Well, hey, folks. This is Joe Rusciello, and it is great to be with you once again on a beautiful Thursday night here on the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass. And, our goal here tonight is to bring you the best quality talk radio that we can muster without all the bluster. Welcome to the podcast. Folks, I'm gonna tell you something. Not really very happy. Not really very happy at all, to be quite honest with you. The, the last few days with the show has been, difficult to say the least. It's been, it's been hard to get the show in because of the technical issues that we've been having.
It's just been frustrating to no end. Do do I don't think I don't think anybody really understands just how frustrating it is when you spend an hour doing the show. And then after the show is done, you go back and you you you check the audio file and sounds beautiful, perfect. And then you go to check the video, and there's no sound. No audio whatsoever. Nothing. Yeah. You see me sitting there. You see me, you know, talking and gesticulating and all that great stuff, but no audio. And I'm really frustrated with the rumble studio, because I've been trying to familiarize myself with the rumble studio a little bit more, because I have scheduled some interviews that are going to be live video interviews.
And, and now I don't know if I'll be able to do those, because I can't seem to get Rumble Studio to work properly with my setup here. And to make it even worse, I sent an email out to the folks over at, support for Rumble, and, I still have not gotten any answer back on what I could possibly do to fix this problem, what the issue might be. Now I haven't had this problem before. This is something that that's just recently started and was progressive. It was, you know, first, it was the clips weren't playing properly, and then it was the audio completely going down.
Extremely frustrating. Extremely frustrating when you're trying to do your show and and it just doesn't work. When you're trying to build something on a platform, and it just doesn't work. So I'm hoping that I'll hear from Rumble, shortly. It doesn't change my my my love for the platform of Rumble. Rumble's a great platform. I think it's fantastic. I love the I love everything about it. I just don't understand what the problem is with the Rumble studio, and and I cannot get any support. So right now, we're streaming, we're using another system that I've used in the past, OBS, but I'm not really great with it. I I, you know, I know how to turn the camera on and off, turn the mic on and off, but to to to bring live video in, and do all the overlays, and all the stuff that we wanna do, that that rumble makes it a little bit easier to do.
I don't know how to do that. And I'm I'm doing the best that I can to try to learn how to do that, So that hopefully, we'll be able to do the videos, the interviews that I have scheduled, for us on, the twenty fourth, and then the twenty second of this month. So I have a week to get this whole thing straightened out and squared away, and I'm hoping that it comes that it comes around soon, because man it's frustrating. It is absolutely frustrating. Now I don't know if if you hear this. If you are listening or watching on Rumble right now, would you please do me a favor? Just drop a little note in the comments or in the chat.
Let me know if you're hearing this, if you're seeing this, if it's working. I'm going to, let me let me actually open up Rumble in a window over here. This way I could see. So if, somebody wouldn't mind please putting in a comment, got a couple of people listening. My single digit listeners, thank you so much for being here. And at least one of those is me, so so, you know, if you could just drop a note in the in the chat, let me know if you're hearing, the audio. That's that's the main thing. Alright? Because the audio here is deceiving, I hear it. I see it up on my board. I see the levels, you know, fluctuating. Everything seems to be working right, but I don't know. So drop a comment in the in the chat or, drop a comment right down there below, and let me know if you are hearing anything I'm saying.
Because if you're not hearing anything, I'm just gonna cut the feed altogether, and, we'll just keep recording the audio and get through the rest of the show. And, you know, we'll try to figure this out as we go down the line. Alright. Normally, we'd be going through a whole big lengthy thing of, you know, click here, click there, do this, do that. So I'm just gonna try to summarize it for you. Just, don't forget to head over to the website, joerociello.com. I I keep getting it confused with my old, show's, website.
But, head over to joerociello.com, open up the web form, send us over any questions, comments, cares, concerns that you might have, any ideas or suggestions. And listen, if you are somebody who is, really into tech and you can figure this crap out for us, let me know, please. Please let me know. We really could use your help. Also, don't forget to head over to our support page. If you, if if this is a value for value podcast, and all that really means is that if you get any value from what we're doing here, when you can hear it, at least on the video side of it, you know, the audio works fine. You can go to any podcast player and and the audio is right there, you'll hear it.
You know, I I can you tell I'm I'm bothered by this? This this is like, spending a little bit too much time on it, I think. But but, but this is a value for value podcast. And if and if you get any value from what we're doing, we're asking that you would just return that value in the form of a donation. Now, it could be your you could donate your time, your talent, or your treasure. Any one of those three things would be perfect. Your time, obviously, doing helping us do research, getting, getting pieces put together, getting show notes put together, your talent, and it could be anything other than that too. I'm just using it as an example. That's where I really need the help.
Or your talent. Maybe maybe you're good with this stuff. Maybe you're good with, with, OBS, and maybe you're good with, the rumble studio. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Maybe it's not rumble studio. Maybe it's me. But if you're good with this tech stuff, and if you're good with, you know, working sound and audio, video, and and and all that great stuff, and, you know, you can donate your talent and help us get this whole thing straightened out and squared away. That would be the ideal thing, because we really wanna do something positive with this with this show, and, we I I we really need some help with it. So, you can donate your time, your talent. You can also donate your treasure. Alright? When you donate your treasure, we're talking about your money. You could, you could do a one time donation in any amount, and we appreciate that immensely.
Or you can get on board with one of our monthly recurring donation clubs. Now, how that simply works is is you set up a monthly recurring donation, whether it's in the form of Satoshis, cryptocurrency, Satoshis or micro payments of Bitcoin. You could do it through Satoshis, you could do it through through actual money, cash, and, you the perks that you get for that, it depends on how much you're actually, donating monthly. So for $17.76, you get the associate producer credit for the show. And, with that, you get your name, printed in all of our documentation, as far as show notes, and and, we're we're working on getting a list together on the website.
If, and and you'll also get your shout out on every show. You could also donate $18.36, and for that, you get the producer's credit. Alright? So $17.76 is the associate producer, eighteen thirty six is the producer's credit, and it's the same deal. You get your name, printed, shouted out, and, you you get the credit as the associate producer. Now for for a monthly recurring donation of $25 or more, you get the coveted executive producer credit. Same perks, same conditions, however, that executive producer thing, and you know something, you could act you could actually, if you wanted to, take that and go use that some place that you are the executive producer, producer, associate producer of this podcast, and they could reach out to, and I will verify that for you, but it requires that monthly recurring donation.
Alright. So, if you haven't made a donation yet, please, I would I would encourage you to do that. Help us out. We really do need the, the funding to come in to help us, pay for everything that we're doing here, and, try to get things, to work better. Because if we have to hire people to actually do this stuff for us instead of taking it through donation, that's gonna cost us some money. So, we really really could use your help. Now also, you you might remember that, our podcast is a, an affiliate with the Alex Jones store. Alright? And all that is is that, you you, use our affiliate link, the alexjonesstore.com/joe, my name, and you can get over to that website and you can shop from from, a ton of really great vitamin supplements and patriotic apparel.

And and of course, you know, the capsules, they're concentrated. They're they're much, much stronger than than the gummies. So, you take two of those every day, and you talk about it helps thyroid, it helps, your skin, it helps your, nervous system, it helps your your digestive, system. I'm, you know, I've I've taken a beating over my life, you know, I I, you know, used to play, as a three sport guy, played baseball, football, and hockey. On top of that, you know, I used I would weight train regularly. I worked in law enforcement for, for for many many years. You know, I worked for the city of New York for twenty three years, and, you know, now I'm working in a labor job here in, in Eagle Pass, Texas on the day job. Rumble stood by him. Rumble gave him a platform. And Rumble did not cave. When rumble when, when, when, Europe wanted, specific hosts on Rumble, I think it was Steven Crowder removed, or they or Rumble would be banned in in those countries, Rumble said, fine, and Rumble removed themselves from the market. Rumble will stand by you, but they need the membership to do that. So head over to Rumble, get yourself a free account, that's fine, or get yourself a Rumble premium account. I mean, a lot of the stuff that you and I have talked about, over the last, few few weeks, probably would have gotten suspended from, from from YouTube already a long time ago. Especially when it comes to some of the politics that we talk about. But, that said, let's get into some of the headlines that I picked out for us here over the course of the day. Some really great things took place today, across the news. I'm not sure if you've been following along.
However, I wasn't sure which one to lead with today. This is good coffee. This is Lavazza, it's an Italian espresso coffee, fresh ground, and, my gosh. Really, really good. So there were a couple of great things that took place, early on today that, I wasn't sure which way to go. But, I think, I think we'll we'll do with the confirmation hearings first. And, today, we had a we had a a huge win, for the administration. RFK Junior was, confirmed as the, HHS, secretary, for Donald Trump's administration, is for his cabinet there. And, it was a it was a pretty much of a party line vote. It was fifty two forty eight. And, and of course, the, the, the swamp rat, former senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, broke with Republicans voting against RFK.
And, hey, you know what? That's fine. That's fine. You know, he I I don't mean it in a derogatory way, or maybe I guess I do. I mean, screw the PC sit. Right? Screw the PC stuff. He's on his way out, folks. I mean, I don't know if you've seen him. He he fell again recently. The man is over 80 years old. He's out here, you know, trying to do this, and and it's just not a good look for him. He needs to go. It's time to go. Kentucky, I don't know why you keep putting this this guy back in in into that seat in the senate. I mean, you need you need young, fresh, conservative blood. You need young, fresh, MAGA blood.
So, I'm hoping that in the in the next, election cycle, for his seat, that someone will step up, and someone will take that role and and run with it, and then, you know, we'll get another MAGA senator, in place. So let's let's hope for that. But, the, the the senate finance committee voted to advance the nomination Tuesday morning, fifty three forty seven, after, Bill Cassidy voted, in favor of Senator Kennedy. And, so that's great news. You know, it's it's it's great news, you know, make America great again, make America healthy again, what a complete turnaround from the previous administration, wouldn't you say? I mean, I I mean, we all remember, mister Levine, the, the man who, like to dress like a woman, and, and and, try to tell you, living at, you know, looking looking the most unhealthy person, like, you've you've seen in a long time.
Trying to tell us how to live our lives in a much more healthy way, or try to at least run the health services here in this country. So so that's great news, fantastic news. RFK Junior is now the HHS, the HHS, cabinet position. Secretary. There we go. Just had a brain freeze there. I think it's the coffee. I think the coffee got me already. Another piece of good news, I don't know if you if if I think this is great news actually, but, we remember the buyouts that, that that that, President Trump put into place. And I love how he did it. He did it by email, sent it out there, you know. If you wanna re if you wanna, resign and collect your collect your your severance package, just, click just just hit reply or or type reply in the reply and send it or type resign in the reply and send it back, and, you know, we'll take it from there. I thought that was great. I thought it was masterful. It was wonderful. And, as of this morning, 75,000, more or less, federal employees opted in for the buyout, which is huge because not only did we get that, not only did we get RFK as our HHS secretary, but, the court the federal court overturned the freeze out on the buyouts.
So, basically saying that the Prius, the president can do this, and, he he he stopped the, the freeze on that, and so we now have 75,000, federal employees that are no longer on the federal payroll, which will greatly help in the reduction. I mean, I'm I'm sure, you know, in in comparison to everything else, the $59,000,000 that, we recovered from from, the migrant housing in New York, and, the $2,700,000 they just found, just just earlier today. I I mean, I I'm I'm sure it doesn't quite equal up to that, but you know what? Every little bit helps when when the country is in a financial situation like we are, just teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, basically, I think anyway, and it's my opinion. And this is an opinion show, and if you don't like my opinion, don't watch. But, I think this is huge. This is great. This is downsizing the government. This is exactly what we hired Donald j Trump to do.
To be unburdened by what has been. Right? 47. To be unburdened by what has been. So this is fantastic news. I I am I'm really really happy about it. I wish I was in a better mood to really convey how excited I am about it, because I know it doesn't seem like that, but I am. This is this is really great stuff. And, you know, and and I just wanna go back on one thing though, I wanna say something on this. As as wonderful and as great as these developments are, okay, again, I am a member of the Texas Nationalist Movement. I am part of the district of of the county, leadership team here in Maverick County, all one of us. And it is, it it's it's no matter how good things may look right now, what happens after this?
So Texas is is still going to work towards independence, and, the Texas Nationalist Movement is still going to work towards Texas independence. And of course, we're talking legislatively, we're we're not talking about, you know, armed, conflict here. I mean, let's let's be let's be real, let's be honest about it. You know, it's gonna be through the legislative process process. We're looking for for a peaceful separation. Okay? So, so I know I know some people express concerns about that, and I was actually gonna address that as as as a text at fact today, but, we're not gonna we're not gonna get to that. But I I love what what Donald Trump is doing. I love the fact that he's, his his promises made, promises kept, as he's been going on here. I mean, even Democrats are acknowledging the fact that he's doing promises made, promises kept.
But still, Texas is leaving. We're still gonna leave, folks. I mean, it's gonna happen. It's inevitable. The separation is coming. And, yeah. So I I cheer Donald Trump, but I I support him. I I root for him. I am happy to see the things that he's doing, but I'm also being realistic about this. And I'm saying to my and I'm saying that no matter what happens today in Washington, Texas is still going to stand among the nations as a free and independent country, as a free and independent independent nation state. So I just I just don't wanna be misunderstood, you know, with my position on Texas independence, and the state of our union, our American union.
Alright. With that said, how about we get to the next piece here? So, let's see. So I'm sure you've been following, as you've been following along here, you've been you've been hearing a, a phrase that has has once again crept into the political vernacular, which only seems to come about when when Donald Trump is in office. It happened the first time. Didn't hear too much about it under, O'Biden. But now all of a sudden you're hearing it again, and that's the phrase constitutional crisis. President Trump and Elon Musk have created a constitutional crisis by cutting wasteful spending through Doge.
And, I think that that that is pathetic. And one of the things that I love about Caroline Levitt, aside from the fact that she's that she's a cutie. One of the things that I love about her is that, she just she just lays it into these guys, into the press. She doesn't play games with them. She keeps it straight. She keeps it direct. Doesn't mince words. And another thing that I love about her too, in compare especially in comparison to, the, the previous administration's train wreck, the, the, the toilet scrubber. That's because of the hair, you know.
She doesn't need notes. You know, she's not reading from a binder. She, you know, she's, she's actually, you know, doing this rote, and it it is absolutely refreshing to see and to hear. So this is Carolyn Levitt as she calls out media outlets at a briefing room in a briefing room for their constitutional crisis fear mongering.
[00:28:20] Unknown:
Before I take questions, I would like to address an extremely dishonest narrative that we've seen emerging over the past few days. Many outlets in this room have been fearmongering the American people into believing there is a constitutional crisis taking place here at the White House. I've been hearing those words a lot lately. But in fact, the real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges and liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block president Trump's basic executive authority.
We believe these judges are acting as judicial activists rather than honest arbiters of the law, and they have issued at least 12 injunctions against this administration in the past fourteen days, often without citing any evidence or grounds for their lawsuits. This is part of a larger concerted effort by Democrat activists and nothing more than the continuation of the weaponization of justice against president Trump. Quick news flash to these liberal judges who are supporting their obstructionist efforts, 77,000,000 Americans voted to elect this president.
And each injunction is an abuse of the rule of law and an attempt to thwart the will of the people. As the president clearly stated in the Oval Office yesterday, we will comply with the law in the courts, but we will also continue to seek every legal remedy to ultimately overturn these radical injunctions and ensure president Trump's policies can be enacted.
[00:29:52] Unknown:
Perfectly said. Perfectly said. And, if if, if if you can hear the clip, or if you can't hear the clip, to the, five or six people that are listening or watching, just drop a comment. Let me know. Alright? Because, I'm not gonna waste time with them if you're not getting them. Alright. And then, just a little bit later on in the day, Pam Bondi, went on to, Fox News and spoke in regards to these, these unelected judges that are, trying to, to, get in the way of president Trump, and his agenda here.
[00:30:38] Unknown:
Unelected judges who are trying to control government spending, and there is a clear separation of powers. You know, they're doing it to Elon Musk, who is a great man and a good friend at Doge. What they're doing to him is is to our country is outrageous. You know, people work their whole lives and pay taxes, yet they find out that they've been giving $2,000,000 to Guatemala for sex changes? It's outrageous. And it's going to stop. We're gonna fight back, not only with USAID and all these other agencies, but, you know, this is happening every day. But DOJ, we are prepared to defend all of these cases, and we will carry out President Trump's agenda.
[00:31:22] Unknown:
And that's exactly that's exactly the course of action that should be taken. Because don't think for a minute that if this was the other way around, that, that, you know, the the Democrats would be doing the same thing. They they would be fighting any opposition to their guys' agenda. And so so this is this is the the appropriate course of action to take. This is this is great stuff. And, you know, between, I'm telling you between Pam Bondi and Carolyn Levitt, you know, I think that the media is gonna have their hands full, when it comes to this. Both of these women are super intelligent. I mean, you could just see it, you could hear it in the way they express themselves, confident.
I think President Trump made the right call in these two in these two, appointees, and, I am really excited to see what's gonna be coming down over the next, two or three, two, three, four years. Alright. Something else that, that came up over this, over today that I saw was, and this is something else that I think is is great, and I think it should be. Donald Trump, called on, called the, Department of Education to be closed immediately. To be closed immediately. President Trump expressed that he wants the Department of Education to be closed immediately describing it as a big con job. Let's, let's check out the audio.
[00:32:52] Unknown:
How soon do you want the Department of Education to be closed?
[00:32:56] Unknown:
Oh, I'd like it to be closed immediately. Look, the Department of Education's a big con job. We're ranked so they ranked the top 40 countries in the world. We're ranked number fortieth, but we're ranked number one in one department cost per pupil. So we spend more per pupil than any other country in the world, but we're ranked number 40. We've been between thirty eight and forty. The last time I looked, it was 38, and then I looked two days ago, it came out the new list. It came out at number 40. So we're ranked 40. Norway, Denmark, Sweden, I hate to say it, China, as big as it is, it's ranked in the top five.
And, that's our that's our primary competitor. We're ranked number 40. So if we're ranked number 40, that means something's really wrong. Right? And I say send it back to Iowa, to Iraho, to, Colorado. Send it back to places that, and a lot of Indiana. You have a great new governor. You have a great senator that Jim Banks just got elected. You got great people. I I'll tell you what, Indiana is gonna be we probably have 35, maybe 37 states that will do as well as Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden. They'll be just as good. Then you have then you have the ones that we all know about. It'll be the same story. But you know what? Even they will be good.
[00:34:24] Unknown:
Now, prior to, Jimmy Carter, the, the education was with The States. Jimmy Carter created the Department of Education, and, at the time, that that that was created, The United States was was ranked number one in the world in education. Now we're ranked number 40, and this is after billions and billions of dollars have been spent, through a federal system, a federal education, department of education. You know, you can't you can't standardize education. I I I really believe that. You know, you can't have one standard cookie cutter method of teaching individual children. Every child is different, every child learns differently, and one of the faults of federalized education is that, of course, you know, they have the cookie cutter standard, education, format that they follow.
Everybody has to learn the same thing at the same pace, at the same time, in the same way, and it doesn't work that way. And that's and, you know, that's that's why you have so many difficulties with, with, remedial programs where where students are coming out of classes and coming out of schools, even high school going into college, unable to read, you know, unable to do basic math. Now I'm no genius when it comes to math or anything like that. I'm I'm far from it, but, you know, when I went through school, I had to go through some remedial math courses myself because I I didn't get, my early on in my education, my my teachers gave up because I wasn't getting it. I wasn't getting it fast enough to keep up with the rest of the class. So they just basically gave up on me, and, like, I could tell you one story. I'm not gonna mention any names of the, teachers, but, I had one teacher that they were teaching, I I I don't remember. It was, like, maybe I was in the sixth grade, I think.
And, I was having a really hard time with the math that they were that they that they were teaching and the way it was being taught. I needed the help, but the teacher refused to do it. Instead, allowed me to do other projects, other than the math work that needed to be done. And yet somehow, someway, I still was promoted. I still, when I took the citywide exams that that came about at that time, some even though I did not pass the, the math portion of the citywide exam, I was still promoted and still moving my way all the way through college and, you know, so, you know, it it federalized education doesn't work. It needs to go back to the states.
I fully support that. You know, I I believe in federalism. I believe that the federal government should have a very, limited impact in your everyday life, and that the states should be in control of pretty much everything. There's only very few things that the federal government needs to be involved with, and, you know, I I that's the way our founders envisioned it, and that's the way it should be, and that's in the reason why it's not. And the reason why we're in the trouble that we're all we are in, financially, education wise, foreign policy wise is because we went very very far from where our founding generation intended for us to be.
Alright. Let's see what else do we got here. Pam Bondi, this this was great. This this this, when I heard this, I I I kinda let out a whoop. I'll be honest with you. But, today, Pam Bondi announced that, they will be taking legal action against New York, specifically Kathy Hochul, the, the incompetent governor of New York. And hey, look, I can say it because I I am from New York. Granted, I wasn't there when when she was in office, and thank God I wasn't there when she was in office. But, you know, she she she was, you know, she she was appointed.
I I I don't know how New Yorkers voted for her, and and and gave her, you know, the elected position, but they did. And, you know, so this legal action is against, against, Kathy Hochul, Tish James, and the DMG the the DMV commissioner, Mark Schrader. And it's over New York said New York State issuing driver's licenses to illegal aliens. Bondi said during a press, briefing today that lawsuits target a green light law. And, so, what a green light law is, it's it's it permits illegal aliens to get driver's licenses in New York. She went on to say that New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens, and it stops today.
Let's, let's check out the the audio.
[00:39:34] Unknown:
We have filed charges against Leticia James and Mark Schroeder, who is with DMV. This is a new DOJ, and we are taking steps to protect Americans, American citizens, and angel moms, like the mom standing right behind me who you're gonna hear from in a moment. New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops it stops today.
[00:40:05] Unknown:
And that's that's that's great news. It should stop. It shouldn't it should never have been taking place in the first place. But, unfortunately, when you have a liberal lunatic like Kathy Hochul and and Tish James, who refused to enforce, immigration laws, these are things that happened. And, you know, this this is it's about time, and it and I'm I'm really I'm really excited about this. And, you know, and she referenced an angel mom, that was in in the, briefing with with her. And, that was Tammy Nichols, who, who said that, an illegal MS thirteen gang member murdered her daughter, 20 year old Kayla Marie Hamilton last year in Aberdeen, Maryland.
So, this is this is a long time coming, and I I am very, very thankful that it's coming about now. Needs to be done, doesn't matter what you feel about it, what your feelings are. This is logical. This is upholding the existing law. See, we don't need to go running off and write new laws. We have thousands of laws already in place. We don't need more. We need less. We need more specific laws. But this administration is going about enforcing the laws that are already in place, and I it's it's just amazing to watch the the left meltdown over the enforcement of law.
It it it's just it's it's amazing to me. And then, going back to, Caroline Levitt. I'm not sure if you if you heard about, this this situation here that that took place where, the AP was Two reporters from the AP were, were removed from, White House events, because their organization, the AP, continues to push a lie by not by by not referring to the body of water off the coast of Louisiana as the Gulf Of America, by con but by continuing to refer to it as the Gulf Of Mexico. If you remember, Donald Trump on his first day of office, he, he he officially renamed the Gulf Of Mexico to the Gulf Of America, and, he designated February 9 as Gulf of America Day.
Now, that said, okay, I don't even think it should be called the the Gulf Of America, and I am looking forward to the day when Texas, officially stands up as a nation of its own, that that body of water will be that name will change from the Gulf Of America to the Gulf Of Texas. Mark my words, it's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. But AP claims that it needed to make references easily recognizable for all the audiences, and said it would not change, although it would note, the president's announcement. So here's, here's Caitlin Collins, challenging Caroline Levitt in the, in in the, briefing room, just, this morning.
[00:43:34] Unknown:
Which White House official made the decision to bar the AP reporter from the Oval Office and the Diplomatic Reception Room last night? Well, first of all, let me just set the record straight.
[00:43:44] Unknown:
It is a privilege to cover this White House. It's a privilege to be the White House press secretary, and nobody has the right to go into the Oval Office and ask the president of The United States questions. That's an invitation that is given, and there are hundreds of outlets on this campus. Many of you in this room who don't have the privilege of being part of that pool every single day and getting to ask the president questions. We reserve the right, to decide who gets to go into the Oval Office, and you all have credentials to be here, including the Associated Press who is in this briefing room today. But isn't it retaliatory
[00:44:16] Unknown:
in nature is is the argument because the reason that the AP was barred, which they said was because they're not using the phrase Gulf Of America, they're using Gulf Of Mexico in line with their standards. So the question here is, is this setting a precedent that this White House will retaliate against reporters who don't use the language that you guys believe reporters should use? And how does that align with the first amendment commitment that you were just talking about? I was very upfront in my briefing on day one,
[00:44:41] Unknown:
that if we feel that there are lies being pushed by outlets in this room, we are going to hold those lies accountable. And it is a fact that the body of water off the coast of Louisiana is called the Gulf Of America. And I'm not sure why news outlets don't want to call it that, but that is what it is. The Secretary of Interior has made that the official designation in the, geographical identification name server, and Apple has recognized that. Google has recognized that, pretty much every other outlet in this room has recognized that body of water as the Gulf Of America, and it's very important to this administration that we get that right, not just for people here at home, but also for the rest of the world. Sure. Thank you, Carol.
[00:45:21] Unknown:
Now, of course, the reason why that is is because that goes in line with Donald Trump's agenda, make America great again. So the plan is to promote the presence of America and its influence everywhere. So the president, the interior secretary, the changes were made, it is widely recognized, and, you know, if and if you're not gonna if you're not going to the accountability factor of this whole thing is is what's real is what the is what's important. That should be the big takeaway from this. You know, spreading misinformation and disinformation, as the Democrats like to say. You know, you have these two you have these you have the AP, a major news outlet that is, you know, refusing to properly call an area of of what it's been designated as. Legally, designated as. So bravo, Carolyn Levitt, you know, the more I I watch her, the more I I I think she's amazing, and it just blows me away. She really does.
She really does. Now, this is something that's that's been a long time coming as well. This is taken right out of the, Democrats playbook. Because if if it was the other way around, you know for a fact that the Democrats would be out there doing exactly the same thing. Here we have, Eli Crane to introduce articles of impeachment against judge blocking Doge audit of treasury payments. He's, let's see. Representative Eli Crane, Arizona, will introduce articles of impeachment against a federal judge who is trying to prevent the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, from accessing Treasury Department payment systems to cut waste, fraud, and abuse.
Southern District New York Judge Paul Engelmyer, an Obama appointee, of course, temporary issued a temporary restraining order on Sunday against Doge accessing payment systems, claiming Doge had no authority to access it. His order was in response to a lawsuit filed by 19 left leaning state attorneys general. A really a really good, x account, amused, posted this, law fair, in an egregious and unconstitutional assault on executive authority, judge Paul Engelmyer has unilaterally forbidden all of Trump's political appointees, including treasury secretary Scott Bessent, from accessing Treasury Department data.
Now, just think of the logic of that. You have the confirmed the Senate confirmed appointed Treasury Secretary, and this rogue, liberal, communist, Marxist, whatever you wanna call him, judge tries to circumvent the president's will on this and issues a restraining order against the man appointed and confirmed and sworn to run the Department of Treasury, to keep him from doing his job, fraud, waste, and abuse. Elon Musk wrote, a corrupt judge protecting corruption. He needs to be impeached now. Only Congress can impeach a federal judge when it finds a judge committed wrongdoing. If a district court wants to control wants control over the entire executive branch, he should run for president, said Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy.
So, February 8, this is, this is from Reuters. February eighth, Paul Judge Paul Engelmeier in a court order agreed with the AGs of the states, will face irreparable harm in the absence of injunctive relief. And then he went ahead and he issued the, the order blocking the policy until February 14. Now, Crane will issue the articles of impeachment against Engelmayer because of what he deems to be judicial overreached. Donald Trump weighed in on this, on his truth account, and I'm telling you folks, you know, if you really wanna know what Donald Trump is gonna do next, he always posts it on truth first.
Before he goes anywhere else with it, before he goes to x or whatever other platform, he always he's always posting on truth first. So if you really wanna know, and and you wanna know what's accurate, you go to truth to get it. President wrote, Doge has found massive amounts of fraud, waste, and incompetence, and abuse, but even knowing this, a highly political activist judge wants us to immediately make payment anyway. In other words, pay even though you know the payment was fraudulently requested to be made. Doge caught them. The judge doesn't care. It doesn't make sense.
You know, it seems hard to believe that a judge that judges wanna try and stop us from looking for corruption, especially when we found hundreds of millions of dollars worth, much much more than that in just a short period of time, the president said. You wanna weed out the corruption, and it seems hard to believe that a judge could say, we don't want you to do that. So maybe we have to have a look at the judges, because that's very serious. I think it's a very, very serious violation. This is what you gotta do. You gotta fight back.
You gotta fight back the same way the Democrats will be doing it to you. Same exact way. And when you do that, as you they don't know what to do. They don't know how to handle it. So, this is great. This is a great development. Pete Hegseth says, excuse me. Pete Hegseth lays out the Trump administration's plan to end the war in Ukraine. SEC defense Pete Hegseth outlined president Donald Trump's plans to bring an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Hegseth addressed the Ukrainian defense contract group at a meeting in Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday. The group is an alliance of 57 nations in the European Union, which is created to support the defense of Ukraine after Russia invaded the country in 02/2022. Let's see. Heksef began his remarks by affirming that as the war approaches its third anniversary, our message is clear, the bloodshed must stop, and this war must end.
[00:52:01] Unknown:
Friends, thank you, secretary Healy, for your leadership both in hosting and now leading, the UDCG. This is my first Ukraine defense contact group, and I'm honored to join all of you today. And I appreciate the opportunity to share president Trump's approach to the war in Ukraine. We are at, as you said, mister secretary, a critical moment. As the war approaches its third anniversary, our message is clear. The bloodshed must stop and this war must end. President Trump has been clear with the American people and with many of your leaders that stopping the fighting and reaching an enduring peace is a top priority.
He intends to end this war by diplomacy and bringing both Russia and Ukraine to the table. And the US Department of Defense will help achieve this goal. We will only end this devastating war and establish a durable peace by coupling allied strength with a realistic assessment of the battlefield. We want, like you, a sovereign and prosperous Ukraine. But we must start by recognizing that returning to Ukraine's pre twenty fourteen borders is an unrealistic objective. Chasing this illusionary goal will only prolong the war and cause more suffering. A durable peace for Ukraine must include robust security guarantees to ensure that the war will not begin again.
This must not be Minsk Three Point o. That said, The United States does not believe that NATO membership for Ukraine is a realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement. Instead, any security guarantee must be backed by capable European and non European troops. If these troops are deployed as peacekeepers to Ukraine at any point, they should be deployed as part of a non NATO mission and they should not be covered under article five. Yes. There also must be robust international oversight of the line of contact. To be clear, as part of any security guarantee, there will not be US troops deployed to Ukraine.
Yes. I agree. To further enable effective diplomacy and drive down energy prices that fund the Russian war machine. President Trump is unleashing American energy production and encouraging other nations to do the same. Lower energy prices coupled with more effective enforcement of energy sanctions will help bring Russia to the table. Safeguarding European security must be an imperative for European members of NATO. As part of this, Europe must provide the overwhelming share of future lethal and non lethal aid to Ukraine. Members of this contact group must meet the moment.
This means donating more ammunition and equipment, leveraging comparative advantages, expanding your defense industrial base, and importantly, leveling with your citizens about the threat facing Europe. Part of this is speaking frankly with your people about how this threat can only be met by spending more on defense. 2% is not enough. President Trump has called for five percent, and I agree. Increasing your commitment to your own security is a down payment for the future. A down payment, as you said, mister secretary, of peace through strength.
We're also here today to directly and unambiguously express that stark strategic realities prevent The United States Of America from being primarily focused on the security of Europe. The United States faces consequential threats to our homeland. We must and we are focusing on security of our own borders. America First. We also face a peer competitor in the communist Chinese with the capability and intent to threaten our homeland and core national interests in the Indo Pacific. The US is prioritizing deterring war with China in the Pacific, recognizing the reality of scarcity and making the resourcing trade offs to ensure deterrence
[00:56:54] Unknown:
See, that's important. Not fail. That's very important.
[00:56:57] Unknown:
Cannot fail for all of our sakes.
[00:57:01] Unknown:
You're talking in a business sense. See, you need business people to run the government, and this is what you're getting. This is this is clear, this is thoughtful, this is direct, this is just laying it out. We don't have the money to do it. You need to step up your game. We cannot continue to protect you and take care of our own issues, our own security needs at the same time. It is fiscally impossible. That's the message there, and that is fantastic.
[00:57:32] Unknown:
As The United States prioritizes its attention to these threats, European allies must lead from the front. Together, we can establish a division of labor that maximizes our comparative advantages in Europe and Pacific respectively. In my first weeks as secretary of defense, under president Trump's leadership, we've seen promising signs that Europe sees this threat, understands what needs to be done, and is stepping up to the task. For example, Sweden recently announced its largest ever assistance package. We applaud them for committing 1,200,000,000.0 in ammunition and other needed material.
[00:58:13] Unknown:
Alright. We're gonna we're gonna stop it right there. There's there's there's more to it. There's another two and a half minutes or so, to the clip. But, looking at the clock here, and it's already almost 09:00, and we wanna we wanna try to keep this to an hour. So I I do have one more story that I wanna get to, before we wrap it up for tonight. And, this is this is something very interesting that I that I came across, as as part of the Texas Nationalist Movement, as a member of the Texas Nationalist Movement. This is on our Texas news from the, the the TNM's website.
And, I I didn't see this earlier today. I saw it just a little bit before I started the show, but, this is a poll that took place at the, university of Houston's Hobby School of Public Affairs. And basically, what it does is it just it just confirms what the Texas Nationalist Movement, has has been saying for for quite some time. Texans have lost faith in the federal government. And not only have Texans lost faith in the federal government, but Texans are ready for self governance. And the, these these numbers paint a stark picture of a state population that sees itself thriving despite Washington's failures.
The article says, these poll numbers should be taken as clear as a clear mandate for change, says T and M president Daniel Miller. When four out of five Texans don't trust the federal government, it's beyond time to give Texans a vote on independence. Now, the numbers are this, 6161% of Texans believe The United States is on the wrong track, while a majority, 54%, see Texas headed in the right direction. Alright? So, I know I put the emphasis on the wrong part there, but 61% of Texas believe that United States is on the wrong track. But, even though that's the majority, 54% see Texas headed in the right direction.
The polls finding on institutional trust are particularly damning for defenders of the status quo, while state and local governments in Texas hover around 31 to 32% trust levels still higher than Washington. These numbers demonstrate a broader crisis of confidence in government institutions. However, the significant gap between federal and state trust level suggests Texans maintain more faith in local control than distant federal bureaucracy. Among Republicans who represent the dominant political force in Texas, the contrast between state and federal outlook is even more pronounced.
An overwhelming 76% of Republicans believe Texas is headed in the right direction. 76, while significantly fewer feel positively about The US trajectory. The 26 gap represents a crucial opening in the Texas movement for the Texas movement, particularly among the state's most active voters. Perhaps the most significantly perhaps most significantly, Texas show overwhelming support for measures that would strengthen state sovereignty and reduce federal influence. Alright. Just check these out. 86% support requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration. 86% of the population. 83% back banning taxpayer taxpayer funded lobbying.
77% favor independent re redistricting. 77 support nonpartisan judicial selection. So what this tells me is that Texans want control of their own systems, free from any federal interference or control. And of course, you know, the push for, election integrity really does go against what, what what the liberal democratic vision for, federalizing election processes would be. So this poll arrives at a crucial time moment a crucial moment for the Texas independence movement with trust in federal institutions at historic lows and Texans clearly signaling their preference for state level solutions, the case for Texan has never been stronger.
What we're seeing isn't just dissatisfaction with particular federal policies, Miller explains. It's a fundamental breakdown in Texans' belief that Washington can or should govern Texans. When you combine rock bottom federal trust with strong support for Texas sovereignty, the logical conclusion is independence. Data also suggests a clear strategy to forward for the TNM, with Republicans showing the strong support for Texas autonomy focusing on this base while emphasizing practical governance issues like election integrity and local control, could help build broader support for independence.
So basically, the long and short of the whole thing is is that the poll is really clear, very clear. Texans trust Texas more than Washington. Texans believe that Texas is on a better path than the than the country as a whole, and overwhelmingly, I I read you the numbers, overwhelmingly support measures that would increase state sovereignty. Folks, these aren't just data points. These are this this is support for Texas independence.
