Hey there, folks. This is Joe Russo, and it is great to be with you once again on a beautiful Wednesday evening in the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass. Folks, we are live tonight at the Asylum Studios, and we're gonna endeavor to bring you the best quality political talk radio we could muster without all the bluster. Welcome to the podcast. Well, whole bunches of stuff going on here. A little slow on the trigger tonight. Got a little bit of a late start tonight, folks. I am I am really sorry about the late start tonight. I really do try to keep the schedule as tight as possible. Try to get here for 08:00 and, you know, get started by eight. So I I I do apologize.
I had a, commitment at work, and it's really my fault too because I should have told you guys yesterday. Because I knew I had to stay a little bit later. And I ended up getting I ended up having to stay later than I anticipated staying. So by the time I got out of, the regular job and was able to put together some some audio, some some clips, overlays, and all that stuff, and pull out some of the articles that we wanna talk about tonight. There was just no way it was gonna get started by 08:00. So, we got so we gotta start a little bit late. So I'm I'm sorry. Forgive me. We'll make sure we do better next time, and I'm gonna I'll tell you now that on, March, as it stands right now, we're gonna be getting a late start.
I have another commitment at the job that I'm gonna have to, be around for, so Sorry about that again. But, hey. That's okay. That's fine. We'll we'll work around it, and, I'll do the best that I can to get a show prepared. This way we can kick it off as soon as I get to the studio. And then, I think tomorrow yes. Tomorrow, we have, we have a a guest on the show, so we're not gonna be dipping too much into the usual conversation, the usual topics of conversation for the night. Depends also, of course, on how long we have our guest tomorrow, so we're looking forward to that. We're gonna be, sitting down with, Johnny Taverner, and I'll tell you more about him tomorrow when we get started on the show.
He'll be joining us remotely, and we're excited about that. We were supposed to actually, have this conversation, last Thursday, but some things came up, and we weren't able to keep that, that that schedule, so we moved it to this Thursday. And, so we're looking forward to, having this having this conversation with Johnny tomorrow. And, I hope you enjoy the conversation. It's gonna be a little bit different than we normally would would, be having conversation about. But then again, this is technically an anything and everything type podcast where we talk about, just a wide range of subjects.
And, earlier today, which I'm excited about too because, you know, we'd like I like to kinda change things up a little bit from time to time. So, earlier today, I, through text, I was talking with our executive producers, Wayne and Rosanna Rankin, and, they actually provided some some audio clips, some bumpers and some some intro work for us. And, I didn't have time to to to produce it all, put it all together, But I'll be doing that over the next couple of days. And then by, probably by Monday's show, we'll have some, some new sounds that you'll hear. And I'm looking forward to that. So, I listened to the the the rough cuts already, and they're they're really good.
And, I do appreciate them for, putting the effort in to do that. They actually recorded these, bumpers and intros for us, up in Alaska. They're up there for two weeks, doing some, volunteer work with Samaritan's Purse, which is, Franklin Graham's organization. And, you know, that's that's great work that they're doing up there, and, so we wish them well. We're hoping that, that everything goes smooth for the remainder of the trip, and, we look forward to getting them back here, within the, the Continental United States. And, and and, get, you know, get back in touch with them and get them on the show. So, we're excited about that. We're looking forward to it. So, having said all that, we got a lot of ground to cover tonight. We did a lot of, I pulled up a lot of articles.
I got quite a bit quite a bit of, audio, video clips, overlays, and things like that that we're gonna take a look at tonight. And I tried something a little bit different tonight with organizing everything. So hopefully, you know, fingers crossed, fingers, toes, everything crossed that it goes it goes well. And and I was able to, to label these things, a lot better. This way we could not have so many little hiccups as we were pulling them all up. So works we're looking forward to getting started with that very, very soon. And like I said, we have a ton a ton of things to talk about tonight for between the budget, doge stuff, and just, you know, just politics as usual. It's it's it's a lot of ground to cover, and I got some funny things too that we're gonna look at. So, hope you're looking forward to it as much as I am. But before we do that, just, really quickly, We are gonna talk very quickly about some of the things that we always talk about. For example, heading over to our website, opening up the web forms, using the contact forms, sending us over any questions, comments, cares, concerns that you might have, any suggestions, ideas, anything like that that you wanna share with us, we look forward to getting those things.
Also, if you would look for that support button on the website, we really do count on your help, to help keep everything going here, to keep us, working here in the in the asylum studios. So, you can help us out in several different ways. We have the three t's. We have your time, your talent, your treasure, which is pretty much self explanatory. You know, your time is if you can. If you have any time that you can donate to the show to do some stuff for us, if you have a talent that you can use, like, for example, our execs did did some, said some voice work for us. So that was a donation on their on their, on their part. So we appreciate that. So if you have a talent like that, you can do that. Maybe you know how to work a board, maybe you know how to do, you know, computer stuff. You know, whatever it is that you feel like you're a bit you have the ability to do, you wanna donate it, that's great, man. We appreciate that. We look forward to, to working with you on that. And then of course, your treasure. Now you you could, you could donate your treasure in a in a number of different ways.
You could do a one time donation in any amount. You could just, hit that donation button on our website, and you can make a donation in any amount that you feel appropriate, for the quality or the or the material that we're presenting to you, however it benefited you, however you received any kind of value from it. You can make a donation in kind for that, or you could, also do one of our membership tiers. I tried to give a better word for it than clubs, you know? So tiers, I think, sounds better. So we have our associate producer, which is a monthly recurring donation of $17.76 that you could get into.
We also have our producers, tier, which is a monthly recurring donation of $18.36. And then we have the executive producer tier, which is a monthly recurring donation of $25 or more every month. Now the benefits are these. All three receive the same benefit in this regard. You get your name shout out, on every show, your name is included in all of our show notes, and also in any of the emails that we send out when we have guests on the show. But as an executive producer, as an executive producer, we are offering you, time on the show. So, you'd be able to, to to log in remotely and, join us on the show for a segment, and, you know, sit here and chat with us and have the folks get to know who you are, and, get your insights and your opinions on the things that we've been talking about throughout the course of the show. So I think that's that's pretty neat. I like the idea of doing that, and I'm looking forward to, to being able to do that. We tried it out with, with Wayne when he came down to visit. And, he spent eight days here with us, and, you know, we had a great time, and had him on the show every night. It was a lot of fun, enjoyed it immensely, and looking forward to connecting with him again, as soon as, they get back from Alaska. So, you don't have to come here, you know, you don't have to come to the studio and hang out with us, you don't have to spend eight days either, but you could, you can come on, you can connect with us remotely, and we will have a blast talking about it, every whatever it is we're talking about.
Now also, we also do, cryptocurrency. So you can, on our website, on our support page, there is a our crypto wallet. You could very easily just click that thing, and you can donate Satoshis. And Satoshis is just micro payment of Bitcoin. It's it's really pennies, if you if you wanna look at it that way. But every little bit that we get helps. So, you could do that very, very easily. And if you don't have a crypto wallet, I would suggest you go over to, to, the crypto wallet that we use, which is which is a a great company. It's called GetAlBI. They have a a a a wallet hub that they that they've recently come out with, and they've been fine tuning it. It works beautifully.
I use it, and it's a it's a great it's a great little tool to have if you're getting into cryptos, and they have different plans for it, so so you can either self manage it or you could sign up for their cloud service, and and I I forget how much it is, monthly for the cloud service, but it's it's really not a lot. And they take care of all of that technical stuff for you, so you don't have to worry about it, plus you get tech support. As a matter of fact, we had, one of the cofounders of Get Albi on the show early early on. I think it's episode, five, if I'm not mistaken.
So it's very early on in in the show, and we had a nice little conversation with him. He's a great guy. Moritz Kaminski. Fantastic guy. Super smart. And, you know, he really I think, you you get a lot by listening to him, and also check out his, his product there at getalbi.com. Alright. Also, if you wanna help us out in another way, you could head over to our affiliate site with the Alex Jones store. So you would go to the alexjonesstore.com/joe. That's the alexjonesstore.com/joe. And when you get over there, you could shop a catalog of really high quality vitamins, supplements, and patriotic apparel. Tons of vitamins and supplements on there. I go through them in every show. I'm not gonna go through them tonight, because we really wanna get into everything that we have because we have a lot of ground to cover.
Alright. But you definitely head over to the alexjonesstore.com/joe. Get the get the ultimate irisin moss. Get the turmeric. Get the atomic defense, the optimal human. Get the Shilajit. That's a new product that that they have on the store now, so that's a great great product. I take Shilajit. I haven't taken this one yet. When I finish the Shilajit that I have right now, I'm gonna be ordering, my own supply from the store. So, I'm gonna try it out, let you know how it is. But, if it's if it's even a tenth as good as the Shilajit that I'm taking right now, it'll be a it'll be a benefit for you to try it out. So, definitely give that a try, and there's a ton of products on there that you can get, and, you can get subscriptions, and you get, like, for example, like the Optimal Human. If you sign up for Optimal Human, as a monthly subscription, you get 50% off for the entire time you subscribe to it. If you don't like it, you can cancel any time. And, also, there's only a couple of days left for the giveaway that they're doing.

So, head over to the alex jones store dot com slash joe, and, get yourself some vitamins and supplements and get yourself into the, contest there. Alright. Also, for the folks that are listening right now on the audio feeds, if, listen, if you wanna check out the video, just head over to rumble.com/joerus, and you can check us out there on the web, or you can go to your app store. You can download the app. It's absolutely free. But whatever you do, when once you get to our show, make sure you like, subscribe, and share it with your friends, your family, and your followers. Make sure you hit that notification bell, this way you're made aware of every show that we do, anytime we post something, and, you know, it'll be a real blessing for you. Now, you can you can get the free package, which, you know, the the only thing with that is is you get, the, mid rolls on the show, which rumble and search. We don't have any control over that. Or if you want the ad free experience, you can get, you can sign up for rumble premium.
And, you can get Rumble Premium for as little as $10 a month. So, a lot of options there for you. Rumble is the place to be. We do stream live on on YouTube, but the catch to that is, and we also live stream on x as well, but the catch to that is to also that, usually, at about this point in the show, we cut the feed to, YouTube, and we cut the feed to x, and we broadcast exclusively on Rumble. So, if you're watching on YouTube, if you're watching on x, should probably wanna switch over to Rumble at this point because, we're gonna say goodbye, and we'll see you later. Alright folks, well now it's just us, it's just us, our happy little band here.
And, we're gonna get into some of the stories of the day. Now, yesterday we talked about, early on in the show that, that we were, that that the House was voting on a continuing resolution, that, granted not the best thing. I know that's not something that we really wanted, you know, another, you know, spending bill, but it it was necessary to to kinda get us through until September. Alright? Again, not the best thing. Alright? I I understand that. We don't we didn't want to do this, but this was politically expedient for us to do. It was necessary to do, and so, it pretty much went by down by party party vote. You had one Democrat that voted with the Republicans on it. You had one Republican that voted against it, which is which is fine. It was, Thomas Massie was the, Republican who voted against it. And, look, that and that's fine. You know, I understand Thomas Massie. I I I happen to admire Thomas Massie incredibly. I think he's one of the few remaining truly fiscal conservatives, in congress and, representing the great state of Kentucky along with, senator Rand Paul.
So, you know, you got two you got two winners right there. But, you know, and I understand he took a principled stance on on on his values and and did not wanna vote for it. And that's fine. That that is totally fine, you know. Understand that, and, you know, so I I can't fault him for it. But I think we can all acknowledge that this was not the best bill, it's not the best outcome for us, but a necessary evil, if we could put it that way. Definitely a necessary evil to cut to continue funding the government until we can get the, until we can get to, reconciliation in September.
So we just gotta just gotta work with this. You gotta keep it going. I mean, this is, look, you know, they they talk about the government shutdown. They talk about, they talk about, you're gonna hear a lot of fear mongering. Well, you know, if they shut, you know, shut down the government, you know, grandma's not gonna get her social security check, and Medicare, Medicaid is not gonna be available to anybody, and, you know, the military's not gonna get funding, and, you know, you know, police, fire, law enforcement, you know, whatever. They're gonna run they're gonna run the gamut on it, but the truth of the matter is none of that stuff gets touched. None of that stuff stops flowing.
The the money is there for those necessary services. So so grandma will get her her Social Security check. You know, you're not gonna not get medical care if you go to a government facility. You're not gonna you're not gonna lose your fire department, which I never really understood why they throw the fire department in there. I didn't think I thought fire departments were municipal usually. But, you know, your fire department's gonna get the get funding, your police are gonna get funding. The the the most the the core necessary functions of government will continue.
So for a lot of those people that say, no, let us shut it down, who cares, let us shut it down, you shut shut the whole thing down, we don't want it, we don't need it. You do, you know, it it's and I think that's a kind of a stupid approach. I mean, I've I've been guilty of saying that stuff too. I didn't realize how wrinkled the shirt was tonight, and I just took this out of the package too. Sorry. Yeah. So it's it's it's probably this I've been guilty of saying that stupid thing too, you know, like, who cares? Shut it down. Whatever. But the reality of it is is that it's not gonna shut down. You can't shut it down. And it's it's this is again, it's a necessary evil just to get us through until September.
Come September, we're we're we're looking to, you know, to go through reconciliation, we're looking to, looking to get a a a tight budget, one that is gonna cut what needs to be cut, fund what needs to be fund, no bloat, a perfect bill is what we're looking for, to quote president Trump. So just hang tight. Just hang tight. Let's just work with let's work with this. I get it. You don't have to, you don't you don't have to send me the emails. I understand. It sucks. Not what we wanted, but a necessary evil. Now, there is also the problem with getting this through the senate. Now it got through the house, no problem.
When it gets to the senate, though, it still has to get voted on and approved by the senate before it gets signed. The problem here is is that we have one senator already who is, on the Republican side who is who said that that he's not going to, vote in favor of it, and that's senator Paul, which kind of expect. You know? And again, I had I I have no problems with senator Paul. I I I like him very much. I I think he's great, and, you know, I take a lot of comfort knowing that he's there at times, you know. But, if he does opt to vote down the bill, then we're gonna end up needing eight Democrats to vote for the bill.
And that might be difficult to do. And the reason why I say that is because, Chuck Schumer has already come out earlier today and and said that, that, that, that that he is not going to vote in favor of this continuing resolution. And he says that, you know, of course, the Democrats are are in lockstep with each other, and, they they are going to, not cast any votes in favor of the bill. Now, anything could happen. Anything could happen. But if that's the case, then then we have the issue. The only reason why I don't think they will do that is because then it can be spun that they were the ones responsible for the for a government shutdown.
You you follow me? So even though they're vocal in in in their descent, that they're not gonna vote in favor of this resolution to pass, At the same time, I kinda think they're going to. Again, because they're they they don't wanna be the ones to have that hanging on their head that it was it was because of them, and their neigh their negative vote that the government shut down, and grandma's not gonna get her social security check, and, you know, all that nonsense. So I don't know, we're kind of in some unknown ground here right now, but, but I'm sure that we are going to have, I'm sure we're gonna have, a vote on this very, very soon.
Alright. So that's out of the way. Now, why would why would Democrats want a government shutdown? So this is a piece in town hall. So the good news is that there wasn't a rebellion in the house yesterday regarding the continuing resolution to avert a government shutdown. Republicans won a six month continuing resolution to prevent the government from closing its doors on March 14. Government shutdown will stop the deportations, the work of the Department of Government Efficiency, and the rebuilding of our military. I don't know about that. I don't think I I don't I don't think for a minute that, Doge is getting paid to do this. I think that this is being done on the, you know, I don't I I think they're doing this for free. I do. I I really I think Elon Musk is so so dedicated to this prospect that that, I don't think they're taking any money for this. But it's it's a it's a it would be interesting, though, that if the government actually did close its doors, as like the article says, or shut down as it says, you know, while everybody's gone home to have those still being in a in a in working and still going through all of these agencies cleaning up, you know. So it would be very interesting. But, the real prize is passing the budget reconciliation package. A shutdown will disrupt that immensely.
So, Dosch is why Democrats want smaller continuing resolution, which even CBS couldn't hide. Many Democrats have reservations about the six month stop gap, warning that it would give the Trump administration and and, Department of Government efficiency even more latitude to carry out cost slashing efforts. I'll I'll save it for later. That's because a continuing resolution, unlike regular appropriations bills, lacks a congressional statement of direction on how funds are to be spent by department or agency. Now, another great Republican that I recently come to to to know, not personally, but you know you know what I'm saying, is, representative Tim Burchett Burchett out of, out of Tennessee.
Now, representative Burchett, he's he he he was interviewed yesterday, and he he just flat out says, you know, that they wanna shut down Doge because it's getting very it's hitting very close to home. So let's, let's go to the the the clip that we have of, representative Burchard.
[00:25:07] Unknown:
Congressman, why do you think Democrats are trying to shut down the government?
[00:25:11] Unknown:
Because I think they're trying to inflict as much pain in a political type situation, and that's very pitiful. And, also, they wanna shut down Doge because it's getting very close to home, and they know it. They're getting calls from their big contributors saying, hey, man. We're getting this federal money, and y'all getting ready to cut it off. We're not gonna be able to feed the feed the trough, the campaign trough.
[00:25:32] Unknown:
So that's that's that's I think he's spot on. He's absolutely right. I think that the Democrats
[00:25:41] Unknown:
are
[00:25:44] Unknown:
in a panic at all of the, all of the, the the the fraud, the waste, and the abuse that's being uncovered, not because it's fraud, waste, and abuse, because they've they're on record, saying that they need to trim and cut fraud, waste, and abuse out of the government because, you know, of how much it cost the taxpayers, and and so on and so forth. But in reality, you know, talking out of one side of the mouth, in reality, what Doge is finding is has is what's been lining their pockets all of these years. And and, and and and how their donors are able to get money to them. And, I'm gonna show you something. I mentioned this yesterday, and I I remember I I had seen it someplace, and that's what made me think of it. And, I found this I found it today, and I I wanna show you this. I want you to read it carefully.
Taxes go to USAID. Leftists create an an NGO. NGO is funded by USAID. Leftists in NGO do zero work. NGO pays leftists huge salaries. Leftists donate salaries from NGO to Dems. It's why Dems are freaking over Trump and Elon Elon Musk killing USAID. Okay. So do you follow the logic there? That's the reason why the panic is taking place, because they're being cut off from the taxpayers' trough. It makes total sense. It makes total sense. And, again, like I said, I I just recently discovered, Tim Birchet, and, I'm telling you, I like this guy. You know, there there are some real firecrackers in the Republican party, that, that are really just spot on with this stuff. Like I said, I I I like Thomas Massie. I appreciate him. I I I I I I appreciate his stance and, his, his convictions on on the issues.
Rand Paul, Tim Birchett, you know, even like Chip Roy sometimes. You know? So so, you know, this is this is big stuff, folks. This is very, very big stuff. Alright. Let's move on to, let's see what else. Here's another piece that I got from, Just the News. The blame game. After big house win, GOP looks to put senate Democrats in shutdown hot seat. Republican representatives managed to narrowly pass a modified continuing resolution through the house on Tuesday, putting focus on the senate, as both sides of the hill of the aisle will have to weigh how the public would perceive a shutdown and who will face the blame. The Tuesday afternoon vote saw 217 lawmakers vote in favor and 213 oppose, though it would keep most of the funding at current levels, it increased defense spending by 6,000,000,000, added the sum the same sum for veterans healthcare, and 10,000,000,000 to immigration customs enforcement, and marginally lowered non defense spending.
So that's another that's another trope that you're gonna hear from the left. That this, you know, this bill is cutting, that that this bill is cutting defense spending. That this bill was cutting veterans health care, funding, that this bill was cutting, immigration, that this bill was cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting. I just told you what's in it. If the if they actually spent time reading the bill instead of trying to come up with their little talking points, they would understand. Again, 6,000,000,000 added to, increased defense spending.
6,000,000,000 added to to, for veterans health care. 10,000,000,000 to immigration. So and then and, of course, it says to, marginally lowered non defense spending. So, again, now it has to go to the senate, and has to get voted on there. This this piece goes on to explain that a little bit, that to become to become law, the bill would need to be need to clear the senate's sixty vote filibuster threshold, meaning that at least seven Democrats Democrats will need to support the plan of all Republicans favor it. But, like I said before, if Rand Paul is a hard no, putting the threshold of passage at eight Democrats. And then that's where the blame is gonna come in.
That's where the blame is gonna come in, because either the Democrats gonna take the blame or they're gonna blame the Republicans, they're gonna blame Rand Paul. Sorry. I should be saying something while we're talking while while I'm looking through this. I'm looking for something that I'd seen earlier, but I don't think I marked it. Alright. So I think we kinda beat this issue to a pulp. Would you agree? For now, anyway. See what else we got. Alright. Well, this is some some, some really good news. US consumers get inflation relief as consumer prices rise less than expected.
Americans got relief from inflation in February as prices rose at the slowest pace since last summer. Consumer prices rose 2.8% in the twelve months through February. The Labor Department reported Wednesday slower than the 3% year over year increase recorded in January. So the monthly price month the monthly pace of price increases slowed significantly in February. Overall, consumer prices climbed just 0.21%, the smallest increase since August of 02/2024. In January, prices jumped 0.5% compared with December. Core prices also rose 0.2%, half of January zero point '4 percent surge.
The Trump administration has scored a major victory in the inflation battle with prices in February rising at a less than than half their elevated rate in January by unleashing American energy and cutting wasteful spending. The Trump administration is already succeeding in reducing the persistent upward pressure on prices caused by bad Biden administration policies, said, Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network. Rising home prices and rents was a major contributor to inflation in February. The the index for shelter rose 0.3% for the month.
And, it accounted for nearly half of all, of the overall monthly increase. Alright. So you gotta remember something. Okay? That what's great about this is that even though the prices even though prices have still kind of gone up, it's slowing down. And it's slowing down, and this administration has only been in office for fifty two days. So just a little bit over a month, and we're already starting to see things turn around, and slow down, and, I, you know, you gotta give it time. You have to give it, you can't be so impatient, well the price of eggs is still high. Yeah, I know, price of eggs is still high, but it wasn't this administrate administration's, policy to call a 50,000,000 chickens because of bird flu.
So you gotta give it time. Fifty two days versus four years of of steady tearing down the American economy. So I we're trending in the right direction. This is looking really good. The the, Donald Trump's policies are it's just another win, for him. Gateway pundit. America is healing. Inflation falls more than expected in a big win for president Trump. And, which and this is great too, because one of the things that I love is that when when the administration gets a win, and, media outlets have to report on it. And one of the one of the probably the the most interesting changes and of, that I've seen in this new administration with, with, president Trump is that even places like CNN have to give him credit for the victories.
CNN, of all places. Now in February, I'm gonna I'm gonna show you a clip in a second. In February, prices didn't rise as much as expected, offering some relief to consumers and businesses. Key measure of inflation is the consumer price index of CPI. It increased 0.2%. This was a slowdown from January when prices have gone up to zero has gone up 0.5%. Now, CNN aired Trump's first inflation report and, better than expected, reversing four months of rising inflation under under Joe Biden.
[00:35:14] Unknown:
Let's take a look. Finally, we have some good news on the economy and really the number one issue for many Americans, the cost of living. So we just learned that consumer prices in February increased by 2.8% year over year, point 2% month over month. Both of these figures were a step in the right direction, and both were better than expected. So this is definitely very encouraging to see because it's going to, I think, relieve some fears that inflation would perhaps reaccelerate it because this actually breaks a streak of four straight months where I think you could see it on the chart all the way to the right where the inflation rate was going in the wrong direction. Right? It was going higher and higher. Finally, we're seeing it dip.
[00:35:57] Unknown:
Now during during the the Biden presidency, and of course, yeah. I mean, these numbers are great. You know, the the the the the positive news, absolutely. It they're trending in the right direction, and that's what we wanna see. And again, it's gonna take time for the economy to really turn itself around. It it's it's like, it's like you can't you can't take an ocean liner and have it stop on a dime. You know? It's gonna take time to to slow down, and then eventually to be able to turn. So we have to give it the time to do that, and and folks, if if we're seeing if we're seeing stuff like this after a month, this is great. Imagine what it's gonna be like when we really get into this administration, say, by September.
Just give it six months. Let's see how we are. Now, during the Biden presidency, inflation soared from just 1.4% all the way up to 9%. Okay. Think about that. 1.4% up to 9%. And of course, we know what kind of we we know what effect that had on your pocket, my pocket. You know, you you try to feed your family, go to the supermarket, you buy stuff, you you you you spend a hundred and $200, and you come home with not enough to barely fill your refrigerator. Your energy costs through the roof. You know, I don't I don't have a huge house. I have a I have a small house. It's just three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's because just me and my my dogs. And, you know, I was looking at energy bills of almost $400 a month, which is insane.
You know, food bill just for me and the two dogs was almost $200 every two weeks. Oh, let me take that back. No. Almost $200 every week. Yeah. It was $200 every almost every week, which is insane. And but that was during that period of the 1.4 all the way up to 9%. So I'm looking forward to having better prices. I'm looking forward to seeing my energy cost go down. I'm looking forward to this. And this administration is working hard every single day to do that for the American people. The previous administration wasn't doing it for you, they were doing it for themselves. They were doing it for their pit for their packs, they were doing it for their lobby groups, they were doing it for all those other things at your expense on your back.
This administration is working for you, the American people, for me, so that you and I can have a better life for us and our families, and not have to worry about the rest of the world. That's what make America great is all about. Alright. Let's see what else we got here. Oh, this is interesting. This is very interesting. Folks, before we get to this, though, I wanna tell you about armory one. Armory one is a, is a Texas license to carry program that's run by a great friend of mine named Carl Killebrew. Carl is a thirty year veteran of law enforcement and military, and has thirty years of ex of training of experience in training, individuals for their license to carry, and the safe use of handguns, home defense, self defense, and more.
Right now, you can go to armory1.com, and you can get and I'm struggling here because I have a monitor where I'm supposed to have some of the tags that I can keep the thought going, and it's not there. So like I said, it's always something. It's never it can never be smooth. So so let me let me try this. I know Carl's gonna kill me when he hears, you know, how how I mangled this whole thing. There we go. So Armory one provides Texas license to carry certification leverages over thirty years military and law enforcement experience in in instructing students in the safe use of firearms. Armory one also offers numerous courses on self defense with a handgun, active shooter preparedness, home defense, and much, much more. Head over to armory1.com right now.
Sign up for the classes, and, for every class that you sign up for, armory one will donate a portion of your of your, sign up fee to the podcast, so you'll be helping us out in a very great way in that as well. And listen, Carl's a great guy. He's a great instructor. He really knows his stuff. I I've taken his class, twice, and, I've worked with him. I've helped him do classes. The guy really knows what he's talking about. You're gonna come out of that class so well informed about, about license to carry laws, here in Texas, castle doctrine here in Texas, and you're gonna get some really great tactical information as well. And then, of course, he offers advanced classes, and now you can also purchase gift certificates and use those gift certificates for private range time, for, individual training, and, even purchasing merchandise.
So, definitely head over to armory1.com. That's armory1.com, and don't forget, let Carl know that you heard about it here on the podcast, and again, a portion of your purchase goes to the podcast. Alright. Let's see. So we all know what's been going on with, with, with Elon Musk and the, the vandalism that's been taking place. The left I call a protest, but these are actually people that are damaging his property, damaging dealerships, destroying people's personal properties. I had heard a story, earlier about a, about people getting notes left on their on their cyber trucks and and their Teslas telling them, anonymous notes telling them that they have to they better sell their car within the next week, or or it's gonna get torched. It's gonna get burned. It's gonna get destroyed. And then if they don't do it, it actually does happen.
That's terrorism. That that's being a terrorist. That that that is that is the the classic definition of terrorism. We also talked a lot about the, the charging stations that have been, put under siege and, have been burned to the ground. The, the the dealerships in New York that had got broken into, and the and the vehicles vandalized and damaged in the showrooms. So, I mean, these people are are unhinged. They're they're crazy people, but you gotta take them seriously. Alright? Because they will do harm. They will hurt you. They will damage your property. They will cause you a lot of trouble. So, when I see stuff like this, I kinda, you know, I kinda laugh because I'm just I'm just a jerk like that, but, you know, but this is poetic justice. Trump Hader sets himself ablaze torching a Tesla charging station in South Carolina.
A masked man vandalized a Tesla charging station and attempted to burn it down while using a Molotov cocktail in North Charleston, South Carolina. Ultimately setting himself on fire in the process, the maniac spray painted long live Ukraine next to a vulgar message aimed at president Trump at the scene. The Post and Courier reported that in a bizarre incident that unfolded in North Charleston, South Carolina, mass Trump hater vandalized and attempted to set fire to a charging station, a Tesla charging station, only to end up setting himself on fire in the process. The incident took place near a mellow mushroom pizzeria at, and they give the address, and, has left the community stunned and authorities searching for answers.
So poetic justice, my friends, poetic justice. But the incident did in fact result in an estimated $60,000 in damages to the Tesla charging infrastructure. So and, of course, you know, this is this is just a growing trend among these lefty lunatics, you know, torching everything, burning things down, damaging people's properties. So this is, of course, under investigation and, you know, one of the bigger culprits behind this is that organization called ActBlue, which has been funneling money to these, organizations that are staging these protests these protests, quote unquote.
And and, of course, ActBlue gets money from various sources like George Soros and others that that donate tons of money into these things. So, again, another coordinated effort, not a not a generic or a organic, protest movement whatsoever. So but again, poetic justice, and we we really do kinda laugh at that a little bit. Alright. Let's see. How about, well, let's save that one for later. Some extra some more good news that we got on on the economy. Trump sees manufacturing manufacturing jobs in February alone, and that hasn't happened in a long time. President Donald Trump boasted that The US has experienced a manufacturing boom following the release of the first full jobs report of the second term. Labor department on Friday reported that employers added a 51,000 jobs in February below the estimate of 160,000 jobs made by LSEG economists.
However, manufacturing added 10,000 jobs in February above economist estimates of a 5,000 job gain. During the last year of the Biden administration, we saw a loss of more than a 10,000 manufacturing jobs. That's a lot. A 10,000 jobs lost, or 9,000 manufacturing jobs every single month. Wow. 9,000 manufacturing jobs every month. During the first during the first full month in office, we've not only stopped that manufacturing class, but we've begun to rapidly reverse it and get major gains. Trump said, we created 10,000 manufacturing jobs in February alone, and that hasn't happened in a very long time.
And that is great news. Great news. You see, folks, it's gonna take time to turn these things around, but it's the right leadership that counts. At the, at the address to the joint session of Congress, when Donald Trump was talking about closing the border, and how, the previous administration would would claim that they need legislation, new legislation. And Donald Trump said, it turned out that you didn't need new legislation, you just needed a new president. Well, same thing with the economy, same exact thing with the economy, you needed a new president, and thank God that we got it.
This is another one that I find very interesting and refreshing. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez facing investigation over improper use of taxpayer funds on lavish expenses. Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is under fire for follow for for the follow under fire following the revelation that she used taxpayer dollars to fund her luxury lifestyle, prompting a government accountability group to call for an official investigation into her spending. Americans Republic Trust, APT, filed a formal complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics this week citing AOC's expenditures in her fourth quarter members representational allowance or MRA.
The complaints highlight the the payments made from Ocasio Cortez's office accounts, $3,700 to Juan d Gonzalez, eight hundred and fifty dollars to Bombazo Dance Company Inc, both listed under training. Let's go to let's see. Right here. Alright. Paulie Zipula, said AOC got dance lessons on 12/1324 from Bambazo Dance, made The US taxpayer cover the $850 bill for that, quote, unquote, training. On the same day, there was a third $3,700 payment made to, Juan d Gonzalez for more training. Earlier, 09/1824, AOC spent $3,384.74 for food at Taco Bamba, Shirlington.
AOC pretends to be the be the working American to be for the working American, but what she really is doing is wasting tax dollars so she can dance and throw parties. Now, of course, this post has led to accusation that the AOC inappropriately spent funds on activities unrelated to official duties. House rules are clear. Official's resources must be used for the performance of official business and cannot be used for campaign or political purposes. The watchdog group also warns that, that that the watchdog group's APT that, criminal penalties exist for falsely certifying improper use, including campaign use, of official house funds.
And, of course, AOC responds to the accusation on X in writing, and she said, 100% wrong. None of this is taxpayer money. This is an FEC filing. Be loud and wrong about something else. Try again next time. However, APT, the watch group, argues that argues that her response fails to address concerns, and may even serve as an implicit admission that the funds in questions were misused. Either she does not know the difference between her campaign funds and MRA, or more likely, she knows the highlighted expenses were not for official business and should have been paid for and should have been paid by her campaign.
According to federal law, congressional appropriations must be solely for their designated purpose. Zippula went on to say, for anyone confused as to what this filing is because AOC or her stuages are gaslighting, It's a list of all the expenses the members of congress made using their members' representational allowance. In 02/2024, AOC had an allowance of almost $2,000,000. 2 million of your dollars, my friends. 2,000,000 of your dollars. She spent 1,800,000.0. The vast majority went to her staff of 19 regular employees and three interns. At least one of the regular staff AOC admitted entered The US illegally.
That's Noreen Achter, her Deputy Chief of Staff, who AOC paid a hundred and $45,999.99 and 96¢ a year from the taxpayer to someone who entered the country illegally in 02/2024. AOC has also been exposed, employing illegals as part of her campaign staff, employing illegals, I'm sorry, as part of her campaign staff. So while it's offensive that she's wasted thousands of our tax dollars on dance and drum lessons, it's far worse that she's likely spent millions of our tax dollars employing illegals to work in the US government. So that's AOC, folks. That's, that's the one who goes out there and cries. That's the one who goes out there and pounds her fists and beats the walls and kicks the ground and all that stuff that she's work she's there to to for the working person, for the working man, for the working woman, for the for the for the for the downtrodden, for the ones who are struggling every single day while she gets $2,000,000 of your tax dollars to have parties, have dance lessons, pay illegal immigrants to work for her. Which also raises a question too, if she has illegals working for her, how often, how many times have they been in the halls of Congress, in the Capitol, maybe even the White House?
Something to think about. Well, hopefully hopefully, our FBI director and our AG will be looking into this. We hope. I'm sure they will. So we also been talking about USAID, and and I I mentioned it earlier, and I showed you that little that little overlay there. But, you remember yesterday we talked about USAID has been, shredding documents. It started on, started yesterday morning. They they an email went out, and I referenced the email, but I didn't have I didn't have a copy of it that I could show you, but I have it here. I'm gonna show it to you, right now. This was the email. Good afternoon. Thank you for your assistance in clearing our classified safes and personal personnel documents from the r RB.
The event will take place all day tomorrow, March 11, beginning at 09:30AM. Please meet at the RB Fourteenth Street lobby. If however, if you cannot be there at the time, your badge will be programmed for access to your work area. Shred as many documents first and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break. If you need to use the burn bags, do not overfill and ensure the burn bag can be closed with staples at the top. The only labeling required on the burn bags are the word secret and USAID, in dark Sharpie if possible. If you need additional burn bags or Sharpie markers, please let me or the SEC infosec team know.
And that's redacted for privacy. So, what exactly is going on at USAID? The question we raised yesterday. What is it that they're burning? What is it that they're shredding? Now USAID, you know, they've been they've been under, under fire from the Trump administration, very early on, for the wasteful spending, on international projects that really have nothing to do at all with benefit in The United States. Secretary secretary of state Marco Rubio, announced yesterday that, that that they they shut down 5,200 contracts, that have nothing to do with the national security interests of The United States, that are actually a detriment, or, or or, not in the benefit of The United States, national security.
And even worse, the agency has been, funding, you know, woke projects on transgenderism, and, and even more ridiculous stuff in in foreign countries. Like, for example, 1,500,000 for diversity, equity, inclusion in Serbia. Six Million to boost Egypt's tourist trade. Fourth $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. Thirty Two Thousand for what's described as a transgender comic book to be published in Peru. Two Million Dollars for sex change operations for the citizens of Guatemala. Alright. So you get the idea. Right? Just ridiculous spending, things that have nothing to do with the national security of The United States.
Alright. So President Trump targeted USAID for closure, which then, of course, you know, sent the left into a tizzy because this is where they were getting their money from. Like, I put that overlay up earlier, remember? Remember, taxes go to USAID, leftists create NGO, a non governmental organization. The NGO is funded by USAID. Leftists and NGO do no real work. NGO pays leftist huge salaries. Leftists donate salaries from the NGO to Dems. This is why they're freaking out, because the cash cow is gone. And the cash flow is getting smaller, smaller, smaller, and less, and less, and less. But of course, they attempted to stop all this with lawsuits, And, according to let me see. Where are we here?
Alright. So then that brings us up to where USAID officials to, sent out the order to to employees, to shred documents. Now, while, you know, the the media is full of reports on this, I mean, the the mainstream, it's really not clear what exactly was going on. There's a lot of speculation out there. Well, this is just a normal procedure, you know, because they're gonna be vacating the building, and they'll be, customs and border patrol is gonna be taking over the building, and they'll be they'll be working out of there. You know, is it really a standard operating procedure, or is this something is is or is this something illegal that's taking place, you know, by the by these, you know, USAID officials that are, you know, leaving the building and, you know, trying to cover up all the stuff that they were doing and hide those things. But, it's it's it's not clear.
You know, it's it's it's murky. But apparently, a union that represents workers for USAID, which interesting right there, has asked the federal courts to step in to to stop the destruction of the documents. I mean, it this is ridiculous. And I'm I'm looking at some of the comments on Twitter or x. You know, nobody would incriminate themselves by sending that ridiculous email. Others think this is probably a standard practice. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. Drop a message in the chat. Shoot us an email. Let me know what you think about what's going on with these the document shredding over at USAID. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Alright.
Well, this is actually big news. This is this is pretty big news. The FBI today turned over to, the GOP documents that the Biden FBI wouldn't, including the January 6 pipe bomb case files. The House Judiciary Committee has been trying to get answers for a while on many cases involving actions by the Biden FBI. They previously subpoenaed the Biden FBI for documents in multiple cases and have now subpoenaed the new bureau headed up by director Kash Patel. The the new team responded to the subpoena a week before the deadline given to them, by the committee.
The FBI produced hundreds of pages of subpoenaed material to the House Judiciary Committee related to Republicans' past investigations after committee members said that they had never received them from the Biden administration. An FBI assistant director wrote in a letter obtained Monday by the Washington Examiner to the Republican led committee that the that the trench of documents was related to the FBI inquiries into threats to into threats to school administrators, the pipe bombs discovered near the Capitol on 01/06/2021, and, violent extremist alleged ties to a faction of Catholicism.
They also included material related to the FBI engagement with social media companies about foreign interference in the twenty twenty election. Now, it's gonna be interesting going through all of these documents, particularly, to to see what they're what they're doing in regard to the pipe bomber and the alleged targeting of parents and Catholics. I think it's gonna be very interesting. And, you know, there there were a there were some really, really big questions that were raised about the government about the government and how they were handling these things. And, so there's gonna be some really interesting things that are gonna be found in there. FBI assistant director Marshall Yates wrote to the committee chair, Jim Jordan, that turning over the documents was about restoring trust and being transparent. Yates also appeared to indicate that he would be providing more information in the future.
This comes following a big a big hullabaloo over the Epstein documents when attorney general, Pam Bondi, said she'd be releasing the files, then what they released turned out to be old stuff that had already been released. And we I think we covered that quite quite a bit. So let me see what I have here for you. Kash Patel said this. Our team has been working day and night to produce documents for chairman Grassley and chairman Jordan, and this is only the beginning to rebuild trust. Your FBI will be opening the books at levels never done before.
So this is probably why you haven't seen, Kash Patel going around, making the rounds as the, as the current AG has been doing on Fox News and and whatnot, you know, working on their, working on their social media careers instead of doing what they were appointed to do. Now, look, don't get me wrong. I know that that was kind of a snarky comment to make about, Pam Bondi, but to be honest with you, I I'm I'm disappointed in the way things have been running with Pam Bondi. I, you know, I don't think she's unqualified. I I in some ways, I think she's maybe in over her head with this.
But, you know, I I'm gonna trust her to do the right thing, and time will tell, how things go. But I'm I'm hoping that, I'm hoping that she comes through with with the promises to release the Epstein files and and, and and these prosecution. It would be nice to start seeing some some investigations and some charges coming, on a number of these things that we've been waiting for. And and I know it takes time, you know, it is due process, you know, from somebody who worked in law enforcement, you know, from for many years, I could tell you, you know, the process takes time. I I understand that. But, the people wanna see action on this, and and she's I think she's been spending way too much time chit chatting with Sean Hannity than, actually working on the things that, we sent her there for.
So for what it's worth, it's just my opinion, like her to leave it, let me know what you think. Alright. Now, this is this is interesting. Alright. Carolyn Levitt, who who I I love, I think she's doing a fantastic, fantastic job. And when I tell you infinitely better than, than, Corinne Jean Pierre, infinitely better. Having to deal with the with the press is never an easy thing to do, you know. It it's not the easiest thing not the easiest job in the world, especially when it's a hostile press, and that's what the Trump administration usually gets. So, the, White House press secretary, Carol Levitt, got into a heated debate with his AP, White House reporter, Josh Boke, on Tuesday as he confronted her on president Donald Trump's tariffs.
Now, initially, Donald Trump announced the 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico along with 10% tariff on China, over over their involvement with, allowing illegal immigration and drugs to, you know, just kinda pour into The United States across the southern border and the northern border as well. And, of course, you know, since then, we have doubled tariffs on Canada on Canadian steel and aluminum. Well, the AP alleged that Trump is imposing, tax hikes through tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China rather than implementing tax cuts, like he said, on the, like he said that like, on the campaign trail.
So, let's take a let's take a look at that.
[01:05:03] Unknown:
If we could just step back for a second, when president Trump last addressed the BRT when he was on the campaign trail, his big push was on tax cuts. Mhmm. He's going there today as he's proposing tax hikes in the form of tariffs. Not true. Curious
[01:05:18] Unknown:
The BRT, by the way, is the business roundtable.
[01:05:21] Unknown:
Thanks, Caroline. You're welcome. If we could just step back for a second. When president Trump last addressed the BRT when he was on the campaign trail, his big push was on tax cuts. Mhmm. He's going there today as he's proposing tax hikes in the form of tariffs. Not true. I'm curious He's not doing that. Why he's prioritizing that over the tax cuts. He's actually not implementing
[01:05:43] Unknown:
tax hikes. Tariffs are a tax hike on foreign countries that, again, have been ripping us off. Tariffs are a tax cut for the American people, and the president is a staunch advocate of tax cuts. As you know, he campaigned on no taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime, no taxes on Social Security benefits. He is committed to all three of those things, and he expects congress to pass them later this year. I'm sorry. Have you ever paid a tariff? Because I have. That's it. They don't get charged on foreign companies. They get charged on the importers. And, ultimately, when we have fair and balanced trade, which the American people have not seen in decades, as I said at the beginning, revenues will stay here, wages will go up, and our country will be made wealthy again. And I think think it's insulting that you are trying to test my knowledge of economics, and the the decisions that this president has made. I'm now regret giving a question to the Associated Press. Mary, go ahead.
[01:06:39] Unknown:
Yes. Now I regret giving a question to the Associated Press, and now we understand why. In part, the AP was banned from the Oval Office and Air Force One over their refusal to, the it's part of the reason anyway. Because of of questions just like that, and of course, they were banned from the the Oval Office and Air Force One over their refusal to refer to the Gulf Of Mexico as the Gulf Of America. So, Donald Trump announced his plan Tuesday to double his tariffs on Canada, which is set to take effect on Wednesday due to Ontario's twenty five percent tariff on electricity coming to The US. The The new 50% tariff we placed on all steel and aluminum entering The US from Canada. Now since then, basically, Ontario, Dave Ford, the premier for Ontario from Ontario, has backtracked and walked back his threats to, put a put a 25% tariff on electricity.
And he even went so far as saying he was gonna cut off electricity to New York, Michigan, and Minnesota, but he has also, since walked that back as well. And, you know, that's Donald Trump. You know? Oh, yeah? You're gonna slap a tariff on us for this? Well, we're gonna double it, and then we're gonna double it again. So this is the way you do business. This is why you need a businessman in the Oval Office. Alright. I got a couple more to go. I think we're well, we're already over the hour, so we'll just keep going. Before I get to that one, let me see.
Okay, so we got, I got a couple of fun ones here, And then we'll we'll we'll start to wrap it up with a couple couple, you know, more serious ones. But, one of the things I love about the administration that that, President Trump has put together is the the take no prisoners attitude. Alright. You got you just heard Carol Carol Caroline Levitt. I'll get it out eventually. You just heard Caroline Levitt. Doesn't take anybody's bullshit. She comes right back at them, and that's the way you have to handle these things. Then you have, where did I put it?
Then you have, Doug Collins, the, veterans affairs secretary, basically just take a wrecking ball to a reporter. And what he did, he was having a sit down, with the, sit down conversation with, with military.com reporter Patricia Keim on Tuesday, and, he just completely wiped her out. And when you see the video, I just you just gotta pay attention to her facial reactions. Okay? You wanna talk about a smack down. Alright. Because what he did is he he he confronted her directly about an article, that she wrote that was just full of rumor and innuendo and low on fact.
And but this is how you have to handle these people. This is how you have to handle these situations. You have to come right back at them. You know, the one thing about the media and the and the left is they they got so used to Republicans not fighting back, or or they were so used to people not challenging them on the things that they were saying, and just kinda dismissing it, or just moving on, and, just or just getting some kind of an acquiescence to it. Now, this is a different story. This is a different time, and we finally have people within the Republican party that are fighting back, that are coming back at them and challenging them on the things that they say. Alright? So basically what happened here is, I'll set the scene up for you. They're having a sit down, an interview, and, Doug Collins, secretary Collins pulls out literally out of his pocket. He pulls out the copy of her article, and, he's and he points out several instances in in where she, had written her story.
Again, hearsay, innuendo, hyperbole, and non factual information. Let's, let's let's take a look at this. This was this was this is a master class in how you deal with people like this.
[01:11:28] Unknown:
Got into it a little bit in discussion. But one of the issues that we're having is and it's something here. I need your help on something. I need your help because all I seem to be doing lately is fighting back against innuendo and rumor stories. And this is what I seem to be fighting about all the time. In fact, Patricia, part of it is with you. I'm sure. And I I just need your help because when you start headlines with there's a rumor going around and that we've heard that, that hurts my veterans. That scares my veterans. That scares my employees because it's not true. Will you commit to not doing that in the future?
Well, there was a Doge representative that day. I have a VA employee who is our Doge liaison. You knew that, and you could ask that question. I did ask that question. But when you and you got the answer. But my question here is, I need you to commit to not starting off rumors began circulating. I mean Well, if it's either it's either true or false, Patricia. And then you go to Patty Murphy saying that we've heard and we have made Doge may have barged into the VA today. Unconfirmed hearsay. You know what you'd have done if I was a member of congress and probably done that? Unconfirmed report. But you didn't put an unconfirmed report. Right. So, Tristan, I wanna work together with you. Okay.
[01:12:39] Unknown:
But I need you to commit to me that you're not gonna do this. I'm working on it, and I have, I have been oh, actually, I have another question based on that. Thank you very much.
[01:12:48] Unknown:
No. I wanna hear the answer first. Are you committing not to do rumors? Because you're scaring my VA employees about this. That's fair. And you're scaring my veterans. Yeah. I That's that's not a that's not a, something I tell you about. A rumor is different than if I have a source. Then you source it to our our p our PR people and let them know because you know something? I've got people who are reporting stuff right now who aren't even calling us. They don't even get an they don't even get something from they don't even call us to check it. Well, that's not right. Well, this isn't right either. Okay. Well, that's fair. But I did call about that. Good. I did call about that. And you got the answer, but yet you still report it as a rumor. Well, I didn't Okay. I Which is it? Which is it? Is it a rumor, or does he get confirmed? Was that there was a there is a Doge person there. There is. He okay. Nobody said nobody has heard that from you. Nobody. We answered it, but it was reported as a rumor. I mean, because he talked about this. Issue with And and parsing out price tag. In the in the headline of the story I don't write that down. Elon Musk, hey. I don't care who voted. You're you're you're I know. I know. But you're my line. You're my line. To push back on those, and I know. But just think about what it says here. Elon Musk aid is now working at VA accessing computer systems. Oh. And I I mean, that's all on the true statement. No. I mean, it is. Because you know what? We don't make them look we don't make a a a a Doge employee, which is funny because they're VA employees, a liaison. We don't also give them a I was not told that. We don't give I was not told that you liaison it. You wrote the article. With a Doge employee, one Doge employee. As we look at this, Patricia, I want you to know something.
When you look at this headline and you're accessing computer system, I wanna work with you a lot as we go forward. We have a lot of time together. That's fair. But I'm not gonna have any reporter scaring my employees and scaring phone, scaring the veterans. And that's what this is doing. Let's get it right. I'm on I'm the most transparent VA secretary we've had yet. I'm on video. I'm on interviews. I do everything I possibly can to push back against everything up here. So we got a team that will help you, but I need your commitment to help me too. Okay?
[01:14:55] Unknown:
Boom. That's how it's done. That's how it's done, and that's how you have to handle that. He just I think he was firm, he was respectful, and he laid it he laid out his argument. I think that was fantastic, and that's the way you handle these people. You have to. You have to. And did you just did you notice her body language? I mean, she looked like she was gonna throw up. She kept on going back to, well, that's fair. That's fair. I'll do that. That's fair. I'll do that. No one told me that. Well, did you did you ask? That is awesome.
Love that. That's great. Alright. And then we have, let's see. So we have Carolyn Levitt. We have, Doug Collins. Let's see what else we got. Okay. Yeah. We'll do this one. It is no secret to anybody if you've been listening for for any short period of time that we've been doing the shows, you know that I am a huge Tom Homan fan. As as a matter of fact, I I in a lot of ways, I wish Tom Homan was was appointed our AG. I mean, that would have been, that would have been a rip because at with with the the amount of work that this man has been doing, could you imagine if he was the AG? Oh, my goodness.
Well, on Wednesday, today, Tom Homan, headed to New York, to speak at the capitol, up in Albany, and, he went up there to talk to the, he went up there to talk to them about, especially the Democrats, because, you know, New York is this state legislature is predominantly Democrat. Talking about their pro illegal migrant policies. New York's green light law, we talked about that at in one of our earlier shows, which now that New York the green light law, which used to be called the, the driver's license access and privacy act. Basically, what it does is it allows illegals, to apply for driver's license without proving without providing any social security number, or, any other supporting documentation. So it allows basically undocumented migrants to, to apply for these things.
The law also restricts, the DMV in New York, from sharing that data with US immigration and customs enforcement. So, now, Pam Bondi has filed lawsuits, or she announced anyway last month a lawsuit, it, against New York over their immigration enforcement, especially the green light law. Now, while up there in Albany, he's, Tom Hommas is gonna be speaking to, assembly Republicans, about efforts to push back on New York's sanctuary city policy. In February 2024, GOP lawmakers introduced a bill, among others, that would require local and state law enforcement to notify ICE when an arrested person or defendant is not a US citizen. Holmes is not expected to meet with Governor Hochul.
She canceled the scheduled lump scheduled lunch with Trump following Bondi's announcement. And, in, 02/2017, former governor Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order that effectively designated New York as a sanctuary state, and tied the hands of law enforcement. Now, what I love about this, this clip I'm gonna show you is this is Tom Homan, you know, going into the capitol in, in Albany, New York, and, could being confronted by a number of hostile, protesters. Of course, he's surrounded by New York State Police, and and and his own security detail, and and such. But I just want you to just look at this guy. I mean, he doesn't give a flip.
He's just walking through there, and he is just munching on an apple. Take a look.
[01:19:02] Unknown:
No fear. In the midst are welcome here. No hate. No fear. In the midst are welcome here. A little smirk on his face.
[01:20:16] Unknown:
Ladies and gentlemen, you're a lunatic left. You're a lunatic left. Well, you see, yeah, that that's the way he does it though. He doesn't give a crap. He just he's there to do a job, that's it. Doesn't make a difference, what anybody has to say about it. He knows what his job is. He knows where where what he's supposed to be doing, and he's following the directions of the president of The United States. So love that. I think that's great. Alright. And the the last fun moment that we're gonna point out here, this was just epic. Just absolutely epic.
So, there was a congressional meeting today, Tuesday, where they they ended up describing the meeting as, all hell just broke loose. And, that that came about after how do I I don't know if you hear that, but that's Charlie crying at the door here. I've been in here too long, so he's freaking out. But, but all hell all hell broke loose is is basically how this meeting was described after a US representative introduced a fellow member of Congress who's transgender by his original gender. Let's, let's let's roll the let's roll the video here.
[01:21:56] Unknown:
Thank you, madam chair. Ranking member Keating also wonderful. Mister chairman Sorry. Could you repeat your introduction again, please?
[01:22:03] Unknown:
Yes. It's a it's a we have set the standard on the floor of the house, and I'm simply
[01:22:11] Unknown:
What is that standard, mister chairman? The standard. Repeat what you just said when you introduced a duly elected representative from The United States Of America? Please. I will.
[01:22:22] Unknown:
The representative from Delaware, mister McBride.
[01:22:25] Unknown:
Mister chairman, you are out of order. Mister chairman, have you no decency? I mean, I I've come to know you a little bit, but this is not decent. We will continue this You will not continue it with me unless you introduce a duly elected representative the right way.
[01:22:44] Unknown:
This hearing is adjourned.
[01:22:50] Unknown:
Now, I don't know if you heard it in the very beginning, so I'm just gonna play it really quickly from the beginning.
[01:22:56] Unknown:
I now recognize the represent
[01:22:59] Unknown:
Thank you, madam chair.
[01:23:01] Unknown:
Right team. That's why you didn't okay. Something happened to the video there. Sorry about that. But, basically, the the chairman of the committee there announced, introduced, said the following. He said, as representative Keith Self, he said Self, he said, I now recognize the representative from Delaware, mister McBride. And then, mister McBride responded, you know, snarkily. You and you heard that and said, thank you, madam chair. Now, the representative they're talking about, goes by the name of Sarah McBride, but it was actually born as Tim McBride. And, when and and, of course, you saw what what had just happened there. Would you repeat what you just said when you introduce a duly elected representative in The United States Of America, please?
What I love about this though is mister Self just while, Keating was pounding his fist on the desk and, you know, having that moment of just feigned what's the word? Outrage. Feigned out. I say feigned because it looked so fake. Like, I don't think he really gave a crap. Just took an opportunity to stand, make a grandstand. So when mister Keating was pounding the desk and just representative self just stared at him. Look, watch. Didn't take his eyes off him the whole time.
[01:24:37] Unknown:
Thank you, madam chair. Ranking member Keating also wonderful This is our chairman. Could you repeat your introduction again, please?
[01:24:45] Unknown:
Yes. It's a it's a we have set the standard on the floor of the house, and I'm simply
[01:24:52] Unknown:
What is that standard, mister chairman? The standard repeat what you just said when you introduced a duly elected representative from The United States Of America? Please. I will.
[01:25:03] Unknown:
The representative from Delaware, mister McBride.
[01:25:07] Unknown:
Mister chairman, you are out of order.
[01:25:10] Unknown:
And then, of course, it'll degenerate it from there. So, mister self, I applaud you sir. I applaud you sir. This has to be probably some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a long time. Well, at least today, anyway. And then, of course, the, the memes and the, Twitter posts that followed were equally hysterical. Roses are red, violets are blue, I have a wiener, and so do you. So on the left, that's Tim McBride, and on the right, that's Tim McBride two point o. So, yeah, I thought that was kinda funny. I wanted to share that with you guys today. I'm sure you're gonna see it all over the place. But, of course, you know, again, I, you know, mister Self did the right thing there. You know? Somebody commented, on on x here. It says, where was it?
It's mister Tim McBride. They need to stop playing pretend. Mister Bright is the correct way to address a biological male. Keith's self deserved medal of honor. Medal of honesty. He's a dude. I know it. Y'all know it. He knows it. Everyone in the room knows it. His constituents know it. Hard to believe. We're in a timeline where you get accused of being out of order for calling a man a mister. Excellent. We need to stop dancing around this mental illness. Representative Keith Self is legend for this. So, this is some of the comments that you see up on x there. So that was that was funny. I like that. That was funny.
Alright. Let's see what else we got. Okay. So last one for the night, has has sensor. A couple of them there. That worked. I don't mean sensor like they're they're bad. I just meant like sensor like a try to wrap this thing up for us here tonight. So, today, Kash Patel, our FBI director, has, announced, that a, that charges have been filed against a high ranking CBP official in a FEMA fraud, in a FEMA fraud scheme. Let's see what that is. There we go. So today, following efforts with our interagency partners that can report that a career director level employee at US Customs and Border Protection have been charged with allegedly attempting to defraud FEMA as well as line federal agents. This is part of the this is part of the new FBI's renewed efforts to crack down on public corruption and deliver accountability for the American people. Justice will be done thanks to our partners, so on and so forth.
Not that one. Sorry. And we have this here.
[01:28:23] Unknown:
The Fox News have heard it's a breaking news from the FBI. Director Kash Patel posting on social media that a high ranking official at customs and border protection is facing criminal charges.
[01:28:35] Unknown:
Patel saying, quote, a career director level employee allegedly attempted to defraud FEMA and allegedly lied to federal agents in the process.
[01:28:46] Unknown:
So Kash Patel, took to x on Wednesday to announce a major breakthrough in the fight against public corruption. Following efforts with our interagency partners, I can I can report that a career director level employee at US Customs and Border Protection has been charged with allegedly attempting to defraud FEMA, as well as line of federal agents? Serena Baker Hill, fifty five, a Detroit based CBP bigwig overseeing the Center for Excellence and Expertise over Automotive and Aerospace Engineering. Thought she can pull a fast one on hardworking American taxpayers. According to a freshly unsealed federal complaint, Baker Hill exploited a federal disaster declaration after floods hit Michigan in August 2023.
She applied for FEMA aid, claiming her basement was damaged and that she couldn't live in her home while repairs were underway. FEMA, trusting her word, handed over cash for her home repairs and two months of rental assistance to cover temporary housing costs. However, she didn't use a dime of that money for rent, hotels, or utilities. Bank records exposed her scheme, where she pocketed the funds while cozying up in her supposedly unlivable home. Video surveillance even caught her and her husband living there like nothing was wrong, and utility records show no drop off consisting with an empty house. When questioned by federal agents from the FBI's and CBP's Office of Professional Responsibility, Baker Hill maintained her innocence asserting she had never committed fraud or any legal activity against the government.
FBI's Detroit Border Corruption Task Force, CBP OPR, and the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General jointly conducted the investigation. And assistant US attorney, Eaton p Brown, is prosecuting the case. Officials emphasized that the criminal complaint represents allegations only, and Baker Hill remains innocent until proven guilty. Upon completion of the investigation, prosecutors will determine whether to pursue felony indictments. Alright. So, good news right there. Another another, another high level management, high ranking official found trying to defraud the government stealing your tax dollars.
