Well, hey there, folks. This is Joe Roos. It is great to be with you once again on another night broadcasting live from the asylum studios from the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass, and we are doing the very best we can to bring you the best quality talk radio we could muster without all the bluster. This is the Joe Rooz Show. Alright, my friends and my foes alike. Beautiful night here in Eagle Pass, Texas, and we are excited because we are about to start our special Friday show. This promises to be a good one.
Alright. Well, my friends, it's been a long week, hasn't it? We have been broadcasting shows since Saturday. We took off yesterday, but that was it. We haven't done anything other than do shows all week long. It has been crazy. You're gonna hear a you're gonna hear a couple of dings here for a second because I'm having a forgot to do something moment. So we're going to take that moment right here, right now, and get this whole thing all set up. Alright. Now, let's see. Hope you guys had a good day today. We had a lot of things take place here, in the news, especially around the, the federal level. Lots of great stuff there. A lot of victories for this administration.
We're gonna get into all of that in just a little while. In the meantime, what I'm trying to do right now is, I had a bit of a brief interruption in the show prep, and I did not set up what I need for the, interview tonight. So that is what I am doing right now. So hopefully, I can get this all put together here really quickly without any major delay. Oh, there we go. I think we're good. Alright. Now tonight, we have a special guest lined up. We have, doctor James Kneller, who's gonna be joining us, probably around 07:15 or so, I think, anyway.
We should be. Haven't, hasn't checked in yet, but, hey, that's fine. And let me just adjust this. All of this should have been done already, Joe. A 106 episodes, you think you would have gotten this stuff down pat already. Right? Not me. Not me folks. Alright. I think I got that ready. And let's see if I gotta get the other stuff here ready. Oh, the fun. All the fun that we have here in the show. Done here in a second, folks. So anyway, like I said, hope you guys have a good day today. Hope you guys are ready for a great weekend. It's gonna be a lot of fun, for you, not for me, because right after the show here today, guess what I have to do?
If you guessed go to work, you are absolutely correct. Absolutely correct. I am gonna have to go do that, as soon as we wrap up the show here. I'm gonna grab the kids, give them their dinner. My dogs, you know that by now, I hope anyway. So I'm gonna grab the kids, give them their dinner, and then, get on to work, take care of what I gotta take care of there, get back here, and then the weekend will start. But I don't know how well it's gonna take me to while I'm at work tonight, so we'll see what happens. But anyway, okay. So we got all that set up. Great. Thank you so much for your patience. Really do appreciate that. Alright. So, running a few things here. Alright. Number one, trying a different mic.
Let me know in the comments what how the sound is to you, if it sounds a little distant or not great. And then, on Saturday, we're gonna try something out, with the, with another mic that I have, trying to find the right sound. I'm funny that way. If you haven't figured that out yet, I keep on changing the setup, I keep on changing the way things look, and I keep on just messing with everything. So but one of these days, I'll figure that stuff all out. Until then, I hope you bear with me as I'm going through it. Alright. Let's see. So again, a lot of stuff happened to, today. A lot of victories, Supreme Court rulings that came down that really, really benefited the administration. And we're gonna talk about those, in the second hour, as long as our guest, is able to join us. If not, then we'll just bang it out, and then we'll call it an early night. Alright? That always works for me too, especially on a Friday. Alright. So, in the meantime, while we're waiting, let's, let's get through some of the usual housekeeping stuff and then we'll figure out what we're doing from there. Alright. So, folks, don't forget. Head over to the website, joeroos.com.
That's joeroos.com. It should be right up there on your screen. And, oh, look, my hand looks huge. Right? Like three d. Check it out. Alright. I Okay. I'll stop. Alright. Let's see. Joeroos.com. When you get there, go to the contact section. Alright. I'll I'll I'll I'll be mature. Okay. I'll I'll I'll stop. Go to the contact section, open up the web form, send me over a message. Let me know whatever's on your heart, whatever's in your mind, any questions, comments, cares, or concerns that you might have, anything, any issues, any suggestions, any ideas for guests, anything that you think would help us here with the show. We are always open and ready to hear what it is that you have in mind. Alright? Also, if you don't wanna use the web form, totally fine with me. That's why we have an email address. And you could, just head over to your email program, whatever it is you're using, app, whatever, and, send us an email to [email protected].
That's [email protected]. Alright. Also, this is a value for value show. And, like I always tell you, what that basically means is that if you are getting anything of value from what we're doing here, we're asking that you return that value in the form of a donation. Now, you could do a one time donation in any amount. You could do a recurring donation in any amount. And you could also, join up in one of our, one of our producer tiers. Now, we have our associate producer tier that you can sign up for for the reasonable price of $17.76. That is American independence.
Or you could sign up for our producer tier for $18.36 a month. That's $18.36. And, if you are a a a a citizen of the great state of Texas, you know what that is. That is Texas independence. Alright? Two great achievements in world history, American independence and Texas independence. And then, we're hopefully that there will be another date for Texas independence very, very soon. Maybe 02/1930? Could be. 2030. Never know. And then and then, we also have our executive producer tier. Now the executive producer tier, there are two of them. Alright? There is the, the first tier, which is $25 a month, and then you have the second tier, which is $50 a month. Now, all of the producer tiers get the same basic benefit, and that is you get the shout out on every show, you get included in all of our show notes, and, you get also included in all of the emails and any promotional material that we send out.
Then at the executive producer level, at the $25 level, you get, in addition to the shout outs and the inclusions, you also get to book a live segment with us right here on the show. Alright? Now, you might not wanna do that, but there are other ways that you could earn that benefit or, claim the benefit is a better way to say it. And, you know, you could donate your time, your talent, your treasure. You can help us out like our anonymous Angela, our producer. And she is, she donates her time and her talent, and, she helps us out, with a lot of the stuff we do. She basically runs our, our guest booking service, and, she takes care of pretty much all that stuff for us. She helps me with the, with, preparation, show prep, which is a huge help.
Maybe you can help us out with something like that if you don't wanna be on the show with us live. But if you do, that's always a lot of fun, and, we had a great time when our our executive producer Wayne was on the show with us, and we are looking forward to him jumping on board with us again very very soon. Now, at the executive producer level, the second tier of the executive producer levels, the $50 a month, you get all of the inclusions, all the shout outs, you get the segment live on the show, and you get one of our Joe Ruse podcast t shirts, which are great.
We got a bunch of them that are ready to go. So all you need to do is just click that button and we can get that sent out to you right away. Or if you don't wanna wait, if you don't wanna join up with one of our tiers, you'd rather purchase the shirt for yourself, there's a little button right down there, right along the bottom there that says shop. You can click that. It'll take you over to our shop, and you can just order a shirt for yourself right there. Or you can go over to our website, joeroos.com/shop, and you could purchase it through the website.
Either way, we really appreciate it because all of the funds that we generate through the sale of the shirts and the, the producer tiers, the, everything that we whatever donations we get, all get funneled right back here into the show and help us cover the expenses that we have, like our our audio podcast platform, the vidcast platform that we're on at Rumble. It all that stuff adds up and all your donations and contributions really help us out. So we look forward to, working alongside with you. Now, another great way you can help us out is by visiting our affiliate link at the alexjonesstore.com/joe.
That should be coming up on your screen right now. The alexjonesstore.com/joe. Alright. Now, you can head over there, and when I tell you, you can get your hands on some great deals on some amazing vitamins and supplements. I am not kidding with you. You can get the ultimate Irish Sea Moss, you can get the turmeric, you can get the Shilajit. My favorite is the, Ultra Methylene Blue, which is amazing. Amazing. The next time I get a bottle, should be here shortly. The next time it comes, we'll crack that baby open right here on the show again, and I'll demonstrate it for you right there that I actually do take these supplements. These things are fantastic. They are great for you and, you know, if you really wanna surprise your doctor when you go to do a urine sample, you gotta try the methylene blue. That that'll trip him out. I'll tell you that. Alright. So it's, but all seriousness though, this stuff is fantastic for you. What I get out of the methylene blue is, first of all, it it works at the mitochondrial level in your body. It's like a cleanse for your mitochondria, and it also helps with your memory. It helps with, not everybody, because I'm a living testament of that, but it helps with your memory. It helps with, with your overall body cleansing. It helps with your mood.
It's it's, it also helps with depression, which I found out recently, in doing some studies. I mentioned in some of the other shows, you know, I deal with depression from time to time. Sometimes more than others, sometimes less than others, but I do. And I have noticed that with the methylene blue, it really helps. What it does for me is it it kinda it with probably within about a half an hour or so of of taking it. And I just take, I just take the recommended dosage is twenty drops right there in some water, chug that thing down, and, within about a half an hour, you know, I feel it. I feel the energy going through my body. I feel like, kinda get a little sweaty, not even doing anything, you know. I just kinda get into a little bit of a sweat, and I know it's working. I kinda feel that that tingling that kinda goes throughout your whole body, but the main thing it does for me, it puts me into almost a kind of a meditative mental state where where I just feel very relaxed, very calm.
I don't wanna say sedated because I have a lot of energy, you know. So I'm not like just sitting around, like, drooling, you know. I actually have energy to do stuff, and it's I find it very hard just to sit around. But but again, it's not like jittery energy. It's not like you just drank a whole pot of coffee and you're running around like a lunatic, or it's not like one of those energy drinks that you take where you get the jitters and the shakes and you know, and then all of a sudden you get that that that crash just like that. It's not like that at all. This stuff stays with you throughout the course of the day. It is amazing. I love the product. I recommend it. And don't just get any methylene blue, because you can go to Amazon, you can get something, you can buy it at your pharmacy and all that stuff.
I really do recommend the alexjonesstore.com/joe, ultra methylene blue. It is the strongest that I've ever tasted and tried and and and used. And and speaking of taste, it is it's delicious. I love it. It has that natural vanilla and and natural mint flavor to it. Really nice. And what I like to do, by the way, just a suggestion, just a suggestion. I'll take the x two iodine, and I'll put a couple of drops of that over some ice. I'll I'll put my dropper of, of the ultimate blue, or the ultra blue methylene, and then I'll top it off with some toppuccino or some, like, I I get this, this this lime sparkling water, store brand right out here at HEB.
Top that off with that thing, give it a little bit of a stir. Oh my God. It is so good. It's almost like drinking like a vodka cocktail, and you know, I'm not I'm not that's not original with me. I heard Alex Jones say that on the show one day, and I was like, oh, I wanna try it. It looks pretty good. And, man he was right. He was absolutely right. That's exactly what it tasted like without the alcohol, and it is fantastic. You need to try it. Alright. But of course, check with your doctor first, make sure that you're able to. It does have interaction with certain medications that you wanna be careful when you take it. So check with your doctor first. So I'm not I'm not I'm not giving you medical advice, I'm not a doctor or anything like that. Although I wish our doctor would be checking in, but he hasn't checked in yet.
Because I'm sure he would support that claim, 100%. But try it out. Try it out. Just go to the alexjonesstore.com/joe. That's the alexjonesstore.com/joe. And remember, every purchase you make, 10% comes right back here to the podcast. And, it's really helpful to us. We really appreciate it. Alright? Also, just wanna remind you folks that, we're coming up in the point now where, since our guest, is not with us yet, we're gonna proceed with the regular show. And, that means we're gonna have to cut the stream. Sorry.
We're gonna have to cut the stream to Twitch, to x, to to, Facebook, and to YouTube. But fear not, because the show continues live on Rumble. You're not gonna get free more free speech anywhere else than you will here at Rumble. Alright? Worth it. Check it out. Now, of course, there are mid rolls during the course of the show. I don't control any of that, so don't get mad at me. But if you want the ad free experience, there is Rumble Premium. You could sign up for Rumble Premium. They have some really great deals going on right now, and, it would behoove you to check it out. Alright. Now, I guess with all of that said, we're gonna have to, start cutting the stream down here. I wanna give our guest I think I filibustered long enough. Right? I've, I've waited, Made some stupid comments.
I actually even set up part of the studio while while we were waiting. But, alright. Well, with that said, we're gonna cut our stream over to, we're gonna cut our stream down from all the other platforms. We're gonna be broadcasting live exclusively here on Rumble in just about a second. So if you haven't if you haven't downloaded the app yet, do it now. Do it now. Do it now. 54321. Alright. Now, for those of you who, once we do cut the stream, we're gonna do something, a little different. I've never done this before. We're actually going to screen share, a large portion of a press conference, and, we're gonna have a lot of fun with that. And we're gonna listen to it. We're gonna we'll have some comment over it as we go along.
And, unfortunately, the folks that were that were gonna cut off are gonna miss it. So, hopefully, you know, they decide to because this was a really important, press conference. And, you know, we really wanna cover it as much as we can. So with all of that said, how about we take a very very short two minute break, come back, I need more coffee, come back and we will, start with with the rest of the show. Folks, this is a live show month every weeknight. I was gonna say Monday, Wednesday, Friday, but it's not looking that way. This is a live show weeknights, 7PM central time, 8PM eastern.
Also, we do a live show on Saturdays, our Saturday spotlight. It's a recorded show, but we broadcast it as a live show. And I think tomorrow we might be doing something different too, if it works. I'm gonna test it out tonight. If it doesn't work, I'll get it. You'll get a spotlight show. And then Sunday. Don't forget our Bible study Sunday, every Sunday at 6PM central time. Alright. So just give me, two minutes, and we'll be back, and, take a look at this.

Up and down, counting down, smiling through the taste of flood in my own mouth. I got bruises and broken bones, but they don't know I ain't in this ring alone. I'm a fighter. No one can say that I'm last bit. Because I hit order when I'm tired. I'm a fighter. I get back up. That's what I do. I didn't soldier on this far just to lose. No one can keep me down. They didn't know, but they know now that I'm a fighter.
[00:23:49] Unknown:
Alright, folks. Just needed a quick minute there to take care of, just a couple of quick things here, and we are done. And we are ready to go. Alright. So I don't know if you could tell or not, but I really do appreciate my president. I think he's doing a fantastic job. I've said it before. I've said it a few times. Yes. I've had my disagreements with him. I know there's somebody out there who's gonna say, well, now, you know, you said you were unhappy because you thought you bombed her in. Yeah. I was. I was.
And I am extremely relieved that it did not end up a long protracted military engagement. And you should be happy about that too because that's not what MAG is all about. That's not what your vote for president Trump should have been all about. Forgot to fix this. See, look, I'm just a mess here today. It's alright, though. We got it covered. We got it. Alright. So, again, we can disagree within the conservative movement, the MAGA movement, Republicans, we can do that. We don't march we don't march lockstep like the Democrats do. You know, we we have opinions, we vocal we vocalize our opinions, we talk about those things, and, you know, we just we we we have free thought.
You know, we're not mindless robots, we're not drones. I think that's actually a pretty good way to describe Democrats. Right? Think about that. Drones, they just blindly follow whatever their leadership does. That's not what conservatives do. That's not what MAGA Republicans or MAGA conservatives do. And, you know, I I'm not gonna say that, you know, I I'm not gonna clearly define myself as 100% pure MAGA. I'm not. My loyalty is to this flag here. First and foremost, this is where I live, this is my home, this is my country. And if you've listened to any of the shows that we've talked, about this quite a bit actually, Our founding generation, which again, I'll say it I'll say it I'll say it every time I say it, every time I talk about this stuff.
This is not to disparage that World War two generation. Alright. The World War two generation, it was a great generation. I mean, these these these young men, they lined up. A lot of them pretended to be a lot older than what they were. They made themselves out to be a lot older than what they were, and they went off and they fought in foreign war to preserve freedom. No doubt about great generation. The greatest generation, the greatest generation is our founding generation. That's right. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams.
Those men and countless others that were all involved with the foundation of this country were the greatest generation. And I say that because they never envisioned one complete nation that there was There were no individual sovereign states, like what is trying to be forced on you now, or what the left would like you to think. No. Our country was founded by 13 sovereign individual countries. That is what the term state means in the political sense. A state is a country. That's why we say the state of Israel. The state of what other ever other country you wanna mention.
The state of Iran. We've heard it referred to this as that as well. So our foundation was individual countries that compacted together for some very basic things. Things like mutual defense and regular trade. That's really it. Other than that, if you if if you were in New York, New York was your country. New Jersey was your country. Rhode Island was your country. North Carolina was your country. South Carolina was your country. You follow me? You you see where I'm going with it? That's why I say that this is my country. This is where I live. This is my country. I love my country.
The union that I'm part of leaves much to be desired, but it's still the greatest that the world has ever seen. The Republic on which we stand is the single greatest experiment in individual freedom and liberty that ever graced the face of this planet. That's where my loyalty lies. I love my president, Donald John Trump. I think he's following through on every promise that he made. You could see his heart. If you really pay a careful attention, you could see his heart. He doesn't want war. He wants legitimate peace. Just today, he signed a peace agreement between two countries in Africa who have been at war for quite some time.
Among all of the other wins, and the great victories that have taken place over the course of the day today, which we're gonna get into here in just a minute. I kinda went off on a little bit of a trail there. But, what we're gonna do now is, we are going to, I'm gonna bring up off of x, the press conference that took place today. And let me see if I can move it here. That might make it easier for me. Let me do that. Give me one second. You'd think I'd be a little more prepared, but I am not. Let me see. Where's the search on this thing?
I do not wanna be looking at Kira Sedgwick right now. That's that's what that's what's up on my screen here. Here we go. Let's do that. Get my handy dandy Bluetooth keyboard. Somehow, someway I just did a screen share screenshot. Sorry. Alright. We are coming up on it right now. Okay. So here's what we're gonna do. I am going to screen share with you this page, from the, from the White House, and we're gonna look at some of the press conference took place today that Donald Trump led, talking about some of the great victories that took place, in the, at with the, Supreme Court. Now I'm sure some of you probably heard about a lot of this stuff already. Maybe you've already seen some of the clips for this, but, this is this is a great day.
This is an absolutely great day. As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, Donald Trump had something to say about it. Let's let's play that, and then we'll get to the core. Well, I think taking power away from these
[00:32:56] Unknown:
absolutely crazy radical left judges is is a tremendous this is such a big day. This is such a big day. It's like, it's sort of sad because we're doing the the signing at 03:00, and I you know, this may very well dominate the signing of a big war that was going on and really affecting the continent of think of it. The entire continent of Africa was being affected. We're settle we're settling that war today. And, this will probably be a headline. But this is a very big moment, and it gives, gives power back to people that should have it, including Congress, including the presidency. And it it only takes bad power away from judges. It really doesn't take it takes bad power, sick power,
[00:33:39] Unknown:
and unfair power, and it's really gonna be it's it is a very monumental decision. Yep. Alright. So we'll get into that in a second. I wanted to play this clip for you also, talking about another big SCOTUS win for the president. This is a really big win for the presidency,
[00:33:54] Unknown:
not just Donald Trump Mhmm. But the presidency. Because what the court has also respected here is that the president is elected by the American people to carry out an agenda, and it's important and right for him to be able to pursue that throughout the country at once.
[00:34:11] Unknown:
So without any further ado, let's, let's screen share this thing, and we'll get to the press conference. And we'll see how this this whole thing plays out. I just saw a very interesting, pop up. Might not be able to do this after all. Let's see. Alright. Are we there? Do we see it? That's weird. Look at that. Check it out. Alright. Didn't quite work the way I wanted to, so let's, let's do it over here then. Just take a second. Sorry, folks. When I tried it out earlier today, it worked fine. I don't know why it's not working right now. Well, Well, I'll tell you why it's not working right now. It's not working right now because I'm doing a show, and that always seems to be the way it works with me.
Alright. Here we go. So, going to screen share this here with you. And let's go back here. Okay. It's not working? Okay. Great. No. That's not what
[00:36:12] Unknown:
we want.
[00:36:20] Unknown:
No. Not what we want either. You know, I hate I can't stand when things work, and they work really well, and then all of a sudden when you try to actually use it, it doesn't work. That's so weird. It really is weird. Alright. Well, unfortunately, it's not gonna work, and that was gonna be a lot of fun. So, anyway, it's just things like this just make me not wanna do the show anymore. It really does. I'm telling you. Oh my god. It's so embarrassing. Alright. Let's get back to the studio here. Alright. Now I got a little pop up here that's I can't close. Alright. Well, having said that, so let's see. Let me see if I have any clips here that I could show you about what happened today.
I didn't pull those clips because, like I said, I tried this whole thing out earlier, and it worked perfectly fine. Well, alright. Anyway, so today, Supreme Court struck down lower courts applying universal injunctions. Supreme Court struck down a lower court injunction blocking the Trump administration's executive order on birthright citizenship, laying out clear rules for courts utilizing universal injunctions going forward. The the case Trump versus Casa concerns universal injunctions that lower court judges have ordered, pausing president Donald Trump's order interpreting the fourteenth amendment as not guaranteeing what is known as birthright citizenship.
The court ruled six three that universal injunctions likely exceed the equitable authority the congress has given to federal courts. The daily signal depends, let me see. Justice Amy Coney Barrett delivered the opinion of the court, which chief chief justice John Roberts and justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh joined. Thomas filed a concurring opinion, which Gorsuch joined. Alito filed another concurring opinion, which Thomas joined. Kavanaugh also wrote a concurring opinion. Now the only dissenting voices, of course, is exactly who you'd expect is, Justice Sotomayor and Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Jackson also filed a dissenting opinion. And what I found really interesting is that Amy Comey Amy Coney Barrett, who has been such a such a disappointment, during this Trump administration that, you know, more often than not, she's been siding with the, with, with the Democrats or the liberal judges, or liberal justices, I should say. Excuse me. I don't wanna be offensive. The liberal justices. So with with that, to to see her actually stand up and defend or side or agree, I should say, with the president and the president's attorneys was really very, very startling to me, anyway.
And, in fact, she she had written the, like I said, she had written the, the the the opinion on this, and, she did not hold back. She actually, which is not usual, not something you usually see in in these, in these opinions that the justices put out, actually went and named Ketanji Brown Jackson in her opinion, for the for the comments that she made. And, I'm gonna show you a couple of those in just a second. So, President Trump took the truth to social today. He posted this giant win to the United States Supreme Court. Even the birthright citizenship hoax has been indirectly hit hard. It had to do with the babies of slaves same year, not the scamming of our immigration processes. Congratulations to attorney general Pam Bondi, solicitor general John Sauer, and and the entire DOJ news conference at the White House 11:30, which I was gonna play for you, but, as usual, wouldn't be my show without a tech problem.
Alright? So, and the president is absolutely right. This is an argument that we've been making for a long time now that that that the, birthright citizenship, the the fourteenth amendment does not apply to, somebody coming into the country, illegally and, having a baby, and then all of a sudden because they have a baby, the baby's an American citizen. Doesn't work that way. That's not that's not how it works. You're a citizen of this country if the both parents are citizens of the country, or at least one of the parents are a citizen of this country. It would be the same thing as if, say for example, you're traveling overseas, you're pregnant, but I know it's kind of, you know, it's it's a stretch because you're not gonna really be flying if you're pregnant and whatnot. But say you, say you did take a trip, you you went to France.
Or or if you wanna keep it low let's let's keep it local. Okay? Go to Canada. Why you go to Canada, I have no idea. But you go to Canada. You deliver your baby in Canada. Does that mean that the child is now a Canadian citizen? And therefore, you're a Canadian citizen now too because the child is? No, of course not. Of course not. You are still an American citizen, that baby is still an American. So why would that apply any differently anywhere else? But it does, if you're a leftist. It does if you're a lunatic liberal nutcase that likes to throw your doors open.
You know, for the for these for these liberals that love to throw the door open, right, to the entire country, come on in everybody in, yay, party. How about you do that your place? Open up your front door and invite whoever wants to come in to come in and stay. Give them all the benefits of of being a part of your family. Eat whatever you want, sleep wherever you want, shit wherever you want, Do whatever you want. It's your house. You're part of the family. You don't really belong here. You're really not part of the family, but we're gonna pretend that you are, and you can have all these great benefits.
Why don't Liberals do that? Do you ever notice that, like, do you remember when, this whole thing with the, when they started busting out these Liberals, these, these illegals. Right? I think Florida, Texas, you know, we sent a whole bunch up to Martha Martha's Vineyard. Do you remember do you remember that? Do you remember how fat Martha's Vineyard was was one of those places that said, you know, we are a sanctuary city. We are a sanctuary place. You can come here, you'll be fine here. And then they got there, and within twenty four hours, the Liberals that run Martha's Vineyard had the military there and got them all out.
Do you remember that? Remember how fast that was? Twenty four hours. They were in and out, just like that. Just like that. Because they didn't belong there. Just like they don't belong in The United States either illegally. Now if you migrate here and you go through the entire process of becoming an American citizen and you do get that that that beautiful privilege of becoming an American citizen, well, yeah, you can wear it wherever you want. And your children are American citizens. Why? Because you are an American citizen. Your child does not does not make you American does not make you an American citizen.
So I don't know when or how the fourteenth amendment somehow got applied to, you know, some lady from Guatemala coming in, dropping a kid, and all of a sudden now they get all the benefits of being an American citizen? Anchor baby? Right? You've heard the term, anchor baby? That's not how it works. Remember that commercial?
[00:46:09] Unknown:
That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.
[00:46:14] Unknown:
The fourteenth amendment was and still is about the children of the former slaves after the civil war that were released and and set free as they should have been. So the fourteenth amendment makes sense in that case. The fourteenth amendment does not make sense if it's you just wanna come to The United States, drop, squat, push out a kid, and all of a sudden that kid's an American citizen, thereby you are too. No. That's not how it works. And that was made very, very clear today. So I'm gonna show you some of the things that, that Amy Coney Barrett had to say about Ketanji Brown Jackson.
And I don't know I don't know if you've really listened to the things that Ketanji Brown Jackson says. It doesn't really sound like she's speaking in the context of a justice of the Supreme Court. She sounds more like she's spouting talking points from morning show talk show. Morning, you know, morning talk shows. Like, there's no like, she doesn't cite any precedent. Nothing. It's it's they're talking points. And that's because she's a DEI hire. She was hired by by Biden's auto pen. But here's what Amy Coney Barrett had to say. Let's go here. Let me take a look at that.
The principal dissent focuses on conventional legal terrain like the judiciary act of 1789 and our and our cases on equity. Justice Jackson, however, chooses a starting line of attack that is tethered neither to these sources nor frankly to any doctrine whatsoever. Oh, that stings. As best we can tell, though her argument is more extreme, still because its logic does not depend on the entry of a universal injunction, justice Jackson appears to believe that the reasoning behind any court order demands universal adherence, at least where the executive is concerned.
Yikes. We will not dwell on justice Jackson's argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries worth of precedent. Not to mention the constitution itself, we observe only this. Justice Jackson decries an imperial executive while embracing an imperial judiciary. Ouch. That hurts. That spot on. Spot on. This is my favorite one. Justice Jackson would do well to heed her own admonition. Everyone from the president on down is bound by law. Absolutely true. Absolutely the case. Absolutely. No one is above the law. They all screamed and cried. Right? No one is above the law.
Not the president, but yet but yet there are some in the judiciary who think that they are. There are some in the in the judiciary who think that it's their job to dictate how the executive, who by the way, is the only, and you should you should know this, this is basic civics, and I don't know if they still teach this in schools anymore, but I learned this in school. The executive, the chief executive of the land, the president of The United States is the only, only executive officer that is directly elected well, actually, I I gotta back that up a second. The president is the only officer of the United States government that is elected by the entirety of the American people.
At the state at the senate level, you know, it's it's, you know, the people of the state vote for the the elected senator. So it's very, very interesting. Now supporters, of course, of birthright citizenship, you know, note that The US has extended citizenship to children of aliens born in The US for more than a hundred years. Yeah. Under a misapplication of the law. Now, what really should be understood here though is that the court, while, of course, addressing birthright citizenship, the the application of the fourteenth amendment, so on and so forth, it really wasn't the the the main subject, the main point of the ruling today. What the what the Supreme Court was actually looking at was the, was, the legality of the lower courts issuing injunctions that implied that applied to the entire country.
Alright. Now we said this some time ago that it's not it's not the, it's not a district courts a district court judges responsibility in Rhode Island to issue an injunction that affects California. Not that California would mind because they're the same mind. But you understand what I mean? New York cannot be telling Texas what goes on in Texas, just like Texas cannot tell New York what should go on in New York. So an injunction that's put in place by a district court judge should only affect the specific individual of that district, not the entire country.
That's what was ruled on today, and that's a huge win. Not just for this president, but for any president, to be honest with you. If you if you wanna be fair and you wanna really keep it on even and level playing field, it it it's for every president. It's not just Donald Trump. Although Donald Trump is gonna is gonna benefit this. You're talking, you know, these these these universal injunctions have been around for a while, and they've been used by both sides. Alright? There's no innocent party here. Both sides have used this for the last, like, five administrations.
So the win here today is that the Supreme Court finally stepped in, and finally said, no, you can't do that. Stick to your district. That's where your rulings should be in effect. The whole thing with forum shopping, because that's what all this is, of course. You know, the the Democrats, they find that they find the subject that that they find offensive, everything. And they they they forum shop. They look around to see, okay. Well, who can we get that can put something, you know, stop this thing and, you know, at least temporarily? And if you don't know what forum shopping is, basically, what it what it really is is, you know, a party's file that, you know, goes out, files a lawsuit in a certain area, you know, where there are are judges that are that are friendly to what or at least who they believe will issue injunctions on their behalf.
So that's that's basically what forum shopping is. So, from town hall, it says, breaking the Supreme Court rules that nationwide injunctions likely exceed the equitable authority that congress has given to federal courts. And I'm telling you, I really wish I really wish I could've had that that thing work for you. I really do. Because there was there was there was some really good moments in there. Like like for like, I had this clipped already, but this is like one of those moments that I really wanted to show you.

Should by the way, so many questions. Should we keep this going, Pam? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
[00:55:47] Unknown:
Yes
[00:55:55] Unknown:
You tell me when it gets boring. I'm
[00:56:02] Unknown:
telling you that, you know, this this man first of all, he's hilarious. He's hilarious and you can see his sense of humor there, you know, poking fun at, of course, at Joe Biden, which is not hard to do. I mean, it really isn't, but if you want an example of of his sense of humor, before I get into some more serious stuff, because I have some great clips of the left absolutely melting down over this. I'm gonna show you that, but I wanna show you this. JD Vance, was speaking at a Republican conference and he, he he told this great story about about Donald Trump's sense of humor.
And, it's it's really funny. It's about only about forty seconds. I'm gonna play this, and then then we'll get into the the, the meltdown of the liberal media.
[00:56:49] Unknown:
And the president looks over over at me, puts the foreign leader on mute, and says, this is not going very well, and he presses the red button. And and I my eyes get really big, and I'm like, mister president, you know, what what just happened? And he's he looks at me and he goes, nuclear.
[00:57:09] Unknown:
New nuclear.
[00:57:12] Unknown:
And two minutes later, a guy walks in with a diet coke, and he looks back at me and he says, it wasn't nuclear. It's just the diet coke button. And that's so that's the kind of guy, my fellow Republicans, that we have as the president of The United States.
[00:57:30] Unknown:
You see, that's that's that's a great I love that. That's great sense of humor. I I appreciate that, because I would be like that. I I truly would. I would be like that. At any rate, that's the sense of humor he has. And and the the press conference was a lot of that. There's a lot of serious stuff in there too, but it was a lot of that. I wanted to play this clip to you for you too. This is the, solicitor general, John
[00:57:56] Unknown:
Sour. Universal injunctions followed. Talking about the universal injunctions. Twentieth. District courts have now issued 40 universal injunctions against the federal government, including 35 from the same five judicial districts. This is a bipartisan problem that has now spanned the last five presidential administrations. Universal injunctions exceed the judicial power granted in article three, which exists only to address the injury to the complaining party. They transgress the traditional balance of equitable authority, and they create a host of practical problems.
Such injunctions prevent the percolation of novel and difficult legal questions. They encourage rampant forum shopping. They require judges to make rushed, high stakes, low information decisions. They circumvent rule 23 by offering all the benefits but none of the burdens of class certification. They operate asymmetrically, forcing the government to win everywhere while the plaintiffs can win anywhere. They invert invert the ordinary hierarchy hierarchy of appellate review. They create the ongoing risk of conflicting judgments. They increase the pressures on this court's emergency docket.
They create what justice Powell described as repeated and essentially head on confrontations between the life tenured and representative branches of government, and they disrupt the constitution's careful balancing of the separation of powers.
[00:59:23] Unknown:
So you heard what he said. 40 injunctions. 40. 35 of them from the same district, same five districts. Isn't that isn't that insane? That is absolutely insane that that takes place. But it does. But it does. So before we get to the, the the liberal meltdown, let's, let's take a look at what Fox News had to say about SCOTUS' ruling today.
[00:59:56] Unknown:
Ace? Okay. Yes. So this is at least a partial, if not a full, and we're reading this because there are several concurrences here. But it's written by Justice Barrett, which goes against the ruling that I just gave the guidance because she's one of the least junior justices, but she was assigned to write this opinion. And essentially, what she says, she says, some say that the universal injunctions give the judiciary a powerful tool to check the executive branch. But she says, federal courts do not exercise general oversight of the executive branch. They resolve cases and controversies consistent with the authority congress has given to them. When a court concludes the executive branch has acted unlawfully, the answer is not for the court to exceed its power, sounding very much like they are limiting these injunctions. We know here that they have granted at least partially, the stay to these preliminary injunctions, but they say only to the extent that the injunctions are broader than necessary to provide complete relief to each plaintiff with standing to sue.
They say the lower courts have to move expeditiously with respect to each of these plaintiffs, says the injunctions are also stayed to the extent that they prohibit executive agencies from developing and issuing public guidance about the executive plans to implement the executive order. If you remember, part of this executive order on birthright citizenship, the stay was that the agencies that would be responsible for actually implementing the change with birthright citizenship, those agencies couldn't even start making a plan. So that part of it is lifted as well. We do see that the descent here comes from, the the three, justices you expect. It looks like, justice Sotomayor filed the dissent. Kagan and Jackson joined that. Justice Jackson also filed a dissenting opinion, but there are a lot of concurrences here.
Justice Thomas, justice, Alito, there are others. So we'll parse through this, but at its first blush, it looks like this is a win in putting a limit on these nation wide injunctions.
[01:01:44] Unknown:
We'll see how far those limits go as we dig back through this. Got it. They want wanna bring Jonathan Turley back in. Shannon, thank you. So, Jonathan, it sounds like this is kinda what you were mentioning early sick, earlier. So, so Fox News covered that, and then, of course, you have the meltdowns. I'm gonna see if I can play this, at least the audio of it. Let me see.
[01:02:08] Unknown:
Thanks to this decision, we can now properly file to proceed with numerous policies that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis. And some of the cases we're talking about would be, ending birthright citizenship, which now comes to the fore. That was meant for the babies of slaves. It wasn't meant for people trying to scam the system and come into the country on a vacation. This was in fact, it was the same date, the exact same date, the end of the civil war. It was meant for the babies of slaves and it's so clean and so obvious. But this lets us go there and finally win that case because hundreds of thousands of people are pouring into our country
[01:02:49] Unknown:
under birthright citizenship and it wasn't meant for the babies. That I wanted to place right now. For the babies of slaves.
[01:02:55] Unknown:
So thanks to this decision, we can now properly file to proceed with these numerous policies and those that have been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis, including birthright citizenship, ending sanctuary city funding, suspending refugee resettlement, freezing unnecessary funding, stopping federal taxpayers from paying for transgender surgeries, and numerous other priorities of the American people.
[01:03:23] Unknown:
So wonderful, perfect points, by the way. Again, like I said earlier, this had to do with the issue of the children of slaves. And the president pointed out, I didn't realize this, and even I know it's funny because I listened to this earlier and I watched the whole press conference, and, I don't remember him saying that, but, you know, it could be one of those Mandela effect things. I don't know. But, yeah. So so this ruling actually came down on this on the day that the civil war ended. You talk about coincidence?
There are no coincidences. No coincidences. None whatsoever. So, of course, you know, the, the the, you know, the liberal meltdown begins. Here is, MSLSD.
[01:04:15] Unknown:
Not able to issue nationwide injunctions.
[01:04:17] Unknown:
Okay. Thank you. Stand by. And I know you wanna dig into the case. So we'll let you do that, Julia. I'm gonna bring in Lisa Rubin. You just pulled it up. What are we learning? We're learning today that the court by a six three majority, Anna, has decided
[01:04:31] Unknown:
to stay the injunctions partially. They're saying that they will grant the government's application for stays, but only to the extent that the injunctions are broader than necessary to to provide complete relief to each plaintiff with standing to sue. And let me go back, a second, zoom out for a second if I can. One of the questions here was if the court was going to stay these injunctions, how were they going to do it? Were they going to say that each injunction could only apply in the district where it was entered? In two cases here, those districts were actually statewide, the district of New Jersey, the district of Massachusetts.
But the other question was, or could you limit it to just the plaintiffs in these particular cases? Remember that two of these three cases are brought by states. So how this changes that result? What does it mean then when the individual plaintiffs who have standing to sue are states. Does that mean that we're going to get sort of a patchwork result as one of the attorneys general, Matt Plattkin of New Jersey, described to me in an interview earlier this year? Does that mean that citizenship could be conferred solely by an accident of birth? And he described to me a situation where citizen or a resident of his state gives birth over a state line in Pennsylvania, for example.
What happens if a New Jersey resident gives birth in Pennsylvania? New Jersey is a plaintiff to these cases, Pennsylvania is not. If the child to two undocumented immigrants is born in Pennsylvania, what is the result with respect to that person's citizenship? These are a bunch of questions that are now going to result. But at the very least, we are going to see a circumstance where the president's executive order curtailing birthright citizenship is going to effectively
[01:06:27] Unknown:
be allowed to be implemented in certain states, but not in others. Okay. So so Leah Littman, what does this mean for Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship? Is it now in effect in certain places, just not in the places that initially were where these cases were brought?
[01:06:46] Unknown:
So, unfortunately, that is going to be worked out by the lower courts on remand because what the Republican justices decided is as to the individual plaintiffs who filed suit, courts cannot award them nationwide injunctions. That is the only thing courts can give these individual plaintiffs is a determination that their children would be United States citizens. But as to the states that challenge this executive order, the supreme court says, we are not deciding whether a nationwide injunction whether a nationwide injunction is necessary to provide the states with complete relief, and therefore, they send the case back down to the lower courts to make that determination initially.
Now that doesn't mean the executive order is going to go into effect immediately. The executive order indicates that it contains a thirty day period in which the administration will create some sort of guidelines and process to figure out how it will be implemented. And during the oral argument, the solicitor general said their position is that thirty day period had not started because the lower courts hadn't joined the executive order before it went into effect. And so, therefore, there will be at least a thirty day period before the executive order is allowed to go into effect. And, again, during that period, it's likely that lower courts will be determining whether the states, in order to remedy the harms that this order causes them, can receive nationwide relief.
I just want to note the democratic appointees' strong dissents in this case. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson calls the court's decision an existential threat to the rule of law. Justice Sotomayor's dissent says no right is safe in the new legal regime the court creates. She calls the court complicit in a grave attack on our system of law. The reality is the Supreme Court's Republican justices took away lower court's single powerful tool, the most powerful tool for reining in the Trump administration and holding them accountable to the law.
[01:08:53] Unknown:
Chuck, let me get your reaction. This sounds like a giant win for the Trump administration and could likely trigger chaos now across the country.
[01:09:02] Unknown:
Well, let me address the second point first, Anna. And since you have Leah and Lisa on, I'm not sure why you would ask me anything. They're both way smarter than me, but it strikes me You're all brilliant. No. Well, I'll prove otherwise in a moment, Anna. But, it it strikes me that now individual plaintiffs in almost 100 separate federal judicial districts can seek individual relief. If a federal district court judge in Seattle can't enjoin nationwide president Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship, but could only do so in the Western District Of Washington where he sits, then, similarly situated plaintiffs, women who would give birth to a child who would otherwise be a US citizen, could bring suit in Maine and in Vermont and in the Northern District Of Florida and everywhere in the country. And right now, you have, in my view, binding Supreme Court precedent from an 1898 case that says these women would win.
This is a procedural decision from the Supreme Court. It's not a substantive decision on the underlying executive order. It
[01:10:17] Unknown:
So didn't realize it was such a long clip, but a lot of inform a lot of information there. Question. So if you guys are listening, and you wanna take a second, could you just let me know if there was a problem with your audio? Because, I had stepped out to use the restroom there, and I have a monitor out in the other room for the kids to watch. And it sounded like the the, the audio was doubled up. So, let me know if you had an issue with the sound. Please drop a comment down below. If you're in the live chat, you can just leave a message in the live chat. I'm looking at it right now. Let me know how that is. This way I can let Rumble know that there are continuing issues with the studio.
Alright. Let's see. What else? Hopefully, the next clip doesn't have that problem. Because then I'm really up the creek because that's the rest of the show. Alright. Let's see. Let's look at, the next clip here. Number five.
[01:11:14] Unknown:
States, during the years long interim period Right. Until a final decision Right. It takes years. Correct. And he is conceding here what was made transparent at oral argument. It was a concern of justice Kagan. It was even a a concern of justices Barrett and Gorsuch. This presumption of if what you're doing here is unlawful on the merits, why do we have to wait so long for it to come back to us? And yet, by a six three majority, you've got a permission structure here now to have this, at best, patchwork application of the executive order unless and until the court renders that decision on merits. The other thing I wanna do, Anna, is pick up on something that Barb just said about sort of what it means
[01:11:59] Unknown:
to live in a place where this does Yeah. We're having that problem again. So but then again, that's fine because that's really what liberals sound like. Right? Just a lot of noise. So, I had a whole bunch of really fun clips to watch with all this liberal, you know, mess. What a disaster. Absolute disaster. Alright. I'm gonna try one more clip, and let me know if, if you got that same issue there. This is, let me just pick a random clip that I had. Hold on. Let's let's try this one.
[01:12:38] Unknown:
Trust me. In Washington, DC, they have this thing where I think it's it means we're number one in Washington, DC, but all the pink haired people throw up this sign. And I think, you know, that means we're number one. Right? That's that I choose to take that as that symbol in Washington. But all kidding aside
[01:13:00] Unknown:
Yeah. It's all the clips. Alright. Well, there goes that. So can't screen share, can't play clips, and all that great stuff. But you know what? It's Friday. So we'll, you know, we'll just we'll just call it a night at this point. Let me I got some do I have any Let me see. Maybe I can do this. Did that already. Perhaps I have Alright, well, we could do this. Let's let's do this. Let me just take care of this really quick, and then we will get into some of this stuff. Something I haven't been doing, that I should be doing a little bit more regularly, is talk about things that are going on here in Texas.
Because originally, when I started this podcast as a podcast, and not even so much as a vidcast, my intention was to spend half the show on, you know, government, national news. I hate the term national, it drives me nuts. But, national news and politics and so on and so forth, and then the second half of the show would be predominantly about, Texas issues, including, local issues here in Eagle Pass, and which, by the way, we're we're we've been talking with, our new mayor, Aaron Valdez. And, he's gonna be, joining us, I think, sometime next week. So we'll we'll keep you updated on that. Possibly here in the studio with us, but I'll let you know.
But so we wanna talk about some some state issues, some local issues here in Eagle Pass, and then, of course, you wanna tie that all together with, Texit. You know, everything's in the camera, so Texas independence. So, in Texit, you know, I'm a member of an organization called the Texas Nationalist Movement, which is, an organization kinda like a political action committee that is, seeking separation of Texas from the, rest of the, American Union to stand as a free and independent country once again as it once did, and basically on its own in the world, and, which can be done very easily. Texas would be a huge wrecking a a huge force to be reckoned with, both economically, militarily, and just a powerhouse, an absolute powerhouse. I think Texas, if I if I if unless it's changed, the last time I looked at it, Texas if Texas was on its own, it would be the eighth largest economy in the world.
Alright? So that's pretty good. That's pretty good. It's one of the larger country. It would become one of the larger countries, and, it would be a a a powerhouse, an absolute economic powerhouse. So, you know, it can happen. I think it will happen. I hope it happens in my lifetime. But you see, the thing is that Texas is not looking to leave the union, violently. So I wanna make sure we understand that because that is not what TEX IT is all about. TEX IT TEX IT is seeking separation through the legislative process.
That's how this works. It's not through violence. It's not through, it's not through any other means or why that came up. It's not through any other method. It is strictly through the legislative process. So with that said, the Texas Nationalist Movement is hold on. I am having so many problems here. This is, like, ridiculous. It really is absolutely ridiculous. So the Texas Nationalist Movement, is an organization of of of about 700,000 members right now here in active members here in Texas, do everything from setting up booths at public events to, having wreath laying ceremonies over at, at the Alamo once a month, setting up tables there, talking to people, getting people interested and involved in understanding what exactly it means for Texas independence.
And I'm very proud to be part of the organization. I am I'm a member here. I'm down in Maverick County. I am currently sitting as the deputy county. Wow. I just had a brain freeze. Deputy county coordinator. There we go. Okay. Oh, man. Not a good night. I knew I shouldn't have done a shuttle night. I knew it. So the the organization has placed, candidates up for election. They have taken the Texas First Pledge. There are more candidates or actually more representatives in the state house right now that are Texas First Pledge signers and are committed to, to seeing Texas lead the way and to, put the concerns of Texas first and foremost above anything else.
Beautiful. Absolutely perfect. That's what you need. And the Texas Nationals Movement holds their feet to the fire. There are more people now in favor of Texas leaving the union than there has been in the past. Prior to this this recent election, with President Trump, polling was somewhere around 60%. 60%. Now if you understand that, that explains why at the state level, there have been so many blocks, so many, so much obstruction of trying to get this referendum out for a vote because it's popular with Texans. And those because don't forget, Texas is a Republican state. It's a red state, even though the Democrats even though the Republicans here become more demic more like liberal Democrats than than Republicans.
Those establishment Republicans have done everything they could to keep it from coming to a vote, to keep the referendum off the ballot. Because they know that if it does if if it does go to a vote, it will pass the vote. And then there's all of the issues with the establishment, losing control. So of course, they can do everything they can to keep it from coming to a coming to a vote. But the momentum is there, and it's gonna keep on growing, and it's gonna keep on getting stronger and stronger and stronger until it's unavoidable. And again, I'm hope I'm really hopeful that it's gonna happen in my lifetime. I'm hopeful. I'm optimistic about it, and I think it needs to happen. And it's not just Texas, you know, there are so many other states right now that are out there.
If I'm not mistaken, there are 25 states or so, 20 to 25 states that have a, a secession or separation, referendum working its way through the legislative process. Just Just think about that. And it's not just red states either. You know, you're talking California, and sad sad to say, but I think California's even closer to, to to to getting their referendum before for a vote at the state house, they're they're closer to it than Texas is, which is ridiculous to me. I mean, it really is, but, hey, there are plenty. Even at this even at the smaller local level, there are counties that are looking to secede from from other from from from from their state and and join it with another state.
It happened. It's a natural thing. It's like, like like like it's been said to me many many many times, and I I use it. I'm not it's not original with me. I borrowed it from, you know, a few people here or there. But, the truth of the matter, you know, if you are in an abusive relationship, there's only so much abuse that you're gonna be willing to take before you have to walk away from it, before you have to separate from it. It's a natural occurring thing. So it shouldn't surprise anybody when we talk about it. It shouldn't surprise anybody that there are people who actually wanna see their state succeed, and not get abused by a federal monstrosity.
Because look, even though Donald Trump is the president of The United States, even though you have these, you know, these MAGA Republicans that are fighting very hard, I'm not saying nobody is, I'm not saying they're not, that they're fighting very, very hard to get this beast of this federal government under control, it's still an abusive relationship. It's just that right now, there's a little bit of reconciling. But think about it. Think about this. When and I'm just gonna go recent history. When, Barack Hussein Obama became president, what was one of the first things that he did?
Well, he marched into the Oval Office, he took out his pen, and he signed a bunch of executive orders that overturned executive orders that were from the previous administration. When Donald Trump won his first term, what did he do? Well, he marched into the Oval Office, took out his pen, and he signed executive orders that overturned the executive orders of the previous administration. And then when Joe Biden stole the election and was installed as the, figurehead president. We know now that one of his staffers was actually in charge. And he pulled out his pen and the auto pen.
Pulled out the pen for, you know, the camera purposes, but all the executive orders that were signed, that we were told were signed by Joe Biden, were actually signed off by an auto patent that was controlled by Neera Tanden, one of his close aids. We hit all those orders that were signed, whether it was physically by Joe Biden or the auto pen, all they did was overturn the executive orders that the previous administration had. And then what happened when when when Donald Trump took over this past January? Jumped in there, pulled out the pen, signed all these executive orders to overturn the executive orders from the previous administration.
And what'll happen, should the Democrats steal the next election, presidential election, whoever they install will come in, pull out their pen, and sign off on all of these executive orders to overturn the executive orders that president Trump signed. That overturned the executive orders that Joe Biden did, that overturned the executive orders that Trump did the first time, that overturned the executive orders that Obama did, and so on and so forth. There's no stability. Nothing is codified into law. So right now, yeah, the border's under control.
Great. I live in a border town. So it's great that the border's under control. It is absolutely beautiful it's under control. Love it. Great. But that's only temporary. It's only temporary. Because the next open border globalist deep state plant in the Oval Office is gonna undo everything that closed the border, because they want that mass migration. They want to flood the country with illegals. They want to tax the system as much as they possibly can until it breaks. I don't wanna be here when that happens. Texans don't wanna be here when that happens. Any border state should not wanna be here when that happens.
So that's why I say it's an abusive relationship, because the beating may have stopped now, but it's only gonna start again in the next four years or so. And we'll be right back where we were the last time. All the tax revenue that the state takes in that sends up to Washington DC that never comes back, that gets spent on all of these programs and all of these things that that that the average tax paying citizen does not want it going to. That's why I say taxation is theft. It's taken from you at the point of a gun and distributed out to things that you would never pay for yourself.
All done in your name. That's abuse. And it's time to stop that. And the way you stop that is by organizations like the Texas Nationalist Movement, the TNM, advocating for a a peaceful separation from the abusive partner in the relationship. That's what has to happen, and that's gonna have to happen soon because the instability is going to continue. And like I said before, I'm I am thankful that Donald Trump is the president. I am. Because I think that he's he's legitimately concerned about the safety of the American people. I really do believe that Donald Trump's concern is for economic prosperity for the entire country.
I believe that. When he says he's America first, I believe him. I trust him. But it doesn't change the fact that this is an abusive relationship between the states. Remember, go back to what I said at the beginning of the show. Our founding generation viewed each individual state as a separate country that only came together and compacted for mutual defense and regular trade. The intention for the federal government under our founding generation was to for it to be so small that you wouldn't even know it existed, that it would not even impact your everyday life.
But look at the beast that this has become. This is a reason. This is the reason why it's time to separate. Again, I'm thankful that Donald Trump is the president of The United States. I love him. I think he's doing a great job. I love the fact that he puts America first, but it's it's a reprieve. If you think the previous administration was bad, if you think the auto pen presidency was bad, wait till you see what's gonna come down the road. Haven't haven't you noticed that it has become progressively worse? The only reprieves that we've had have been the two terms of Donald Trump because he put America first.
And you can tell. You can tell because the deep state, the globalists, are doing everything that they possibly can do to derail him. They've tried to kill him twice, that we know of. Now I know you're gonna say, well, you're going off on a on a tangent now. What does that have to do with Texas? And Texas has a lot to do with it. It's a lot to do with it. We only have him for so long. And again, he's doing a great job. I love it. Thankful for it. But But I gotta think about what's coming down the road, what's next. Because each administration that took that that has been here, other than Donald Trump's administrations, have looked globally.
They were globalist. We're all one big happy family. Well, we're not. Aside from the fact that we eat, sleep, and shit just like the same people that live over in in England or France or Germany. That's the extent of it. It's time to have that conversation. Remember, the the the the average lifespan of a of a republic, which is what we are, is about two hundred fifty years, and that's where we are. And each year, or if you wanna say each administration, we drift further and further and further away from our founding principles. The occasional reprieve comes, the occasional reprieve, where we have the globalist coming to us for and begging us and and and basically kissing our feet.
You saw that with president Trump at NATO. But once he's gone, and once you have one of their deep staters in there, It's gonna get worse. And like I said, if you thought the if you thought the auto pen presidency was bad, wait until the next globalist deep state or globalist deep state approved candidate gets into office. Wait till you see what happens. So why do we wanna wait? We don't wanna wait. We need to actually leave now while the leaving is good. Call me a traitor if you want. Secessionist. He's a secessionist. That doesn't bother me. It it really doesn't.
Because it's natural, it's normal. When the abuse gets to the point where there's no turning back, where there's no hope for real reconciliation, it's time to go. It's time to go. Texas, it's time to go. So let's take a look at some some really quick headlines, and then we'll wrap this thing up for today. So this is all Texas stuff. Governor Abbott issues last minute veto of Texas THC ban. The ban on THC products quickly became a hotly debated issue during the eighty ninth Texas legislative session. A session, by the way, that was really controlled and run by the by the Democrats, even though it was a Republican controlled house, because the Republican controlled house gave, committee controls to Democrats.
Explain that one. Explain explain that one to me like I'm a New Yorker who moved to Texas to get away from that bullshit. Just before the June 22 midnight veto deadline, governor Greg Abbott axed Senate Bill s b three, which would have banned the manufactured sale and possession of hemp derived t h a THC products. Otherwise known as banning THC in Texas, s b three allowed products to be sold that contained, CBD. I can't pronounce the actual word for it, but CBD. Cannabidiol or CBG cannabidiol, but with a 21 year old minimum age for purchase. S b three also would have required packaging to be made without bright colors or cartoon images in order to not be attractive to minors. The law also would have prohibited retailers from having stores within a thousand feet of a school.
The, Texas Hemp Business Council wrote, governor Abbott showed real leadership today. Texas is stronger for it. This is after the veto came out. The Hemp Industry and Farmers of America said Abbott's veto demonstrates his intentional, thoughtful commitment to protecting public safety as well as his commitment to the future of well-being of Texas farmers, small businesses, and the workforce dependent upon a legitimate hemp industry. Throughout the eighty ninth session, s b three was one of the most hotly debated bills as both lawmakers inside the Pink Dome and the activists outside of it made an effort to swing opinion in their direction. Abbott had not made his known his views known publicly before the clock struck midnight Sunday. He told reporters last week that there are meaningful positions and concerns on both sides of the issue, and I'll look into both of those and evaluate all.
Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick was the leading advocate for the legislation producing on the ground videos at retail stores and holding multiple press conferences detailing the issues he sees with the current status quo of the hemp industry. The bill was one of Patrick's tops top legislative priorities, and the lieutenant governor did not mince words after the veto. He said, quote, throughout the legislative session, governor Abbott remained totally silent on Senate Bill three, the bill that would have banned dangerous TAC products in Texas. His late night veto on an issue supported by a 105 of a 108 Republicans in the legislature, strongly backed by law enforcement, many in the medical and education communities, and the families of those who have seen their loved ones' lives destroyed by these very dangerous drugs leaves them feeling abandoned.
I feel especially bad for those who testified and poured out their hearts on this on their tragic losses. I will have much more to say at a press conference tomorrow in Austin. In a recent survey of Texas voters, 61% of respondents opposed s b three going into law with 44% of Republicans opposing the ban being signed, while 66% of independent and 80% of Democrats, we're gonna go. Democrats are against it. A March poll found that 68% would support keeping THC legal with strict regulation like age restrictions and warning labels. So governor Abbott, vetoes the, THC ban.
Abbott calls a July special session, including THC ban human trafficking affirmative defense. Senate bill three among the bills the governor called for further consideration. So they're gonna be coming back in July to revisit some of these issues. Let's see what else. The, Texas Court of Appeals rules against San Antonio taxpayer funded abortion travel. Paxton described it as a as it as forcing taxpayers to subsidize subsidize abortion tourism. State of Texas successfully sued the city of San Antonio to prevent it from using taxpayer funds. Now you remember, San Antonio is a a very liberal city here in Texas.
San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Austin, all very strong liberal Democrat controlled cities. The state of Texas successfully sued San Antonio Brennan for use of tax credit for foreign support to travel after the city recently appropriated a $100,000 for its reproductive justice fund. Attorney general Ken Paxton filed suit in response to this move by the city, council in April arguing that it would assist residents in defying Texas law that bans elective abortions with select exceptions, such as in order to save the life of the mother and that it would enable abortion tourism. So the, Texas Court of Appeals, put a stop to that.
Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board directs university presidents to identify nonresident students. Then we have, senator Joan Huffman announced her bid for, Texas attorney general because, as you know, Ken Paxton is is running to, to unseat John Cornyn, which I would love to see happen, but I would hate to lose Ken Paxton as my attorney general. The ACLU of Texas seeks legal challenge to Texas parental bill of rights. Let's Let's take a look at that. With governor Greg Abbott's bill signing deadline passed, the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU of Texas, is planning to launch a lawsuit challenging the recently approved parental bill of rights. Senate bill s b 12 was authorized was authored by senator Brandon Crichton, who explained the legislation during a senate education k c k dash sixteen committee hearing in February as reaffirming the parents are the chief decision makers for their children and making clear their fundamental role in their children's education, moral, and religious upbringing is paramount. I agree with that.
Completely agree with that. The legislation details that those parental rights include the ability to direct the moral and religious training of the child and provide consent to medical, psychiatric, and psychological treatment of the parents' child. Additionally, s b s b 12 places prohibition on diversity, equity, inclusion, duties, including requiring schools to adopt a discipline procedure for any employee who intentionally or knowingly engages in or assigns DEI duties. Beautiful. Perfect. You have to kill DEI.
You have to kill DEI before DEI kills you. S b 12 includes a prohibition on schools assisting in the social transitioning of students and also restricts the instruction of sexual orientation or gender identity, while providing that it does not limit a student's ability to engage in speech or expressive conduct protected by the First Amendment that does not result in material disruption to school activities. Alright. Well, that's a good one. I like that. That's very good. Let's see. And you probably heard this one already. This one's more national news too. But, Carmelo Anthony, has been indicted on a murder charge for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalfe in Frisco.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis has announced that Carmelo Anthony has been indicted on first degree murder charges in the killing of Austin Metcalfe. On April 2, Metcalfe, a 17 year old junior at Memorial High School in Frisco, was fatally stabbed while at a track meet in, Kykendall Stadium. Police apprehended Anthony who, according to police reports, told officers at the time, I'm not alleged. I did it. And he also alleged allegedly told police that I was protecting myself. Anthony was arrested and charged, then released on bond and placed on house arrest. Willis stated, for weeks, my team has been presenting evidence to the grand jury.
Today, I summarized that evidence and I asked the grand jury to return a first degree murder murder indictment against Carmelo Anthony, which they did. Willis mentions that this case has struck a deep nerve here in Collin County and beyond. It's understandable when something like this happens at a school event, it shakes people to the core. While the Frisco Independent School District confirmed to Fox News that video surveillance footage of the incident exists, it would not be releasing it to the public. Current, current revolt requested the security footage of the incident at, Kykendall Stadium, but was denied as it contains images that personally So, no date has been set yet for this trial.
