Welcome to another episode of The Podcast, broadcasting live from the Asylum Studios in Eagle Pass, Texas. This week, we dive into a whirlwind of topics, starting with the diplomatic stir caused by Zelensky's visit to the Oval Office. We explore the implications of his remarks and the potential threats they pose, while also discussing the political maneuvering that may have influenced his stance.
We celebrate a significant milestone for our podcast, having surpassed 2,500 downloads, and express our gratitude to our listeners across 30 countries. We also discuss the challenges of producing a show while managing a regular job and the importance of listener support in keeping the podcast going.
In a deep dive into current events, we examine the controversy surrounding the FBI's handling of the Epstein files and the implications of James Comey's daughter's involvement. We also touch on the recent shakeup within the FBI, with the resignation of James Dennehy.
Our discussion extends to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, with insights into the recent meeting between President Trump and Zelensky, and the political dynamics at play. We analyze the reactions from both sides of the aisle and the broader implications for international relations.
Finally, we touch on some lighter news, including President Trump's executive order to make English the official language of the United States, and a look at Texas' judicial philosophy, which firmly rejects the notion of a "living constitution." Join us for a thought-provoking episode filled with insights and analysis.

Alright. Hey, folks. This is Joe Rusciello, and it's great to be here with you again on another week, a Monday night. And we are broadcasting to you live tonight from the Asylum Studios, from the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass. And we are going to do the very best that we can to bring you the best quality talk radio that we could muster without all the bluster. Welcome to the podcast. Alright. Well, we got a long night ahead, folks. Maybe not. Maybe not that long, but we have a lot of ground to cover. We have a bunch of things happen.
Ever since Friday, it's been just nonstop with, with this, this thing was Zelensky over at the Oval Office. I'm sure you guys heard about that. If you haven't, then I don't know where you've been. But, basically, the diplomatic shot heard around the world, And we're gonna touch on that in just a little bit. But a lot of things happened also right here before showtime, and, so I had to change a few things around. So I have a ton a ton of articles that I want them to take you through. And, I borrowed a page from Alex Jones. I wanna show you this is all this all the stuff that I've been reading and printing out for us, for tonight. So it's there's a lot of stuff here.
And then I have a few holdovers from Friday show that we didn't get to, since we had Aaron Valdez here with us in the studio. Kinda put those on hold, so we'll just very, very briefly, touch on that when we get to it. But it's been a crazy day. It's been an absolutely crazy day with the news, and, trying to keep up with all of it has been quite the challenge, especially since, since Friday. Like, yeah, like I said, it's just way way too busy. And, we were talking Friday with with Aaron. You know, I'm I'm doing the show, and I'm trying to do it five days a week. And, it's hard, man. It's hard to try to keep up, especially with, you know, work in a regular job, and then, you know, having, do show prep and all that stuff. But we're doing it.
We're probably gonna skip a couple of days, in the next couple of weeks, but, we're doing it. So, before we get into anything else, with the show here tonight, I do have something really great that I wanna announce, about the show. And, this happened over the weekend, and I am very very happy to announce that we have hit 2,500 downloads since we started the show. I know that might not seem like a lot to, a lot of folks, you know, as other podcasts and whatnot. I'm sure they do a lot better. Here we go. There's our graphic up there. Yeah. I I know they I know other podcast do a lot better. You know, we really are just getting started. Yes. I know we have done 28 episodes. I understand that. But, you know, not really promoting it that much, started more so recently.
But the, the reaction we've been getting has been really good. So thank you so much to everybody who's helped us out with this and getting us to, the 2,500 episode mark. I mean, we're over that already. We're closer to 2,700 now. Then I got this notification on Sunday yesterday. So, really do appreciate everybody that's been helping us out and and listening and downloading and, you know, from wherever it is that you're listening. I was looking at the analytics after I saw that, and I saw that we're the show is being heard in, like, 30 something countries right now. So and that's that's great. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. And, you know, we still we hit some milestones this week. We had 25 episodes, which on our host platform, they gave us, you know, that little similar to what you see on your screen there. It just says 25 episodes, and then and then we hit the 2,500 downloads, and that was that's fantastic. And, again, thank you to everybody who's been, contributing to this and and for for all of you who have been just so faithful and and just checking us out and listening despite all the troubles and the difficulties and the little mistakes and all that other stuff that goes on. You know, we were doing the best we can to bring you high quality talk radio, opinions, guests doing everything we can to to give you a great experience when you're here with us watching the show, listening to it on audio.
So, again, thank you. I really do appreciate you. You guys are great. Absolutely great. Alright. Now before we get into the rest of the show, just as usual, just a couple of quick housekeeping things we wanna do. First of all, head over to our website, joerussello.com. That's joerussello.com. We got that fixed, by the way, this weekend. So, you shouldn't be getting that, unsecure page alert that had been going out. But, that's been fixed. But head over to the website, jorossello.com. Open up that contact form. Send us over any questions, comments, cares, or concerns that you might have, any issues that you might, like to have talked about or any guests that you might recommend for us to try to get, let us know. Just, send us over that message. Use the web form. Or if you don't wanna use the web form, you could always, just email us directly at [email protected].
Also, while you're on the website, look for that support button. Remember that this is a value for value podcast, and all that means is that, we are totally dependent upon you, our listeners, to help support us to keep this whole thing going. We really don't wanna have to go behind pay walls. We don't really don't wanna have to do anything like that, you know, to generate enough funding to just keep everything going here for us. So, what any donation you can make in any amount is great as far as your treasure goes, but don't forget, you could also donate your time and your talent. And, maybe you can write some, some some, scripts for us. Maybe you could prepare some, some overlays for us, or maybe you can run the board for us, you know, remotely. Maybe you could do any of this number of different things you could do to help us out. And, we would really appreciate that. You could always just let let us know through the email, and, you know, we'll get in touch with you and, and talk about it. Also, your your your treasure. Your treasure is your your finances, your money.
We we do really depend on you to help us out. So a donation in any amount is always greatly appreciated. So, you could do that by heading over to our support page, and you'll you'll see a little donation button right there. Just click that thing and, fire it off. You could also donate Satoshis if you are into the cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies, the Satoshis are basically just a micropayment of Bitcoin that, you can send over to us, and and we really greatly appreciate those. We could also, stream them to us if you if you're watching the show or listening to the show on one of the modern podcast apps like podcast guru or fountain.fm or TrueFans.fm.
You can you can check us out on those apps. And if you'd like to, you can stream stats to us during the course of the show. You could send us boosts and boost grams. All kinds of stuff you could do through the modern podcast apps. You should check them out. Also, we have our, monthly recurring membership, clubs or titles that we like to give out. Also, if you'd like to, step yourself up a little bit, you could, become part of our eighteen thirty six Producers Club. So for $18.36, you could, get the Producers Credit. And, again, that comes with the, the shout out, the listing in the show notes, and you get that, that that promotion. You get that Producers Credit. And then for a monthly recurring donation of $25 or more, you can get the coveted executive producer credit. And with that comes the same, you get the shout outs, the note the, the, the listing in the in the show's emails and also in the show notes.
But and this is something that we're trying to work out, and talking with our executive producers about this. We already tried it out with, with our executive producer, Wayne. He came he he visited with us for, for eight days, and, he was on the show. And and, we're thinking about opening that up to anybody who, becomes an executive producer that we could give them a little time, to come on and and sit down and talk with us. And, you know, whether it's remote or if you're here in town, you could come on by the studio and hang out with us in the studio for a little while. But that's an executive producer perk. So three ways to do it, four ways to do it, five ways to there's there's numerous ways you can help us out with the donation. So if you, if you haven't made a donation yet and you're thinking about it, well, get off the fence and, and pull that trigger, so to speak, and help us out with that donation.
Again, we're totally dependent on you to help keep this whole thing going. Alright. Now, that brings us to the Alex Jones store dot com. Now this show is an affiliate of the Alex Jones store. You know, we would eventually like to get other angles on the cameras instead of having the one sitting directly in front of me, and, be able to have our second seat or second chair, without a monitor blocking its face, so we can actually see each other, you know, face to face instead of on the screen here, even though they're right across the table from us.

Alright. Let's see. I feel low energy today. Do you? Do you feel like I'm low energy? I do. I was feeling pretty excited earlier. You know, we had a had a great weekend. You know, did a lot of a lot of stuff here around the house, and, around studio, got things taken care of here, did some painting, did some some touch ups and fixed some of the some of the the acoustics here in the studio, played around with the mics, got some got a new mic stands, for the show. And thank you to one of our donors for for, for purchasing those mic stands for us. So thank you very much. Also, I wanna say thank you to, one of our, donors who, actually purchased a new, a new chair for us. Well well, one new chair at least. And, because I I'd made a mention, that, one of the chairs broke on Friday.
And, so it was kinda it was, you know, a little weird because we had Aaron come and, you know, the chair that that he was using broke and and so it was he wasn't on it when it broke. It broke prior to, so we just had to be extra careful with that. And I had mentioned it. And then one of our donors notified me over the weekend that, they purchased, a new chair for us for the studio. So that'll be coming, I think, Tuesday, and, so we'll have a new we'll have some new equipment here. But that's that's how this show works. Everybody contributes because it's not just my show, it's your show too. And, you know, I I love the interaction that we get. I mean, we don't get a lot with the live chats or the comments, but, you know, people do reach out via email.
And, on on some apps like Goodpods where you can leave comments, We've been getting some comments. So it it so we keep in touch with each other, and we support each other, and it's great. And I and I really do appreciate that. Thank you very much. So we are looking forward to, getting our stuffs all in place, sometime this week. But, at any rate, I think I've kinda babbled on enough. We have a lot of ground to cover here, folks, tonight. So, just wanna touch on a couple of things really quickly that, we were gonna talk about on Friday. So, one of the things that came up was that kind of a washout with the, with the Epstein, files being released. And Pam Bondi, and Kash Patel, they gave out these binders at the White House that, was basically just just the same information that had been given out already.
Basically, it was just, heavily redacted pages, pages of pages of pages of heavily redacted information, mostly because they listed the, the victim information. So, of course, they had to redact that for their for their privacy and safety. But there was really nothing else in there. And, it it turned out that that, that the, the Southern District of New York field office, which, sent the major had had more information at over a thousand more pages of documents that they were hiding and holding on to, refused to send them over and refused to turn them over. And, so that, that that led to something pretty big that, took place over the weekend here. I'm gonna skip on ahead of this, and we'll get right to that. And then I'm gonna go into something else. I wasn't really planning on, going here at the moment. I got a lot of Zelensky stuff to go through.
So, let's see. So the FBI withholds key Epstein files as questions swirl over James Comey's ties to, to, to, the Epstein files. Let's, let's pull that out and pull that out. Okay. There we go. Alright. So, like I said, pulling pages out of the Alex Jones style of doing it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna like this or not. But the, let's see. Where was I? So the FBI is, facing renewed scrutiny after withholding critical documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, delaying their scheduled release. Among the concerns is the potential influence of former FBI director James Comey's daughter, Maureen Comey, who I and I actually forgot this. I I I really did. I forgot that she was involved with this, and she actually played a very key role in the whole thing.
She she was one of the, abstinent. She was one of the prosecutors on the case, and she, she prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell, and, so and she was present at the raid at the, at at Epstein's home in New York. So, very interesting. Like, I I totally totally forgot that until I I was reading about it in the articles here. So the long awaited documents which could provide further details on Epstein's connections and criminal activities were expected to be made public this week. However, the majority of the files remain undisclosed, raising concerns about the transparency in, the investigation.
Let's see. Maureen Comey previously served as the lead prosecutor in both the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. She's also involved in the prosecution of Nicholas Tartaglione, as Epstein's former cellmate. And given her role in these high profile cases, speculation has grown over whether she played a role in the FBI's handling of the Epstein Epstein related, records. So, very, very, very interesting that, that I like I said, I forgot that she was involved in this, and, you know, that that just opens up a whole new world of, of of questions about about what's actually taken taken place here with the files, and why have they not been released or turned over? Why is the FBI openly disobeying?
I gotta lower this a little bit so I can see. Alright. Sorry. Little little computer stuffy going on here. So we remember remember this story. We got the audio. I use a Rumble Studio. I don't mind I like Rumble Studio, but what I don't like is that when you put your clips in, that they don't go in order. So sometimes you gotta kinda scroll through here and find it. It would be helpful if I had a producer here in studio to do this for me, you know, so I don't have to take time to do it and distract from you. But, let's take a listen to, Bondi and Waters.
[00:25:42] Unknown:
See, hopefully, tomorrow is, a a a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot a lot of information. But, This is from Wednesday. It's it's pretty sick what that man did.
[00:25:54] Unknown:
So we're looking today to find out more about why the government's been so suspiciously protective of Jeffrey Epstein. This afternoon, a bunch of conservative influencers left a meeting at the White House with binders that said the Epstein files, phase one. Once the binders were opened, people were able to see flight records and Epstein's Rolodex and a list of masseuses. The masseuses names were blacked out and the information from the flight logs wasn't new, Neither was the Rolodex. When we began to feel duped, Pam Bondi released a letter that says, basically, I was duped too.
In the letter addressed to FBI director, Kash Patel, Bondi basically says, I asked you for the full and complete files related to Jeffrey Epstein. I received 200 pages of documents. I asked if these were all the documents, and the FBI said yes. Late yesterday, I learned from a source at the FBI field office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and the indictment of Epstein. Despite my repeated requests, the FBI never disclosed the evidence of these files. Bondi's demanding by 8AM tomorrow morning that the FBI deliver everything to her office, including all records, audio, video recordings, all materials related to Epstein, and she ensures DOJ will disclose everything.
And she's directing Patel to begin an immediate investigation into why the FBI isn't following orders. So who's in charge at the New York FBI field office? Who's withholding Epstein docs from the attorney general? James Dennehy is running the show there. There he is. This is the guy who emailed his whole staff to dig in after Trump took office. And don't forget that James Comey's daughter is an assistant US attorney for the Southern District Of New York. She worked on the Epstein and Maxwell cases. She's kinda knee deep in this. Epstein was facing sex trafficking charges in Lower Manhattan. Where's all that paperwork?
The FBI seized computers, surveillance videos, banking records, file cabinets, and photographs from all of Epstein's properties in New Mexico, the Virgin Islands, Palm Beach, and in New York. The justice department also gave Epstein a sweetheart non prosecution deal seventeen years ago. Where are those files? The Bureau of Prisons. Where are those files? You remember where Epstein killed himself? I asked Bill Barr about that, why everything seemed to go wrong that night.
[00:28:34] Unknown:
When I first heard all the information and all the coincidences here, I was suspicious. What were the coincidences?
[00:28:40] Unknown:
I mean, those were a lot of coincidences.
[00:28:42] Unknown:
Well, one of the cameras was out. Right. He was supposed to have a cellmate. Cellmate left. They didn't replace the cellmate. And the guards who were supposed to check him every half hour didn't check him.
[00:28:55] Unknown:
My EMT source said he was on the scene immediately to pull Epstein's body out to the morgue. And when he got to the cell, he saw seven people there touching Epstein's body and moving stuff around. Trump did say during the campaign he'd release these files. So it's not like this came out of the blue. Jeffrey Epstein did act as an informant to the FBI. Is the bureau embarrassed? Is the bureau embarrassed that they let hundreds of young victims down? This was all happening right under everyone's noses. Epstein was probably an intelligence asset rumored to be working with the Israelis, maybe this country, probably other countries.
Was he a double agent? He had dirt on everyone and a knack for making cash, and he's dead. So the government has no one to protect but themselves. Epstein victim attorney Jennifer Freeman and former CIA officer in
[00:29:53] Unknown:
Alright. So lot of questions. Lot of questions about Epstein. Now this is, this is very interesting. This is breaking actually, well, a little while ago, anyway. Right before, we started the show, the there's been a significant shakeup within the FBI as one of the top officials have been formed has been forced out. James Dennehy, the, the former head of the Southern District Of New York office has, submitted his resignation well, I'm sorry. His, submitted his retirement papers. He said, in an email obtained by NBC, he said, late Friday, I was informed that I needed to put my retirement papers in today, which I just did. I was not given a reason for this decision.
So, so yeah. So, some some shakeup going on over there at the FBI. James Dennehy, the assistant director in charge of the FBI's New York's field office is out. Head of the FBI in New York quits after DOJ accused him of hiding thousands of Epstein documents. I just heard about that. Alright. Well, well, we'll keep an eye on that thing. We'll see how it's going. Alright. Just, before we get into the Zelensky stuff, just wanna kinda run down something here. This is from Daily Wire. Keeping up with Trump. Here's everything the president did in week six. I like this when they do this. This is a lot of fun to kinda get caught up on. Six weeks in office on Friday. Let's see what we got.
Some of the highlights. On Friday, Trump hosted Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House. The visit was friendly, until an Oval Office meeting devolved into a heated argument between Trump Zelensky and, VP JD Vance, which took place deliciously right in front of the cameras for the American media for the American media and the American people to see.
[00:32:08] Unknown:
I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's gonna end the destruction of your country. Yes. But if you don't know Mister president, with respect, I think it's disrespectful for you to come to the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict. Ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have? I have been to You've come once. I have actually I've actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, mister president. Are do you disagree that you've had problems What? Bringing people into your military? We have problems. And do you think that it's respectful to come to the Oval Office of The United States Of America and attack the administration that is trying to trying to prevent the destruction of your country? A lot of a lot of questions. Let's start from the beginning. Sure. First of all, during the war,
[00:33:01] Unknown:
everybody has problems.
[00:33:03] Unknown:
Even you, but you have nice ocean and don't feel now, but you will feel it in the future. God bless You don't know that. God bless God bless. You will not have a war. Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're gonna feel. I'm not telling you Because you're in no position to dictate that. That's the truth. Remember this. You're in no position to dictate what we're gonna feel. We're gonna feel very good. Feel influence. We're gonna feel very good and very strong. You will feel influence. You're right now not in a very good position. You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position. And he happens to be right about it. From the very beginning of the world You're not in a good position.
You don't have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards. Right now, you don't get your playing cards. Be spread. You're playing cards. You're gambling with the lives of millions of people. You're gambling with World War three. What do you say? You're gambling with World War three. And what you're doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country. I'm with respect to you. Far more than a lot of people said Awareness. They should have. Have you said thank you once? A lot of times. No. Even today. You said thank you. Even today. You went to Pennsylvania
[00:34:15] Unknown:
and campaign for the opposition in October, offer some words of appreciation for The United States Of America and the president who's trying to save your country.
[00:34:26] Unknown:
Now, very interesting, comment there. Zelensky said, during the war, everybody has problems, even you, but you have a nice ocean, and don't feel it now, but you will feel it in the future. God bless you, you will not have war. Now, there's been a lot of back and forth about that. What what exactly was he talking about? Some people have been commenting that his implication was that The United States hasn't done anything to help, overseas, issues and escalations and and such, which is absolute nonsense when you when you really examine that that argument. It was America that basically rescued Europe out of World War one. It was America that basically rescued war Europe out of World War two.
It's America that's been keeping the peace. It's America that's the world's policeman where we have a 90 military installations around the world in other countries. It's America. It's American blood that's been shed. It's American soldiers that have died in the battlefields in in France, in Iraq, in Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam. So if that's what he's implying, I think, I think president Zelensky needs a history lesson. For over two hundred years, America has defended liberty and freedom around the world. So if that's what he was talking about, he he again, he needs a history lesson. And then there are those, and I I I tend to gravitate more this way, that are are listening to that statement, you have a nice ocean and don't feel it now.
Is it possible that that was a threat? Is that possible that that was kind of a dog whistle to let people know, his people, embedded agents to try to stage some kind of a false flag event. Set something off here in The United States, blame Russia, try to get conflict between Russia and The United States? Is that possible? It's absolutely possible, and that's the direction that I lean. I think I think that that's what that's all about. I think that's what he meant by that. Now you think you have an you think you have a nice ocean between you separating you from all the trouble over there, but you don't, it's coming. That's my interpretation of it. I could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong.
Absolutely hope I'm wrong. The last thing in the world that we need is a nuclear conflict between The United States and Russia. Any kind of conflict between United States and Russia. And I think that the president knows. I think president Trump knows that that's a possibility. I think he's been warned by his people. I think his staff is really on top of it, especially in this administration. They seem to be 10 steps ahead of everybody else. So I I firmly believe that that if this is a legitimate threat, then he knows about it already. And I'm sure that the Russian government's aware of it.
Very interesting statement though.
[00:38:39] Unknown:
Here's another exchange. In big trouble. Can I ask No? No. We've done a lot of talking. Your country is in big trouble. I know. You're not winning. I know. You're not winning this. I You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us. Mister president, we are staying in our country, staying strong from the very beginning of the war. We've been alone, and we are thankful. I said thanks in this cabinet. You don't belong in this cabinet. We gave you, through the stupid president, three hundred and fifty billion dollars. You woke up for your mess. Military equipment. You woke up for your mess. Brave, but they had to use our military What about If if you didn't have our military equipment You invited me to If you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks.
[00:39:22] Unknown:
So interesting there too. Talking about Joe Biden, the amount of money that's been sent over there. Let's listen to I just wanna listen to that clip one more time.
[00:39:37] Unknown:
It's short. Your country is in big trouble. Can I ask No? No. We've done a lot of talking. Your country is in big trouble. I know. You're not winning. I know. You're not winning this. I You have a damn good chance of coming out okay because of us. Yes, mister president. We are staying in our country, staying strong from the very beginning of the war. We've been alone, and we are thankful. I said thanks. You have See where he says,
[00:40:00] Unknown:
we've been alone. We've been going through this alone. And president Trump is very quick to to point out that he's not that they have not been alone. That that that America has has been funding them from the very beginning, that the, European, you know, NATO has been backing him up, and the arrogance that that that this man has. It's just the the arrogance. And of course, you know, you have your typical your typical meltdowns, the left melting down. Here's Adam Schiff melting down.
[00:40:47] Unknown:
Joining us now, Democratic senator Adam Schiff of Kavanaugh. So much for joining us. As you heard, the president says The US will not be making, in his words, security guarantees to Ukraine beyond very much, close quote. How do you interpret that?
[00:41:04] Unknown:
Well, this is an effort to pressure Zelensky into giving up something for nothing. And I have to say this on top of the resolution at the United Nations where The United States sided with Russia, betrayed Ukraine, is one of the most shameful incidents in modern history. I think millions and millions and millions of Americans watching this not only disagree with the president, but maybe for the first time are just downright ashamed of the president because we have betrayed an ally. We've not only betrayed an ally, but we've betrayed our principles.
Are we to be nothing, except transactional now? We have no commitment to democracy, no commitment to our allies. It's all gonna be about the money. That seems to be Donald Trump's orientation. But what a sad chapter of our history.
[00:41:55] Unknown:
What do you see, senator, as the purpose of this minerals deal that president Trump is expected to sign with the Ukrainian president Zelensky Friday at the White House?
[00:42:05] Unknown:
Well, I think probably from Donald Trump's point of view, he hopes that this will help get his hands on some of the mineral wealth of Ukraine in exchange for nothing. So what's in it for Zelensky? I have to imagine the only thing in it for Zelensky is maybe trying to improve somewhat, his relationship with this hostile US president who seems so beholden to Vladimir Putin. Frankly, I think it's a difficult errand for Zelensky. He has been really Churchillian in his leadership through these three years of war. Ukrainians have made just tremendous
[00:42:41] Unknown:
I had to shut it off. Churchillian. Oh, California. Why do you keep voting for this guy? Why? And you promoted him. You made him a senator now. That's so, of course, you know, Russia, Russia, Russia, you know, Putin, Putin, Putin. Folks, the purpose of Donald Trump trying to strike up this minerals deal is so that The United States can get some of that some payment back for the the money that we've sent over there to fund, which a majority of the money didn't even get there. So the whole point of that is is to get that mineral wealth so that we can compete against China.
That's the whole that's the purpose of it. It's it's it's not nothing like what, what, Pencilneck over there had to say. And, oh, man. I I found this other clip, but it's it's we're past that point already. It's just a more it's a length much more lengthy clip of, Donald Trump and Zelensky talking. And it's one of those clips that I can watch over and over and over again because I think it's I think it's hysterical. I love it. I I just love the body language on Zelensky. He just looks like a beaten animal at at at that at that point. But, but Zelensky did make his rounds after, and, he went on to, he went to sit down with Brett Baer over at Fox, and, let's, let's take a listen.
[00:44:17] Unknown:
So I'm not hearing from you, mister president, a thought that you owe the president an apology.
[00:44:22] Unknown:
No. I respect president, and I respect American people. And if, I don't know if I think that we have to be very open and very honest, and I'm not sure that we did something bad. I think maybe sometimes some some some things we have to discuss, out of out of media with all respect to democracy and to a free media, but there are things that where we have to understand the position of Ukraine and Ukrainians. And, I think that is the most important thing.
[00:44:58] Unknown:
So, the clip has had to do with the apology, that, that Donald Trump is is telling him he should be making. And, I agree that it was very disrespectful, to try to openly negotiate on the floor of the in the Oval Office in front of the media, in front of the American people to to try to renegotiate a deal that they already agreed upon. So that's that's where that clip is all about. And, which is gonna tie in, in a moment to another interesting story regarding all this stuff. And the question is, did did did did Zelensky actually meet with Democrats prior to going to the Oval Office with the with the president?
And did those Democrats encourage Zelensky to, to to be challenging to president Trump? Is that possible? Oh, you know what? It it just might be. Take a look at this. Wrong one. Dang it. Where'd it go? Like I said, this is the only gripe I have about Rumble Studios that it doesn't mark your, your clips, your overlays. Nope. Alright. Well, I had it. I don't know where it went now. Let me see if this is it. Yeah. Here it is. So, basically, the clip the the the overlay that I'm putting up here right now is, is from an article, where it says Democrats, disaster in the Oval Office, Dembs lead Zelensky, Ukraine off a cliff with pressure to reject the mineral deal.
And, there's actually a New York Post article that's very good that's attached to that, so I would encourage you to go check it out. So, and I'm sorry for all the scrolling through all the stuff here. Like I said, Rumble doesn't let you put anything in order for some reason. So that's the question. Did, did Zelensky meet with the, with the Democrats prior to? Well, apparently, before he did, Zelensky met with several anti Trump Democrats who advised him to reject the terms of the mineral deal that the president was offering, and that comes from Democratic Senator Chris Murphy.
So, you you got it right there. And you can see the article here in, in in, in hot air. Democrats encouraged Lincey to confront Trump. Lincey came to The United States to sign a mineral deal. He even demanded that the signing occur in The United States and in front of the world. The deal could have he demanded that the signing took place here. The deal could have been signed anywhere but the z man wanted to sit down with Donald Trump. Most people have conveniently forgotten that it was Zelensky himself who first proposed a deal like this to tie The US to Ukraine by something other than payoffs to Hunter Biden, and it was actually a pretty smart move. Went straight to Donald Trump's desire to dee to to do deals, and while Zelensky probably hated the hard bargain Trump has driven, he knew that it was the best deal he was gonna get. But something happened on the way to the Oval Office. You know what it was?
Oh, yes. The Democrats. The Democrats sabotaged it. Shocked. Absolutely shocked. The warmongers in the Democrat party intervened and convinced Zelensky to renege on the deal and try to humiliate Trump. They they appear to think that an ambush of Trump in the Oval Office would would, would either force him to concede more to Ukraine than he was otherwise willing, or at least humiliate Trump and give them political ammunition that he used to weaken him as he romps over them. If you doubt that Zelensky went to meet went into the meeting planning to antagonize Trump, Steve Hayward at PowerLine shares a tidbit from from a Polish diplomat.
And it goes on, it's a it's a pretty lengthy piece, but you can go over to hot air, and, you can get this article. It's a zit right here. Zelensky. Great piece. Absolutely great piece. And, of course, you know, this whole thing just progresses. Zelensky went on to, again with Bret Baier, and, everything kinda just flip flopped back and forth. First, he was going to sign, then he wasn't going to sign, then he's then he's going to sign, then he's not gonna sign, He's not gonna agree, then he made the comment that, that Ukraine is not for sale.
Very, very, just off balanced, unbalanced, unbalanced man. This is someone that you have to be really careful with because you have no idea what he's gonna what he's capable of doing. Again, he made a threat, in my opinion, against The United States by by saying, well, you have this nice ocean, you know, implying that, you know, you you might be separate from us, but you're not gonna be much longer, that we can bring it to you. So, that that should have you somewhat concerned. And then not only should that have you somewhat concerned, the the the flip flopping between wanting to sign a deal, not wanting to sign a deal, you're trying to negotiate and embarrass president Trump in the middle of the Oval Office.
Not good. So then he went out to, to, to talk with Bret Baier some more on,
[00:50:53] Unknown:
Do you think your relationship with Donald Trump, president Trump after today can be salvaged?
[00:51:02] Unknown:
Can be. Yes. Of course. Because it's relations more than to president. It's the historical relations, strong relations between our people. And that's why I always began with to saying your people from our people. And this is the most important. And, of course, thankful to president and, of course, to Gong congress, but first of all, to your people. Your people help to save our people. People, the first. Human rights, the first. This is very, very important, and we are thankful and sorry for this. I mean, this. We wanted very much to have all these strong relations, and I very calm that we will have it.
[00:51:50] Unknown:
So, he wants good relations. He wants to do these things, but yet he will not apologize, will not say thank you, at least not to the to the president, which was face. He'll say it, I'm Bret Baier. You know? And, actually, no. If you think about it, he really didn't even say that I'm Bret Baier, did he? He he he was just saying I have said thank you, and I will if I say thank you, and but he he never says it. It's I have or I will. So the conversation with Bret Baier went on.
[00:52:21] Unknown:
America Americans are worried about where the money has gone. Yeah. Will there be a very rigorous accounting of where the money has gone? It seems like Now remember, half of the money that was that was sent
[00:52:34] Unknown:
to Ukraine by the previous administration
[00:52:37] Unknown:
has not been accounted for. And that that's what this reference is for. Amer Americans are worried about where the money has gone. Yeah. Will there be a very rigorous accounting of where the money has gone? It seems like there is some question about whether there's corruption or sold,
[00:52:55] Unknown:
military equipment. No. It's it can't be so. 100 billions,
[00:53:01] Unknown:
we have got during three years. Hundred and eighty three from The US.
[00:53:05] Unknown:
Now, on on the paper, in the documents, yes. But we have, in fact, because, 67 came like a weapon. It's came through the border. It's checked and it's fixed by ever everybody, and we can we got we shared it not once with, with the American side. And Saudi One Point Five, it was direct financial support to the budget. Again, it's very open. It digitalized. It's open, free, and, please, if if somebody want to check it again, we are very, very open with this.
[00:53:46] Unknown:
Where do you where do you open with this? I don't think so. I would like to I would like to see the records. I I would like to know exactly because, you're talking you two very stark contrast there. You have you have, the Doge findings that half of the money that was allocated to Ukraine never made it, and then you have Zelensky talking about how it's all broken down, and it's transparent, and it's open, and anybody can see it. It's folks that this is something that that we need to pull out of. We can't we can't do this anymore. We can't. This is just it's not working.
I I I'm not I'm not an isolationist. Okay? I I I I've been called that many times. I am not an isolationist, but I definitely do not believe that America should be the world's policeman. I do not believe that we should be in a 90 countries around the world with military personnel. I do not believe that, we should be in a position where we're dictating anything to anybody else. I believe in sovereignty of the of the nation. I think that they should that that the problems that take place in in in Europe should be handled by Europe, not America. I have no interest in what goes on over there. You have no interest really in what goes on over there.
Let Europe handle Europe. Plain and simple. And, you know, we need we need to we need to scale all this stuff back. That's why I totally agreed with, you know, I I always say that our founding generation was the greater generation. I do. And then and then this is not a knock on the World War two folks. I mean, that that that generation will is in history as a great generation, but I think that the greatest generation was our founding generation. These men fought ahead for centuries. One of their main it was Thomas Jefferson. No. I'm sorry. It was George Washington who said, peace and commerce with all, entangling alliances with none.
I don't think that you can say it any better than that. That should be our national our, foreign policy. Peace and commerce with all inter entangling alliances with none. We should not be funding any other country for any other reason. It just it can't be anymore. This is the mess that you get involved with when you're dealing with cultures that are different than yours, ideals that are different than yours, goals and directive that are different than yours, multiculturalism doesn't work, globalism does not work. It it it doesn't work.
It just doesn't work. Let's see. Marco Rubio, by the way, in response to all the hand wringing from the left, put on a school, put on a class, up on CNN on this. Now, of course, you know, the liberal media puts it as, you know, Marco Rubio has a meltdown, but, but this is this is I'm I'm telling you, I am really impressed with Marco Rubio since since 2016
[00:57:31] Unknown:
when he ran against, president Trump. It was one of the candidates that ran against president Trump, and, I think he's come a long way. And I think this is great, but, you know, just check out, Marco Rubio. And the sooner everyone grows up around here and figures out that this is a bad war that's heading in a bad direction with death and destruction and all kinds of dangers surrounding it that could spiral into a broader conflict, the sooner people grow up and realize that, I think the more progress we're gonna be able to make. But the president's crystal clear. He campaigned on it, and he's gonna govern on it. And that is he is going to be a president that tries to achieve peace, and he has been very clear. This is a war that would have never happened had Donald Trump been in the White House, and it needs to end. And we're gonna do everything we can to end it in an enduring and sustainable and fair way.
[00:58:14] Unknown:
Now, you know, even Lindsey Graham was impressed. Now I don't I don't give Lindsey Graham any real credit for anything at this point. I mean, I used to you know, when when I was a a a Hannity guy early on in my conservative walk or my political reawakening, you know, Hannity always talked great about Lindsey Graham, and, you know, I would check out the show whenever Lindsey Graham was on. And, you know, I I was kinda, like, on that page. I I kinda liked the things that he was saying. But, you know, over the years, and I've seen I've seen just how much Lindsey Graham is, you know, he's just a swamp rat.
He's an opportunist, and, he senses the direction that the country's going. He senses the winds of change that are blowing. And, he he put out this comment, on on Fox, yesterday.
[00:59:09] Unknown:
President Trump I talked to last night, he was upbeat about the deal. I've never been more proud of president Trump for showing the American people in the world you don't trifle with this man. He was very positive. He was very upbeat. He wanted to get a cease fire. He wants to end the war, and Zelensky felt like he needed to bait Trump, in the Oval Office. JD was awesome. This is a missed opportunity. And the question for me, for the Ukrainian people, I don't know if Zelensky can ever get you to where you wanna go with The United States. Either he dramatically changes or you need to get somebody new.
[00:59:48] Unknown:
So yeah. I mean, when Lindsey Graham is impressed, you know, you're on the right you know, you've done something right. And of but, of course, as we said before, you know, the liberal meltdowns are on the way. Senator Mark Kelly, was talking to, Jen Psaki, and he had this to say.
[01:00:06] Unknown:
Watching Republican Republicans in that Oval Office. But I wanted to start by just asking you about that meeting with Zelensky you attended, attended by a bipartisan group. What was that like, and what was the response in in the private room to him?
[01:00:20] Unknown:
Well, Jen, I think we all have a little bit of PTSD even though we weren't in the Oval Office meeting. Right? I think all of us, you know, a lot of people across the country collectively. PTSD. I, the contrast between the two meetings was quite remarkable. With Zelensky that morning, I think there were about 10, maybe a dozen of us, Democrats and Republicans. It was very constructive. I would I would say one of the most interesting things about it was that at the beginning of the meeting, the chairman of the armed services committee, Roger Wicker, senator from Mississippi, asked the cameras to leave.
Mhmm. And then we got down to business. Zelensky, as he always is, this guy is habitually thankful to the American people, to the United States Congress, to the president. So it was constructive, not a single
[01:01:11] Unknown:
So this they're just protecting him. That's all they're doing. That that's it. They're protecting him because they know that, the money stops. They they lose money, because where else is the money going? If half of the money that that was sent to Ukraine didn't get to Ukraine, where the rest of it go? Well, it's lining pockets. So they're running cover for him. They're they're protecting him. They're doing everything that they can. They're saying trying to protect his image with the American people, but the problem is is that the American people don't want this struggle anymore. They don't want this war anymore. They want out. They want it over.
As a matter of fact, a Harvard poll was taken, in in response to the question, do you want Ukraine to continue the war against Russia or negotiate a settlement with Russia? Sixty One Percent of Democrats, eighty percent of Republicans, and 73% of Independents said negotiate a settlement. A majority of Independents, fifty three percent, backed Trump announcing direct US negotiations to end the war, while 85% of Republicans did. 85, that's that's a lot. Right? That that's almost that's almost, unanimous. And, 40% of Democrats did also.
So public support for ending this war, public support for stopping the funding of this war, it's there, and it's pretty obvious. Democrats are just holding on to not wanting to lose their money. It's all it's about, folks. That's all it's about. Follow the money. Follow the money. Donald Trump is thrashing Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky for supposedly saying that a deal to end the war between Ukraine and Russia is still very far away. Trump said in the White House press conference, news conference on Monday, I wanna see it end fast. I don't wanna see it go on for years. Now Zelensky supposedly made a statement in AP. I'm not a big fan of AP, so maybe it was an incorrect statement, but he thinks the war is gonna go on for a long time, and he better not be right about that.
That's all I'm saying. You know, one thing I don't think Zelensky understood walking into the White House and walking to the Oval Office with Donald Trump is who he was talking to. I think that was a big, big miscalculation on his part, and I think that if it's true, which which everything seems to be pointing to true on this, that he sat down with the Democrats prior to, and they convinced him to challenge Donald Trump. Made a very, very big mistake. Earlier today on Truth Social, Trump said of Zelensky's purported remark, this is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelensky, and America will not put up with it for much longer. It it is what I was saying. This guy doesn't want there to be peace as long as he has America's backing and Europe. And in in the meeting, they have Zelensky stated flatly that they cannot do the job without The United States. Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against against Russia.
What are they thinking? Now if you remember, when Donald Trump sat down with, Keir Starmer, the, the prime minister of Great Britain, didn't he ask him that question? Because didn't he ask him if if if, he thought that he could take on that Great Britain could take on Russia by themselves, and Keir Starmer kind of nervously laughed, didn't answer the question. That's what it is. They need America. They need The United States. Trump also went on and recounted a track record of previous US Presidents and their handling of re of recent Russian aggression. Under president Bush, they got Georgia.
Under president Obama, they got a nice big submarine base in Crimea. But under president Trump, they got nothing. Under president Biden, they tried to get the whole thing. Trump gave them nothing, and the other presidents gave them a lot. They gave them everything. And regarding Ukraine, Trump said, I gave them anti anti tank missiles. I gave them sanctions on Russia. I gave them Javelins or missiles. Putin is one Putin is the one that'll tell you that this has not been so good for them. I gave Russia nothing except grief.
And then this beautiful piece of information came in today. This was, right at Showtime as well that, according to the Daily Mail, Trump pauses all US military aid to Ukraine days after Oval Office blow up with Zelensky as he issues the shock his shock ultimatum. The White House said that Trump is focused on reaching a peace deal to end the more than three year war sparked by Russia's all out invasion of Ukraine and once Zelensky committed to that goal. The official added that The US is pausing and reviewing its aid to ensure that contribution is a that it is a contribution that it is contributing to a solution.
So that's great news. Great news. We should have stopped funding day one. Alright. Let's see. Where are we here? Okay. A little over an hour. Got a couple of quick little things here I wanna wanna bring up, some some lighter news on all this stuff. Donald Trump, signed an executive order to make English the official language of The United States. Long time coming. Should have been done a long time ago. Got that overlay up. Think it's still up there. Right? Let me try this one. I did have a an article. Trump signed an order making English US official language. The order will establish a national language for the first time in the nation's two hundred fifty year history. Trump's order would also rescind former president Bill Clinton's August two thousand directive requiring agencies and other recipients of federal funds to provide services to those with limited English.
Trump's designation will allow federal agencies to maintain their current policies and continue to provide documents and services in other languages, but it encourages new Americans to adopt a national language that opens doors to greater opportunities. Many online were celebrating the move, and I am one of those that celebrate the move. I am very happy that this could possibly lead to no more having to press one for English. Come on. You could agree with that. That's alright. That's alright. Alright. Well, let's see. Let's move on to, some, some Texas news, some local stuff here. Saw this piece, and this is great. This is absolutely great. I wish that the United States Supreme Court would have the, the brass package to, to do something like this.
This is according to, the Texan. The Texan news, the docket is one of the sections in in that, in that website. In Texas, the living constitution is dead. Now, again, you know, I'm a transplant here to Texas, so, I'm not up on all of the the ways that Texas government works yet. I'm getting there. I'm working on it. But I but I thought this was fantastic, and I I had never heard this before. And it's something that, you would think that, that every state should do. Every two years, apparently, Texas law requires that the chief justice of the Texas Supreme Court has to deliver us, a state of the judiciary to the Texas state legislature.
That's a great idea. That should be done in every state. And, recently, Mary Elise Cosgray, who is a, a writer for the Texan, covered the, this, this event and, with chief justice Jimmy Blacklock delivering the remarks for the first time since taking the role over from former chief justice Nathan Hecht. The article here says, the where should I skip to? This is interesting too. Okay. Yeah. So I'll I'll just start from here. So the occasion allows the figurehead, Blacklock, of the state judiciary to let lawmakers know what their branch of government is up to and what they need to properly execute their responsibilities. This can range anywhere from improvements to the law itself and, most importantly, to obtaining funding.
After all, judges don't work for free despite being significantly underpaid as Blacklock pointed out. Now in Texas, Texas ranks forty eighth out of the 50 states on underfunding or underpaying judicial pay. And, what Blacklock did is is he he pointed out how state judges are are are also banned in in a lot of circumstances from, making a separate income. So they can't do another job. They can't work a private practice, while they're in office as a judge. So they're they're totally dependent on their salaries and their income, to whatever the Texas state legislature allocates for them. So, then Blacklock segued from the legislature's responsibility to the judiciary into the judiciary's responsibility to the legislature, and the state. And, and, you know, he elaborated on the guiding philosophy and the judicial philosophy that the high court is setting.
And this is a beautiful statement, an absolutely beautiful statement. It says, quote, the Texas Supreme Court has repeatedly held that originalism originalism that's that's taking it as it was written. The Texas Supreme Court has repeatedly held that originalism, not living constitutionalism, is the right way to interpret our constitution. Hear me say this. In Texas, under the Supreme Court, the living constitution is dead. That in and of itself should make you stand and applaud the state of Texas. Independent Texas. Independent thinking Texas.
The lone star. That, maybe you you might be thinking to yourself, well, you're making so much of a big deal out of it. What's the big deal? It's a big deal. Because you see what people who believe that a constitution is a living document, you see what they can do with it if you look at what they do with the federal document, the federal constitution. They start adding things to that constitution and making it say things it doesn't mean or doesn't say. For example, separation of church and state is not found anywhere in The United States constitution. It's not found anywhere in the declaration of independence, but yet people throw it out there as if it is etched in stone in the cons in the constitution of The United States. It's not.
What is in there is that Congress shall not establish a religion, and Congress will not prohibit religion from being expressed. But it doesn't say that that religion doesn't have a place within government. In fact, it was it was the the majority of, I don't wanna say, instigators of the American were preaching from pulpits. There were many, many pastors that that led men from their local congregation into battle. On, on on the other podcast I was doing, we we spent, seven weeks talking about America's spiritual heritage, America's Christian heritage.
It's a fantastic study. We had a great time doing it. Learned a lot, but it was the church. And it wasn't the Catholic church. These were mostly Protestant and Baptist churches. There there is a difference. We're we're not gonna get into that tonight, different show, but but there is a difference. Then you have people that read into the constitution the right to health care. You do not have a right to health care anywhere in the constitution, But yet it's read into it. And then you have, the whole abortion thing where, you know, it's became constitutional. It's not.
So people read things into the constitution, and that's what makes it a living document. So it so it changes. It it changes with the with the, direction of culture and society and and but that's not how it was intended. The constitution is to be interpreted in the original intent. It's very easy to read. It's not complicated. You look at a lot of the laws that that that congress passes these days, and they're thousands of pages long. The constitution, if you laid it out, it's like 13 pages. That's it. And it's written in a way that it's easy to understand. Now education here in this country is degraded despite most peep most, of the intellectual crowd and the Harvard graduates and and whatnot thinking that, you know, they're improving intellectually. I'm telling you, our founding generation was were infill infinitely smarter in politics, philosophy, society than this generation.
You take a speech written by Thomas Jefferson, And the average high schooler couldn't understand it. Junior high schooler couldn't understand it. But yet, children in Thomas Jefferson's days were able to understand those words and what they were reading and what they were hearing. We've been dumbed down, and it it's, way off. Oh, man. I'm way off. Alright. Let me get off the soapbox there. Let me get off the soapbox. Well, you know what? Actually, I'm gonna make a note, and we'll we'll talk about that another day. Look, I'm not against education.
I'm educated, you know, I went to college, I went to high school, and all that stuff, and I continue my education. I read a lot, study a lot. I like to be challenged a lot, but, today's educational system is just does it's not bringing it's not challenging people to think. It's it's indoctrinating. It's telling it's it's it's telling our children what to think, not how to think. And that's very, very far away from where we were when our constitution was was was, signed, ratified. But again, I'm off on another tangent there, but I would hope that every state in the union would do something like this.
We don't have to say that, judges are not to supplant what the legislature intended by inserting something they perceive as more sensible. Our promise to you is to apply the law you write based strictly on their text. We ask ourselves what words have been enacted into law, and what did these words mean to an ordinary reader of English. That's it. The text of the statute is the law, whether the judge like it whether the judges like it or not, and we are bound to follow it. In the words of an enacted bill, not the aspirations of the bill supporters, or what has passed both houses of the gov both houses and the governor and thereby achieved the status of law. Our obligation is to follow the text you, the legislature, chose or choose, and only the text.
I think that's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Now we do have originalists on the on the on the Supreme Court, Antonin Antonin Scalia is an originalist. The only time that a that a law well, the only time that a court's not to follow a statute as the legislature, wrote the text is when that particular law violates the

constitution,

and then the court's supposed to apply originalism. Blaylock said, the only exception is if that text violates the constitution. But, again, when it comes to the constitution, we are bound by text chosen by someone else. We are bound not just by the constitutional text, but by but also by what the text meant to the people who originally ratified it. Bravo. Bravo. And that's the way it should be? Not just here in Texas, but across all 50 states and our Supreme Court of the American Union. Alright, folks. Kinda went over again. So we're gonna wrap this up right now. Let's see.
