unknown:
Chat q and a.
[01:11:20] Unknown:
Yeah. Honestly, that would be that is, like, a goal of mine at some point. Like, I wanna put q and a into a chatbot, a literal chatbot.
[01:11:29] Unknown:
I think you should. You should do it to all of us. He's ever done in the brief, you know, feed it in, feed his whole website in, and then you just have, like, this master q and a. Oh. Mine would just be you'd ask it a question, and it would say, I don't know. I'll have to think on that. I'll get back to you, and then never answer you back.
[01:11:47] Unknown:
It would sing you a song while you wait.
[01:11:49] Unknown:
Let me let me let me distract you with some kind of voice. Is that a good answer? I look forward to 20 20 fives Bitcoin Briefs. It's the best way to stay in tune with the fact that this is technology.
[01:12:08] Unknown:
This isn't the next hot story or how you feel about this particular issue. This is just technology, and this guy can explain it to you in a very unfeeling way. It's my way of keeping up to date with things because I'm not someone who, like, sits and reads all the articles, and gets on GitHub, and fucking reads through all this kind of stuff. Like, I need to just have conversations with people, and that's how I learn. And in the beginning, it was like listening to Antonopoulos doing q and a sessions. I just listened to them on repeat while I drive around and, like, slowly starting to work out what the fuck people are talking about. And then I got into other podcasts, listening, and just trying to work things out. But I found basically the best way for me to learn was just my chats with q and a, and that's kind of how it came about. And Mhmm. I hope that other people listen and they don't have to kind of be finger on the pulse. Like, they can still live their life like normal human beings with jobs and kids and families.
But just every 2 weeks, they tune in and they're like, oh, okay. This is what's happening in Bitcoin without all the noise and bullshit. Hear. Hear. Hear. Hear.
[01:13:15] Unknown:
Next up on our shows, we got shows, Action News, and everybody's favorite segment from Action News. Statistics.
[01:13:26] Unknown:
Statistics. I'm a tell
[01:13:29] Unknown:
I desperately need a piss, so just give me Bitcoin and statistics.
[01:13:48] Unknown:
For hashing with ASICs. Bitcoin mining statistics.
