This week has been a whirlwind of activity as we experimented with hosting shows five nights in a row. It's been a lot of work, but incredibly rewarding to connect with you all and discuss important topics affecting our nation.
Tonight, we're broadcasting from Eagle Pass, Texas, and enjoying a few beverages to kickstart our Friday evening. After the show, I plan to unwind with a fire pit session, a fine bourbon, and a cigar to celebrate the end of a busy week.
We covered a range of topics tonight, including the ongoing political landscape in the United States. We discussed the Washington Post's recent article on Trump's second term and the implications of his policies aimed at curtailing government power. We also touched on the Democrats' reactions and the political theater surrounding these developments.
Additionally, we explored President Trump's interest in acquiring Greenland for its strategic resources, particularly rare earth elements, which are crucial for various industries. This move could significantly impact the U.S. economy and national security.
We also discussed the nomination of Kash Patel as FBI director and the political maneuvers surrounding his confirmation. Plus, we shared the exciting news of President Trump revoking Joe Biden's security clearances, a move that sparked much discussion.
As always, we encourage listener interaction and feedback. Let us know your thoughts on our new weekday evening show schedule and any other topics you'd like us to cover. Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Let's make Texas independent again!

Hey, folks. This is Joe Rusciello, and we are coming to you live from the Asylum Studios and bringing you the best quality talk radio we can muster without all the bluster. Welcome to the podcast. Hey, folks. It is great to be with you again tonight on this beautiful Friday night, and the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass. Well, this week has been the week of great experiments. We've been, doing shows five nights this week. This is show number five this week. Something I've always wanted to try, you know, it was something that, I thought would be kind of fun and interesting to do. But, this is, it's a lot of work. I'll tell you. It's a lot of work. But it it's it's really worth it though. I do enjoy it. It's a lot of fun. And I get to spend, another night with you guys, talking about the things that are important to us all.
Things going on here in our United States. Now it's, again, another busy news day for us, so there's a lot of ground to cover. But being that it's a Friday night, I'm thinking that, you know, we're gonna try to get through this, as smoothly and as quickly as we possibly can so we can, get up get out and about our, our relaxation time, and then we'll be back with you again on Monday evening. We're gonna shoot for an 08:00 start time. We're gonna try to get that a little bit more established, and then, you know, we'll make modifications as we go along. Let me know what you think. If you, if you like the idea of doing this, on on, weeknight evening weeknight evenings or weekday evenings. Weekday evenings sounds better.
Just let me know. Drop a comment, through our email at [email protected]. Let us know what you think. Now tonight, I'm sitting here. I have several several beverages here with me this evening, to start to kick start our Friday evening. First of all first of all, we have our usual, bottle of water that we that we like to resort to from time to time. I have a a beautiful cup of Italian espresso, sitting here right in front of me. The only thing I don't have with me at the moment, because I don't wanna get crumbs everywhere, is the biscotti, that goes along with it.
And, I also have a beautiful, which I started with last night, Knob Creek 9 Year, bourbon, that I have right now on the rocks. We got our single gigantic ice cube in there, and this is really good stuff, folks. Really good. Now after the show, what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna I'm gonna head out into the, into the old backyard here, and I'm gonna set up a a fire pit. I have one of those big solo stoves, which are great, by the way. Love it. So I'm gonna set up my solo stove, gonna get a little fire going, gonna, open up or crack open a fresh bottle of, Paul Sutton bottled in bond bourbon. And, to go along with that, I have, I have an avo heritage series, cigar that I'm going to be, partaking of, just to kinda celebrate that we got through, this amazing and busy busy busy week.
Now we're gonna talk about a few different things here today, but, of course, before we do that, just a little bit of housecleaning stuff to do. Just, just head over to our website, joerussello.com. That's joerussello.com. And when you get there, head over to our contact section, open up that web form, and send us over a message. Let us know whatever you're thinking. Any questions you have, any comments, cares, concerns you might have. You know, if you don't wanna use the web form, totally fine. You can always email me directly at [email protected]. And also, just wanna remind you that this is a value for value podcast.
And that basically means that if you've received anything of value from what we've been doing here, all we're asking is that you return that value to us in the form of a donation. Now you could donate the three t's. You could donate your time, your talent, or your treasure. Time, talent, very simple. If you have a skill a particular skill, see, next time next time, I gotta remember that. I gotta get one of those. I gotta get a clip of, from the that movie taken. Remember that? I have a particular set of skills. Well, if you have a particular set of skills that you would like to, to to share with us, maybe you, write music, maybe you have a good voice for speaking, and you can, do a read for us, any number of things. Maybe you're a graphic artist. You could do some some, chapter art and and and, album art for us, and so we could put that up there on our chapter headings, on our platform.
And then maybe when we start doing video, maybe you have some skills with, with video that you might be able to help us out with. So, you can donate that as, as your contribution to the podcast as part of value for value. You can donate your time. You can help us out with doing research and study, and and doing show prep. And of course, your treasure, which is which is your money. You could you could donate, your you could donate cash through, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, whatever else we have up on our website right now. And, also, if you, if you're interested in in cryptocurrencies, you could donate, Satoshis to us. We have a link on our website, for our crypto wallet that you could, make a donation to. So there are a number of ways that you can help us out, and, we have been incredibly fortunate and blessed over the last couple of days that we received, several several donations, and we do greatly appreciate that. And we thank everyone for those things, and we're gonna give you the shout out just a little bit later on in the show. So make sure you stay tuned to us, all the way through because at the end of the show, that's when we give our shout outs. Alright. Now, as far as, your your, treasure donation goes, you can make a one time donation in any amount that you feel appropriate.
Whatever the value is you get from here, even if it's a dollar, you can donate a dollar. We appreciate every donation that we get. And again, you can donate your time, your talent, but if you want that associate producer credit of the show, we need you to set up a monthly recurring donation of $17.76. And, once you do that, we'll give you that associate producer credit, and you'll get your name shout out on every show. You'll get, your name listed in our show notes as an associate producer of the show. Now, also, if you wanted, the producer's credit, you would have to set up a monthly recurring donation of $18.36.
And it'll be the same thing. You would get the same shout out and the same listing in the show notes, for every show, but you'd be listed as a producer of the show. And then we also have the $25 or more monthly recurring donation, and, that gets you the executive producer credit. And of course, you also get the shout outs and the listing in the show notes. And the reason why we do that, we have these these three different, stages of clubs here, is because your your financial donations help us produce the show. And therefore, in turn, you are a donor to the show. You are a sponsor of the show. You are are a producer of the show, because your your donation is helping us to do that. So, you know, think these things over, and if you're able to to commit yourself to one of these monthly recurring, we would love to have you come on board as one of our producers.
Just like, Wayne Rankin is one of our executive producers. Well, he's our only executive producer of the show, right now. But, yeah, you can get yourself in on this. It's it's a it's it's you're really go you're really doing something good and right, and and all of that great stuff to help us make this show the best quality talk radio show that you can get in a podcast. I was thinking I have a bell here. I was thinking about ringing the bell, but then another show that I watch does that, and I don't wanna like be, you know, copying stuff. So ding ding. How's that? Alright. We're we're gonna get started. Well, one of the things that I wanted to bring to your attention here, tonight was an article that I had seen earlier today, and, really, I, you know, I want you I want I want you to let me know what you think about this.
Alright. Let me know what you let me know if you agree with this or not. Just shoot me an email. Let me know. You know, if you're following us on on any of our socials, drop a comment. But, the Washington Post, published an article today. I'm so no. Sorry. 02/04/2025. So just a couple of days ago. And the headline is this, Trump two point o, the most damaging first two weeks in presidential history. And then the, and then the subheading is Trump's second term is all about curtailing government's power and reach. Now, folks, understand something. The Washington Post is not writing this article as as a, a puff piece for the president.
The Washington Post is writing this article as a criticism. They are basically screeching an an alarm. You know, it's like the proverbial dog whistle. They're writing this to shock you. They're writing this to to to upset you, to get you angry. But there's one thing that they don't understand. And and if you go through the Washington post, I I don't recommend that you do it because it'll just infuriate you. You know, if you if you think like I do, if you, you know, if you if you are a MAGA supporter, if you are a Trump supporter, if you if you are a conservative, even like myself, I I I am more of a conservatarian than I am a conservative or or a libertarian.
You read some of the headlines that they have posted in in this in this rag, and they're these people are stuck. Folks, I'm telling you, liberalism is a mental illness. It is an absolute mental illness. Now some are further along the spectrum than others. Don't misunderstand. I have some some some folks that I know that are wonderful people, but they're stuck in that liberal mindset, and they think, you know, everything that Trump does is is fascistic. It's evil. It's it's, you know, ripping apart the very foundations of our democracy. You know, the the they have they have drunk the cool drank the Kool Aid. Is it drunk or drank?
Drank. Right? Yeah. They they have drank the Kool Aid. They have bought that line of of crap, hook line and sinker, and our and our and our and just kinda go right along with it. But folks, what what what these folks here don't understand at the Washington Post, like, again, just from reading the headline, not even getting into the article because we're not gonna get into this article because it's just gonna make you sick to your stomach. But what they don't seem to understand is that 70 plus million Americans voted for this, voted for this exact thing, limiting the scope, the power, and the control of government, returning the power to the people.
Because remember, the people put these representatives into office. The people, the power in a in a in a in a republic, which is what we are. Don't let people tell you that we're a democracy. I heard one the other day. This we are a representative democracy. No. We are not a representative democracy. We are a constitutional republic. I don't think I've ever heard of a representative democracy. But folks, this is again, they don't understand that 70 plus million Americans voted for this moment. We are we've been waiting for this for four long years.
The American people want this. The American people have spoken very clearly this past election cycle. The American people have given the Republican Party, the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate. The Democrats have learned nothing from this last election. Nothing. In fact, they're actually doubling down on everything that the American people have rejected. The American people have rejected DEI. The American people have rejected the LGBTQIA whatever it is now, that whatever that long list of letters are now. The American people have rejected drag queen story hour for for their children.
The American people have rejected the butchering of our children, the dispensing of puberty blockers. The American people have rejected that, but yet the Democrats are just doubling down on it. Trump two point o, the most damaging first two weeks in presidential history. I mean, just the just the headline alone makes you sick. Now if you imagine though, could you could you could could you imagine If this is the headline that you're getting the first two weeks into the into the presidency, imagine what it's gonna be a year from now, two years from now.
Things are moving at a very quick pace. A very quick play and there's a reason for it. There's an absolute reason for it. I think, my opinion, I might be wrong, but I think my opinion, president Trump knows that he that even though he's in office for four years, he really has two years to get his people in place and his agenda pushed through. Why two years? Well, because we have midterms. The midterms are coming. And don't think for one moment that with the midterms coming that the left is gonna try to steal local elections so they can tip the balance of power in the house and in the senate.
It is very, very possible. And do you know what's gonna happen if we lose the house, we lose the senate, one or the other. But what do you think is Al Green, just yesterday, stood up at the stood up on the floor of of the house of representatives and announced that he was going to be, starting the process of putting together articles of impeachment for dastardly deeds done, dastardly deeds, proposed. Although there is no constitutional, precedent for that. I do believe that it's high crimes and misdemeanors is is what you can be impeached over, but, well, that's his creation. That's what he thinks he's he's going to do, but the groundwork is already being laid for what's gonna happen should the Republican Party lose control of the house or the senate.
Because then the two years following that are gonna be impeachment hearings. It's going to be, roadblocks every step of the way. So I I I believe again my personal opinion, you don't have to agree with me on that one, that's fine. You know, we we on on this show, we do believe in the free exchange of ideas, so if you think I'm wrong, let me know. I'm I'm no problem with hearing that. But we're working quick. We're working fast because we have to get this stuff done before the midterms. And then once the midterms have passed, and if if, you know, God willing, we we keep control, oh, I can only imagine what's gonna come down the road.
But these first two weeks, these have not been damaging weeks as as Ruth Marcus here at the Washington Post says. These two weeks have been glorious to watch. It's been exciting to watch. It's been it's it's unbelievable. You have Doge. You have Doge doing the job what the General Accounting Office is supposed to be doing, auditing governmental agencies and saving the American people millions, billions of dollars already. 40,000 federal employees have taken the buyout that's been offered. 40,000. It's been extended until until Monday. 40,000.
Today, they were over at the Department of Education. And what do you think happened? On Monday, they were at, the, USAID. The Democrats being all insurrectiony. As a matter of fact, they were insurrectiony twice this week. Today, over at the, Department of Education, and and then on Monday over at, USAID. Screaming their heads off that that Trump and Musk and their effort, it's unconstitutional. And, of course, they're concerned about Elon Musk. I didn't vote for Elon Musk. Well, you know what? I voted for Donald Trump, and Donald Trump has been saying from the very beginning that Elon Musk, who can be a part of this his administration, he is you think about, Donald Trump, appoints where every president appoints a chief of staff. They appoint, they they appoint their, cabinet positions.
Do you vote for those? No. They're appointed by the president. Same thing with Elon Musk. He's appointed by the president to do this work. Well, let's kinda refresh our memory what happened here on, on Monday over at the, at, USAID.
[00:27:33] Unknown:
As you probably saw, Elon Musk, and his crew put a gag order on AID employees. They disconnected them from email, which is putting lives at risk around the world. So we are here to enter the building and so we can hear first hand like insurrection to me. From whoever is here at AID or at least witnessed firsthand what is happening with this Elon Musk attempted takeover, which will not stand. We will prevail. Let's go.
[00:28:19] Unknown:
Alright. Now they're marching over to the front doors of the, of the building. I still find it amazing they're actually carrying American flags. See, now now the left is all, patriotic. Right? Well, can't get in there, go to the next door. Alright. And then and then fast forward now to today, and you got, Maxine Waters, the most corrupt congresswoman representative in congress, and that's not just me saying it. That's actually, that that's actually been, brought about well, brought up by an independent, organization. And they were blocked access by a security guard.
And, of course, you know, Maxine, Mad Max, you know, of of course, you know, she took advantage of the opportunity here to to, criticize Trump's proposal, to eliminate the Department of Education altogether. And and, of course, she berated the security guard for doing his job, and and, of course, you know, parroting all the, the left wing talking points that they were being silenced. Let's take a listen.
[00:29:55] Unknown:
Things where they're probably not going to get access to this building, but the Democrats are are flummoxed as to how to deal with this, Shannon.
[00:30:05] Unknown:
Yeah. Dana, I think you're right. We see them showing up and protesting outside of a number of buildings or actually we saw on Capitol Hill yesterday, I think it was, actually forcing themselves and their way into a meeting that they wanted to be a part of. And I think right now, they feel like chaos is the strategy. I think that was the line that was in, playbook maybe this morning, talking about the fact that, they know that they're gonna be overwhelmed with all of these actions, all the things that they
[00:30:30] Unknown:
Playbook, by the way, that's as you mentioned, that's that's a, that's put out by Politico, which by the way, you and I have been paying for, several several millions of dollars over the years. But but playbook is basically it's like their bible. If you if you wanna know what the left is up to, you you go to Politico's playbook,
[00:30:52] Unknown:
and they lay it out for you in detail. Let's continue on here. You know, are are trying to get a hold of. They're showing up. We've seen protests. We've seen we're at war. We've seen them say, take this to the streets. It does feel like the Democrats are kind of back on their heels trying to get control of the messaging, much less the substance of all these different things that are happening, Dana.
[00:31:12] Unknown:
And I think with the, the one congressman I can make out there is taking the photograph right now. I believe that's Maxwell Frost, and they're talking to a security guard. So let me just turn it back over though to Sandra to ask you another question as we watch these Democrats who I guess it's performative art in a way, Sandra, to try to make a point.
[00:31:32] Unknown:
Absolutely. You can you notice the camera's up, and you're noting Maxwell Frosty, Carsman from Florida, in the picture there. Apparently, this is a security guard. But, Shannon, obviously, this is just further further signs of what is to come. I spoke with Caroline Levitt, the press secretary yesterday and asked her about the, president's intentions with the Department of Education. You know, they're not detailing exactly where they're going with this, but there has been a lot of talk about dismantling it altogether
[00:32:02] Unknown:
or reworking it, but we just don't know. And that uncertainty leads to a lot of this. We have We should have It does. And conservatives have been talking about this for a long time that they feel like states are much better equipped to handle the education system. It's closer to the parents. It's closer to the people that are directly involved, the students as well. So it's one of those agencies that has been targeted by conservatives to say this doesn't need to be this federal behemoth that has all of this money when states and localities and local school districts know much more about what their students need. They are much more So what's going on right now is, show up at these meetings This is Fox News reporting on this. You
[00:32:39] Unknown:
have this one security guard standing in front of the doors, and he looks completely disinterested in what's going on around him. And everybody here is yelling at him in his face. Local and state, but I think ideally for conservatives,
[00:32:50] Unknown:
they want it as local as possible. And that means a threat to the federal agency that now exists. Shannon, let's try to see if we can hear anything going on. On your own behalf. Are you told to come out of the clock? Members of Congress? They know the way
[00:33:01] Unknown:
ask the question again. That's important. Were you told are you making this decision to stand in front of the store on your own behalf, on behalf of the Department of Education, or were you told to come out here and block members of Congress and write the dots? Your minds are off. So everybody's What is what is that? We're doing our jobs. We're trying to save your jobs. Our jobs. To know who's going to Reggie, show them your IDs. Were you told to stand here, or did you decide to stand here and block members of Congress from others to allow us to take access. To federal government. You
[00:33:30] Unknown:
said the director of directors
[00:33:32] Unknown:
of We're allowed in there. So a private security contractor Do you do you know members of Congress? Members of
[00:33:40] Unknown:
Congress. Maybe he doesn't understand. Do you not understand? Private security contractors is making the decision to block members of Congress from
[00:33:46] Unknown:
is making the decision to block members of congress from absent from a public No. They're calling him a private security contract, which is not true. He's actually a federal employee. I don't think he knows You have the authority as a private security contractor to block members of congress. That that that has been knighted and granted to you.
[00:34:02] Unknown:
You you you have to at least let us go to the desk. Yeah. Okay.
[00:34:08] Unknown:
This guy looks so calm, sort of relaxed, all of them. He actually looks more annoyed.

So do you do you understand who members of congress are? I got it. Well, and you don't care. Huawei then. I got a job right there. You don't care. We have a job to do. We're not dangerous people. We're not I don't know. We're members of security. There are no thieves and thugs out here. We're members of congress. We're terrorists. We're teachers.
[00:34:34] Unknown:
Each of the five There's already 400 Right now? We were elected to this. All political theater.
[00:34:40] Unknown:
This is all it is. It's just political theater. This is just them trying to get their moment. You know, elections are coming up again, so they're trying to do something to, you know, to get to give themselves something a little put themselves in a little bit better light. Let's put it that way. But, you know, you think about it though, both USAID and the Department of Education, just perfect examples of the inefficiency of of federal government. And, I agree with president Trump that education needs to be returned to the states. The Department of Education, when, when the states controlled education, The United States was number four in the world in education.
Now we're down in the fifties. And the left's solution is just throw more money at it, throw more money at it, throw more money at it, and it doesn't work. It needs to go back to the states. It needs to get away from that central plan, the central planning of education, and the federal government needs to mind its own business and stay out of it. So I agree with, the president in, in in getting rid of these this this organization altogether, among others among others, and we'll get to those when the time comes. But basically, but this is what Democrats do. Instead instead of instead of, you know, trying to offer a solution to the problem, they go out, they play the victim, they engage in this political theater, They do all this posturing, but the reality of it is that but they're not they're not afraid of dismantling the agencies. They're not afraid of taking these things apart and getting rid of them. What they're afraid of is losing power and losing control. Alright. We're gonna switch gears here for, for just a little for just a minute here. We're gonna leave this behind. I think, as as exciting and as interesting as it all is, Doge, and all the work that's going on with Doge, you know, I don't wanna I don't wanna get too lost in in in Dogeville, and and, you know, end up end up getting doge fatigue. We we don't wanna do that. And I don't personally speaking, I don't think that could happen. But, but what I I wanna, bring up something that's been, you know, kicked around a little bit here. Greenland.
Greenland. Now, president Trump has made it very clear that he would like to acquire Greenland or have Greenland become part of this, this American Union. And, according to, the Federalist, Chuck Devore, has a piece, and Federalist here says Greenland isn't just an Arctic landmass. It's a North American strategic, economic, and military asset that America cannot afford to ignore. The time to secure it is now. So, one of the things that president Trump is looking at as far as the, as far as Greenland becoming part of The United States is, the the real prize of Greenland is the rare earths.
Alright? And when I'm talking about rare earths, you're talking about rare earth elements, you know, minerals that that that that are used for military systems, defense systems, semiconductors, electric vehicles, AI driven computing. You know? And right now, the the problem is right now is that China dominates the, the refined rare earth or the rare earth elements market. China refines over 85% of the world supply, and and, you know, it's it's it has a near monopoly. And, of course, you know, China has, you know, China squeezes, and they they tighten their grip on political on, on, on on these critical materials through state backed financing, subsidies, aggressive acquisitions.
And, I think Beijing is also used, has has, well, let me go to the article because I'm I'm losing my place here. Beijing has used this leverage before, restricting rare earth exports to Japan in 02/2010 over a diplomatic dispute. It also limited gallium and germanium exports fundamental in making computer chips in 02/2023, and banned exports of these minerals to The United States in late two thousand twenty four. So if The US remains dependent on China for these materials, we're putting our economy, energy sector, and national security at Beijing's mercy.
Now Greenland offers the alternative. The the island's, Cabin Field, Kvanfield, deposit holds an estimated 111,000,000 metric tons of REE bearing ore, including neodymium, dysprosium, and, terbium, which is needed for military applications, electric vehicles and and such. And then, there's another complex. I can't pronounce it, but the, the yeah. That, holds even more. And if The US were able to gain access to this, direct access, I mean, look think about where that puts us up against China. We would end up being able to, put up a resistance to China's economic blackmail.
Build a re build build a supply chain. And then you have Texas, my beautiful state of Texas. Greenland's resources are only half of the equation here. You need to be able to refine and manufacture the materials domestically rather than sending them out to China. And that's where Texas comes in. Texas is is is just a hub for this industry, offering deep water ports, energy infrastructure unrivaled in the nation, and an and an and an industrial workforce skilled in refining and high-tech manufacturing. And Texas already has a heavy REE processing plant at Round Top.
So a Greenland to Texas rare earth supply chain would create thousands thousands of high paying jobs while fortifying America's economic and military independence. I I would recommend you to read this article. Again, it's on the Federalist. It's it's called, Trump is right. America needs Greenland to to act and access to its critical resources, by Chuck Devore. Read this article. This is a great article. Great, great article. Alright. Let's see what else we got here. Oh, I I'm sure you heard about Kash Patel and the, and the, his confirmation hearing. Now the Democrats, of course, want to, block Kash Patel from, from from taking over the FBI as the FBI director, and they, you know, and their reasons are, I think, basically because they're greatly concerned of what Cash Patel would would, expose and would bring forward and make aware to the American people.
In this article by LifeZet, from yesterday, Dem's in full panic mode, scrambled the block, Kash Patel from FBI role. Senate judiciary committee, Democrats are making a last minute effort to delay the confirmation of Kash Patel, president Donald Trump's nominee to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Despite Patel enduring nearly six hours of questioning and submitted extensive documentation of his record, Democrats are demanding a second hearing to scrutinize his nomination further. So so they're basically they're putting it off for a week. All that's doing is just putting off the inevitable inevitable. He's going to be confirmed.
Again, more political theater. If they were only this concerned about the nominees that poopy pants brought forward, but, of course, they did they weren't. Democrats argued that Patel, a former intelligence and defense official, provided misleading testimony and must answer additional questions before his nomination proceeds. In a letter, committee Democrats wrote, in order to discharge our constitutional duty, we have must have a full and accurate understanding of mister Patel's record. The committee must fulfill its responsibility to the American people, that's a laugh, and the 38,000 employees of the FBI nationwide to ensure that a director confirmed by the senate possessed the requisite characteristics trustworthy, truthfulness, and regard for the protection of classified information befitting of the FBI.
You know, they also went on to say that he was unwilling to answer questions posed by members of the committee, related to his grand jury testimony and the circumstances of his fifth amendment right against self incrimination. Now the thing is is that, he's not allowed to talk about what was in a sealed grand jury, testimony. He can't talk about it. He's not allowed to. And, of course, the Democrats tried to trick him into doing that, but delaying it another week is only going to delay the inevitable. And the Democrats are gonna see Kash Patel as the director of the FBI.
Alright. So, we're gonna close out our news portion over here before we get into our Texas moment, our Texas fact of the day. This came through today, right as I was doing show prep and getting ready to do this. And so I wanted to end with this because this is great. I mean, this is just, gosh, I love it. I really do. When I saw this, I I I will I will confess that when I saw this, I did laugh very loudly sitting at my computer. My my dogs, my two Frenchies, they just, when I laugh, they actually jumped from their from their bed, and they came running over to see what was going on. But, this was great. On Friday, president Donald Trump announced he is revoking former president Joe Biden's security clearances and stopping his daily intelligence briefings.
Quote, there is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information, Trump wrote in a post on his truth social Friday night. These privileges will be revoked immediately according to the president. Let's listen in.
[00:45:59] Unknown:
Just a minute or so, president Trump is now revoking security clearances for former president. President Trump saying on truth social moments ago, quote, there is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden's security clearances and stopping his daily intelligence briefings. He set this precedent in 2021 when he instructed the intelligence community, I see, to stop the forty fifth president of The United States, me, from access accessing details on national security, a courtesy provided to former presidents. The her report revealed that Biden suffers from, quote, poor memory, and even in his prime could not be trusted with sensitive information.
I will always protect our national security. Joe, you're fired. Make America great again. Again, a truth social post moments ago from president Trump.
[00:46:54] Unknown:
How do you not love that? How do you not love that? You're fired, Joe. You're fired. That is just that made my night. It really did. It made my night. It it, it it as a matter of fact, that's the moment that that sparked my my desire to say, hey. You know what? I'm lighting up a cigar tonight. I'm gonna have a drink. I'm gonna light up a cigar. I'm gonna sit by the fire, and I'm gonna rejoice at this particular moment. At this particular moment. Joe, you're fired. And, I'll tell you honestly, anything you wanna know about, any decisions or any comments or or statements that are made by president Trump, go to truth social because he's always gonna post it there first. And that's how you know it's legit.
Alright? If you don't see it on truth social, you can raise questions about it. Alright, folks. We're gonna take a break here, for just a moment. Hey, folks. Welcome back to the podcast. This is Joe Rusciello. Little Doors for you. Changeling from the LA Woman album. This is a great song. Alright. Well, I hope that this week has been just an eye opener to you. The last two weeks actually been an eye opener to you for all of the corruption that's going on in Washington DC over the years, and how much of our tax dollars went to fund research against the American people, basically, regime change. CIA, USAID, regime change here in The United States, your government doing that. It's terrible folks. It it's it's terrible.
But you know what? It's Friday. We went through the headlines for the night. Let's not dwell too much more on that. Let's talk about something that's a lot more fun, that's a lot more promising, a lot more hopeful. Because no matter what happens in The United States, Texas is still gonna leave. It is the most healthy thing that can happen for the American union. It it truly is. Great book on the subject is Dan is, is, Daniel Miller's book on text it, Jason Fry's book on national divorce. Should definitely get those books if you if you don't already have them.
Let's pour ourselves a little bit of the, Knob Creek here. Just grab the bottle. Hold on. Oh, that sounded bottle's almost done. There we go. Adult beverage moment. So good. Amazing. Amazing. Alright. So our text it fact of the day. Another very popular question that comes about with with, the subject of Texit is, is is always, will Texit will Texas be able to fund the government after Texit? Well, simple arithmetic. Now that you can you can get this information on, tandm.me or, texitnow.org looking under the facts. So if you miss what I'm gonna say here, you can always go back and look at it, But, the simple arithmetic proves the ability of an independent Texas to fund a government at the same level that Texans are currently accustomed to if that's what Texans want. Texas Texans currently pay in all federal and state taxes an average of 336,000,000,000 a year.
This represents the total amount of revenue readily available to an independent Texas without increasing the financial burden on Texans one single cent. From that amount, subtract the amount spent by both the federal government and the state government in Texas. Two hundred twenty eight billion is the average amount of expenditures required to maintain every program, every job, both civilian and military, every department, every facility, including military bases, and fulfill every function, including federal contract spending to Texas companies provided by the federal and state governments.
This level of government revenue would rank Texas twelfth in the world in the world for government revenue collected. Take a listen to this. Oh, that's not the video I thought it was. I'm sorry. I'll have to read it to you. Texted opponents are fond of saying we missed that one. How about we start it again? Texed truth, everything that you ever wanna know about Texas leading the union. How much money does Texas actually get from the federal government? Texed opponents are fond of saying Texas could never survive without the money it gets from the federal government. That's just a load of you know why.
Here's the real story. First, Texans pay a portion of their hard earned income to the federal government. In some way, Texans pay individual income tax, self employment tax, business income taxes, unemployment income taxes. On average, Texans send between 265 and 320,000,000,000 to the federal government per year. Then the federal government decides how your money will be spent. Some of your money gets sent back to Texas, but the federal government also mandates how your money is spent in Texas. Not sure what just happened there. My video is not working out for me tonight. Sorry, folks.
On average, federal expenditures in Texas are a hundred and 60,000,000,000 per year. That's an average overpayment of a hundred and 50,000,000,000 per year to the federal system. The economic effect of of taking this much of your money out of Texas economy is like a hurricane Harvey hitting Texas every nine months. Imagine what a free independent self governing Texas could do if we kept our money in Texas. And you can learn more, of course, over at, tandm.me or textitnow.org. Alright. So sorry about that, folks. That was I had the wrong video queued up. I do apologize for that. But, I read it to you anyway, so you're you're okay.
Right? Right. Alright. So, folks, if you have any questions whatsoever about Texas, I would be very, very happy to answer your questions. You can always email me at [email protected].
