In this episode I kick off our afternoon crypto hour with resident crypto psychic Marisa Lee after wrapping a marathon earlier show. We dive into the current lull in the market, the government shutdown overhang, and why November still looks promising historically and intuitively. Marissa flags potential near-term volatility tied to SNAP funding and broader unrest, but remains confident the shutdown ends this month and a bigger move is brewing. We talk portfolio mindset—patience over panic—and specific projects she’s watching: DIA as a compelling oracle play with 2026 upside potential, BitTensor (TAO) as a top AI crypto standout with Bitcoin-like supply dynamics, steady conviction in Solana as a long-term beast, and opportunities created by dips in names like Algorand and Morpho.
We also touch on PayPal’s stock upside drivers (stablecoin, crypto rails, online gaming) while noting platform caveats, and close with practical security guidance on cold storage wallets (Ledger and Arculus) and a reminder to only buy direct from the manufacturer. Beyond markets, we reflect on how macro headlines can spill into crypto, the power of karma in politics and life, and a heartfelt moment on faith and purpose. Big thanks to Marissa for another insightful session—here’s to staying patient, diversified, and focused on the long game.

Marissa Lee.
[00:05:09] Unknown:
This is a first
[00:05:10] Unknown:
for me, anyway. It's the first time I've done two shows in one day. And we did a marathon show. Finished that just a little while ago with Ruben from the Now You Know Eagle Pass podcast. And now we're gonna get started here very shortly as soon as, our resident crypto psychic, Marissa Lee, joins us. And, we're gonna start talking some crypto business. Crypto business. But regardless of that, until she checks in here, so what do you think, folks? How'd you like the show, earlier today? I think that was great. I I thoroughly enjoyed having Ruben here with us in the studio. That I thought was great. It was a lot of fun, and, it was something that, that, you don't know how those in person studio guests are gonna go. Right? But, you know, Ruben and I hit it off really well on the phone earlier, in the week when we had our conversation, and, it was great. I mean, I three hours we went. We went an hour more than what we were really going to do. And, but it was a great time. Had a lot of fun talking to him. Great guy. And we are definitely gonna be collaborating some more in the future in the upcomings. And then, again, like I said, we're waiting on, on Marissa Lee DeDarenas, our resident crypto psychic, and I see her down there at the bottom of the screen. So we'll bring her here in momentarily. But folks, just don't forget that this show is brought to you by podhome.fm, the most modern, easy to use podcast hosting platform on the market today. Alright. Now, waiting here in the wings, our resident crypto psychic, Marissa Lee. Hey, Marissa. How are you doing? How's it going? It's going. Never did two shows in one day. This is a first and, the voice is hoarse. We did three hours on the last show. I don't know if you're able to catch any of that. That was a lot of fun. We had a great conversation. Ruben's a good guy, and, I think we're gonna be doing a lot of good things together, in the near future. But it was great, and it was and and actually, the in studio guest, which is not something I generally do. And I think that made a world of difference. So it it because that's just the way the conversation flowed. It's just spectacular. What's going on with you? What's new?
[00:09:04] Unknown:
Oh, not a whole lot. I just finished my November crypto report. I haven't published it yet, but I plan on doing that either later today or tomorrow.
[00:09:12] Unknown:
Okay.
[00:09:13] Unknown:
So yeah. You know, the crypto market's a little dull right now. You know, things are kind of in this, like, limbo stage with the government shutdown, but I do see things heating up soon. So,
[00:09:26] Unknown:
amazing things are gonna start manifesting in the crypto market. We just kinda have to be a little patient right now. Patient on it. Yeah. I was actually I was I was talking to Ruben about that, telling him about the show that we do. And, I was like, you know, she's spot on on just about everything she says. You know, so the only thing that's given us both a headache is is this bull run that we have been talking about. Yeah. I know. You know, but, I don't I I think it's coming. I I just don't know when. I mean, you I think you would have more insight to that than I would, but, it's like, oh, no. Not just because of the tariff stuff, but but also because you actually monitor the market. So you're watching these things a little bit more carefully than I am. So, so, I do think it's gonna come. I'm just I'm hoping to come soon.
You know, because I wanna see crypto explode. I I wanna see just how it's gonna affect everything else in the market around it. So, so I'm hoping on that. Any any insights on that? Have you had any anything come along your way that would indicate that it's still on the way?
[00:10:23] Unknown:
You know, from the beginning of the year, I always felt that November was gonna be a good month. Whenever I did a month by month tarot spread for any crypto, I always saw really I always got really good cards for November, and November historically has been really good for the crypto market. The thing that we're battling right now is the government shutdown. That really needs to end, and things kinda need to start getting back to some kind of normalcy. Have you heard anything about SNAP benefits? Like, are those have those been approved? I haven't really paid attention to the headlines today, and I know it's November 1. So Yeah. No. I haven't heard anything. I I know that,
[00:10:58] Unknown:
the last thing that I heard was a, a federal judge is trying to compel the administration to use the emergency funds they had set aside, to to fund the SNAP benefits. But I haven't heard if it has happened yet or not. So I I really don't know yet, but I'll find out before probably before the end of the day today.
[00:11:18] Unknown:
So the thing that concerns me, and I hate even, like, putting this out there, but, if those SNAP benefits are not approved, like, soon, the thing that I fear is riots. I I and that's the that's that's the thing that really has me a little bit nervous right now is is that happening. It's not like a guaranteed thing, but that's one thing that I could see happen. And,
[00:11:45] Unknown:
yeah, I don't know. Well, if you go by TikTok and and, on Instagram reels and all that stuff, that's what a lot of folks are talking about too. They're talking about these Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I I a lot of it, I think, is just a lot of bluster. Okay. But, some of it, I I could actually see I'm I I could actually see some kind of discord taking place. I had to think about the word there for a second. I I could see some discord there, and and I don't think it's totally intended either. I think I think that the reason why the government the reason why they they're unable to get to this particular point is because I think the Democratic party really wants to see some unrest to make, the current administration unpopular, and, and to take advantage of the, the the anger of of the people. Unfortunately, 42 to 46,000,000 people in this country are dependent upon SNAP benefits, which I think is utterly disgusting.
That in a in a country like ours that that affords people the opportunity if they're willing to put the work into it, would have so many people dependent on this thing. But also, a lot of it is generational. A lot of it is not, you know, I I like people who actually need it, I have no problem with that. You know? Right. But but if if you are on TikTok and Instagram and all that stuff, and you're bragging about how your grandmother's been on it, your mother's been on it, now you're on it, and and your kids are gonna be on it, and this is a lifestyle for you, then that that I have a problem with that. Yeah. You know, and I think that's what this I think that's what the the far left wing of the Democratic party is trying to push for. They're trying to push push that and foment that kind of, anger and frustration to to try to to to for whatever whatever means or whatever their intention really is.
[00:13:30] Unknown:
I have my theories on it, but I'm not gonna throw out it's not the show for that. We're gonna talk You know, here's kinda where maybe, like, I'm a little bit in the middle. You know? And I haven't really done a whole lot of research on this. I have been immersed in my November crypto report. It takes me quite a long time to write, and there are a lot of questions this month. So, I was really focused on that. I did see a couple headlines of, like, some Democrats saying, oh, Trump won't approve this. And and so they were blaming him, and then he comes and he says, oh, a judge said that I couldn't use emergency funds for it. So I I and I didn't even get a chance to look into it or what anybody was really saying other than just looking at a couple different headlines. So I don't really know entirely what's going on, but the the feel that I got from that was that if this is not resolved, there's going to be riots. And the feel that I got was, like, paid riots. It starts as paid riots, and then everybody else jumps in, and it's just gonna Well, that's yeah. That because I really I really I really hope that doesn't happen. Oh, so do I. I mean, that that that's, you know, nobody wants to see that stuff take place. But the the the fact of the matter is this is, unfortunately, you know, the Democratic party's mess. They're they have the control on this. Yes. I I hear the argument, well, you know, the Republicans control the House, the Senate, and White House, and they can dig no. You need 60 votes in order to get this thing approved and passed in in in the Senate. The the this, this continuing resolution that they've voted on 13 times in the past, and have approved 13 times in the past, and now here we are 14 times into this, and now they won't do it.
[00:14:56] Unknown:
But, it's it's really they need 60 votes, and all 53 Republicans have voted for it to pass it. They still need some Democrat votes, so really is the the ball's in their court, and they won't vote for it. And yet, they try to blame the Republican party for it, when there's not much else that we can do. Unless they go nuclear and they and they, get rid of the filibuster, but then if they do that, then you're opening up a can of worms in the future. So Yeah. You know, it's it's it's a very it's a very tricky kind of situation for for to be in. But, I think they're doing the right thing. I think they're holding the line on this thing, and they're gonna, you know, the Democrats, they're gonna have to own this at some point. But like you said, I'm I'm concerned as well that it's gonna turn out to be violent. You're gonna see some unnecessary things happening.
And the last thing you wanna see is anybody, you know, getting getting injured or, god forbid, you know, losing their life over something like this is just pathetic. Yeah. So That really is. But I know that's not why we're here today. We're not here to talk about these these these things. I guess I guess maybe, like so we're when we talk about the crypto market, like so everything is kinda tied together. Right? So if we're in a situation where riots are breaking out in all the major cities,
[00:16:09] Unknown:
and people are going nuts, because I've seen that before, It makes me a little bit iffy about the crypto market. That's that's the thing that I'm, like, kinda struggling with because believe it or not, it shouldn't be tied together, but it is. You know, it's like Trump announced tariffs and then poof, everything just tanked. And I'm like, really? You know? So you really do have to kinda look at some of these headlines a little bit. And so that that's just kind of the part that, over the last, like, maybe twenty four hours, I started feeling a little bit nervous about and maybe I'm a little bit out of the loop because I don't really pay attention to, you know, political news unless it has to do with crypto. But then I'm like, wait a minute. This could affect crypto too. So I'm like, I don't know. I guess we just kinda have to give it a week and see what happens. Right now, today, the market's starting to go up, and so I was, you know, a little bit happy about that. But, you know, I don't wanna I don't wanna get my hopes up too high.
You know, it might not be till the end of the month that things get resolved. I do see the government shutdown ending this month, so that's good.
[00:17:05] Unknown:
Yeah. I don't I don't I don't see it lingering on too much longer. It's it's it's gonna come to a breaking point that's gonna have to business is gonna have to re resume. So I think it's gonna be very, very soon. I'm I'm actually I I honestly thought that you're gonna get a a last minute arrangement last night into into this morning, but, that that didn't happen as far as I know. I'm sure I would have heard about it already if I did.
[00:17:31] Unknown:
Yeah.
[00:17:32] Unknown:
For sure. Excuse me there. I am I am fighting a a a very, very bad cold.
[00:17:38] Unknown:
So Oh, no. Oh, yeah. Working so hard today.
[00:17:41] Unknown:
Yes. Yeah. I actually I started feeling sick yesterday. I woke up yesterday morning all congested and, you know, just all phlegmy and and and all that stuff. Worked all day, did the show last night, and this morning I felt like death on two legs. But, you know, here we are. We're trudging along. Trudging along. And when I'm done with you, I have to run out. I have to go assemble some furniture for a friend or with a friend. So Oh, wow. Fun. Yes. Fun. Yes. Looking forward to Are you gonna watch the World Series? Nah. I don't have a dog in the watch the World Series. I don't I don't have a dog in the the year. I don't have a dog in the hunt, so I don't I don't care. Mhmm. And to be honest with you, every you know, I lost interest in in following sports, professional sports. I mean, I I'll check it out once in a while, but or maybe I'll watch a little bit here or there. But I I kinda lost interest in it when I hear a bunch of millionaires complaining that they don't make enough money to play to play ball. I get it. But And then and then all of a sudden, you have all this this woke bullshit getting thrown into into the, openings of the games and all that stuff.
That's not I'm I'm not interested in that stuff, you know. You know, just do your thing. Play ball. That's what you're getting paid to do. You know, you're a performing monkey. That's all you are. Just do it. You know, don't care about your political opinions.
[00:18:56] Unknown:
Sorry. I hear you. I hear you. You know, when I watch baseball, I have it out in my office, and I'm usually on my computer doing work. And, I don't really pay attention to any advertisements or anything that's going on other than the actual game, so I haven't even really noticed anything. But I also wasn't paying attention. So Yeah. So I I get you. I get you. But I I guess I don't know. I I I just paid more attention to that those little things that
[00:19:19] Unknown:
and then they get to me after a while. So so it's one of those things. I understand. Yeah. So, so let me ask you this. So so, any, any new cryptos that you're interested in?
[00:19:30] Unknown:
So I came across one that I really like, and this came from one of my Patreon members. So, in my Patreon group, I usually throw up a post, twice a month, and I'm like, ask any question you want, and then I'll put it in my next report. I try to get to the majority of the questions. I wanna say I get to, like, 90% of them. I'm not at a 100% because people, you know, throw questions at me at the last minute, and I just can't do it. But, Dia, d I a. So this is an Oracle blockchain that I really like. Today, it's at 51¢ a coin. I see this hitting the $4 range in 2026, so that's a nice little profit margin there. I feel like more adaption is coming with this, and, this is this is a good one to have in your portfolio, Dia. Yes.
[00:20:13] Unknown:
That's the right one.
[00:20:15] Unknown:
Yeah. No. It's not a straight shot up. It's not like it's gonna go from 51¢ to $4. Right? It's gotta be up. It's gonna be down. But I feel like overall by the end of twenty twenty six, at some point in 2026, it'll hit that $4 range. So that's a price point to look for for Dia, and, you know, that's a pretty good profit margin. So, I I'm liking it. I'm not saying, you know, to throw thousands of dollars into it. I would never advise anybody to do that. None of this is financial advice. But this is one of the ones that, was pointed out to me that somebody asked me to review, and and I really like it. So I'm putting DIA on my buy list. How long has DIA been around? Because this is the first Oh, that's a because this is the first time I've heard of it. So Yeah. Me too. Me too. There's so many cryptos, though, you know, when you think about it.
I'm not sure how long d has been around, but I like it. For whatever reason, I see it doing well. And I reviewed, I don't even know how many cryptos, at least a dozen, I would say, in my November crypto report. And I would say, like, every crypto report I do, I probably review about, you know, somewhere between eight and twelve cryptos. And they're all cryptos I haven't looked at already. So, this was one that really stood out. So that that's definitely a good one to have. But, you know, another one that's doing really well this month is BitTensor. That is golden. So last month, I was looking at some stats.
When I published my October crypto report, it was at $322 a coin. Today, it is at $504 a coin. Wow. So yeah. Yeah. It's doing well, and the market's down. Like, everything else is down, and I'm like, there's four cryptos on my buy list that went up this month and which is really surprising with, how the market kinda tanked, and it's been it's kind of at a lower level than it was a month ago. So, it's interesting to see how these cryptos run. They're not all running together all the time, so that's why it's really important to have a diversified portfolio.
[00:22:11] Unknown:
What about, what about Solana? What's going on with Solana?
[00:22:16] Unknown:
I love Solana. Solana is just gonna continue to grow. It's a beast. I see this hitting so somebody asked me, what is the price of Solana gonna be in 2030? And I'm sitting there thinking to myself, like, 2030. I mean, five years from now. Well, coming up maybe four years because we're almost at the end of 2025.
[00:22:37] Unknown:
Can you believe that? Wow. I can't believe we went through 2025 already.
[00:22:41] Unknown:
I know. Time flies by so fast when you're having fun. Right?
[00:22:46] Unknown:
Tripping with sarcasm.
[00:22:48] Unknown:
Yeah. Right? So I did a I did a lot of, like, meditating on this, and I I ran cards, and I I really looked into this. And, I got a $4,000 price point for around the year 2030. Now this is a loose prediction. Okay? Like, very loose. In 2026, I see a price point of Solana coming, I wanna say it was did I say $1,400? I swear I put this in my last crypto report. I think it was $1,400. 1,400. Yeah. No. And and where is it at today, Solana? Can you pull it up? Yes, ma'am. I think we're let's see. I think we're, like, in the one eighty range or something like that. The market's a little bit down.
[00:23:31] Unknown:
Yeah. It is, $1.83 31.
[00:23:36] Unknown:
Okay. Yeah. So I was right. Yeah. It's gonna start really running in 2026. We're gonna see a lot more projects coming up on the Solana blockchain. It's solid. I love it as a long term investment. And this is definitely one of those cryptos that I recommend that people have in their portfolio long term. You know? Some Some people talk to me about retirement and how am I gonna pay for my kid's college. And I'm like, you know, Solana is definitely one of those that I think that you'll be able to do well with in the long run. I have some Solana. I don't have I don't have a lot. I I have some. And,
[00:24:09] Unknown:
you know, but I I stopped being one of those panic people, you know. I I just whatever I have, if I can add to it, I do. Unfortunately, at the moment, I really can't, but if I if I can, I do? But I don't play with it. I don't keep checking it. I remember I asked you not too long ago, how often do you check your portfolio? I don't I don't even look at it, because if I look at it, it's gonna drive me crazy, and I'm gonna be, you know, looking at all the dips in the valleys, and and panic and end up, you know, like, I gotta get out of here and, you know, recoup what I what I lost. But, I'm just letting it ride. I'm not I'm not wasting too much time worrying about it. I trust you. That's why.
[00:24:48] Unknown:
Oh, well, thank you. I appreciate that. You you know, a a great example of Solana. I I bought Solana. I can't remember what year it was. It was they had a big outage, and they went from over the $100 price point to $8 a coin. And everybody was, like, doom and gloom about Solana. Oh, Solana's gonna go out. Don't get out of Solana. And everybody pulled out of it, and it was when it when it dropped down to $8, I bought a bunch of it. And I was like, yeah. I know that this is gonna be around for a while. So, that was one of the best investments I've ever made. I I mean so, like, when it's in the $1.80 range, you know, when it dips down to $1.50, I don't care. I'm still in the profit zone. You know? If it goes up, great. If it goes down, I literally don't care. And and people will get to the point if you're in crypto now, even just a year from now, where they're not gonna care if it goes up or down because they're gonna be so far in the green that it's not gonna affect them that much. Yeah. I I guess the the the trick is just to be patient.
[00:25:46] Unknown:
Yes. That's the hard thing is to just be patient. Let it run its course. It'll it'll make its own corrections. It'll and in the long run, you're gonna benefit out of these things. You're gonna profit from it. So at least that's what I've that's what I've been taking out of, you know, watching the the crypto markets, especially since you and I connected, Paying a little bit more attention to these things because I would buy a little bit here, a little bit there, and, you know, just hold it for a little while, watch it drop. I'm getting out and run. But but, yeah, I I I think, you know, the the main thing is patience. You gotta sit there and wait. Give it give it a chance to do its thing. Let the markets correct itself.
And as I think that's the best advice I can give anybody, you know. Again, not financial advice, invest at your own risk. So
[00:26:25] Unknown:
Well, yeah. And, you know, I had somebody make a comment in my Patreon group, like, I regret buying Solana and or not Solana, Algorand. So because Algorand took a little bit of a dip over the course of the last month. I think it's, like, in the eighteen cent range, where it was, you know, kind of floating in that that 20¢ range prior. And, you know, I was telling people to buy Algorand, like well, I'm not telling people suggesting, not financial advice. Banners up. To get into it when it was, like, in the $17.18 cent range back in April. So if you listen to that, you'd probably just be even right now. Okay? Or maybe in a very, very small profit margin.
So just because Algorand, you know, dipped down a little bit, that is an opportunity. And I'm gonna I'm gonna give you an example of an opportunity here. Morpho, was a great example. So, you know, it recently dropped down in October to, like, the $1.31 range where if you bought it then, and today it's worth $2.02 a coin, you'd be at a really good profit margin. Right? So when we take these big dips down, and they don't necessarily last long, maybe it lasts a week, maybe it lasts two weeks, maybe it lasts a month, whatever. It doesn't matter. I mean, Morpho is a great example of how you can really take advantage of these big dips in the market, and you can make some fast cash if you want to if if you get into the right cryptos. And I do feel like Algorand right now is an opportunity. So, you know, if you miss that Morpho dip, get into Algorand.
Even if you already have a lot of it in your portfolio, you're gonna get to the point where you are gonna feel like you don't have enough Algorand. And I saw this a lot with XRP in the beginning. You know? Like, for years, prior to me really getting on TikTok and starting doing the starting to do the crypto, Taro thing, I was I a lot of people were talking about, oh, I already have XRP. I already have XRP. And then XRP shot up, and then everyone's like, oh, shoot. I wish I bought more. You know? So you can say to yourself, oh, I have so much of this. I have so much of this. But when it starts shooting up, you can never have too much, and that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
[00:28:37] Unknown:
Oh, yeah. For oh, for sure. I I I have XRP, and I'm I'm look. It it like I said, it's gonna take dips. You just gotta ride it out. Just be patient. Let it do its thing. And even that as it is right now, I wish I had more of XRP. You know? So what was XRP's price right now? I was trying to I was trying to get it, but it didn't come up.
[00:28:57] Unknown:
I think it's in the $2.50 range. I'm not let's see.
[00:29:02] Unknown:
Better than $2.51. Yeah. I got it. $2.51. Yeah. It's down a little bit right now, but not bad. Not horrible. And at $2.51, that that's that's just it's it's a good price to start buying into it.
[00:29:16] Unknown:
Yeah. Because I do feel like this is gonna have a big shot up before the end of the year. So, XRP is still a buy. I for me, XRP is a buy under $3 a coin. Now that doesn't mean that when I say that, I'm personally buying it, and I and I have to disclose that just because, you know, whatever. I I got into XRP at 50¢. So, you know, I'm good on XRP. I'd rather put my money if I'm gonna put new money into the market, like, into projects like Algorand. I really like bit bit tensor. I like OriginTrail. I like Morpho. So there there's a lot of different, projects that I think that you're gonna make a good profit margin on.
[00:29:55] Unknown:
So, I I know you don't really deal with stocks much, but, good. What do you think about some some upcoming stocks that that are being offered? What do you what any recommendations?
[00:30:09] Unknown:
You know, I can't say that I pay very close attention to the stock market, but in my Patreon group, I do, have people that ask me to review different stocks. And I found one this month that I really like. And maybe it sounds a little bit cliche, but I see the PayPal stock doing really, really well over the course of the next year. And let me tell you why. So they're involved in some kind of online casino. It's called Highfive Casino. I've got a good feeling about that. And I they're also involved in the crypto game significantly. I mean, they're they're big players. They created their own stable coin. Mhmm. The PayPal stable coin. So that's that's nice. And then, also, you can buy crypto on their platform.
So let's say, you know, you wanna send money to your mom or something like that, and you send her $20 through PayPal because you owe her $20. Okay? She could take that $20 and, convert it into Bitcoin. I mean, that's awesome. That's amazing. I don't recommend using PayPal to buy and sell crypto or to hold crypto. I feel like, in general, I've seen people in the past have a lot of problems with PayPal, accepting payments and and so on and so forth, like, from a business standpoint. Mhmm. People just get shut off, and it's that's pretty scary. So and I don't know what happens to your crypto if you bought crypto on that platform, and then your PayPal account gets shut off. I don't know. So I don't necessarily trust it, but I do feel like they're gonna get more into the crypto AI game, and they're just gonna keep developing, and they're involved in so many different things that I see their stock doing really well. I so, when I looked at it, their their stock price was $69. I see this hitting a $175
[00:31:54] Unknown:
a share over the course of the next year. So I'm I'm actually reading Or about that range. Yeah. I'm actually reading, on the browser here. It's, PayPal stock predictions for 2025 very significantly across different sources. CoinCodex is forecast to trade between $58.22 and $73.00 2 in 2025. Average annualized price of $61.96, which is roughly where it is right now. And then twenty four seven Wall Street projects more optimistic price target of $81.15, and it goes up to, like, $1.25 36 by the end of the year. So, yeah, you're right on target. Yeah. Absolutely.
I know with with the see, I don't trust PayPal either, to be honest with you. I don't trust them for anything, to be quite honest. Yeah. Unfortunately, that they're the biggest that you could use, you know, to to do the stuff that we do. So, I don't trust them. But as far as their their their, crypto stuff goes, I know they do have a stable coin like you said, and I think it pays like 3.8 or something like that on interest, 3.8%, which is not bad, you know, considering you're getting nothing in a regular savings account, you know. But Yeah. But, I don't know. I like, I I was kinda flirting with the idea. Last time we spoke, I was kinda flirting with the idea of putting some stuff into the stable coin, into the PayPal stable coin.
But I don't I don't know. It's something something in the gut says not to, so I haven't done it. And I
[00:33:29] Unknown:
I want you to listen to that. I'm not, like, crazy big on PayPal in general or there's stable coin or their platform, but they're contenders, and I see them doing really well over the course of the next year. You know, there's Tether as a stablecoin. There's USDC as a stablecoin. I I did convert a little bit of crypto not that long ago, into PayPal. It was just like a $100. I just kinda wanted to, you know, see how it worked or whatever. And, out of a $100, they took, like, $5 in fees. I was like, really? Yeah. So they're they're taking a little bit for sure off the top, and I feel like I always feel like they take a little bit too much in general, but I still see them being successful regardless of that. And I know a lot of people don't really like PayPal because, you know, over the course of many years, somebody's gotten screwed over in some way, shape, or form. Whether they bought something and they didn't receive it or maybe, they sold something and then somebody disputed it because they make disputing, you know, really easy.
A little bit too easy in my opinion. But they're still major players. You know? So they're not going anywhere. Not anytime soon anyway.
[00:34:37] Unknown:
But they they also they also I I'm gonna I don't know how they are politically anymore, but I know at one point, they were actually shutting down accounts that, you know, for for content creators that, had different different political views than what the the company corporate, had at that time. So I don't know if they're still playing that game or not, but, you know, that's where a lot of the distrust comes in with PayPal. Yeah. But, again, unfortunately, they are the biggest and the most well known and the most widely used platform that, you know, for the for the service those types of services.
You know? So you gotta, you know, just gotta hold your breath and
[00:35:16] Unknown:
I also feel like because I I do get the sense of growth with them. I do feel like they might chill out when it comes to stuff like that. I feel like, you know, they might just not be so harsh and so picky. Like, the way that they have been in in the past is is kind of the feel that I'm getting. So, because I do feel like they've scored a lot of people, and they need to get people back on their platform. And they're gonna be successful with that. So whatever they have plans for in 2026, I I feel like it's gonna be successful.
[00:35:46] Unknown:
Alright. Now and I'm in the past, we've talked about, methods of of of, protecting your assets, your your crypto assets, and and you're you're very big on cold storage, cold wallet storage. And I think I may have asked you this before. I I feel like I did, but I don't I don't I don't remember. And my head's not exactly screwed on right now, kinda kinda tired. But, you talk about cold wallet storage. Any particular device that you would recommend or is there particular, method of cold storage that you would prefer to use? Yeah.
[00:36:19] Unknown:
I would go to ledger.com and, get a ledger. It's a few $100. It's worth it. Or you can go to arculus.com. I'm not exactly sure how to spell it. Go into Google and just type in Arculus cold wallet storage. That's what I'm doing. It might not it might not just be arculus.com. I I feel that I'm saying this out loud. I feel like it's something else. But, anyways, the Arculus is just like a little credit card that you hold up to your phone that you have to have, hold held up against your phone in order to send in order to send crypto from it. Okay? So what it does, it it just adds that, extra layer of protection.
And and it's a little bit easier to use than Ledger, but Arculus doesn't have as many crypto options. It's a little bit limited in that sense with what cryptos you can put on there, and it can be a little confusing. Yeah. There it is. There it is. I like Arculus a lot. And then you can also buy crypto on that directly on that platform. I mean, you're gonna pay fees for it, but it's yeah. Yeah. I really like that. It's very easy to use. I also like ledger. And the key to using these cold wallet storage devices is you wanna order it directly from the manufacturer's website. You never wanna go into Amazon. I don't care if it's sealed. I don't care if it's from the best seller in the world. The ledgers that are sold on third party sites have a much higher risk rate where they could potentially have some malware in them where you could lose your crypto.
You know, there was a guy that, it was all over YouTube and social media. His name was Brandon something or other. He lost, like, $3,000,000 worth of XRP, and he had it in a cold wallet. And not through Ledger or Oculus. It was some it was some other wallet I'd never heard of before. But he thought it was cold wallet, but it it was a hot wallet because he installed the software on his phone, and it included his private keys. So, you know, there's all kinds of security issues with these, cold wallets. And the two that I have found that are safe are Ledger and Arculus. I really like those. Tangem's okay too. I've I've done some research on them. They're okay. I don't personally use Tangem, but, yeah. Yeah. And you use Ledger?
Maybe, maybe not. Yes. I do. I do. I know you do. I don't wanna put too much, information. You you know, I I get But you told us that already. I've I've had, you know, hacker issues, and I actually had somebody try breaking into my house last month. That was fun. Really? Oh, I didn't know that. But, yeah, I don't even wanna talk about that. I'll I'll tell you privately. Yeah. Yeah. No. For sure. For sure. So Yeah. There's there's
[00:38:54] Unknown:
yeah. I got I got you. Less information I put out there in the back. No. Yeah. You're you're fine. You're you're fine. But but you definitely you would recommend Ledger or Arculus. Right? Is that the one? Arculus. Yes. Okay. Awesome. Because I I I do wanna I do wanna look into some of this stuff for myself. I'm just not sure what the best for because I don't I don't have a lot in crypto, so I'm just not sure, you know, what would be the best option for me, at the level that I am. I know you you probably way way beyond where I am. But, alright. So cool. I'm gonna bookmark this. I can help you with that. Okay. Cool. Cool. So I'm gonna just set up. I'm gonna bookmark this way.
Both of them this way. Okay. Very cool. Very cool. So, now AI stuff, that that's that's big. And I've been talking a lot about AI, the last couple of shows I've done too. As far as crypto goes, what's your top AI crypto for 26?
[00:39:47] Unknown:
BitTensor. All day, every day. You know, when you go into Google and you type in, like, AI cryptos because I was just looking for, like, lists. Like, give me the list of AI cryptos. And they they rank them by market cap, and BitTensor is always number one. And when I the first time I looked at it, I'm like, I know that this one's gonna do really well. So there's gonna be AI projects that, for whatever reason, uses this software, this whatever it is they got going on there is is a feel that I'm getting. And there's not a large supply of coins. And whenever you see that like, for example, Bitcoin's only 21,000,000 coins available. Right?
And Bitensor has the same supply as Bitcoin. So when I saw that, I'm like, oh, there's such potential here, especially with the way I see AI, adapting more on the blockchain. Yeah. That's that's a top dog. And it's and it's telling when the market is so down, everybody is kind of in the red. Like, if you were to buy crypto in October compared to where you're at now, you're probably in the red, but not if you bought BitTensor. So that is one definitely one of my top AI picks. You said BitTensor? Bit tensor, b I t t e n s 0 r. It's also known as TAO, t a o.
I hope I'm saying all this right. I mean, I remember the first video I made on this. I I called it, bit and sore, and I was very, quickly corrected. So so now it it's interesting. Like, if there's a name that I just totally don't know how to pronounce, I'll go into YouTube, and I'll type it in there. And I'll listen to other people talk about it so that way I pronounce it correctly. When I put when I put in tau, it brings it brings me to, bit sensor.
[00:41:33] Unknown:
So Bit sensor. Yeah. Bit sensor.
[00:41:37] Unknown:
I know. It's hard to say. Right? Well, it's yeah. It's weird. Who names these cryptos? There's some weird names I don't know. It's just cryptos out there. There there really are. And I'm just like there was one that I saw recently, Clanker. And I'm like, clinker? Because it was, like, shooting up. And I'm like, who names their crypto clinker?
[00:41:54] Unknown:
You know, it sounds like
[00:41:56] Unknown:
I don't know. I'm up to bat, and I'm gonna go hit a clinker. You know? I don't know.
[00:42:00] Unknown:
Maybe. Baseball mindset today. Well, it could it could be, I'll just say clunker maybe. Mhmm. Not too sure. No. That that's a car. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's a car that doesn't do very well. Yeah. Yeah. So, so, you know, and may may maybe that's what they're trying to indicate. The well, it's it's okay for now, but it's gonna go from clunker to clunker. Mhmm. Who knows? Who knows? But, well, we already talked about the government shutdown. I wanted to ask you about that. Let's see. What else we got here for you today? Let me see.
[00:42:35] Unknown:
I I got one for you. Go shoot. A little bit a little bit not related to crypto, but, you know, how do I put this? I see karma coming for some politicians. I really, really do. I think in 2026, we're gonna see more politicians step down, for whatever reason, you know, excuse after excuse as to why they're stepping down. But, really, I feel like they're just they're gonna have a lot of pressure on them. There could be some criminal charges for some people, and I do see, like, serious karma coming back to some of them. And and one of the one of the people that I really, dislike, I'm not gonna say hate. I I I'm just gonna say I just dislike this person, is Pritzker.
I really don't like him.
[00:43:27] Unknown:
Yeah. There's something really, really, really shady about him.
[00:43:31] Unknown:
Yeah. There's something about him that just gets under my skin, and it's been building for years. And, I do feel oh, he is gonna have a legal loss in the next three months. It's gonna be a significant legal loss. I came up with that yesterday, and I'm like, oh, maybe I'll include that. He is going to have a hard time over the course of the next year. I think that he's up for reelection, in November. And I don't know if I have that correct, but, I he's gonna have a rough time, coming up here soon politically.
[00:44:02] Unknown:
I mean, not, like, in anything else. I think a I think a lot of the governors right now, especially in in the, the deep blue states are gonna have some issues coming up in in for their reelection. But I know Kathy Hochul up in New York is gonna have a have a big issue. She's she's just all over the place, and she's a horrible governor. She's just absolutely terrible. And I watched New York because, you know, my family's still up there. So I I try to pay attention to what's going on up there. And, and and not only that, but I think also the the guy that's running for mayor, who's probably gonna end up winning, mom Donnie.
You know, the the the the there's a little bit of a dispute there going on between the two of them, Coke, Kathy Hochul and, mom Donnie right now because he's over here promising all this free stuff, and, the governor's saying, well, there's there's no money for those free things. So, so there there's there's there's some things going on. Because and I think that stems from the fact that the, Mamdani was asked at a at well, the three candidates were asked at a recent debate, if they would endorse Kathy Hochul for reelection, and none of them did. Including Mamdani, who she overwhelmingly endorsed, for mayor. So I so there's some troubles brewing over there. But, I agree with you. I think there's gonna be quite a few, problems coming up Yeah. Elected of some some of these governors, and local local leadership that's gonna be, pretty pretty difficult roads to to travel for them, in the kind of coming months.
[00:45:36] Unknown:
I I think Newsom is another one I I'm really not a big fan of. And I don't pay attention a whole lot of of about what's going on in California. But something did come up on one of my feeds when I was scrolling one night, and it was Spencer Pratt. He's married to that, Heidi something or other. I think they had a reality show years ago. I didn't really watch it. I don't really watch a whole lot of TV. But he really is all over Newsom about these fires and where money went and everything. And and the feel that I got from that was, oh, that's true.
That's true. And I saw a TikTok that he made. I I don't know if it was, like, a week or two ago, something like that. I don't follow him closely, but every once in a while, he'll come up. And, he was saying that he was almost run off the road, and I do I do feel like there's substance to that. Really? He's uncovering something that is much bigger than he even realizes. And, and then I look at the governor. I'm like, wow. Like, it's just sad what America has come to. You know? And, I don't know. I I see karma coming for some of these politicians. I really do. And I and when I say karma, I mean, it's it's what you put out there. So, like, for example, if you go and you give a speech and you give this rah rah speech and we're gonna help everybody and we're gonna take care of everybody blah blah blah blah, and you get the funding that you need to do that, and then you take that money and you do something else with it. It and or let's say you only take a small percentage and you give it to where it was supposed to go, and then you do something else with it, and there's some kind of other ulterior motive. Like, I'm telling you that does come with karma. And and you might not be called out on that or even caught publicly, but god sees stuff like that. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. They really and truly. And and when you're trying to inflict karma on other people, this is something else that I have, been seeing more and more of.
Let's say you feel somebody did you wrong. Okay? And you do something in reaction to that Mhmm. To bring them karma because you feel like they did you wrong. Oftentimes, that will hit you about 10 times harder because it's not your place to do that. Right. And I've seen that over and over and over again. I see it a lot in divorces, where people use the law to get their get back or or gain a little bit of an edge Yeah. In a divorce, and they lie about stuff. I've seen that happen. Just all kinds of circumstances of karma, and I'm telling you, karma is real. And there are people like, I I I've known some people that think that karma doesn't apply to them, and it does.
[00:48:20] Unknown:
Unfortunately, yeah. It it's it's that, you know, it's karma. It's what comes around goes around. It's what you reap what you sow. I I I firmly believe in that, you know, because I've noticed, I've seen things, you know, in my life where, you know, the whole reap what you sow kind of thing is that, you know, I know some I know I know somebody who went out and was doing extremely, extremely wrong things, you know, behind the behind their partner's back. And, man, when that thing turned around and bit them right in the ass, you know, you reap what you sow. You know, know, you're gonna put you're gonna go out there, you're gonna put yourself out there, you're gonna do things, you're gonna get yourself jammed up big time. And, everything it's a it's a cycle. It's a circle. Everything goes around. What comes again, what comes around goes around. It's just it's it's a law, like, you know, it's like it's like cosmic law.
There's there's there's no there's no way around it, and you could try. You could try to push things aside. You could try to say, no, that doesn't apply to me. No. It's gonna get you. It's gonna and it's gonna, like you said, 10 times worse. You know, I wanted to ask you actually, last time we spoke, you said you were going to church. Oh, yeah. How did that go?
[00:49:31] Unknown:
Great. Great. I love mass. You know, I had a a terminally ill family member that I took care of for years, and and, unfortunately, she passed. But she was very Catholic, and I'm not Catholic, but I would go to mass with her. And I really miss her, and I I don't know. I just had this feeling like I just need to go to mass. And so, I went to mass, and I would I was thinking about going today. But, you know, we're doing this a little bit later in the day, and then the World Series is on. And I gotta get my crypto report out. So I'm like, oh, maybe I'll maybe I'll go a different day. Priorities, man. Priorities.
Yes. Yes. I I might actually convert at some point. I don't know. We'll see. You know, I'm a gay tarot card reader, though, so they'll probably be like, you're living in sin. You know? And so I I don't really need that. But I do enjoy the mass, and I I enjoy the saints, and I enjoy, you know, the principles behind it. And so I I do feel that, like, I have my own personal relationship with God and the saints. Very strong,
[00:50:29] Unknown:
powerful energy with those saints. I do remember when we first met, you told me about a Padre Pio experience. Yes. So yeah. Oh, yeah. I remember I remember you telling me about that, and I remember you know, you even said it back then that that it was you you you felt a very strong connection. And that just Yeah. You know, that's that's a very it's very interesting. It it really is. We we have to go back to that and talk about that sometime when we have more time, you know, to to talk about those experiences that you've had because, you know, it's good to refresh the audience and get refresh their memories, you know. Because we've been doing this now for for how long about six months now?
Has it been that long? I think so. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. I think I think we had Well, from the from the from our initial meeting up until now, I think it has to be at least six months. Yeah. Probably. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. That's awesome. And, you know, it's and it's funny because, you know, back then when we started doing this and I it it was I don't know. It was just something about your profile. I don't I don't know what it was. I I just said, yeah. I I wanna talk to her about this stuff. And, and I think you said something similar, like, you don't usually accept invitations, you know, to come on shows and stuff, and and and you did on this one. And, this has been a great it's been a great experience for me, and I really do appreciate you. And I appreciate everything that you brought to the show, and, you know, I'm looking forward to doing a lot more with you. And, you know, it's just it's you you see how this that's how the universe works.
Right. The universe knows when you when you have a particular, or you need something, or a particular direction to go in your life and they put the right people in your path. And Mhmm. You're my crypto guru.
[00:52:08] Unknown:
Well, I'm happy I'm happy to help, and I'm really grateful for your platform. I I know that, I get a lot of, comments on my Patreon and messages, and and I do a lot of private readings. And people are like, I love your podcast. I'm like, oh, you mean Joe's podcast? It's not really my podcast. You know? But I'm I'm really grateful for I'm just a hoot on him. Feel like it gives people, like, the opportunity to, you know, kinda just hear us loosely talk about, you know, the crypto market and, you know, what's going on. And and, also, it it also puts me a little bit in front of a new audience so, like, we can get this message out. So I want people to get excited about crypto. I want, like, somebody that is not even interested in crypto to go out and get some and hold it for a while and make some money. You know, do something good for your family and for yourself. Like, that is what I wanna do. I wanna put out I want I wanna help people make money. I've I you know, I've always kinda done that, I guess, when you think about it. Like, even as a web developer, I would, like, help businesses make money. But, I mean, there's such a need now for the individual to build something for themselves, and and I wanna get that message out there. And and you do. And that's and that's fantastic because, you know,
[00:53:15] Unknown:
what comes around goes around. You know? You you put something good out there, something good and positive out there, and it looks gonna come around to you. You know, it's it's like there's a there's a great bible verse too. I'm I'm gonna paraphrase it because I can't remember at the top of it exactly how it's worded, but, you know, it's it's give and it shall be given unto you. You know, press down measured. It's you you're gonna get it back in tenfold. So Yes. You gotta keep doing the right thing. You gotta and you're doing it. You're doing a great job and I appreciate you. Anything else for us? Because I I gotta go put together furniture in a couple of minutes.
No. I I think that's about it. Alright. Alright. Well, resident crypto psychic, Marissa Lee, thank you so much for being with us today. And, I'm sorry that my voice is fading. I'm just
[00:53:57] Unknown:
I'm winding down here. You're good, Joe. You need to get some rest. You need to take some time off and, like, just relax and watch a good movie, you know, eat some soup. Gonna do that later. Yeah. After I put together furniture.
[00:54:09] Unknown:
