Well, you know, we had a little bit of a spike up in the market recently. I mean, we we got through crypto week, and the market went up a little bit, and that was great. And, you know, I had hopes that that was gonna be the bull run. But the good news is is that was not the bull run. There's a lot more coming, and it's coming soon. So the market went up quite a bit. It dipped a little bit. And so now we're in this, like, limbo stage right now. The president announced that there was gonna be some crypto report coming at the end of the month, so that'll be good. I don't think it's gonna be as interesting as my crypto report on Patreon, but, that's okay.

August, we're gonna have a big spike up in the market. It's gonna be give me the link to your, your Patreon at some point so I can do a little banner graphic for you so we can put it up there when you mention it.

So, that's basically when all the other coins other than Bitcoin run. I mean, Bitcoin will run a little bit, but, you know, Bitcoin's a little bit boring. You know, where we really start to make money is when some of the other cryptos start to, you know, double, triple, quadruple. I mean, when trillion let's say a trillion dollars goes into altcoins, and it's just in altcoins. That's gonna make a lot of people maybe wealthy depending on how much money you have in the market.
The thing is is it's not gonna last long. I I feel like it's gonna be a huge, huge, huge spike up, and then it is going to dip pretty quickly. So, it's gonna be fun for a short period of time. You can make some moves, though. You got an opportunity to make a lot of money in a short period of time. And, you know, everyone asks me when, when, when, when, when, when, when. And I I feel like with Taro, it's a little bit difficult to determine when. Originally, I thought the bull run was gonna come in the May, June time. And it happens a little bit in May, but it that wasn't the bull run that I was feeling.
July went a lot more than it did in May, but that wasn't the bull run that I was feeling. So we're seeing some positivity in the crypto market, but there is a lot more to come. And August is going to be the month.

So it's gonna get really, really, really fun soon. So we better get ready. Yes. Because August is right around the corner. Yep. What do we got? Like, two weeks? Not even two weeks away? It's a week away. So, what do you what do you think about Algorand? Any updates on that? Anything going on with Algorand? Because I remember last time we talked about it, you were really high on Algorand. And, you know, I in full disclosure, I went out and I bought some. So Good. I'd like to know where where where do you think we're going with Algorand?

There's actually a lot of exciting things happening in Algorand. So, their road map is being released on July 31. That is basically gonna entail, like, everything that they've been working on, what's gonna happen in the future. I think there's gonna be a lot of things, just kind of released that are is going to drive the price of of Algorand. They're working on so many different projects all at once, and just it's gonna be this big explosion for Algorand. And I mean that in a good way. Like, meaning, like, the price is going to go up. So I am still buying Algorand. Now I think when we did our first podcast, Algorand was, like, in the 20¢ range, maybe 18¢, something like that. Now it's like I think it's sitting at, like, 27¢ today, something like that, maybe 26¢.
So it's gone up a little bit, and I think there's a lot more to come with Algorand. I think it's actually possible in the month of August for Algorand to hit a dollar.

So in addition to that road map being released, they just came up with this new program. It's called agent Nyla. I just saw this on on, x the other night because, I'm actively on x a lot. Maybe a little bit more so than I am TikTok these days just because there's so much crypto news on x. And so, basically, what you can do is you can put a tweet out to send Algorand to anybody, on the platform of x. Yes. It's so simple. So they're they just implemented that. That's fun.

Right now, Algo's at, 27¢.

Okay. Perfect. Perfect. And then I also saw a tweet too because I follow a lot of the Algorand people just to kinda see what they're working on and stuff like that. They went out to dinner, a whole group of them, with a bunch of investors recently, so that made me happy too. So I'm telling you, a lot of money is gonna be poured in Algorand soon. So I I I have high hopes for Algorand. I I think that they're gonna do well. Listen. It's not a straight shot up. It's gonna go up. It's gonna go down. You know? It's like one of those things where I recommend putting some money it and then holding it for about a year.

And I think that we're gonna be in the $5 range within that year. So it's a it's those are some really good profits. It's kinda like one of those, those old Ronco commercials, you know, you set it and forget it. Just put it in there, let it sit there. I mean, it's it's it's 27¢ a, a coin right now. So even if you invest a couple of $100 in it, you know, if you lose, you're not gonna lose a fortune. You're not gonna be bankrupting yourself Right. On it. So, you know, it's it's worth it to look at. Oh, for sure. Now I know I know that you look at the CEOs and, and you were very high on on Stacy Wharton. You have you have some some good things to say about her. She was your favorite.
Who's your second favorite?

It's interesting that you asked this because I just came across my second favorite recently. So, one of the things that I do on my Patreon is I let, all the members ask questions. So I had, like, a million things, a million questions to answer. And somebody asked me about Render. Render is one of the cryptos that I've been pushing on my TikTok for a while. So I was looking at the founder of Render, Jules Urbak. He's got that Stacy Warden energy in terms of the karma, the intelligence, the drive. Now he's not CEO of Render, but he is the founder. He's the CEO of a company called OTOY.
I don't know if that's publicly traded. I don't think it's a crypto. I think it's just a private company, or maybe it's not because Eric Schmidt, the former Google CEO, is on his advisory board. Anyways, this Jules Urbach, the founder of Render, I love him. He is amazing. He is going to be extremely successful. Render is one of my top picks. It's going to be very well utilized in the blockchain. And right now, it's in the $5 range. So, I'm scooping up as much render as I possibly can right now. I think it's gonna I think it's gonna be in the $100 range within the next year or so, and maybe even before the next the year is over. So,

yeah, I I have high hopes for render. It's it's a solid investment, in my opinion, not financial advice. Yeah. I can It's a psychic prediction. I was just gonna say that too. Yeah. Okay. I do have a few, avoids here. I'm not really big on meme coins. You know? That's something that I always kinda stress to people. You can make a lot of money in meme coins in in a short period of time, but they're not good long term investments. And the way that I personally invest and the way that I recommend people invest is more long term projects instead of meme coins. So I try to avoid meme coins. ApeCoin, that's that has to do with the meme category. I don't like White Rock. I don't like that energy. I'm not big on Oasis Rose.
Yeah. You know, a lot of people have asked me about that. And I I feel like it's got potential. I really do, but I also feel like there's something going on internally. There's a lot of competition in the market, and, there might be some internal competition too. Something's going on there that they really need to straighten out. Right now, for me, it's a pass. I would stay away from Oasis, unfortunately, even though I really do like the founder. Terra Luna, I would stay away from that. They had a big issue years ago where they were depegged, and, you know, it went from, like, I don't remember how much it was, maybe a $100 to, like, under a penny. I mean, it was it was tragic. I that's the one that I would definitely stay away from just entirely. Just move your money somewhere else Yeah. Where where it's a little bit more stable. You know? XRP is good. Algorand's good. Get the ISO twenty o twenty two coins. XLM is good. HBAR is good.
You know, get get better projects is is my recommendation.

So the avoids are, Terra Luna, Oasis, and what else was it? White Rock. White Rock. Alright. And ApeCoin.

Now here here's the thing that's a little bit tricky. I gotta be careful with what I say in terms of, like, telling people to avoid stuff because we're coming into altcoin season soon, and pretty much everything is gonna go up in value. So when I say avoid ApeCoin, let's say it does, you know, let's say I think it's in, like, the 50¢ range right now. Let's say it goes up to $5. Right? And then it tanks. Right? Like, people are gonna be like, you were a rogue. I even though, like, these coins will run at different points, I don't feel they're good long term investments. So that's what I mean when I say avoid them. Not that they won't make you money in the short term because that is absolutely possible. But for me, I look at more long term

investments rather than just, like, short term investments. But if you had to buy a meme coin right now, which one would you buy?

Dog with hat. Dog with hat. Dog with hat. Every day, dog with hat. I actually have a little bit of it in my portfolio. Not a lot. But I do feel, like, in terms of the energy, like, that's gonna be one of the better ones to invest in. I also like pudgy penguins. You know? On my TikTok, a bunch of people were asking me about it for weeks on end. Every video I made, can you do pudgy penguins? Do pudgy penguins. And I'm just kinda like, man, it's, like, the stupidest name I've ever heard. I was gonna say, I don't think I could buy something called pudgy penguins or anything.

Right. Something innately dirty about that. I don't know.

After I looked at it, I do like that meme coin. That that is what I actually did buy a little bit of it after I did that review. Because I'm like, okay. You guys are pulling my pulling my strings here. I might as well, you know, buy a little bit of it because I do have a good feeling about that one too. So, So, it it's got a little bit more substance to it. They do more advertising. They have, like, a whole NFT thing that they do with that NFT drops. It's a little bit more commercialized, so it's worked on more. More energy is put into it. So I like Pudgy Penguins, but I I like dog lift hat way better. So Okay. So I'm gonna check I'm gonna take a look at some of these too because,

I am expanding my portfolio. So I have some Algo. I have some XRP. I have some Solana. I have some I'm I'm all over the place with it. But, now you mentioned August is coming you know, big things are coming in August. Where do you see, XRP in August? What do you think is gonna happen there?

I think we're gonna hit $5 a coin. I really, really do. So back in April, I put out this prediction on TikTok, and I said that I I ran a whole taro spread on it. I did meditation prior, and I felt really good about putting this prediction out. And it was a little bit bold at the time. I felt that during the bull run, XRP was gonna hit $5 a coin. Mhmm. Where I went wrong on this is the timing. Again, timing is a little bit difficult with taro. I thought that the bull run was gonna come in the May, June time frame, and that didn't happen.
So I'm I'm revising that, and I feel like the bull run is August. And that is when XRP is gonna hit that $5 a coin. So, I

that prediction, but I I just feel that the timing was a little bit off with that. So It happens. They have us to the best of us. We all make some kind of a miscalculation somewhere along the way.

Yeah. Oh, boy. Here's here's something else, Joe. I get messages in my dreams. That's one of the things that I've been really, like, focusing on. So when I go to bed at night, like, I say prayers and, I I show gratitude for everything that I have in my life, even, like, the little things, and, have asked to get some messages in my dreams about crypto, like, what is going to happen. And nothing came to me for a while, and I was like, man, that you know? So I'm like, I'm gonna focus on this. Last night, I did this because I knew I was coming on your show, and I wanted to put something good out there. And I wanted to say it with confidence as well. And the message that I got was August is going to be good. Alright.
We're gonna hold on to that. Yeah. And and so for me, I'm kinda like, well, that's it. August is gonna be good. I mean, I kinda wanted to hear August is gonna be the best ever. It's gonna be great. And I just got August is going to be good. But the way that I got it, it was that confidence, that calm confidence. And sometimes that can be more powerful than getting really excited. You're like, it's gonna be the best ever. Right? Like, you know, so I am very excited about August.

Well, I I know what you're saying too because it's like, I I the way you said it and the way you interpreted it from your dream, I got the same thing just by hearing you say it. Like, August is gonna be good. You know, there's gonna be some good stuff coming in August. So I'm hoping there is because, like I said, I would love to see this portfolio is kind of, blossom, you know, more than they already have, over the last week. Over crypto week, I made it pretty good, you know. Made a little bit here or there. So I'm not I can't complain about that. So I would love to see it increase even more come August. So let's let's let's, send the vibes that way. Let's make sure that, that August is good. So how do you feel about Stellar XLM?

I love it. I feel like I underrated it, honestly. You know, I've had it in my portfolio for years, and it just did nothing. And it did nothing. And it did nothing. And I'm like, oh my god. This is, like, the most boring crypto ever. So and I didn't really buy a lot of it, but, I have a little bit of it in my portfolio. Nothing crazy. I got in it, like, 9¢ a coin years ago, and I just let it sit there and, you know, do nothing for a long time. And now it's starting to move a little bit because it's an ISO 20 o 22 crypto. And it's moving faster than I expected, and that is always a pleasant surprise, Joe. Mhmm. I have high hopes for Stellar.
I really do. I think that it's gonna be in maybe, like, 50 range, by the end of the year. I think that's absolutely doable.

So the ISO 20 o 22 coins, I believe, are just gonna run a little bit more stable than, some of the others, and they're gonna have different points where they're gonna be the ones that shoot up and everything else just kinda stays where it's at. And I feel like I I'm I'm really liking the the feeling that I get with XLM. Yeah. Okay. We're at $40.43

Holy cow. Yeah. I know. The thing with Stellar is it has such a large supply. I wanna say I and what it is. I I wanna say it's, like, 35,000,000,000 coins. So a lot of money needs to be poured into Stellar in order for it to move up in price, and that's, like, a little bit of the challenge that we have with that specific coin. Like, for example, Algorand, I think they have, like, 9,000,000,000 in circulation. So, or something along. So, a lot like, money goes a little bit farther with Algorand versus Stellar. So but Stellar, I think, is gonna have, you know, some good function coming coming to it. So,

it's gonna do well. Now you you saw that, you know, because I did the screen share. So you saw that I use the Brave browser, and I and I know you do too. What do you think about Brave's, little, crypto thing they have going on the Basic Attention Token or BAT? What do you think about that?

That's a great question. I love Basic Attention Token. Here's the thing. So, god, back in, like, 2020 or 2021 or something like that, it hit, like, I wanna say the $2 range somewhere around there. And I had a lot of basic attention token. And I actually, like, converted some of it into other cryptos because I felt like that was kind of a high at the time, and I'm so grateful that I did that because it's 15¢ a coin right now. You know, it it kinda goes to show you that sometimes, you know, things can go really high up, and then they can tinker over time. They've had some issues. They really need to work on marketing.
I think the functionality of the Brave browser is great. I think a lot of people have adapted to it. I think the security on it is great. I love that you can click on ads and get some free crypto. I do that every month, and I get a little bit of, you know, basic attention token. I think by the end of the year, we're gonna be in the potentially, this is a this is potentially this is a prediction I'm just a little bit I'm, like, 75% sure on this one. Okay? And I wanna put that out there because I'm not a 100% sure. I would say it's gonna be about a dollar by the end of, 2025.

So bat. So something to look into. You know, I didn't I didn't know. I never because I I I've been using Brave for a while, and, I always I've always seen their their little advertisements for for bat. I never really looked into it that much. I didn't realize that when you click on certain ads, you do earn those the some some percentage of bat. And, I think that that's not a bad deal when you think about it, but, where does that but do you have to have a wallet set up with Yes. Brave or you could use an existing wallet you already have? The last time I checked, you have to have either a Gemini account or an Uphold account. And then you connect it to your browser, and then every month, they just deposit them. Nice. Yeah. I have to take a look at that. The the problem the the the problem that I have with a lot of this stuff, and we were kinda talking about it earlier. We were we were talking about something we're gonna gonna ask about at the end of this, particular crypto.
Not all cryptos are traded on the same exchanges. So sometimes you have to have different accounts in here and there, and it gets really really confusing. I mean, isn't there any option that you could put all of it into one place and just, you know, monitor everything in one place?

I mean, you can move it to cold wallet, like a cold wild storage, like a Ledger, an Arculus. But then some of the cold wallet storages, they don't they're not, like, compatible with every single crypto. I like Ledger. Ledger seems to be the best one that I personally found, but, it's difficult. You know? I'll say this. Like, over the course of, you know, the last five years, I have had to open up many different trading accounts and on all different platforms to be able to access certain cryptos. And it's worth it to open an account. It's a pain. You know, you have to go through the ID process. You know, you gotta take a picture of yourself. Yeah. You gotta link your bank account. It really doesn't take that long to do these days, though. I mean, it takes maybe fifteen minutes. So taking that time and setting up the account in that fifteen minutes is definitely worth it if it gives you early access to cryptos that you don't have access to on every single platform.
Like, for example, XDC. I wanna say that's on Uphold. I do like Uphold. Uphold, for whatever reason, seems to give me access to, like, stuff that I don't have access to on other exchanges. Like, when XRP was not allowed to be bought in The United States, I could go on uphold, and I could buy it on uphold. Oh, wow. So, yeah, so I was able to, like, accumulate and accumulate and accumulate when other people maybe couldn't. Like, XDC, that's a ISO 20 o 22 crypto. And for whatever reason, I can't find it on any other platform other than uphold. Now I haven't really looked into it recently, so that could have possibly changed because every month, the the platform seemed to add more crypto. You're like, oh, here's a new one you can do on Coinbase, and Mhmm. Crypto.com has them. And because they all have different, standards that these crypto companies need to meet, the last thing they want is to have these, like, people that make up stupid meme coins get listed on their platforms.
And then there's a rug pull and, you know, people buy into it, and then they sell everything, and voila, poof, it's gone. Right? Because they don't they don't they wanna avoid that. So there's definitely different standards. I would say Coinbase is probably the hardest one to get on. And I've I've spoken with some people that have created different projects on the blockchain, and and they tell me how hard it is to get on Coinbase. You need to have some significant funding and function behind your crypto. So they don't just let anybody on there. Well, I guess that's a good thing too. It is. It really is. That's why I have a tendency to trust Coinbase just a little bit more Mhmm. Than some of the other exchanges.
I've I mean, obviously, they're a publicly traded company, and they have, like, a little bit higher standards. You know? They're they're not gonna just

do the rug pull cryptos. Right? Sure. I mean, they they have investors they have to they have to think about too. So Correct. So, I know what you mentioned, I saw one of your TikToks. You were talking about staking. And, so there there are some people who may not know what staking is. I I've I've become familiar with it. I do have some some of my my crypto and and staked in, on Coinbase. So can you explain what what staking is, and do you think that's a good thing to, get yourself involved with?

Absolutely. Especially if you're a long term holder. So, basically, what staking is is you lock up your crypto under whatever terms the platform has for that staking option. So, like, for example, you know, on on Coinbase, you can stake your Ethereum. And you earn I don't I don't remember what the exact earn rate is. And I wanna It's with if you're not a Coinbase ONE member, it's, like, one point something percent.

And then if you are a Coinbase ONE member, you are at, almost 3%.

Okay. Yeah. So what you do is you you hit the staking option. You lock it up. And so what you can do then is Coinbase will say, okay. Well, we're gonna you're gonna earn a certain percentage every week on this. And we're gonna we're gonna just put it give you, like, a certain amount of Ethereum for locking up for staking your Ethereum. And then, if you wanna unstake it, there's an unstaking waiting period, and it's different for every crypto. You know, it could be a couple days. You wanna know what that unstaking time frame is just for your own, you know, peace of mind. Yeah. With Coinbase, it's twenty two days.

Okay. Yeah. That's a long time. Yeah. It's almost a month. Yeah.

Right. And then crypto.com is a little bit different. They offer a little bit higher staking rates, and there's a lot more options on crypto.com. And you have the choice to lock it up for a month, three months, or, like, have the option to have a lower rate, and you can unstake it at any time. And and, basically, they just deposit, you know, extra crypto into your account. I like doing the three month options because I know that I'm not going to sell mine, and I just wanna earn as much interest as I can because I'm just gonna, you know, hold it for a certain period of time. It also locks it in at the price that you that you staked it at. Correct? And and I I noticed that the that even though,

with Ethereum, which I have on on Coinbase, I noticed, you know, Ethereum, you know, rises and falls and what but it doesn't seem to affect what I have invested in the staking.

So it doesn't affect the price at all. So, like, if Ethereum goes up to $4,000 a coin, you're that's what that's what you're that's what it's gonna be worth. Right? And if it drops down, that's what it's gonna be worth. So it's it the percentage that it pays out is based on, like, the amount of coins, like, the percent. So whatever that is, you're gonna get, like, you know, 1% on. I see. Right? Okay. So yeah. It it doesn't change the price. The price goes with the market. Okay. Now I just recently opened up

a a a crypto account, crypto.com account. So I'm I'm gonna be playing around with that thing. What I like about it, though, to be honest with you, and this isn't a plug for any one of these platforms because, you know, I'm not gonna be paid to do that. But, I find that that, when I set up the account on crypto..com, it was really simple. Like, it didn't take a lot of work to do. Like, I have an account with, with a platform called, Dex. What a pain in the ass. It was setting up an account on Dex. And it and then to and then to navigate your way through it to actually purchase coins or sell coins or transfer or convert, What a hassle. I mean, it is just way too many clicks, way too many steps to go through converting this, changing that. It it's just I don't know if they do that on purpose, you know, for the serious investor or or if it's just or or what? I I don't know. But but I I think that a lot of people get turned off from cryptos because of the complexity of trying to set these accounts up. And again, I can see the positives and negatives with that. You know, you want you want people who are serious in this. You don't wanna, you know, you don't you don't wanna have a bunch of people that they're just, I'm in and out, in and out, in and out.
I don't know. Just whatever you do though, just, like, I I would recommend Coinbase. I recommend crypto.com. I think they're the easiest ones to set up accounts with, and, and their wallets now. Now, there's a now there's a difference between keeping your your, your crypto in an on the exchange or or on the platform itself, the trading platform and a wallet. Right? So what's the difference between the two? Because this is something that we should have probably asked them when we first started talking about it, you know, just to introduce people to the ideas of these things. But I didn't think of it until just now. So, what is the difference between leaving it on an on the trading platform or keeping it in the wallet?

So when it's on the trading platform, it's in your account that you can log into, but, you know, not your keys, not your crypto. Some I've heard of people, like, have theirs just randomly disappear if they haven't logged in their into their account in a while. It's always better to, like, have it in cold wallet storage, which is like a USB, a ledger, an Oculus. Then that way, it's stored at a USB. You can hide it in your house

or somewhere else. Yeah. But how do you do that, though? How do you how do you move it from from the interweb onto onto a USB and have it have any value?

So what you do is you when you you set up, like, let's say, your ledger, you know, you can plug in computer or whatnot. You get the receive address on there, and then, like, let's say you go into your Coinbase account, and you hit let's say you wanna send your XRP to your ledger. You hit the you open up your XRP wallet. You hit the send button Mhmm. And you put in your ledger receive address. Okay? And then you just hit send. But when you do that, though, you wanna make sure that you do a test run first, like, where you send a small amount, like, before you send any kind of large amount just to make sure it shows up and everything goes good because I've personally lost crypto.
That way, that kinda sucks. You know? I mean, granted, that was a long, long, long time ago, but, still it's you wanna make sure that you're doing it correctly. Pay the stupid tax is what I call it. Mhmm. Yeah. Basically.

So, what do you, what do you think about NFTs? I know you mentioned them, earlier, but, are there any NFTs that you like? Because I may I may have missed

it. No. Not at all. There isn't one that I like. Absolutely not. You're never gonna see me push NFTs. And if you do, it's probably gonna be something that's gonna blow up, and I mean that in a good way. Yeah. There isn't one that I like. I feel like they're similar to meme coins in my opinion. I know a lot of people like you know, they like to do collections and stuff like that. You know, if it's something that's cheap, you know, I and it's something you like to do, I mean, find whatever. I would not put any kind of significant money into it. You know, I've heard of different celebrities that, there was a there was a collection. I wanna say it was, like, an ape collection or something like that years ago that came out and and, celebrities were paying, like, a million dollars for an NFT, and then, like, it tanks. And I'm like, that is why you don't buy NFTs. Now for for those of us that are uninitiated,

And, like, I put it out on the market. Like, I I there's, like, a bunch of different websites that you can sell them on. Right? And then somebody's like, oh my gosh. He's so good looking. I have to have that NFT. And let's say they pay a thousand dollars for it or something crazy. Like, And so now it goes in their wallet, and they have a Joe Russo NFT. And, you know, hey. It looks good, but, you know What is it? Going is it gonna increase in value? Or, you know, maybe, hey. Listen. I hope so. I hope so. I you you know, if it's got your name on it, Joe, it probably will. But, you know what I mean? It's just it's just graphics that they're making, and then you mint it into, like, something that only you can have in your wallet, and it's copyrighted and stuff. And, like, I don't know. To me, it's just I I'd rather invest in a layer one blockchain.
Right? If you're gonna invest your money, invest in something that has substance behind it, that has Right. IT functions behind it, you know, that is going to be useful in the world, instead of just, hey. Here's a picture. Let's pay a thousand dollars for it. I'm like I gotcha. I know. Crazy.

And, coincidentally, I wanted to ask you about the the the Joe crypto. It's nothing to do with me. It has nothing to do with me whatsoever, but but, I was I was looking at this and I saw I saw it pop up, I think you mentioned it on one of your TikToks and I saw it someplace else. I was reading something on, I think Motley Fool or something like that. And, they mentioned the Joe crypto. And I was like, oh, wow. How cool is that? If, you know, just just just for kicks and giggles, I should buy some of that. Well, I had a hard time finding it, first of all, because nobody no. It's it's only being offered on one place that I found so far, and that's, that's that platform Dex that I saw that I looked at. It was just ridiculously complicated to sign up for. I'm not gonna bother. But, but what do you think about that? The and it's it's the Trader Joe, crypto. Right? Is isn't that what it is? Trader Joe's?

Is it? I I don't know. I do know the crypto that you're talking about. I would say, unfortunately, for me, that's a pass. Even though hey. Listen. It's got a great name. Yeah. You know, it's not listed on a lot of major exchanges, and that's always something that's a little bit of a red flag for me. You when when something is a good project that's gonna be around for a while that's worth investing in, it's gonna be on all the major platforms. And even if it's not on every single major platform, it needs to be at list listed on at least a couple of them. Right? Sure. Instead, it needs to be easy for people to buy. Otherwise, you know, it's not gonna sell. And if it doesn't sell, the price isn't gonna go up because it's market cap compared to, circulation. How many coins are available? Right? It's supply and demand. So you need to make sure that people are able to actually buy it if you wanna invest money into it.

Well, I'm not gonna buy any because, like I said, I'm not I'm not looking to start up another exchange someplace and have to deal with that stuff, and DEX is just ridiculously complicated to do it. And it's a shame though because it is a good name. It should it should do well, and you would hope it would do well. But I don't but you might be right on that one.

It could it could change in the future. You know? It could get more listings. It could get more Sure. Movement. You know? So if I say stay away from this crypto and then all of a sudden, all this stuff changes and, you know, they have all this adaption and function. Well, you know, we had a little bit of a spike up in the market recently. I mean, we we got through crypto week, and the market went up a little bit, and that was great. And, you know, I had hopes that that was gonna be the bull run. But the good news is is that was not the bull run. There's a lot more coming, and it's coming soon. So the market went up quite a bit. It dipped a little bit. And so now we're in this, like, limbo stage right now. The president announced that there was gonna be some crypto report coming at the end of the month, so that'll be good. I don't think it's gonna be as interesting as my crypto report on Patreon, but, that's okay.

So, that's basically when all the other coins other than Bitcoin run. I mean, Bitcoin will run a little bit, but, you know, Bitcoin's a little bit boring. You know, where we really start to make money is when some of the other cryptos start to, you know, double, triple, quadruple. I mean, when trillion let's say a trillion dollars goes into altcoins, and it's just in altcoins. That's gonna make a lot of people maybe wealthy depending on how much money you have in the market.
The thing is is it's not gonna last long. I I feel like it's gonna be a huge, huge, huge spike up, and then it is going to dip pretty quickly. So, it's gonna be fun for a short period of time. You can make some moves, though. You got an opportunity to make a lot of money in a short period of time. And, you know, everyone asks me when, when, when, when, when, when, when. And I I feel like with Taro, it's a little bit difficult to determine when. Originally, I thought the bull run was gonna come in the May, June time. And it happens a little bit in May, but it that wasn't the bull run that I was feeling.
July went a lot more than it did in May, but that wasn't the bull run that I was feeling. So we're seeing some positivity in the crypto market, but there is a lot more to come. And August is going to be the month.

Because I remember last time we talked about it, you were really high on Algorand. And, you know, I in full disclosure, I went out and I bought some. So Good. I'd like to know where where where do you think we're going with Algorand?

There's actually a lot of exciting things happening in Algorand. So, their road map is being released on July 31. That is basically gonna entail, like, everything that they've been working on, what's gonna happen in the future. I think there's gonna be a lot of things, just kind of released that are is going to drive the price of of Algorand. They're working on so many different projects all at once, and just it's gonna be this big explosion for Algorand. And I mean that in a good way. Like, meaning, like, the price is going to go up. So I am still buying Algorand. Now I think when we did our first podcast, Algorand was, like, in the 20¢ range, maybe 18¢, something like that. Now it's like I think it's sitting at, like, 27¢ today, something like that, maybe 26¢.
So it's gone up a little bit, and I think there's a lot more to come with Algorand. I think it's actually possible in the month of August for Algorand to hit a dollar.

It's interesting that you asked this because I just came across my second favorite recently. So, one of the things that I do on my Patreon is I let, all the members ask questions. So I had, like, a million things, a million questions to answer. And somebody asked me about Render. Render is one of the cryptos that I've been pushing on my TikTok for a while. So I was looking at the founder of Render, Jules Urbak. He's got that Stacy Warden energy in terms of the karma, the intelligence, the drive. Now he's not CEO of Render, but he is the founder. He's the CEO of a company called OTOY.
I don't know if that's publicly traded. I don't think it's a crypto. I think it's just a private company, or maybe it's not because Eric Schmidt, the former Google CEO, is on his advisory board. Anyways, this Jules Urbach, the founder of Render, I love him. He is amazing. He is going to be extremely successful. Render is one of my top picks. It's going to be very well utilized in the blockchain. And right now, it's in the $5 range. So, I'm scooping up as much render as I possibly can right now. I think it's gonna I think it's gonna be in the $100 range within the next year or so, and maybe even before the next the year is over. So,

You can make a lot of money in meme coins in in a short period of time, but they're not good long term investments. And the way that I personally invest and the way that I recommend people invest is more long term projects instead of meme coins. So I try to avoid meme coins. ApeCoin, that's that has to do with the meme category. I don't like White Rock. I don't like that energy. I'm not big on Oasis Rose.
Yeah. You know, a lot of people have asked me about that. And I I feel like it's got potential. I really do, but I also feel like there's something going on internally. There's a lot of competition in the market, and, there might be some internal competition too. Something's going on there that they really need to straighten out. Right now, for me, it's a pass. I would stay away from Oasis, unfortunately, even though I really do like the founder. Terra Luna, I would stay away from that. They had a big issue years ago where they were depegged, and, you know, it went from, like, I don't remember how much it was, maybe a $100 to, like, under a penny. I mean, it was it was tragic. I that's the one that I would definitely stay away from just entirely. Just move your money somewhere else Yeah. Where where it's a little bit more stable. You know? XRP is good. Algorand's good. Get the ISO twenty o twenty two coins. XLM is good. HBAR is good.

I think we're gonna hit $5 a coin. I really, really do. So back in April, I put out this prediction on TikTok, and I said that I I ran a whole taro spread on it. I did meditation prior, and I felt really good about putting this prediction out. And it was a little bit bold at the time. I felt that during the bull run, XRP was gonna hit $5 a coin. Mhmm. Where I went wrong on this is the timing. Again, timing is a little bit difficult with taro. I thought that the bull run was gonna come in the May, June time frame, and that didn't happen.
So I'm I'm revising that, and I feel like the bull run is August. And that is when XRP is gonna hit that $5 a coin. So, I

That's a great question. I love Basic Attention Token. Here's the thing. So, god, back in, like, 2020 or 2021 or something like that, it hit, like, I wanna say the $2 range somewhere around there. And I had a lot of basic attention token. And I actually, like, converted some of it into other cryptos because I felt like that was kind of a high at the time, and I'm so grateful that I did that because it's 15¢ a coin right now. You know, it it kinda goes to show you that sometimes, you know, things can go really high up, and then they can tinker over time. They've had some issues. They really need to work on marketing.
I think the functionality of the Brave browser is great. I think a lot of people have adapted to it. I think the security on it is great. I love that you can click on ads and get some free crypto. I do that every month, and I get a little bit of, you know, basic attention token. I think by the end of the year, we're gonna be in the potentially, this is a this is potentially this is a prediction I'm just a little bit I'm, like, 75% sure on this one. Okay? And I wanna put that out there because I'm not a 100% sure. I would say it's gonna be about a dollar by the end of, 2025.

So bat. So something to look into. You know, I didn't I didn't know. I never because I I I've been using Brave for a while, and, I always I've always seen their their little advertisements for for bat. I never really looked into it that much. I didn't realize that when you click on certain ads, you do earn those the some some percentage of bat. And, I think that that's not a bad deal when you think about it, but, where does that but do you have to have a wallet set up with Yes. Brave or you could use an existing wallet you already have? The last time I checked, you have to have either a Gemini account or an Uphold account. And then you connect it to your browser, and then every month, they just deposit them. Nice. Yeah. I have to take a look at that. The the problem the the the problem that I have with a lot of this stuff, and we were kinda talking about it earlier. We were we were talking about something we're gonna gonna ask about at the end of this, particular crypto.
Not all cryptos are traded on the same exchanges. So sometimes you have to have different accounts in here and there, and it gets really really confusing. I mean, isn't there any option that you could put all of it into one place and just, you know, monitor everything in one place?

I mean, you can move it to cold wallet, like a cold wild storage, like a Ledger, an Arculus. But then some of the cold wallet storages, they don't they're not, like, compatible with every single crypto. I like Ledger. Ledger seems to be the best one that I personally found, but, it's difficult. You know? I'll say this. Like, over the course of, you know, the last five years, I have had to open up many different trading accounts and on all different platforms to be able to access certain cryptos. And it's worth it to open an account. It's a pain. You know, you have to go through the ID process. You know, you gotta take a picture of yourself. Yeah. You gotta link your bank account. It really doesn't take that long to do these days, though. I mean, it takes maybe fifteen minutes. So taking that time and setting up the account in that fifteen minutes is definitely worth it if it gives you early access to cryptos that you don't have access to on every single platform.
Like, for example, XDC. I wanna say that's on Uphold. I do like Uphold. Uphold, for whatever reason, seems to give me access to, like, stuff that I don't have access to on other exchanges. Like, when XRP was not allowed to be bought in The United States, I could go on uphold, and I could buy it on uphold. Oh, wow. So, yeah, so I was able to, like, accumulate and accumulate and accumulate when other people maybe couldn't. Like, XDC, that's a ISO 20 o 22 crypto. And for whatever reason, I can't find it on any other platform other than uphold. Now I haven't really looked into it recently, so that could have possibly changed because every month, the the platform seemed to add more crypto. You're like, oh, here's a new one you can do on Coinbase, and Mhmm. Crypto.com has them. And because they all have different, standards that these crypto companies need to meet, the last thing they want is to have these, like, people that make up stupid meme coins get listed on their platforms.
And then there's a rug pull and, you know, people buy into it, and then they sell everything, and voila, poof, it's gone. Right? Because they don't they don't they wanna avoid that. So there's definitely different standards. I would say Coinbase is probably the hardest one to get on. And I've I've spoken with some people that have created different projects on the blockchain, and and they tell me how hard it is to get on Coinbase. You need to have some significant funding and function behind your crypto. So they don't just let anybody on there. Well, I guess that's a good thing too. It is. It really is. That's why I have a tendency to trust Coinbase just a little bit more Mhmm. Than some of the other exchanges.
I've I mean, obviously, they're a publicly traded company, and they have, like, a little bit higher standards. You know? They're they're not gonna just

do the rug pull cryptos. Right? Sure. I mean, they they have investors they have to they have to think about too. So Correct. So, I know what you mentioned, I saw one of your TikToks. You were talking about staking. And, so there there are some people who may not know what staking is. I I've I've become familiar with it. I do have some some of my my crypto and and staked in, on Coinbase. So can you explain what what staking is, and do you think that's a good thing to, get yourself involved with?

Absolutely. Especially if you're a long term holder. So, basically, what staking is is you lock up your crypto under whatever terms the platform has for that staking option. So, like, for example, you know, on on Coinbase, you can stake your Ethereum. And you earn I don't I don't remember what the exact earn rate is. And I wanna It's with if you're not a Coinbase ONE member, it's, like, one point something percent.

And then if you are a Coinbase ONE member, you are at, almost 3%.

Okay. Yeah. So what you do is you you hit the staking option. You lock it up. And so what you can do then is Coinbase will say, okay. Well, we're gonna you're gonna earn a certain percentage every week on this. And we're gonna we're gonna just put it give you, like, a certain amount of Ethereum for locking up for staking your Ethereum. And then, if you wanna unstake it, there's an unstaking waiting period, and it's different for every crypto. You know, it could be a couple days. You wanna know what that unstaking time frame is just for your own, you know, peace of mind. Yeah. With Coinbase, it's twenty two days.

Right. And then crypto.com is a little bit different. They offer a little bit higher staking rates, and there's a lot more options on crypto.com. And you have the choice to lock it up for a month, three months, or, like, have the option to have a lower rate, and you can unstake it at any time. And and, basically, they just deposit, you know, extra crypto into your account. I like doing the three month options because I know that I'm not going to sell mine, and I just wanna earn as much interest as I can because I'm just gonna, you know, hold it for a certain period of time. It also locks it in at the price that you that you staked it at. Correct? And and I I noticed that the that even though,

with Ethereum, which I have on on Coinbase, I noticed, you know, Ethereum, you know, rises and falls and what but it doesn't seem to affect what I have invested in the staking.

What I like about it, though, to be honest with you, and this isn't a plug for any one of these platforms because, you know, I'm not gonna be paid to do that. But, I find that that, when I set up the account on crypto..com, it was really simple. Like, it didn't take a lot of work to do. Like, I have an account with, with a platform called, Dex. What a pain in the ass. It was setting up an account on Dex. And it and then to and then to navigate your way through it to actually purchase coins or sell coins or transfer or convert, What a hassle. I mean, it is just way too many clicks, way too many steps to go through converting this, changing that. It it's just I don't know if they do that on purpose, you know, for the serious investor or or if it's just or or what? I I don't know. But but I I think that a lot of people get turned off from cryptos because of the complexity of trying to set these accounts up. And again, I can see the positives and negatives with that. You know, you want you want people who are serious in this. You don't wanna, you know, you don't you don't wanna have a bunch of people that they're just, I'm in and out, in and out, in and out.
I don't know. Just whatever you do though, just, like, I I would recommend Coinbase. I recommend crypto.com. I think they're the easiest ones to set up accounts with, and, and their wallets now. Now, there's a now there's a difference between keeping your your, your crypto in an on the exchange or or on the platform itself, the trading platform and a wallet. Right? So what's the difference between the two? Because this is something that we should have probably asked them when we first started talking about it, you know, just to introduce people to the ideas of these things. But I didn't think of it until just now. So, what is the difference between leaving it on an on the trading platform or keeping it in the wallet?

So when it's on the trading platform, it's in your account that you can log into, but, you know, not your keys, not your crypto. Some I've heard of people, like, have theirs just randomly disappear if they haven't logged in their into their account in a while. It's always better to, like, have it in cold wallet storage, which is like a USB, a ledger, an Oculus. Then that way, it's stored at a USB. You can hide it in your house

or somewhere else. Yeah. But how do you do that, though? How do you how do you move it from from the interweb onto onto a USB and have it have any value?

So what you do is you when you you set up, like, let's say, your ledger, you know, you can plug in computer or whatnot. You get the receive address on there, and then, like, let's say you go into your Coinbase account, and you hit let's say you wanna send your XRP to your ledger. You hit the you open up your XRP wallet. You hit the send button Mhmm. And you put in your ledger receive address. Okay? And then you just hit send. But when you do that, though, you wanna make sure that you do a test run first, like, where you send a small amount, like, before you send any kind of large amount just to make sure it shows up and everything goes good because I've personally lost crypto.
That way, that kinda sucks. You know? I mean, granted, that was a long, long, long time ago, but, still it's you wanna make sure that you're doing it correctly. Pay the stupid tax is what I call it. Mhmm. Yeah. Basically.

I know a lot of people like you know, they like to do collections and stuff like that. You know, if it's something that's cheap, you know, I and it's something you like to do, I mean, find whatever. I would not put any kind of significant money into it. You know, I've heard of different celebrities that, there was a there was a collection. I wanna say it was, like, an ape collection or something like that years ago that came out and and, celebrities were paying, like, a million dollars for an NFT, and then, like, it tanks. It looks good, but, you know What is it? Going is it gonna increase in value? Or, you know, maybe, hey. Listen. I hope so. I hope so. I you you know, if it's got your name on it, Joe, it probably will. But, you know what I mean? It's just it's just graphics that they're making, and then you mint it into, like, something that only you can have in your wallet, and it's copyrighted and stuff. And, like, I don't know. To me, it's just I I'd rather invest in a layer one blockchain.
Right? If you're gonna invest your money, invest in something that has substance behind it, that has Right. IT functions behind it, you know, that is going to be useful in the world, instead of just, hey. Here's a picture. Let's pay a thousand dollars for it. I'm like I gotcha. I know. Crazy.

It has nothing to do with me whatsoever, but but, I was I was looking at this and I saw I saw it pop up, I think you mentioned it on one of your TikToks and I saw it someplace else. I was reading something on, I think Motley Fool or something like that. And, they mentioned the Joe crypto. And I was like, oh, wow. How cool is that? If, you know, just just just for kicks and giggles, I should buy some of that. Well, I had a hard time finding it, first of all, because nobody no. It's it's only being offered on one place that I found so far, and that's, that's that platform Dex that I saw that I looked at. It was just ridiculously complicated to sign up for. I'm not gonna bother. But, but what do you think about that? The and it's it's the Trader Joe, crypto. Right? Is isn't that what it is? Trader Joe's?

Is it? I I don't know. I do know the crypto that you're talking about. I would say, unfortunately, for me, that's a pass. Even though hey. Listen. It's got a great name. Yeah. You know, it's not listed on a lot of major exchanges, and that's always something that's a little bit of a red flag for me. You when when something is a good project that's gonna be around for a while that's worth investing in, it's gonna be on all the major platforms. And even if it's not on every single major platform, it needs to be at list listed on at least a couple of them. Right? Sure. Instead, it needs to be easy for people to buy. Otherwise, you know, it's not gonna sell. And if it doesn't sell, the price isn't gonna go up because it's market cap compared to, circulation. How many coins are available? Right? It's supply and demand. So you need to make sure that people are able to actually buy it if you wanna invest money into it.

Well, I'm not gonna buy any because, like I said, I'm not I'm not looking to start up another exchange someplace and have to deal with that stuff, and DEX is just ridiculously complicated to do it. And it's a shame though because it is a good name. It should it should do well, and you would hope it would do well. But I don't but you might be right on that one.

So if I say stay away from this crypto and then all of a sudden, all this stuff changes and, you know, they have all this adaption and function.
