Welcome to another episode of The podcast., broadcasting live from Asylum Studios in Eagle Pass, Texas. Tonight, we reflect on last night's insightful conversation with Jack Kammer, focusing on the alarming suicide rates among men and the importance of addressing mental health issues.
Looking ahead, we're excited to host Aaron Valdez, a mayoral candidate for Eagle Pass, who will join us in the studio to discuss his campaign and vision for the city. While we don't endorse candidates, Aaron's ideas have sparked our interest, and we're eager to hear more.
In podcast news, we're expanding our reach with new merchandise available on our Rumble channel and launching a YouTube channel to stream portions of our show. Our commitment to free speech remains strong, with Rumble as our primary platform.
We delve into national news, discussing President Trump's proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico, aimed at combating drug trafficking and boosting the U.S. economy. We also explore Trump's workforce reduction initiative, highlighting the need for government efficiency.
In a significant move, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has tightened restrictions on food stamp access, limiting benefits to American citizens and legal migrants. This decision aligns with Trump's executive order to end taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens.
We also touch on the controversial release of Jeffrey Epstein's documents, expressing disappointment over the limited information provided. The call for transparency continues as we await further disclosures.
Finally, we discuss the ongoing investigation into former FBI Director James Comey for alleged surveillance of Trump's 2016 campaign, emphasizing the need for accountability in government actions.

Welcome to the podcast where every episode promises an unfiltered dive into the eclectic, the profound, and sometimes the absurd. No topic is off limits. Nothing is sacred, and political correctness takes a back seat. Hey, folks. Welcome to a beautiful Thursday night here in The Pimple on the back side of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass, and we are striving tonight to bring you the best quality talk radio we could muster without all the bluster. This is Joe Rusciello, and welcome to the podcast. And, folks, as always, we are coming to you live tonight from the Asylum Studios, and we are looking forward to getting into tonight's show.
We're gonna do the best we can not to stick around for, over two hours tonight. We're gonna try. I don't know if we'll succeed in that endeavor, but we are most certainly and most definitely going to try. But, for those of you who were here last night and, caught the show, with Jack Kammer. Jack Kammer. Sorry. Jack Kammer. And I have a problem saying it because it sounds like a joke. It really does. But that's that's the guy's real name, Jack Kammer. Jack Kammer. You know? So, like, we we talked about it last night a little bit. I told him, I said, I wasn't sure if that was a legit thing or not, but, hey. You know what? That was him. It was his name.
And, good show last night. Really good show. I I I I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation that we had with Jack. And there's a lot of information in there that, that needed to get out there, especially, you know, I I was I was I was talking about it earlier about the suicide rates that that we were talking about on the show last night, and it just it staggers my mind to think about that. That, that that men in my age group are, twenty nine point seven out of every one hundred thousand men in my age group commit suicide.
That just that just astounds me. It it really does. It it I I I really I had a hard time with that one, and and I haven't thought about it quite a bit, after the show last night and going into today because, you know, I've had moments in my life where, you know, I've I've contemplated the idea, and, you know, thank the Lord it didn't happen. I you know, it's only by God's grace that I'm still around here and, doing this stuff, but, and I wanna start the show off on a downing note a downer note here, man. You know, serious conversations. But, it was a great show last night. I really, really thought it was fantastic. And, a lot of the comments that I received, via email, after the show and into today was were were really encouraging, and, I really appreciate that. And everybody who who, was able to jump in there and and, and watch the show live, thank you so much for, for being there and watching the show with us. And, thank you for, for interacting with us through the live chat.
That was really that was great. I was hoping to get more people involved in the conversation, but, hey, you know what? We're a new channel. We're just getting started here with the show. We have a small footprint right now, but I'm pretty confident that, you know, if we keep on putting out quality content, we'll we'll start bringing folks in, and, you know, we'll do something good. We'll do something really good here. So really excited about what's coming down the road. Now, coming up, this week, well, this week's almost over, but tomorrow, we're gonna have, Aaron Valdez, the, the, candidate for one of the candidates for mayor here in the city of Eagle Pass. He's gonna pop on to the show tomorrow. We're gonna have him here in studio, and, he'll hang out right across the way from me there in the in the number two chair.
And, we're looking forward to to having Aaron back, and we had him back, when he first kicked off his campaign, which was which was huge, and we really appreciate Aaron coming. And, he's gonna he's gonna be here again tomorrow. We're gonna get an update on the campaign and how things are going. And, I'll tell you, you know, I I don't I don't endorse candidates or at least I haven't endorsed candidates, on the show in the past. But, you know, if I don't know, man. I'm listening to listening to Aaron talk about some of the things that he's talking about, you know, I'm kinda leaning. I'm kinda leaning, which which which scares me to no end because I'll be honest with you.
You know, I I have never crossed the party line, in an election cycle, but, you know, I'm I'm I'm really considering it at this point. Aaron is is a a conservative, I guess, Democrat, And, but, I I like what he's talking about. I've listened to his, his opponents, and I I don't necessarily agree with, some of the things that they're they're talking about. And, I have reached out, to, one of his opponents to, come on the show and let's talk some things out, but, they have yet to respond to to that request other than just the typical somebody from our team will be in touch. So, we'll see what happens, hopefully, you know, before the election starts. I think early voting starts, March 4, if I'm not mistaken.
So if you're here in Eagle Pass and you're, you're, one one of those folks that like to get out there and vote early, I believe it's starting in, March 1. I'll double check that for you tomorrow and have that updated for you tomorrow by the time, we get get started with the show. But, you know, we are just really excited about the things that that we see coming down the road here with with the podcast. So many different things going on. We've we've made so many changes to the way we operate and the way we, we put the show together and and the way our setup here is. And, and I hope that you can see the differences from when we first started to where we are now.
We're not perfect. We're not gonna be perfect, and that's okay. We'll we'll get there eventually, but as of right now, I think we're doing pretty good. I think we're doing pretty good. One of the things that we are, that we have recently added to our arsenal here at the podcast is merch. So we have a a little button on our Rumble channel, that says shop. You can click that button, and we only have a couple of things up there right now, but you could definitely check that out. And one of the things we have up there right now is this beautiful podcast, the podcast t shirt that you can get. It's available to you up there. I think it's, like, $25 for the t shirt. And we have sticker packs, and, I don't have one of the stickers with me, but, I'll have one for you tomorrow. I have them stuck all over the place, but I can't turn the camera around.
So so, you know, we'll have the we'll have the sticker for you to show you tomorrow, or you can just go to, our Rumble channel. Just click the shop button, and you could see it right there. Also, I'm gonna put a link up on the website for it, as soon as, probably this weekend. And once we get that link up there, you'll be able to go to our website and see it. Or if you wanna be daring, you can go to stickermule.com/rooz, r 0 0 z. Sticker mule Com / rooz, and you could check out the, the merch that we have up there. I have a few ideas for some t shirts that are coming down the road, so hopefully, we'll be able to get those put together, really really soon, and, and get them up in the shop there. And, you know, I kinda floated a few ideas around about the show, about the shirt with some of the folks I I know around here, and, you know, they thought it was pretty funny, and they thought it'd be, that's why I was thinking, oh, maybe I could put on a t shirt. Oh, yeah. That'd be great. Put on a t shirt. Alright. Cool. Yeah. I'll put on a t shirt. Are you gonna buy it? Oh, well, I don't know.
Yeah. I'll see. Depends on how much it is. So I try to keep it as as as low cost as possible, and, I will tell you this that the the quality of the shirt is is is really good. I I it's very comfortable to wear, and, I have a couple of shirts right now that I I put into a wash that will let you know how they wash, and hopefully, they they stay together. You know. If not, then we'll figure something else out, but I digress. But, so we got a we got a packed show for you tonight. I know it's a Thursday night. We have a a lot of things taking place here, in the news that, we wanna cover.
So, let's see. I got I got a lot here. I don't know if we're gonna get to all of it. I really wanna try to keep the show to an hour tonight, so, you're gonna have to help me out. Another thing that we're that we're, working on right now is, I I I caved in and I I started a, a YouTube channel for the show. And, we were going to stream to it tonight, but, when I tried to make the connection with it right before the show started, it worked earlier. But when I tried to do it right here before the show started, I got, connection failed. So, we'll work that out. But you see, we're not gonna be broadcasting the whole show on on YouTube. Alright? Because we believe in free speech here at the podcast. And so our our home and host platform for the video show is Rumble, and, we're gonna stay with Rumble as our primary. We're not going anywhere. We're never gonna switch out of Rumble.
I don't think any I don't think another company can come along that can, unseat Rumble in the amount of, of of the care they take for to nurture free speech and and, for all the, investment that they're putting into free speech. Remember, Rumble was the only place that gave, president Trump a platform when, he was locked out of Twitter and Facebook and YouTube and and all the other, you know, mainstream, social media platforms. Rumble didn't shut him down. Rumble still had him up. Rumble took care of it. And, Rumble's the same. Where Rumble does not back down from a challenge. France said, you need to do you need to kick this person off the off off your channel, and and Rumble said, no. And they backed themselves out, and they stopped streaming to that country, whole country, You know? So, Rumble does not play games, and I think that I think leadership at Rumble does a great job. And, you know, I I have to say it all the time, full disclosure, I am a shareholder in Rumble. Not a lot. You know, I don't have a lot of invested in it, but I do have, a fairly decent amount invested in Rumble, and, I wouldn't invest in it if I didn't believe in it. So, it's a great platform. We're really happy here, and, we're not gonna go anywhere else.
But we're gonna use YouTube, and what we'll do is on YouTube, we'll we'll maybe we'll maybe stream twenty minutes of the show, you know, something like that. I don't know. We'll figure that out, once we get the stream working again. But, you know, we'll stream a portion of the show, and then, and then that's it. We'll cut them off and tell them if they wanna see the rest of the show, they're gonna have to come over, hit a rumble. And that's the way we're gonna work it, whether they like it or not. If you don't like it, don't watch. Plain and simple.
Now let's see. So before before we get into, the the news of the day, the usual stuff just to remind you of our website, joerussello.com. That's joerussello.com. It should be up on your screen momentarily. So just head over to that website and open up the contact form. Send us over any questions, comments, cares, concerns that you might have. Also, if you don't like to use the web form, totally cool with me. Always email me at [email protected]. Also, while you're on the website, check out our support page, and remember that this show is a value for value podcast. And all that basically means is that, if you've received anything of value from what we're doing, any of the shows that we put out, we're asking that you return that that we're asking you that you return that value in the form of a donation. Now you can donate your time, your talent, your treasure. Alright? Any one of those three things or all three of those things, however it however much value you feel you've received from us, we're asking you to return it in that same way. So, when I talk about donating your time, maybe you can help us out doing research, maybe you can help us out putting putting show notes together, building, you know, building a sound board or or anything like that.
Perhaps, you're maybe you have a talent. You can write music. Maybe you could read a script really well. Maybe you have a good voice for it. Maybe you could do voiceovers for us. Maybe you could, sing for us. Do something, you know. Using the talents that God has blessed you with, you could donate that to the show as well. And you, of course, you could always donate your treasure. Your treasure is, of course, your money. Now you could either make a one time donation in any amount, and we appreciate those. They are they they are great, and they're really encouraging when we get them, or you could set up a monthly recurring donation, and we have three levels of that.
Okay. You could set up a monthly recurring donation of $17.76, which, gets you the associate producer's title. Now, with the title, you get a shout out on every show. You get included in all the show notes as they go out. You get listed in our email notices, when we go out about, our guest shows especially. So so you get that you get that perk and benefit. For $18.36 a month as a monthly recurring donation, you get the producer's credit. So it's a little bump up, little bump up in title, and you get the same perks. You get all the announcements. You get, get the shout outs at the end of the show. You get included in all the show notes and in the emails as well. And then we have the executive producers level, which is a monthly recurring donation of $25 or more.
Okay? And with that one, we are kind of floating the idea of opening up a few moments of the show to the executive producers to check-in with us either, through audio connection or through a video connection, and, having a few minutes here on the show with us as we go through the stories of the day or maybe even speaking to some of our guests. So got a little extra perk there for the executive producer in addition to the title and the shout outs that all the levels get. So, whichever one suits you, God bless you. Make the choice and help us out with those recurring donations. Those recurring donations really do help us out a lot because it's something that we are anticipating around the same time of every month, so we can budget out the things that we're that we need to spend on. So, pick out one of those, and if you can help us out with that, we'd really appreciate it. Now also, we, have our crypto wallet up on our website, and, you can donate, Satoshis to us. You can stream stats to us through the modern podcast apps. Now all a Satoshi is is a is a, a micro payment of Bitcoin.
It really translates to, like, a few pennies on on the dollar, But, every little donation that we get helps, and we appreciate every donation that we get. You could donate Satoshis. You can help us by covering our cloud expense on our on on on our the maintenance of our wallet, which is it's a big help. So, you know, any any way that you feel that you can contribute to the show based upon the value that you've received from it, we would really appreciate it. Now if you're one of those people that that have been watching the show or listening to the show on the audio and, you haven't been able to make any kind of a donation, hey, we understand, you know, the economy is hard. It's tight for everybody.
But, even if you can scrape up a dollar, that helps. That really helps. But it also tells me that you don't find any value in what we're doing here, and it kinda breaks the heart a little bit because, you know, we really do try to bring you the best quality radio we can. Look, we need your donations. So if you can help us out, we would really appreciate it. And we we we, you know, bend over backwards to to to to look. I will do whatever I no. I'm not gonna say that because then somebody's gonna tell me to do something really, really strange, and I'm not gonna wanna do it. So we will do anything we can do to come up with some great perks as long as you guys are making donations. So please consider a donation. Help us out. We really wanna keep doing this. We wanna expand. We wanna get bigger. We wanna do more.
So, let us know what we can do. Help us out with your donations. Alright. Now, also, just wanna tell you about, our good buddy, Carl Killebrew. Carl is the owner and proprietor of ArmoryOne. ArmoryOne is a Texas license to carry certification program. And Carl, who, who owns the owns the program and is the instructor for the program, brings over thirty years of military and law enforcement experience to the class. And you are gonna learn so much walking into that class. You're gonna walk out of there just bursting with knowledge and information knowing exactly where you stand as a Texas license to carry holder.
So check out the website, armory1.com. That's armory1.com, and, you can make purchases of gift certificates, which are redeemable for private range time, training, or purchasing merchandise from armory one. And, as, as you make those purchases, ArmoryOne donates a portion of your purchase to the podcast. So that's great. We appreciate that. So that's another way you can help us out. And then, of course, we also have our affiliates. We are an affiliate to the Alex Jones store. Alright? Now I'm now I'm talking about yeah. I'm talking about Infowars Alex Jones. The alexjonesstore.com/joe. That's our affiliate link. You, you head over to that link, and what you can do there is, you can shop from some amazing high quality vitamins, supplements, and patriotic apparel.
I am on I take a number of the vitamins. I tell you guys about them every show, so I'm not gonna get into all of it right now, but I have my Irish Sea Moss right here. I have my Atomic Defense. I have my liquid grass called optimal human. I also have my turmeric, gummies. I mean, folks, you wanna talk about high quality vitamins and supplements, you get them from the Alex Jones store. And, like, again, if you go to the alexjonesstore.com/joe, it's right up there on your screen. You go there, 10% of your purchase comes right back here to the show. 10%.
It doesn't change the price. It doesn't make it 10% higher than it would be normally. It's the same exact price that you'd that you'd pay without the link. But with the link, we get 10% of the sale, and that really helps us out. We had, somebody had made a purchase, day two days ago for, almost $200 worth of vitamin supplements and apparel, and we really appreciate that because that's a little something that comes back here to the show. And like I said, every penny helps to keep this this whole mess and deal going.
Alright. Let's see. I think, that should, that should do it for our opening up here, and let's, let's head to the news. It's wicked cough. Alright. Donald Trump now says tariffs on Canada and Mexico will kick in on March 4. That's good news. So on Wednesday, when asked at a televised cabinet meeting about the tariffs, Trump said, would it would be April 2 for everything. Alright? But, president Trump said on Thursday he plans to impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico starting Tuesday after suggesting on Wednesday that he that he plans to delay them until April 2. Trump in his Truth Social Post also said that he was doubling the 10% universal tariff charge on imports from China.
Trump in the in the post repeated his rationale for the tariffs and the that illicit drugs such as fentanyl are being smuggled into The United States at its Canada and Mexico border at unacceptable levels, and that import taxes would force other countries to crack down on trafficking. We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm The US, and therefore, until it stops or is seriously limited, the proposed tariffs scheduled to go into effect on March 4 will indeed go into effect as scheduled. Trump wrote in the post, China will likewise, be charged an additional 10% tariff on that date.
And, on Wednesday, when asked at a televised cabinet meeting about the tariffs, Trump said April 2 for everything. Now this is fantastic news. I I think that, I think the tariffs are a great idea. I mean, after all, every country in the world slaps a tariff on us. I don't see where the problem is of us slapping a tariff back on those countries. That's business. That's the way it works. Why should we be the whipping post for the world? Now, of course, as as as we said, Donald Trump is implementing these these tariffs because of the well, one of the reasons is the, the fentanyl issue coming across the border.
And, the president gave Mexico, the president of Mexico, a deadline to, start, sending the cartel leadership that they have in custody to The United States for prosecution. And, Mexico has delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed, and, so Donald Trump slapped the tariffs on them. Now, of course, as soon as he did that, I saw a truth post. I I didn't screen grab it. I should've. But I saw a truth post, that, that Mexico has after Donald Trump said that the tariffs are going in, he was gonna double them up. Mexico all of a sudden now is sending the, or or extraditing the, cartel, leadership to The US for prosecution.
Well, that's great. That's great. But if if it was my if I was in the position of Donald Trump right now, I would not remove those tariffs. I would still put the tariffs in place until those cartel, heads and leadership are here in The US in in the legal system, because, I don't trust the president of Mexico. She has said one thing and done the other, on several other occasions when it comes to president Trump, so I would not trust her. I would leave everything as it is. I would I hope that someone's listening that that I I doubt it, but who am I? But, it these these tariffs need to be left in place until we have them in custody.
End of the story. That's my opinion. Take it or leave it. Also in regards to the, the Trump economy, Donald Trump has ordered another major reduction in the workforce. This is as per town hall. President Trump has ordered another major reduction in the workforce, which which was announced Wednesday by the Office of Budget and Management and reiterated during the first cabinet meeting of his second term at the White House. Let's see. Federal government is costly, inefficient, and deeply in debt. Let's go to, cut number one from
[00:25:32] Unknown:
We're cutting down government. We're cutting down the size of government. We have to. We're bloated. We're sloppy. We have a lot of people that aren't doing their job. We have a lot of people that don't exist.
[00:25:46] Unknown:
Which is, yeah, which is true because, they sent out how they've sent a a million people have not responded. On 02/11/2025, president Trump's executive order implementing the president's department of government efficiency, workforce optimization initiative, commenced a critical transformation of the federal bureaucracy. It, directed agencies to eliminate waste, bloat, and insularity in in order to empower American families, workers, the taxpayers, and our system of government itself. The memo the memo continues. President Trump required that agency heads shall comply agency head shall promptly undertake preparations to initiate large scale reductions in force, consistent with applicable law and so on.
Donald Trump also, addressed a directive from Doge special government employee, Elon Musk, for federal workers to respond to an email, which is what I was starting to talk about before I kinda jumped jumped the shark there a little bit. Those of you from my generation know what that means. From, to it it required, an email, that required the the recipients of the email to respond with five tasks completed in the last week. Here's Donald Trump. I hope.
[00:27:18] Unknown:
I guess not. People that haven't responded though, Elon, they are on the bubble. You know? I wouldn't say that we're thrilled about it. You know? They haven't responded. Now maybe they don't exist. Maybe we're paying people that don't exist. Don't forget, we just got here. This group just got here. But those people are on the bubble as they say. You know, they maybe they're gonna be gone. Maybe they're not around. Maybe they have other jobs. Maybe they moved, and they're not where they're supposed to be. A lot of things could have happened.
I wouldn't say that Biden ran a very tight administration. They spent money like nobody's ever spent money before, wasted money. The green new scam, all of the different things they spent money on. And you've seen that. We've seen that with, some of the things that I read in speeches. I read them and people can't believe when I read them. 20,000,000 here, 30,000,000 here for, you know, a little educational cost on something. Circumcision. Right? Circumcision. $20,000,000 to, inform the people of such and such a country on other things and other things other than that. So, yeah, those people are right now, we're trying to find out who those people are that haven't responded.
Now there'll be some agencies like Marco has people within state that are right now doing very classified, very confidential work, and we understand that. We've talked and, you know, we're being a little more, surgical. And Marco's doing a lot of things himself. He's, and some of the secretaries are we're gonna be going to them. We're gonna be talking about it today. We're gonna ask them to do their own doge. In other words, they'll look in their group and, who? I spoke with Lee Zeldin, and he thinks he's gonna be cutting 65 or so percent of the people from environmental.
And we're gonna speed up the process too at the same time. You had a lot of people that weren't doing their job. They were just obstructionists, and, a lot of people that didn't exist, I guess, lead to you found a lot of empty spots and the people weren't there. They didn't exist.
[00:29:27] Unknown:
So a million people or more that couldn't even find it within themselves to answer an email. And, of course, you know, you you see the you see the the video clips, and you hear the art you hear the audio, you hear the you you see the stories all over the place about how these, poor displaced federal workers who have been living off the taxpayer dole for who knows how long, claiming to be working from home, but working other jobs and, collecting a taxpayer funded salary and income, crying about the loss of income, the loss of wages. Well, you know, I I again, and I know this is an old thing to say, and this is something that's that that that's been said repeatedly over and over again. Well, what did Joe Biden say to the thousands of Excel pipeline workers that lost their job on day one of his administration?
He said learn to code. Learn to code. Well, to the federal workers who are losing their jobs, learn to do something else. Drive an Uber. DoorDash. Learn to do something else. You know? I I I have no sympathy for them. I I really don't. I honestly could not care a rat's ass about a federal employee that was bilking the system, your money, my money, and that's now crying about losing that position. I'm sorry. I don't care. I don't care. And you know what? Maybe you say that the attitude's wrong. Maybe you say that the attitude's cold. Maybe you say that I'm being an ass. I don't care.
You brought this on yourselves. You milked the system for too long. You got caught. Deal with it. Plain and simple. Alright. So talking about, tariffs, the, again, the Trump effect. So everybody has been screaming about tariffs saying that it's only gonna do harm to the economy. You know, things are gonna cost more because it's gonna cost more for other countries to purchase. Yeah. There's some truth in that. You know, some things you might see a little a little uptick in in in in the price on certain on some things, but negligible.
Alright? But then you see things like this. Companies like like Eli Lilly, drug manufacturing company. Lilly to invest $27,000,000,000 in new US plants. Why? To avoid the tariffs. Eli Lilly wants to spend at least 27,000,000,000 to build four new manufacturing plants in The US. The drugmaker said to Washington press conference yes, Wednesday, as it grappled with the threat of drug import duties from the Trump administration. The new the new plants will be built over the next five years and are expected to create more than 3,000 jobs for skilled workers like engineers, scientists, as well as 10,000 construction jobs. And, Lilly said that it would announce locations of the sites later this year. Well, that's a that's a direct response to Donald Trump saying, hey. Look.
If you wanna continue to work outside The United States and and manufacture your product outside The United States, fine. Do that, but we're gonna slap a tariff on it. But if you come to The United States and you invest in The United States and you do you you make your you you you build your product here, there are no tariffs. So any smart business and I emphasize the word smart because you have a lot of a lot of, a lot a lot of businesses are going to, you know, try to wait out the tariff threats. They're gonna try to wait out, I think they they could absorb the cost and it would, you know, it would force the American people to reject the the tariffs and and and such.
You're gonna find those, but the smart business owner sees this as an opportunity to, to to, avoid additional taxes and and duties and impose and and and tariffs, build a plant here. The president has also said that he was going to, lower the corporate tax rates, so he'd be paying less on income taxes for the business the the corporate taxes. So the the benefit is to come, To come. Come. Come. Come. Come. And here you have one of the larger, drug manufacturers in in in in in the world investing $27,000,000,000 to build new manufacturing plants here to avoid the tariffs.
Well, you know what I think that is? I think that's another win. Right? And that is a SIP. Alright. What else we got here today? I think we're doing pretty good on time. Right? Well, this is a good one. I I I like this one. The Trump, top Trump official moves to bar illegal aliens from accessing food stamps. Follow the law. Full stop. Love it. Love it. Secretary of agriculture, Brooke Rollins, issued a directive on Tuesday that tightens restrictions on access to food stamps, limiting such benefits exclusively to American citizens and legal migrants.
Well, don't you think that's common sense? Don't you think that that is the way the whole thing was supposed to work out in the first place? Taxpayer benefits are for the taxpayer. It is so infuriating when you when you when you hear stories of of people who say, well, you know, I I pay taxes, and, you know, I need a little help from the government. I go to the government to get that help out of my own tax dollars, and I'm told that I don't qualify for it. Or if I do get anything, I get almost it's not even worth it, but yet you have illegals in this country getting full benefits, whether it's SNAP, whether it's Medicaid, Medicare, whatever it is. I I get the two confused sometimes.
This is fair. This is absolutely 100 fair and right. Donald Trump, said, Donald Trump just signed an executive order to terminate all taxpayer funded benefits for illegal aliens and end the subsidization of open borders. That's amazing. Now I don't know if you guys follow if, I don't know if you guys follow Bill Milusion on Twitter or x, whatever. Great account to follow. You you need to follow it. He he he posted up a lot of information on the story here. There used to be a time when Congress and a Democrat president operate under this under the mantra of common sense reforms to benefit the American people. Seems long ago, an alternate university university. An alternate universe.
Really? Sorry. Bill Miluzian said in the post, per White House official on background, later tonight, president Trump will sign an executive order designed to terminate any and all federal taxpayer benefits going to illegal aliens. That's a great move. By contrast by by contrast, providing benefits meant for the American people to those who ignore the laws and of this sovereign nation has been a long a long held platform of the Democratic Party. According to the White House, the Congressional Budget Office of the CBO estimates that the Biden administration's open borders agenda cost federal and state taxpayers more than $16,200,000,000 by providing Medicaid funded emergency services to illegals.
16,200,000,000.0 of your dollars went to pay for Medicaid funded emergency services to illegal aliens. You think that's fair? You think that's right? Our our favorite our favorite little socialist, AOC, just before Biden entered the Oval Office, introduced a series of left wing economic policy proposals seeking to provide unfettered access to welfare benefits for illegal aliens. AOC, in 2019, pushed legislation known as a just society, which stated an individual who is an alien without regard to the immigration status of that alien may not be denied any federal public benefits solely on the basis of the individual's immigration status.
Think about that. Now those federal government benefits include social aid programs, welfare, food stamps, disability, housing, and thank God that that bill went absolutely nowhere. It it didn't make it through the process, but, you know, once the progressive took once the progressives took over the White House under violent under Biden, a lot of those things that were in that bill were shoehorned into, into their agenda. Now the hard part is here is getting it all out, which I think the president is doing a fantastic job at. Alright. Doge. The Doge dividend, nearly 60 percent back Trump plan to give back some federal savings to taxpayers.
However, only 45% support the plan should federal spending increase. So I think I think the I think the American people are letting the administration know, you know, we got your back. You keep cutting spending. You keep you keep cutting, cutting, cutting. We got your back on this. But once we start seeing that spending increasing oh, it's not the story. Elon Musk's suggestion of using savings from his Department of Government efficiencies cost cutting measures to reimburse Americans appears to enjoy broad support from the public. 59% of registered voters support the idea of sending 20% of those savings back to the American taxpayers while using the remaining 80% to reduce the deficit according, to a Napalodon news survey.
That figure included 31% who strongly support the measure, while 22% opposed it in 18 were undecided. Support for the plan dropped to 45% should federal spending increase with 28 opposing in that scenario and 27 unsure. 62%, moreover, deemed it likely that DOGE would significantly cut waste in the government, while just 28 were skeptical and nine unsure. So this is, this survey was conducted in February, around the twentieth, twenty first, and questioned a thousand registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1. That's just some technical information for you.
Alright. Now this is a bone of contention. And, I guess I guess, you know, stuff kinda hit the fan today with the, the release of the Epstein files. Now we we all been hearing about this over the last, several years. Donald Trump promised that on day one, he would release the information. He signed the executive order to release the information, but the information was delayed and held, delayed and held, delayed and held. And, on the let's see. Until, representative, one of my favorites, representative Ana Polina Luna, stood up and said, this is not what the American people asked for. And she slammed the release.
This is what she said. I, nor the task force, were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today. A New York Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein's phone book. This is not what the American people asked for. Get us the information we asked for. In an article on, Thursday, The Post wrote the justice department is preparing to release notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's personal address book Thursday. The Post has learned adding through, the Post has learned adding through an unnamed source. The release would likely be a disappointment to many. Let's see. Do we have a clip of, miss Luna?
No. We don't. But, and I swear I thought I pulled out. Interesting. Well, I'm gonna do what I can here to get it for us right now. So just bear with me as I do this because I think this is relevant and important. So just take a second. Anyway, wish they would make it easier to pull this stuff out. It used to be that you were able to just click the link in the actual article, and you would actually hear the audio at least, but it doesn't quite work that way. Well, while I'm doing this, while while we're getting the audio together here, the document released the document released further delays faced further delays after US attorney general Pam Bondi on Thursday instructed FBI director Kash Patel to investigate a New York FBI field office that had, quote, never disclosed the addition of additional files. Alright. Let me get that.
We have that overlay right here as you can take a look at that. This is the FBI office in New York is now withholding the documents. What I don't understand is, is that if this was why is why are both sides of the aisles really kinda quiet about this about this delay? You know? Obviously, it's because, you know, they don't want it put out there. You know, this is in defiance of an executive order of the president of The United States, and, summarily, There we go. I think we got the audio. Let me let me get that ready for you. Alright. So, here's, Ana Polina Luna.
[00:45:38] Unknown:
I should be held accountable for the terrible things that they have done. So that's a big win. Obviously, you guys know we've been tasked to head up and actually, Brandon Gill's here. He's actually heading up the task force on declassification. Although we don't hold declassification authority, we are going to be investigating everything that is released and declassified from the White House. So Epstein's gonna be on there, also looking to JFK, RFK, MLK. And so we are very happy. This is a huge win, not just for our task force and for congress, but I think for the entire country. And, again, kudos to Bondi and Trump and everyone that's worked so hard to make that happen. So it's very historical.
I'm very happy that I got to get that fact checked by ALX because, frankly, everyone who would have been tweeting about it was here. So that was pretty breaking news. But, again, if you guys need anything, look, we're here to serve you. I can tell you that as far as we're concerned
[00:46:26] Unknown:
Now, Pam Bonny wrote to, Kash Patel. She said by 8AM tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio, and video recordings, and materials clients, regardless of how such information was obtained, Bondi wrote. There will be no withholdings or limitations to to to my or your access. In the meantime, what happened, earlier today was, and this I I think this was honestly, I don't I I I think I think the thought behind this was just to, you know, I I we said we were gonna get something out to you. We're gonna get it out to you. And look, I I I love president Trump. I think he does a he's doing a fantastic job, but when something doesn't seem right, we're gonna call it out. And and this just doesn't seem right.
So earlier today, they, at the White House, they they had a, they had, like, a photo op, basically, of all of these influencers and and, the, you know, the, the new media folks, parading around with these, with these binders that the White House gave out, and, I mean, had no real information in that thing. Let me let me click on this here. Let me see what we got. Everything in those binders should be online in PDF format already, then you can have your own influencer parade if you want if you wanna burn your optics down again. If any of these guys are real journalists, they will put the entire contents online immediately, but something tells me the grift is just getting started.
You know, I I I unfortunately, I wanna agree. There there's some there's a there's something going on here that that is a little disturbing to me. Now I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, of course, you know, because, again, I I am a supporter of Donald Trump. I agree with what he's doing or trying to do at least, and, unfortunately, there are still some of these, you know, rogue elements in the government that are gonna do everything they can to obstruct and delay and obstruct and delay trying to make the president look bad. Unfortunately, a lot of times, it works, and it's looking bad. It's looking like they're not or at least they're they're trying to cover something to, to maybe not embarrass the president.
Now we know, of course, that Donald Trump had nothing to do with Epstein and his his his, his his little private island over there. In fact, Donald Trump was one of the, was one of the, the the leading voices in trying to get, Jeffrey Epstein locked up and put away years ago years ago. I saw a clip today that I wasn't able to pull, but I saw a clip today that of of president Trump with Sean Hannity talking about that before he he even was president. So Donald Trump has a history of going after Jeffrey Epstein. So to us to to assume that that, you know, may maybe his name is involved in that in some way is is ridiculous.
Absolutely ridiculous. Alright. What else? Gene Hackman, ninety five, and wife found you're ready? Mummified. Police say deaths are suspicious. And I just find it interesting though, however, that around the same time that, because, you know, Gene Hackman is known to have been close with, Jeffrey Epstein. Just find it interesting how his wife, himself, and it and one of his three dogs were all found dead in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Wednesday. Hackman's body was found on the floor of the mudroom. He was wearing gray sweatpants, a long blue sleeve a long long sleeve t shirt, and brown slippers. A cane was also found near Hackman's body.
It looked like, he fell suddenly. Indeed, Hackman shown showed signs of obvious signs of death as his body was mummified. And then his wife's body was found on the floor in the bathroom with a space heater near, and she was wearing dark gray sweatpants and a light colored sweatshirt. Her remains were already decomposing on the on the bathroom counter. Police saw a prescription bottle with pills scattered all over, around 10 to 15 feet from, I can't pronounce your name, Arakawa's body. Police found a dead German shepherd. The other two dogs were found alive with one being near her remains. The dog the other dog was discovered outside the home.
Police found, no signs of possible carbon monoxide, leak, or poisoning. New Mexico Gas Company released a brief statement saying that as of now, there are no signs or evidence indicating there were any problems associated with pipes in and around the residence. Maintenance workers, found the body at around 01:45PM on Wednesday and, claimed that they have not seen their they have not seen, Hackman and Arakawa's body, Arakawa alive, for quite some time. So yeah. Yeah. Just crazy stuff. Crazy coincidence maybe that, you know, Is Gene Hackman involved in the s I don't know. We'll see.
Suspicious circumstances. Another article here. Oscar winning, cinema giant Gene Hackman found dead Wednesday along his wife along with his wife. What else we got? This was good. I I was looking forward to this one. So do we do we all remember, this moment, with, Rachel Maddow Or not. What is going on with the audio? There we go. And there's no sound. Okay. Well, let's we'll do it ourselves. So, Joy Reid was terminated from her position at, MSNBC. She lost her show, because of terrible ratings. The accusation was that, and, on on all fronts as as far as, you know, the the the hosts of on MSNBC, Rachel Maddow, was one of these, who jumped on there. Of course, you know, Joy Reid herself to talk about, this is being racist and then crying on camera, you know, talking about how our show had value and had value and brought value and so on and so forth.
But Rachel Maddow, went on for about four minutes, the next that same day just railing on her employer, MSNBC. And she said and since the audio is not working, I'll have to read it. In all of the jobs I've had in all in in all of the jobs I have had in all of the years I've been alive, there is no colleague for whom I have had more affection and more respect than Joy Reid. I love everything about her. I have so much more to learn from her. I do not wanna lose her as a colleague here at MSNBC, and personally, I think it's a bad mistake to let her walk out the door. It's not my call, and I understand that, but that's what I think. And then she went on to, of course, accuse her, her network of racism for letting, letting go of of two other non white hosts.
At a network where we've got two, count them, two non white hosts in prime time, both of our non white hosts in prime time are losing their shows, as is, Katie Fang, who's an who who's Asian on the weekend, Maddow said. And that feels worse than bad no matter who replaced them, she continued. That feels indefensible, and I do not defend it. Now I bring that up because, after making this comment, it seems like, Rachel Maddow might be in some trouble herself after, MSNBC fired the majority of her, production team as part of the network's broader restructuring efforts. So, you know, I I wanna say that even MSNBC can learn a lesson that I think the American people are tired of hearing about racism.
They're tired of being called a racist when they're not. I I I think that people are fed up. They're not watching this this crap anymore. Joy Reid went from I think she had, like, 1,500,000 viewers to, just a little bit over 900,000 in a, in in in, like, a year. So, you know, it's I'd I'd the American people are tired of it, and they're and and this is the the responses that, they're and this is the response that that we're getting from these left leaning organizations like MSNBC and CNN getting rid of the problem. Now what are they gonna replace them with? Well, that's another story. You know, who who who the hell knows? But we shall see. We shall see.
We shall see. Alright. Another, lefty, Bill Maher, who I really have no respect for whatsoever. I don't like him. I don't watch him. But over the last, over the last election cycle, you know, he he every now and then, he does come out with something that makes sense. You know? Not enough sense for me to turn around and say, well, I'm a I'm a Bill Maher fan now. No. Nothing. Nothing like that will ever happen. But, Bill Maher had made a comment. Bill Maher was on, Pod Save America, which is, an ultra left leaning podcast. It's it's run by Obama speech writers, former Obama speech writers, John Levitt, and, I forgot the other guy's name. But, but Bill Maher was on the show, and, he was basically telling them that, look, you know, forcing forcing the govern forcing government control over parents' rights, in in in in in transgender matters especially, you know, is gonna is it an electoral disaster for the party as proved in 2020 2024.
It's a disaster. It's an absolute disaster. Speaking on the Pod Save America podcast, Maher told former Obama speechwriter, Jon Lovett, that Democrats risk losing every election if they continue pushing policy that undermine parental authority. You wanna lose every election? Just keep coming down on the side of parents coming in just keep coming down on the side of parents coming in second why in a who gets decide what goes on with my kid contest, Maher said. Maher's remarks came in response to Lovett's argument that parents should only have a say in their child's gender transgender related decisions if they fully support their child's identity.
Lovett implied that parents who did not affirm that their child's transgender identity are comparable to abusive parents who endanger their children. Lovett said, I don't want Donald Trump deciding transgender, child trans related issues. I want parents and doctors. But then Bill Maher kinda jumped in on that, and he said, and, he said I think we have a clip for this, which we'll get to in a second. And Bill Maher said, well, you just said parents can't get you just said parents can get shut out. And then Lovett went on to to try to justify what he was saying by by or or clarify what he was saying by saying that, you know, parents shouldn't shouldn't that he didn't think that parents should get shut out, that there are ex there are exceptions to it, you know, but but but you also have to recognize there are parents that that that do such a bad job that the kids are in danger. And then he went on, let's let's go to the clip. Hopefully, this works. Here's the deal.
[00:58:27] Unknown:
The man was impeached twice. He was convicted. Wrong clip. Okay.
[00:58:31] Unknown:
That's Stephen a Smith. That's not, John Lovett. Alright. Anyway, just just a mess. This is what happens when you do your show by yourself. You have nobody to help you with with the with putting together the the clips and the cut sheets and all that stuff. It all gets messed up. So, so, Lovett went on to claim that the reality of terrible parents is often ignored in discussions about transgender policies. He said, do I think that do I think that school should be a baseline, be keeping a secret from parents? Of course not. No one thinks that. But then Bill Maher pushed back and he said he said, well, apparently, that's not true. People do think that.
And, Lovett then compared, regrettable transgender surgeries to having, like, a a botched heart surgery. You know, basically saying that, you know, hey. Look. Mistakes happen in the medical field, you know. And because these mistakes happen, it doesn't, you know, justify banning a particular treatment. He he said, quote, there are there are also really important surgeries that people get for their heart, and they go wrong if somebody dies. And nobody says, oh, we have to stop cardiologists. No one says that we have to stop surgeons. And, Bill Bill Maher's reaction was great too, though. He he just kinda, you know, like, he said, wow. That's your analogy?
And he and then and then he went on. So I I could beat that story to death. But, the clip that I'm gonna play for you that I I started playing from Steven a Smith, he basically said here that, in talking with to Bill Maher and and, basically, Steven a Smith's just shut them down. Shut them down. How? Because he was able to clearly articulate how Democrats have no one left fighting for the American people. Here's the piece.
[01:00:26] Unknown:
Here's the deal. The man was impeached twice. He He was convicted on 34 felony counts. And the American people still said, he's closer to normal than what we Exactly. Left. That's what they're saying. He's closer to normal. Why? Because something that pertains when you talk about the transgender community, for example, when you're talking about the issues that pertain to less than 1% of the population, the Democratic Party came across as if that was a priority more so than the other issues. And so he comes into office. Now you're talking about child you know, you know, childbirth citizenship and what have you. He knows that's not gonna pass the mustard, but he knows that he made that promise. So when he shows up week one on Capitol Hill, he says, this is what we're going to do through the executive order, even though it's gonna be shot down through the courts and what have you. He's saying, I kept my promise. A lot of other things that he's gonna point to that he's gonna try to do, I kept my promise. Then you turn around and you look at the left and you say, what promises did you keep? Now you might know the answer to that. I'm certainly not questioning your knowledge about that at all. What I'm saying is, what resonated with the view with the voter? What voter out there can look at the Democratic Party at this moment in time and say, there's a voice for us, somebody that speaks for us, that goes up on Capitol Hill and fights the fights that we want them fighting on our behalf. They didn't do that. And that's why they're behind the home, and that man is backing on the White House. And they wanna sit up there and tell you. Look at the networks right now. They're talking about it. Look at it. This is the latest. Look at him. Here he goes again. Well, you know what here he goes again means? He's doing what he said he was gonna do. He promised you he was gonna do these things, and he walked in the office week one, and that's exactly what he's doing. And he's saying, y'all do something about it. And when you try to do something about it, he's gonna say, look at them now. Now they're concerned about these issues. Were they talking about that during the campaign? Hell no. That's really it. Yeah. Well yes. Well,
[01:02:09] Unknown:
look. Absolutely right. Spot on. Now I don't agree with Stephen a Smith. You know, he's he's he's a lefty. But every now and then it's like somebody once said, every now and then you can find a diamond in a garbage pail. Right? That was one of those diamond in a garbage pail moments. He had a he had a an epiphany, if you wanna put it that way. He's absolutely right. Donald Trump look. We we know that a lot of the things that are getting put through are are are gonna be a problem through the courts. We we understand that. We understand that there are there are, there are things that you can't really do through executive order, but what does the executive order do?
Wow. It gets people talking about it. It brings up an issue that needs to be addressed. You're not gonna win every case in the court, but I'm gonna float this out there. We're gonna talk about this. We're gonna have a national conversation about this thing. And you can take the birthright the birthright citizenship issue that Stephen a Smith was talking about and say, okay, yo, I I I know it's not gonna, you know, it's not gonna get overturned in a an executive order, even though technically it probably could because it's really the fourteenth amendment doesn't really talk about birthright citizenship was had to do with something with slavery, which is another issue, another show.
But it's getting the conversation started. People are talking about it. They're starting to educate themselves more on it because, you know, of course, in the public school system, you never really taught these things. You learn most of the stuff that you know about American history by learning on your own. When and this is just a sidebar to it. When, you know, all through my life, I never really had such a burning interest in American history. Until one day I decided I'm gonna read a book, and I read this book, by, David McCullough on George Washington.
The book was called, seventeen seventy six. I read that book, and then I read the book on John Adams that he had written before the movie came out or the miniseries. And he started I started reading and studying these things on my own, and, like, these are things that I had never heard before, never learned before through the public school system, through the public education system. And that's what's gonna happen here. People are gonna and and I I I grew a love and an appreciation for our founding generation, which I personally think, and this is no knock against the, the World War two generation who was frequently called the greatest generation. I'm I I respectfully disagree with that. I think our founding generation was the greatest generation, quickly followed by the civil war generation, followed by the World War two generation, and down the line. My opinion, don't like it.
Shut me off. Now Stephen a Smith is right. Not everything is gonna get won on the courts, but it's starting a conversation about it. It's starting a conversation about these very, very sensitive issues that people really don't understand and don't know about because they were never taught it. I think this is I think I think the debate over birthright citizenship citizenship is important, needs to happen. I'm looking forward to it happening, and I'm looking forward to it going to the Supreme Court and getting overturned. Just saying.
Alright. Let's see what else we got here. Well, Kash Patel, and, the FBI, they are launching an investigation into former director, James Comey, for spying on president Trump's twenty sixteen campaign. According to this article, according to this piece, Comey and the Obama FBI sent two female honeypot agents to infiltrate the Trump campaign, traveling with Trump, as well as some high level staffers per The Washington Times. Worse, this is this was an off the books operation, and the Trump FBI is now trying to locate those agents.
Well, the good news is is that Comey didn't get one of Biden's preemptive pardons. So yeah. So so he'll have some explaining to do. But, but, according to the conservative brief, FBI director Kash Patel has launched an investigation into former FBI director James Comey regarding the bureau's alleged surveillance of the 2016 Trump campaign. The Washington Times revealed that Comey, who president Donald Trump dismissed as FBI director in 2017, has been accused by a whistleblower of authorizing an off the books investigation into Trump.
The whistleblower alleges that Comey ordered two female undercover agents to infiltrate the Trump campaign in 02/2015. The investigation was reportedly separate from the FBI's crossfire hurricane probe into potential Russian interference with the Trump campaign, a conspiracy theory that was that was ginned up by the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and echoed endlessly. And that's emphasis is mine because they still are talking about this bullshit, but ginned up endlessly by the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and echoed to this day by Adam
[01:08:04] Unknown:
Schiff.
[01:08:05] Unknown:
Patel and and the newly appointed FBI deputy director Dan Bongino are now reportedly investigating Comey based on the whistleblower's claims. The Times noted that new leadership at the FBI is starting an investigation to the origins of the agency's plan a decade ago to infiltrate the campaign of the then candidate Donald Trump using two female undercover honeypot agents. Alright. So, if you don't know what a honeypot is, it's basically, you know, two these agents were told to go in there and try to use whatever means necessary, whether it's physical relations or whatever, trying to seduce and entice members of the campaign into their confidence and then milking them for information.
According to the Times, Patel and Bongino had begun their investigation by attempting to locate the two alleged honeypot agents involved in the operation. According to the disclosure, the whistleblower agent personally knew that Comey ordered the investigation into Trump and that Comey personally directed it. Folks, this is big. This is big news. And I'm really hoping that they they go full bore on this thing and and they and they lock this guy up, Comey. But we shall see. We have yet to see any major arrests, and I think that the American people are getting impatient.
You know, I don't care about all the investigations. I wanna see people arrested already, and, I know there's a process. Look, I worked in law enforcement for many years. There's a process involved. I get it. I totally understand that, But we've been waiting for a long time for this. We have to get to it. We gotta get we we need to see some arrests. Alright. Well, let's see. What's what do we got? So we're well, I blew it. We're over the hour already. But, I wanted to get into some Texas stuff, but I'll get into this, maybe tomorrow if we have time. But, I found this great piece on, the Texas nationalist movement webs website. It's a commentary piece, written by Ryan McCacken, who is, where was he?
I just read it. But, he he read this he'd written this piece on secession, why redrawing US state borders makes politicians so mad. You see, secession is not a dirty word. Secession is not an unusual thing. Secession is a natural progression. Secession is something that takes place when the abuse of the government well, and like we used last night in the example when we were talking with, with Jack, when I went off on my little rant on on, independence, which I promise I'm not gonna do tonight, because I don't know if you can hear it, but I I am all stuffed up. I gotta get off this thing. It's like being in an abusive marriage.
At some point, the abused is gonna is gonna walk away or run. States have been abused by the federal system. In this particular article talking about, some specific counties in Illinois that are looking to split, join another state, or it was, like, five counties were talking about coming together and forming a state of their own. It's a natural thing. It's not it's not a dirty word. It's not a it's not a bad thing. Remember, like we said yesterday, The United States Of America, the 13 original states seceded from Great Britain.
It was a secession. If they didn't secede, we wouldn't be here as The United States Of America. We'd be still probably a colony or a territory of The United Kingdom, Great Britain. Secession is a normal thing. It's a natural thing. It's nothing to be afraid of. It's a natural progression. When someone is abused in a marriage, they get away. They leave. And it's the same thing with with in in the in the political spectrum, in the political sphere. So don't be afraid of it. Don't be afraid of the conversations around it. Engage the conversations. And if you want to do that, if you wanna get more involved in something like that, take a look at the Texas Nationalist Movement. The Texas Nationalist Movement is an organization of over 630,000 Texans who are looking for Texas to become, once again, a free and independent country, a nation of its own, a nation state.
Not talking about doing it through the the the raising of of arms is talking about going through the legislative process, letting our voices be heard, putting it up to a a a vote of the people of the state of Texas. And I'm telling you, over 60% of Texans right now are in favor of Texas leaving the union. Six over 60%, which is probably why the establishment government in in in Austin is doing everything it can to to to keep it from becoming a ballot measure. But eventually, it's gonna become a ballot measure. Eventually, Texas will get the opportunity to vote for Texas secession.
