In this solo episode from the Asylum Studios in Eagle Pass, I catch up with listeners after a brief break, share updates on our guest lineup, and send prayers for our executive producer Wayne as he recovers from a serious post‑biopsy infection. I thank our growing audiences on Rumble and YouTube, explain why Rumble is our home base, and invite feedback on guests and topics you want next. I also discuss the show’s value‑for‑value model, how to connect via joerooz.com, and ways to support the show as we navigate an unexpected escrow shortfall that could impact our production schedule.
From there, I dive into current events: President Trump’s posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom for Charlie Kirk and the newly declared national day of remembrance; the State Department revoking visas of foreign nationals who publicly celebrated Kirk’s assassination; media double standards around leaked private chats among young Republicans versus violent rhetoric from Democrat AG hopeful Jay Jones; and sharp exchanges at the Supreme Court as Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson draws a controversial ADA analogy in a Voting Rights Act case. I close with an explainer on the interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS—its composition, trajectory, and why it’s puzzling astronomers—plus a primer on the Texas Nationalist Movement’s legislative, peaceful approach to state sovereignty and an upcoming interview with TNM leaders. As always, I invite comments, topic ideas, and community engagement across our platforms.

Mhmm. Transmitting live from the asylum studios deep in the bowels of Southwest Texas, it's the Joe Ruge show. The show where we talk about anything and everything. Where nothing is sacred, nothing is watered down, and nothing is PC.
[00:04:27] Unknown:
Alright. Hey, folks. This is Joe Roos, and it is great to be with you, transmitting live once again at the asylum studios, broadcasting from the pimple on the backside of Texas, the beautiful city of Eagle Pass, and doing the very best that we can to bring you the best quality talk radio we could muster without all the bluster. Welcome to the Joe Ryu Show. Alright. Sorry, I had to laugh coming in. That, that opening track there that we played, I don't know. I I I had to play it. I'm gonna have to I will give copyright, notice in the show notes as to where I got it from, but I had to do it. It was just it just makes me laugh. It really does. And, if there's one thing that we need to do today, well, every day is is laugh at least a little bit. Right? Right.
Now, so how you guys doing? We I mean, we haven't been together in since Sunday. Right? We didn't have a show Monday. I had some things come up last minute that I wasn't able to get get a show in. And then, we're not doing the Tuesday show right now with, our former sponsor. And, so so we didn't have a show Tuesday. And, and today, you know, Wednesday, unusual day, we have no guests lined up. So it's just us for a little while. So I hope you guys are okay with that. And, we normally would have our executive producer, Wayne Rankin, joining us, but Wayne is a bit under the weather still. So I I know I mentioned it to you, on Sunday. We talked about a little bit the week before. Wayne had a biopsy done. And after the biopsy, he's developed a rather, insidious infection.
And I say that joking around in a not so serious way, but it is actually a very serious, infection. It's kinda it's knocked him out. Now if you remember, talking to Wayne at any point, Wayne always had that energy just like an energizer bunny just kept on going and going and going. Wouldn't you know, just doesn't stop. This is not moving, you know, despite being in a vehicle accident. You know, he still had to take care of things around his around his ranch, you know, with the limitations, of course. You know, he can't do everything that he did before because of the injuries he sustained. And and then now, of course, with the with this, surgery that he had, this, this biopsy that was done, that set him back again. So, to to hear Wayne and to see and to to to hear from Wayne and and to get his texts and to to notice the drop in the energy level, that little energizer bunny from Washington state, you know, it it it kinda, you know, kinda, you know, hurts you right here.
A little bit. A little bit. Now Wayne knows I love him. He he is my buddy. Always been Wayne and I have been friends. If if you're new to the show, Wayne has been a friend of mine for almost thirty years, believe it or not. Almost thirty years twenty well, twenty five plus years. Let's put it that way. And, you know, he's just a great friend. He he truly is. He's a great brother in Christ. I love him to death and, you know, just a just an all around great guy. And so if, if if if you think of it, just, you know, send up a prayer for him. Let him know that, let the Lord know that you're thinking about him and, and see if perhaps, the Lord just touch his body, bring him healing. So, please make sure you do that sometime today.
We'd really appreciate that. So a lot of things have taken place over the last couple of weeks. You know, we normally, we we just have guests lined up at the wazoo. And, not that we're complaining about that. We enjoy it. We love talking to folks. I've said before, and I was talking to my producer earlier, before the show, and, you know, basically said, you know, the the truth of the matter is, you guys heard me say this, I love our guests. I love talking to the guests because I learn something new every time we sit down with a guest, you know, from doctor Dave and, Peter Ticton, and and, and just the gamut of guests that we've had over the I mean, I was looking at, actually on Pod Home, which is where we first originally started getting our guests from, have over 50 plus guests, that we've hosted just from Pod Home alone.
And then, of course, we have other other, outlets that we're we've been getting guests from. And so, it's I said Pod Home Pod Match. I'm sorry. Pod Match. Pod Home is our host platform. So we've we've had, you know, quite a number quite a few guests. I I wanna say upwards of seventy, seventy five guests. And, and some hundreds of well, let's see. 75 guests in a 100 and which is this is episode one eighty five. Yeah. Yeah. Is that what it says? Yeah. Episode one eighty five. My eyes are going, folks. They are going. So, you know, it's been great having the guests. We're looking forward to it. We got we got a lineup coming up in the next few days. That's gonna really be impressive to you.
Really looking forward to, to talking to some of the folks that'll be coming on here. And, it's gonna be it's gonna be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it. I I like having guests on the show because, you know, to be honest with you, you know, guys do shows by themselves all the time. I've done shows by myself now for a while, and you know, it's it's it's okay to do. I personally, I like to have somebody on the show with me. This way we can talk, you know, have a conversation. Because after a while, you get tired of hearing me drone on and on and on and on and on. I know that. I understand that. I appreciate that, and I appreciate everybody for sticking around. Somebody close to me said, recently that I I put myself down too much. I need to stop doing that. Why? It's fun. It's funny.
I think it's funny. If I think it's funny, you should think it's funny, but maybe you don't. I don't know. That's okay. Drop a comment down below. Let me know what you think on that one. And, I just wanna say also welcome to our, our new listeners, our new viewers actually on Rumble. I I noticed, I noticed yesterday that, we are one away from 500 subscribers on on, Rumble. So let's, let's hope we get somebody else today. I wanna hit that 500 mark. That's a that's a great goal for me to have, and, I'm I'm excited about that, you know. 500, that'd be awesome. Right? And then let's keep building from there.
Also notice to the folks that are watching on YouTube, thank you. Appreciate you, patronizing YouTube. I don't know why you're on YouTube. You should be on Rumble where we are. This is our home base for video. So you need to come over to Rumble, check us out here. And, you know, we have, I think because I don't I don't promote very well anything, to be honest with you. And I don't I I I on Rumble, like I said, it just it's just growing organically. But YouTube, I don't mention I hardly ever mentioned YouTube. Hardly ever. And, the, and our numbers are increasing on YouTube. We only have like, I think 38 or 39, followers on on YouTube, But considering that we had 15 a month ago, that was that's pretty good. That's a it's a pretty good increase, and, I appreciate it. Thank you. I do. I really wish you'd come over to Rumble. That's kinda where we wanna be, Because eventually, what we're gonna start to do is we're gonna start to not stream shows to YouTube.
And we want because we want everybody on Rumble. Rumble is a free speech platform. Rumble is, is to me anyway, it's it's the it's the best video platform that you can get yourself involved with. The the management of Rumble is fantastic, incredibly supportive, and, so you need you need to check it out. Rumble is a great platform to be part of. If you're if you're a if you're a content creator, if you are a host, if you are interested in doing check out Rumble. Alright? It's very simple to do. Just go to rumble.com/joeroos, and, you could find our show there. And, I think I even have a I have a link somewhere that I could send you out, like, so you could sign up through my link. I get some credit for it. So try it out. Try it. Try it, Rumble.
If you wanna stay on YouTube, again, I don't know why, but stay on YouTube. That's fine. You could do that too. And, you know, but I appreciate everybody that's been watching. Thank you so much for the support. Thank you for the comments, by the way. Been getting a lot of, a lot of good feedback on, on the shows we've been doing, especially with our guests. And, the the quality of guests that we've had, has been great, and I I just really appreciate everybody that's been, providing feedback to us on it to kinda keep us in the kinda keep us in the know as to what you guys are thinking. And like I always say, you know, you I I wanna hear from you. I wanna know what you want. I wanna know what you what kind of guest you're looking for. I would like to know what kind of topics you'd like to discuss. That's very important to me. And, so if you would just, you know, drop a comment, let me know what you think. Now, as always, this show is brought to you tonight by podhome.fm.
You You heard me mention PodHome earlier mistakenly on on another issue, but, podhome.fm is my host platform for the podcast, the audio side of the podcast. Great platform. Been with them for three years. Almost three years. And, PodHome is, is honestly I mean, I I have the read here in front of me. I could read it to you. You know, it is it is the most modern and easy to use podcast host platform that's out there. It really it truly is. I've been on several other platforms. And, all those platforms, they're good. They they do they they they provide a service, but they're also incredibly expensive.
Did I turn that off? Oh, no. I think my remote there we go. Okay. Much better. I don't know if you heard that or not, but the, from the I have a fan over over here because it gets really hot in the studio. So I have a fan over here, and as it's blowing, it's giving feedback on the mic. So I was saying about Pod Home. I've been on other platforms. I I started out on on one particular platform. I'm not gonna name any other platforms, And it was good. It was basic. It was simple. It was easy to upload shows on. You know, had some basic features on it. Didn't cost anything. It was a free platform to use, which is, you know, you get what you pay for. Right?
But it was a good platform. It's a good place to start, but very very limited on what you can do with it. And then, I moved over to another platform, which is a paid platform, and and I did that because, you know, I wanted to do live shows. And, I did the live shows, and I wasn't doing this particular show. I was doing another one. And great features, you know, that had the live features, that had the ability to where where you can control, your ad placement in the in the course of the video so you can monetize your the the video, the audio. You can monetize your audio, and you can pretty much put where you want your ads. So it was easy to do, you know, every time I would alright. We'll be back right after this, and then then through, you know, insert ads, and then, you know, move on from that. And it had the feature to, broadcast your show live, which was fantastic. I love doing live shows.
It's just better for me because it forces me to do better. It's a different vibe altogether when you're doing a live show as opposed to a, a prerecorded show. And, you know, it's just it's just I love it. It's a lot of fun. I I prefer that. So, love doing it. And all of a sudden, one day, they they just changed their plans around, and there was no more live feature. And I was paying a ridiculous amount of money every month. And, I was only paying that because I wanna do the live stuff. So, then I found Pod Home. And, Pod Home came across, and they were like, hey, look. You know, you sign up today. You get thirty days free. And at the time, it was it was you you sign up, you got thirty days free, you got also a two months free, so you had, like, three months to play with this thing for for for nothing.
And then after that, it was a a monthly subscription of $15.99 a month, which is phenomenal. And, the reason why I say it's phenomenal is because number one, you can use it to publish your episodes. You can have you have audio enhancement. You can automatically generate transcripts, chapters, titles, show notes. You can do chapter art. You could do, episode art. You could do all types of different things with the with the audio, side of it. It trans like I said, it transcribes the show, and, it connects to the modern podcast two point o apps in that you can, connect your crypto wallet to it. And you could, receive Satoshis, sats. And you hear me mentioned sometimes at the end of the show, you know, I I say I give a thank you to the folks that are streaming sats to us on the modern podcast apps.
And, if you're wondering what those are, you're like a podcast guru, fountain.fm, truefans.fm, Podverse, Pocketcast, all those are, podcasting two point o compliant or or or partnered with podcasting two point o platforms. And, you can connect your crypto wallet to it, and you can stream stats to the show, which is great because it's it's live. It's it's letting people know it's letting you know as a host that people are listening, they're active, they're engaged, they're they're they appreciate your your content, and and they're giving you little tips. Because Satoshis are really like pennies when you come to really think about it. See how hot it gets in here quick. Let's put that back on. Just lower it down.
So Satoshis are just like micro payments of, bit Bitcoin and, the pennies, like I said. I think I you know what? I might be gonna try to figure out the math on that right now because I'm just drawing a blank on it. But, it it's it's a great way to connect with your audience, and it's it's I love doing it, and it's it's a lot of fun. And, so I say thank you to those folks all the time for doing that, and you could do that through PodHome. Some of the other platforms you can't do that with, but you can do it with Pod Home. And, again, you're podcasting live through Pod Home. Pod Home has a player that you could download and you could well, not download, but you could use the you can get the code from Pod Home inserted onto your website, and you have a web player. That's what I use on my website, joeroos.com.
You go there to the homepage, you see the podhome.fm player. You can customize that thing. You can make it match your col match your show colors or whatever. Whatever color you like or however you wanna lay it out, you can customize it. It's great. And then, if you don't have a website, hey, don't pod home. We'll provide you a website. They'll give you a website for free, and it's super easy to to to to get started with and to maintain. It it's and all of that, everything that I just mentioned to you is all for $15.99 a month. Just $15.99 a month. And Podom does street does distribute to all of your major podcast outlets like, I I shouldn't say major. I should more like legacy like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart. It it'll it'll distribute to all of those for you. No problems. No concerns.
But it'll also distribute distribute to the smaller, modern podcast apps that are out there that I say smaller, but they're growing rapidly. So you should check them out. Podhome.fm. I should have put the, the banner up there. My my bad on that one. Podhome.fm. There you go. Just try them out. Again, thirty days free. And after the thirty days, I guarantee you're gonna wanna stick with it, and it'll be just $15.99 a month after that. Just $15.99 a month after that. Again, quality, customer support, fantastic, top notch. You're gonna love it.
So make sure you head over there and check them out. Alright? Also, don't forget, head over to our website. And like I said, when you get to our website, you'll see the Pod Home, media player right there in front of you. Try it out. Play with it. See what you'll see if you like it. And it's it's streaming live right now. So if you go there live, you'll hear the audio of the show there. Alright. So you can have a joeroos.com. And when you get over there, look for the contact form. Just click the little pancake up on the upper right there, drop it down, go to contact us, hit that contact button, open up the little window, send us over a message. Let us know whatever's on your heart, whatever's in your mind. Any questions, comments, cares, or concerns that you have, any issues that you might have, you know, maybe you have a suggestion for a guest or a topic you'd like to talk about, I wanna hear it. So let me know what you're thinking, and myself and my producing team will do the best we can to put that all together for you. Also, while you're there, check out the support page. Alright?
And, on the support page there, you know, just, take a look at the at the options that we have available to you. You could do a one time donation. You could do a recurring donation. You could do you could set up, yourself as a as an associate producer, producer, executive producer. Each of them have their own little perks, so you could do that. We really appreciate that. You also have our crypto wallet information up there as well. And, again, we go into all the details of this stuff at the end of the show, and I'm gonna bore you with it at this point. And then, also, I'd like to, throw this up there for you too. I have a QR code that you that just popped up on your screen there. Alright. So here's the deal. So, I have, I have an issue that has, that has popped up here, at at the, at the studio, which is my house. And, the, the thing we got going on here is that we have a, an escrow shortage on the mortgage payment.
Alright. Now as you know, mortgage payments usually include your escrow, and then that includes, you know, your property tax and stuff. Well, we had a property tax increase, not only property taxes, but school tax, hospital district tax, and all these different taxes and stuff that went up, dramatically, to say the least. So, it turns out now at this point, I'm going to have a $3,000 almost a $3,000 shortfall in the escrow, which is, which is pretty big. Don't know how they figured how that happened, but that's what happened. And, now to to to fix that, I either have to come up with a one time, you know, lump sum payment by the end of this month, or I have to pay it out over the course of the next year, which will increase my mortgage payment by a significant amount, which will be very difficult for us to continue to do the shows on a regular basis. So we, you know, we're gonna we're looking at probably having to scale it back quite a bit.
Why is that? Because I'm probably gonna have to go get a second job, third job actually, and, and just to just to pay the taxes, you know, which is ridiculous when you think about it. And that's another thing too, you know. I I I listen to I listen to the news all the time, and, you know, you hear the administration, and again, you guys know this. I am I am a fan of Donald Trump. I think, you know, he is the right man for the right time. I give him an a plus on the border. I give him I give him an a rating on every just about every area that I that that he's touched, foreign policy, the the peace president. I mean, for crying out loud, he just he just negotiated peace here in, in The Middle East, you know, which people said would not happen ever. And we'll we'll get more to that in just a few minutes here. But if, you could, very easily, you know, look around you and say, you know, I have to get another job just to pay my taxes?
And they get up at these podiums, and they tell you that, well, the economy's doing great. Food prices are down. Really? I don't think so. Gas prices are down. Not really. Energy prices. I I, you know, I I I got my electric bill last week. I know this is not what you wanna hear on the show. Right? You know, you wanna hear other stuff. You don't wanna be bitch and complain about living, cost of living. But, you know, here we are, and, you know, I got my electric bill, and I I need a fourth job just to pay the damn electric bill. I mean, it's like, that's an exaggeration, you know that. But but that's the thing. I I it's it's it's been a bit it's, it's getting tight. So, you know, we're looking at the possibility of, you know, we need to either take on some more sponsors, or we're gonna have to scale down everything we're doing here so I can, you know, actually get out and do something to bring in more money, so I can just pay the taxes on everything.
Other than that, you know, it's it's gonna be tough. So that's why we set the GoFundMe up, so the QR codes up there on the screen. And, if you, if you have the means to do it, you're able to do it. If you can help us out, you know, any amount is helpful, we would really appreciate that. So if you can just scan the QR code, it'll take you right up to the GoFundMe page. And again, I I would appreciate I am terrible at the ask. I don't like to do that. And, I see a a a comment here from, from from Danny. Well, yeah.
I I agree with you, a 100000% there, buddy. I was waiting for the phone call on Saturday, last Saturday. Didn't get it. So make the call, bud. And, we'll talk. Because, you know, I, Danny's a great guy, by the way. He he's he's he's a he's a good friend, and, I appreciate him very much. And, you know, we we had been talking about doing some stuff together. So, yeah. He was supposed to call last Saturday, but he didn't. I get him. He's busy. He's a busy guy. He's a busy guy. So, having said all that, let's see what else we got here for you. Alright. So the support page, if you could help us out, whatever you got. And just so you know, any donations that we do get for the show, all are being put into the the fund for the, for the escrow shortage.
So, whatever you can do, we appreciate it, and I can't say it enough. Thank you. And I hate asking for this stuff. This is driving me crazy. It really does. It drives me crazy. I hate doing it. Alright. Let's see what else we got here. What else we got here? Alright. Well, we got, that. Do I need to go into all the value for value stuff? Should I? Yeah. Why not? So, remember, this is a value for value show. Alright? And, all that basically means that if you receive anything of value from what we're putting out here, we're asking that you return the value to us in the form of that donation. And again, those donations go right into the GoFundMe. Alright?
To help pay the bills. Alright. I think that should, just about do it for that. I think I've wasted enough of your time, my friends. So, let's get into some of the stuff that's been going on now. As I indicated earlier, you know, lot of things took place over the last couple of weeks. And again, you know, because of the guests and the and the schedule we've had with guests, I haven't really been able to comment too much on what's going on with this administration. And once again, you know, I do I I I love what the administration is doing. I think they're doing a fantastic job, especially on on matters of the border. I'm getting my tea here. Sorry.
Especially on matters of the border. I think they did a fantastic job. That that's an a plus plus plus plus. Deportations, I think I think it's spot on exactly what needs to be done. That said, of course, we don't wanna see any injury or harm come to the ICE agents and federal law enforcement, national guardsmen that have to be deployed, in order to, to facilitate these things because of the radical left or lunatics, and they will do everything in their power to hurt, maim, kill, as evidenced by the assassination of Charlie Kirk, to, to silence, any opposing, viewpoints.
So, and I don't say it flippantly. I I I really don't. So please don't misunderstand. We're gonna talk about, some of the Charlie Kirk stuff here, shortly. So I lost my train of thought. Okay. Yeah. I got it. So, again, the issue is the economy. The economy is tough. It it still is tough, and I get it. I understand it that it's it's and I've used the analogy before. It's like it's like steering a ship, like a like a cruise ship, an ocean liner, you know. You're not gonna stop on a dime. It's impossible to stop on a dime, and then turn the thing around. So you you it's it's gonna be a process. It took it took four years to wreck the economy, or just about four years to wreck the economy.
It's gonna take some time to turn it around. Then, of course, you have the tariffs, and, you know, a lot of discussion about tariffs, which I didn't think really to talk about too much tonight, so I'm not gonna get too far into it. But but tariffs? Look. I I don't I I don't have an issue with tariffs. I think tariffs are I think tariffs are a good idea. It's how we funded the government, for, for for hundreds of years. Well, about a hundred years. Sorry. I'm exaggerating things I know. Are are tariffs the only way to fund the government though? I would like to say yes. I would I would hope it would be.
I would. And because I don't I don't think taxation I don't I don't think of I don't I don't think a personal income tax is the right way to go. I think a personal income tax is, first of all, immoral. That and property taxes, and and I don't wanna get started on all that stuff because I'm like, I'm not totally prepared to talk about it. I wasn't planning on talking about taxes tonight, so, but taxes are immoral. I I I firmly believe that, especially a personal income tax is per is is just horrible. It's it's it's it's theft is what it is.
It's theft. It's it's the federal government coming to you, putting a gun to your head saying, you pay me now or you go to jail. You know, that's not what our founding generation envisioned. Remember prop income taxes were supposed to be temporary, and they were supposed to affect us a very small percentage of the population, those folks that, you know, the quote unquote rich, so so they can pay their fair share, and and all that lovely stuff. But of course, it doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way. When you have 50% of the population not paying an income tax, that are receiving benefits, but not contributing to it, more than 50%.
It doesn't work. It doesn't work. Now if you had a national sales tax, maybe that might be better. You know, why? Well, you think think about it. Everybody has to buy stuff, and, the more money you have, the more expensive things you'd like to buy, the more more tax you would end up paying on the on the purchase. Right? That could fully fund your government. It's simple, actually. It's very, very simple. I don't think I would have an issue with the the the sales tax like that. I I don't think I would, as long as the state sales tax disappears as well, because then you you know, you have a state sales tax of eight point something percent, then you have a federal sales tax on top of that. It it just doesn't it it it won't work. You need to have a a a national tax or a flat tax or a fair tax or whatever kind of tax you wanna call it other than a a personal income tax and all the other taxes involved with it.
Just my opinion. I might be wrong. Drop a comment. Let me know what you think. Would appreciate that immensely. Alright. Now I'm not gonna rant too much on taxes. I do have other stuff that I wanna talk about and get to today, including some stuff here in Texas. Because as you guys know, I am a, well, let me let me skip to that. Let let me take care of this stuff here first, and then we'll get to the Texas stuff, and then we'll close it out with something else. Something actually that is I I I find fascinating, very interesting. So we'll we'll spend a little bit of maybe about half an hour on that. Alright. So now as you guys know, Charlie Kirk was mercilessly executed publicly, last month, believe it or not. And it's the the the shock wave of that still kinda rippling its way through through the through the world. And I say that I don't and I say that purposely through the world.
What I find really disgusting is the negative, comments that you get from the left, and we're not gonna play clips of all that stuff. I didn't have a chance to pull any of those things, of those people celebrating the death of a human being, of a husband, a father, an American citizen, someone who loved his country, someone who basically challenged you to think. I think that was his greatest, you know, quote, unquote sin was that he made the left think. He went to college campuses, the the the the the seat of modern liberalism, and he challenged people to think critically, to present their ideas and then defend their ideas.
Why do you believe this? He challenged people to think. He gave the left actually exactly what they wanted, and that was talk. Let's talk. Let's have dialogue. Let's let's have discussion. He gave that to them. And how did they respond to it? They killed them. They killed them. And, they could try to spin it any way they want. You know, you've heard the stories that the alleged assassin was, was a MAGA guy. He was not a MAGA guy. The alleged assassin's family was were conservatives. They were Republicans. They were Trump supporters. Maybe.
Maybe. But he wasn't. But he wasn't. From what the information that we have been given so far, he wasn't. Now without delving too far into the conspiracy theories of all these things, And I I I don't I don't say conspiracy theory to be light or to diminish it because I don't think they're really conspiracy theories. I think that there are conspiracy facts in a lot of in a lot of what's out there. You're seeing all these videos coming out different angles of of what happened, lot of questioning of the narrative, and justifiably so.
But beyond all that, yesterday, which was, would have been Charlie Kirk's birthday, the president of The United States, in the middle of achieving peace in The Middle East, awarded Charlie Kirk posthumously the, presidential medal of freedom, which is the highest, civilian honor that can be that can be, can be given. And, and, of course, that was also Charlie Kirk's birthday. And, the president also signed a proclamation designating October the fourteenth two thousand twenty five to be a national day of remembrance for Charlie Kirk. And, I have a I have a clip here from yesterday, with president Trump at the podium.
He, I guess he I guess you could say he delivered some remarks before the, before the military aid read a citation for, for Charlie's, medal of freedom. And, in that citation, he was recognized as one of the most influential American political figures of his generation. And, so let's, let's let's go over to here. We're gonna we're gonna share this screen here. And, this is yesterday at the White House.
[00:36:55] Unknown:
One month after Charlie's death, we still feel the terrible shock and the pain of his loss like just about nobody I can think of. Charlie Kirk was one of a kind. He was unstoppable. And he really was boy, when he had an idea in his head, oh, he was he would call me. Sir, please. You haven't done it yet. I said, Charlie, relax. Just relax. He didn't relax. He called me the next day again. He got it done. But he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, just about anybody. I can think of. Charlie, that kind of was one of a kind that kind of talent. Stop it. The word talent is an important word, but that kind of talent. Alright. Let's stop that for one just like here. Memory in our hearts is gonna be every single day of additional audio is coming from. We will continue to to carry out the mission for which he lived, and he really did. He lived for this country. He lived for his wife and his family, but he lived for this country too.
In Charlie's honor, we will continue like I don't know where it's coming from. To fight, fight, fight, and to win win win. We're gonna win so much.
[00:38:06] Unknown:
Let's do this.
[00:38:09] Unknown:
So the presidential medal of freedom is a big deal. You have the congressional medal of honor, military, and the presidential medal of freedom, which is civilian. And the president's medal of freedom is a really big deal. Very few people get it. Very few people, frankly, qualify. It's a decision of the
[00:38:32] Unknown:
qualifier. There it is. Found it. Sorry, guys. Sorry. I am a terrible host. I know. Alright. Let's, let's just try this one more time. I'm gonna share the screen. Did we do it? Good grief. Hey. There we go.
[00:39:13] Unknown:
It's like just about nobody I can think of. Charlie Kirk was one of a kind. He was unstoppable, and he really was boy, when he had an idea in his head, oh, he was he would call me. Sir, please. You haven't done it yet. I said, Charlie, relax. Just relax. He didn't relax. He called me the next day again. He got it done. But he was, like, indomitable and always will be he's really irreplaceable. Nobody gonna replace him. But they're gonna do great, but you can't replace that kind of person and that kind of talent, frankly. The word talent is an important word, but that kind of talent. So we hold his memory in our hearts forever. Every single day of this administration, we will continue to carry out the mission for which he lived, and he really did. He lived for this country. He lived for his wife and his family, but he lived for this country too.
In Charlie's honor, we will continue like we have been to fight, fight, fight, and to win, win, win. We're gonna win so much. So the presidential medal of freedom is a big deal. You have the congressional medal of honor, military, and the presidential medal of freedom, which is civilian. And the presidential medal of freedom is a really big deal. Very few people get it. Very few people, frankly, qualify. It's a decision of the president, but it it's a qualification that's a very hard one to to get. And I would like to ask, if I might, the military aide to read Charles James Kirk's citation for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Thank you very much. Thank you.
[00:41:23] Unknown:
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is awarded to Charles James Kirk. Accepting on behalf of Charlie is his wife, missus Erica Kirk. Charlie Kirk was one of the most influential American pop political figures of his generation. At just 18 years old, he founded Turning Point USA and grew it into the largest conservative youth organization in the nation. For over a decade, he tirelessly traveled the country leading a movement to restore respect for our founding principles, reawaken our national identity, and inspire a renewed spirit of religious devotion. He was one of the great debaters and communicators of his time.
Despite receiving repeated threats, he remained undeterred and modeled courage, logic, humor, and grace to the next generation. On 09/10/2025, at age 31, Charlie Kirk was assassinated while addressing a group of students. The United States honors him as a martyr for truth and freedom.
[00:43:29] Unknown:
Beautifully done. Beautifully done. Well deserved. And I would imagine that that like again, I don't know Charlie Kirk personally. I've I've never met the man, and, you know, I've only seen what I've seen. But, I would imagine he'd be very humbled by this. And, his his wife went on to make some remarks, which were which were great. We don't have time to to roll into those. Do you have a lot more I wanted to talk to you about? But, it was an important day yesterday. It was an important day because to me, at least, it's it it demonstrates to the left that what Charlie Kirk was doing, what Charlie Kirk stood for will not go away.
That no matter what these people do or how they try to silence this movement, We're not gonna forget. We're never gonna let it go. And this is just gonna make us fight harder. So God bless Erica Chert, Erica Kirk, Charlie Kirk, his family. And, you know, let's folks, let's let's let's carry the torch here. Bring the discussion. Let's talk about these things. I know there's been a lot of influencers out there, a lot of content creators, a lot of, well known political pundits that a bit that are out there on the right that are carrying the torch. Glenn Beck, is one that I know of.
Benny Johnson. We will be going out there doing these turning point USA, meet ups and rallies and and conversations at the at the school campuses. And they're gonna carry on the they're gonna carry this whole thing forward. And, you know, and that's great, and it needs to be done. And I'm very thankful that it's gonna be done. And, of course, you know, all of this, you know, also goes along with the, the left, the insane left, and their horrible, horrific comments that, and the the the funny thing is is they think they're funny. They think it's cute. They think it's funny talking about and and and and and degrading and denigrating a husband, a father, a Christian, a patriot, and someone who just wanted to talk.
And yet these liberals go out there, and they they they they make these little TikTok videos. They think they're so great. They think so wonderful. They're very attached. And they think so funny and special and cute. Special. Yeah. Not in a good way, though. It's terrible. God forbid. God forbid something like this happened to somebody on the left, and people on the right did those things, made those types of videos, talked about that person the way that they are talking about Charlie Kirk. God forbid that should be. God forbid that should happen. It would be wall to wall chaos.
It would. Not only not only because of on the TikTok videos, but there will be riots in the street. Because the left are unhinged. The left are demonic, satanic, their ideology, and and is drifting further and further and further to the left. It's it's the the the left right now, the Democratic Party is not the Democratic Party of JFK. It's it's far removed from that. As a matter of fact, if if JFK were alive today and saw the direction of the Democratic Party's going to, he wouldn't even recognize. He'd be actually considered, probably a a a a conservative.
Conservative democrat or maybe even a a a moderate republican. I you know? But, you know, all all you know, they have their they have their say. They they can say what they need what they wanna say. I I I okay. That's fine. But you have to understand that there are repercussions. There are consequences to your actions. Right? So if you wanna go out there and you want and you want to denigrate someone like that, you wanna say the things that you said about them about them, make fun of him, make fun of his family, threaten him, threaten his family, threaten his children, threaten his wife, there will be repercussions. And we saw that. We saw a lot of a lot of folks on the left, getting fired, losing their jobs, getting suspended, you know, you know, all all kinds of repercussions coming down the pipe. But what about those folks that are here as guests in the country?
What about those folks that hold visas here in The United States? Do you think that they get a free pass on on saying whatever it is they wanna say? Do you think that they hide they can hide behind the first amendment? Do you do you think that's the case? Well, how about this? The state department to the, revokes visas of foreigners who celebrated Charlie Kirk's murder says they wish death on Americans. Alright. The state department has state has started revoking visas for foreign foreigners found to have celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk. Following Kirk's brutal assassination during a speaking event in Utah Valley University, last month, many leftist took to social media to celebrate his death. Some of those individuals happen to be guests here in These United States.
In a post on the x platform state department said it had, quote, no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans. The state department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk, the department wrote. Let's go here. Let's have to share this because there's just way too many things to grab here. Alright. So let's see if you can see that. Maybe I can blow it up just a bit. How about that? So The The United States has this Department of State tweet or a post. The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans. State department continued to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk. Here are just a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in The US.
An Argentine national said that Kirk, quote, devoted his entire life spreading racist, xenophobic, misogynistic rhetoric, and deserved to burn in hell. Visa revoked. A South African national mocked Americans grieving the loss of Kirk saying they're hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom and alleging he was to he was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash. Visa revoked. Mexican national said that Kirk died being a racist. He died being a misogynist and stated there are people who deserve to die. There are people who would make the world better off dead. Well, your visa is revoked.
A Brazilian national charged that Charlie Kirk was the reason a Nazi rally was the reason for a Nazi rally where they marched an homage to him and that Kirk died too late. Visa remote. Revoked. A German national celebrated Kirk's death and attempted to justify his murder writing, when fascists die, Democrats don't complain. You know what? Your visa is revoked. A Paraguayan national charge at Charlie Kirk was a son of a bitch, and he died by his own rules. Your visa is revoked. State department went on to say, POTUS and secretary Rubio, will defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens by enforcing our immigration law. Aliens who take advantage of America's hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed.
Okay. But what about the first amendment? Now, there are some first amendment absolutists out there who will say that, you know, they could say whatever they wanna say. Yeah. Okay. But understand this, the first amendment to the constitution of United States is not is not a protection that's afforded to foreigners. Okay? It is a protection on the speech of American citizens, not foreigners. Alright? So you are here as a guest of the American people. And that think of it like this, you, me, you you have someone in your home, you invited a guest for dinner, and your guest starts acting crazy. Your guest starts spewing a lot of things that are offensive to you.
Are you within your right to have that person removed from your house? Of course you are. But what about the First Amendment? The First Amendment is a protection of speech for American citizens from the government. I don't have to be subject to that, so you can leave my house. The American people, through the secretary of state, are telling these people that they have to leave. If you're gonna come here and you're gonna repay our hospitality by celebrating the death of an American citizen, by celebrating the assassination of an American citizen for exercising his right to free speech, then you don't belong here.
You need to leave. And on that, I stand firmly with the secretary of state with the state department. They need to go and many more. Let me know what you think about that. Drop a comment down below. Send me an email, [email protected]. [email protected]. So another little thing popped up today, which I thought was kind of a kind of it's really nothing to be quite honest with you. But, let's see. The Young Republicans, are you are you familiar with them? The Young Republicans? Well, apparently, National Review, Politico, I think it started with Politico, published a, a set of private text messages from 2,022.
No. Correction. I'm sorry. I'm in the wrong spot. I'm in the wrong spot. I am so sorry. Okay. Here we go. So Politico let me pull this up. Politico posts this on a Twitter or x or Twix yesterday. Exclusive. Thousands of leaked messages show leaders of young Republican groups joking about gas chambers, slavery, and rape in a private Telegram chat. Inside rising inside rising GOP leaders racist chats obtained by Politico and spanning more than seven months. And you could see some of them here. It's, you know, you're giving nationals too much credit, expecting the Jew to be honest. If we ever had a leak in this chat, we would be cooked.
Now, How where do I start with this? I had to clear my head when we got started, but how do how do we start with this? So, look, this is a private Telegram chat. Alright? This is this is nothing. This is just a bunch of guys just shooting things around. If you actually read the texts, you can tell by the tone of the text. And don't tell me you can't do that because you know you do. You can read things into a text message. You could easily read things into a text message. You could easily read feelings or emotions into a text message. Alright? Same thing here. If you actually read these things, the the this was they were not serious.
This was not this is absolutely nothing. The media research center has analyzed the coverage of, the Jay Jones scandal. Alright. And, Jay Jones is what I was starting with there. We'll we'll get to that in a second. Let me see. Where am I go where where do I wanna start this? Let's start from the top. So this is, this is from, an article published by Gateway Pundit. Vice president JD Vance JD Vance is lashing out with good reason while Democrats remain strangely silent about the resurfaced text from Virginia Democratic attorney general candidate Jay Jones in which he fantasized about murdering Republican lawmakers and their children. The party is leading the charge to annihilate young Republicans for off color jokes in private group chats.
Last week, the National Review and other outlets published a set of private texts from 2022 in which then Virginia delegate Jay Jones allegedly wrote to Republican delegate Carrie Conte, Koiner, quote, Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. Gilbert receives both bullets every time. Additional messages included Jones doubling down after calling Koiner, claiming that politicians must feel pain themselves like the agony that parents feel when they watch their children get killed. Jones also said that he wished Gilbert's wife, would Jones also said he watched he wished Gilbert's wife could watch her own child die in her arms so that Gilbert might move to the left politically. Infuriated by his wretched remark, Quiner hung up the phone.
Alright. Now just think about that. Just just just think about that for a second. This is a this is a person who who very who could very likely become the, attorney general for the state of Virginia saying those things about a political opponent or a political rival. Now the media research center has analyzed the coverage of the Jay Jones scandal and found out that all of the major networks of all the major networks, only NBC covered it, and they only gave it they gave the story sixty three seconds. The media works for the Democratic Party. There is no denying it. Contrast that to this with contrast that silence with how Politico and its allies handled private conversations among conservatives. Thousands of messages from a private telegram group involving about 50 young Republican leaders from states like like Kansas, New York, Virginia, spanning seven months, were leaked to a far left political. Participants allegedly shared racist slurs, anti Semitic remarks, praise for Adolf Hitler, and fantasies of violence, including gas chambers, slavery, and rape.
The verified messages confirmed by screenshots and participants prompted immediate firings, such as Kansas chairman William Hendricks, from attorney general Kris Kobach's office resignations, the disbanding of the Kansas chapter, and condemnations from the National Young Republican Federation. The Young Republican board of directors released the following statements, which, by the way, I think is repulsive. Absolutely repulsive that they released a statement like this. This is maybe 02/2020. This is the response that you would get maybe in 2000 not today. We are appalled by the vile and inexcusable language revealed in Politico.
Such behavior is disgraceful, unbecoming of any Republican, and stands in direct opposition to the values of our move our movement represents. Those involved must immediately resign from all positions within their state and local young Republican organizations. We must hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism. You know what? The board of directors, the young Republicans, drop the ball here. Totally drop the ball here. This was a group chat. This was a bunch of kids blowing off steam. That's all it was.
And if you actually read them, you would understand that. You could definitely pick up the tone in this thing. Well, vice president Vance just, responded to this. He's he, took the took two x, and, this is what he had to post. This is far worse than anything said in a college group chat, and the guy who said it could could become the AG of Virginia. I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence. And he shows a screenshot of the text messages between, Jay Jones and, Koiner.
Only people only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. And then, of course, some of the, some of the comments that followed on x. Let's get that up there. There we go. Gonna make that bigger for you. Okay. Call me old fashioned, but I think candidates for the position of attorney general of the state of Virginia should be held to a higher standard than random young Republican staffers. Young Republicans blowing off steam and immature group text isn't the same universe as powerful Democrat fantasizing about killing kids couldn't give a crap less about that nonsense. Until every Democrat denounces Jay Jones' text fantasizing about murdering Republicans and their children, I don't give a fuck about edgy jokes by young Republicans in group chats.
Have you asked every elected Democrat how they stand? Go do actual work. Useless political retards. And I agree with those sentiments completely. Absolutely completely. This is just a bunch of kids playing on their phones, getting themselves in trouble. That's all it is. That that's all it was. There's nothing here. It's nothing. But yet, of course, the left is making this a whole big thing, and they're trying to paint this into a picture that it it doesn't exist. When in the meantime, on the left, you have Jay Jones, who could potentially be the next Attorney General of Virginia, talking about killing children.
Double standards, and they paid no attention to it. You you I read it to you. Sixty three sixty three seconds on NBC. That's all they paid to Jay Jones, but this blowing up everywhere. Unnecessarily and stupid. Incredibly stupid. Speaking of stupid. Spe speaking of stupid, there's a good segue right there. Speaking of stupid, how about, how about the, the the the, the the DEI higher Supreme Court justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson. Did you hear about this one today? So there's a hearing at the Supreme Court that involves section two of the Voting Rights Act trying to determine whether it's unconstitutional or not.
And, justice Brown, in her statement, in a statement that she made to one of the attorneys, seemed to compare black Americans to Americans with disabilities. Now, the case is known as, it's a Louisiana versus Calais, and that it basically considers whether Louisiana's congressional map, which includes two majority black districts, They're trying to consider whether or not that violates the fifteenth amendment and the equal protection clause of the fourteenth amendment. So the argument, the plaintiffs in the case are arguing that the congressional map is unconstitutional unconstitutionally gerrymandered, based on race. And, during the hearing, justice Jackson, seemed to contend that black Americans or black American voters are equivalent to Americans with physical disabilities.
You don't believe me? How about I I play this here for you?
[01:06:54] Unknown:
Paradigmatic example of this is something like the ADA. Discriminatory in effect because these folks were not able to access these buildings. And it didn't matter whether the person who built the building or the person who owned the building intended for them to be exclusionary. That that's irrelevant. Congress said the facilities have to be made equally open to people with disabilities if readily possible. I guess I don't understand why that's not what's happening here. The idea in section two is that we are responding to current day manifestations of past and present decisions that disadvantage minorities and make it so that they don't have equal access to the voting, system.
Right? They're they're disabled. In fact, we use the word disable in Milligan. We say that's a way in which you see that these processes are not equally open.
[01:08:09] Unknown:
So Ketanji Brown Jackson literally, directly compares black people not electing their preferred candidates to disabled people not being able to enter buildings. She said they don't have equal access to the voting system. They're disabled. You heard it. You heard it for yourself. I did I I played it for you, and then I read what she said to you. You heard that. I don't know how this woman became a Supreme Court Justice. I I And don't forget, this is the same woman who said that she couldn't define what a woman is. How many of you remember that? Do you remember that? Yeah. I remember that.
She was asked directly, can you define what a woman is? And she said no. So then, lawyer Edward Grime or Graham responded to Jackson saying the difference is the remedy under the ADA and the other anti discrimination laws is not a stereotype. It's not race based. I take your point. I take your point. But and this is this is Ketanji Brown Jackson saying this. It's not race based. I take your point. I take your point, but but you're saying then that if the problem of no access is about race, it's it's just too bad because you can't have a remedy that relates to race. To which Grimes said, absolutely not, your honor. It's it's not whether it relates to race. It's whether the remedy that relates to race involves stereotyping voters and making assumptions about their politics and their views and their thoughts based on their race, and that's the problem. It doesn't exist in those other civil rights statutes.
But that's not all. But that's not all, my friends. That is not all. You also have this little exchange with, Justice Sotto Maier.
[01:10:26] Unknown:
To think that a racial group is being treated here too. You have proof of that here. No. You don't. What you have here is that Republicans and Democrats are different. There's no You have some that even white
[01:10:37] Unknown:
Republicans
[01:10:38] Unknown:
or white Democrats won't won't vote for black candidates. Right. But if these were white Democrats, there's no reason to think they would have a second district. None. And so what is happening here is their argument is because these Democrats happen to be black, they get a second district. If they were all white, we all agree they wouldn't get a second district. That is literally the definition of race subordinating traditional principles. Justice Kagan?
[01:11:05] Unknown:
Totally, totally pummeled her. See, everything with the Democrats has to do with race. Everything. It's all about race. And that is your idiots of the day. Alright. Let's, let's see what else we got. Let's see. So gateway pundit, Supreme Court justice Ketanji Brown Jackson compares black people to disabled people during arguments on race, based voting district districts. So this is, what what they say on gateway. Joe Biden's DEI Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is at it again. On Wednesday, The US Supreme Court heard all arguments on a Louisiana case over race based that's that would be today. Race based voting districts. President Trump's Department of Justice, through assistant attorney general for the civil rights division, Harmit Dhillon, and solicitor general John Sauer, told The US Supreme Court that race based congressional districts must end once and for all. The state of Louisiana versus Philip Calais, stems from Louisiana's woke lawmakers caving to left wing judges and creating a second majority minority congressional district.
Today at SCOTUS, the DOJ civil rights division told the justices that section two of the Voting Rights Act cannot constantly require race predominant redistricting. And so now here are the key takeaways of this whole thing. No more race first districts without proof. Plaintiffs plaintiffs must prove their proposed majority minority district is superior to the state's map under race neutral rules, including political goals. Otherwise, it's just assuming racism where none exists. Number two, decouple race from party. The brief slams how courts let Democrats hide behind polarized voting that really just that that's really just partisan divides. Plaintiffs must decouple party from race when determining whether majority and minority voters vote differently. It states, see, no more using black voters loyalty to Democrats as an excuse for gerrymandering.
Real evidence of discrimination is required. Echoing the Shelby County verse holder, which gutted outdated VRA, Voter Rights Act provisions in 2013. The DOJ says current conditions don't justify this nonsense. Voter turnout is sky high. Minorities minorities are winning elections everywhere, including in congress where black representation is at record levels. And then which we already played the audio for, she, liberal supreme court Jessica Tanya Brown Jackson brought up the Americans with Disabilities Act, compared black people not voting for their preferred candidate to disabled people not being able to enter a building. They don't have equal access to the voting system, they're disabled, she said. And we already played that video, audio.
Alright, so this is this is your Democratic party. Morons, their mental morons. I mean these are people who sit on the Supreme Court. Alright. Now something I I kind of alluded to it earlier, and I'm gonna try to get through some of this stuff here, before before the hour is up. So, you know, as you guys know, I am a member of the Texas Nationalist Movement, and, I am on paper right now, the deputy county coordinator from Maverick County, hence the flags behind me. When I originally started the show, I wanted to make sure I devoted some time, to to the show to the Texas Nationals movement and things that they are working on and standing for. And, again, because of the because of the guest schedule and such, we have not really been able to do that. So, tonight, I just wanted to take a minute here just to talk about a couple of quick things.
The the things that you see going on right now with the federal government. Federal representation is really very far from from us. Alright? And it it's it's not a tenable situation. It's not something that we can sustain much longer. The country is too big to be ruled by or governed, I should say. I mean, I know ruled is really the right answer, but governed. Shouldn't be it's too big to be governed by Washington DC. That's number one. And the reason I say that is because it it never fails. Whenever someone gets to Washington DC, all of a sudden their priorities, which should be for their state, their cons their constituency, their their their districts, all of a sudden changes. It it moves away from that, and they start to focus more on global things.
Alright. Well, you know what? You weren't sent to Congress to to to represent Israel. You weren't sent to Congress to represent, Hamas, and you weren't sent to Congress to represent anybody else except the constituents in your district. But yet, when we send folks to to to to Congress and they get to Washington DC, all of a sudden they're global. They're they're worried about the global circumstances. That has to stop. The way that stops the way that stops is organizations like the Texas Nationalist Movement, who are advocating a peaceful, legislative separation from these United States.
I know right now you're all freaking out. Oh my god. Secession, treason, traitor, sedition. Yeah. Okay. Right. Look. You know and I know that Washington DC does not have the best interest of your state, wherever it is that you're listening to. And I'm not just saying Texas. I advocated for Texas. Yes. But you know in your heart of hearts that Washington DC has no interest in your concerns. Washington DC has its own issues, its own concerns, and I say Washington, I don't mean the district itself. I'm talking about the government based in Washington DC, the federal monstrosity, the general government, if you will.
That's what our founders called it, the general government. Now look, the the idea of separating first of all, it's it's not through violence, it's not through aggression, it's not through it when I say the legislative process, I'm talking about electing people at the state level, and you can also say at the at the at the general government level, congress level, that are truly Texas first or California first or Louisiana first or New Hampshire first, whatever. Wherever your state is, when wherever you live, wherever you reside, wherever you hang your hat at night, putting people in positions like that, that will not only advocate for their home state, but also make sure that their home state comes first in all of their decision making.
Okay? Now I'm not saying, you know, you put Texas first above every other state. No. No. No. No. I'm putting Texas first above the interests of everybody else. Will this affect Texas? Will this affect the people who live in Texas? Will this affect the people who live in California? If you're in California, if wherever you are. You you get what I'm saying? I don't need to keep repeating that. So what the Texas Nationalist Movement does is Texas Nationalist Movement looks for candidates, people who are running for office that will are willing to sign that Texas First pledge. And through the legislative process, work through the system. And I'm not talking just about elect, I'm talking about grassroots, people on the ground, volunteers, the whole organization is volunteer, nobody gets paid to do what they're doing.
Alright? You have volunteers working on the ground, trying to get support, trying to get a ballot measure put out there that says, you know, Texas would like to assert its independence. And then having elected representatives who are Texas first, who are interested in Texas, sovereignty, that would be willing to support that ballot initiative, and willing to be willing to support legislation to get that put forward to a vote of the people of Texas or whatever state you live in. It doesn't have to just be Texas. That's what I mean when I say going through the legislative process.
Start to the ground. Talk to people. Get people to understand what sovereignty is, what state sovereignty is, what state independence is. Because don't forget folks, when this the where you live is your country. That's the way our founders looked at it. The word state indicates country. Your state is your home. Your state is your country. This country, this this this this union of states, this union of countries was formed originally just to for for for just a couple of basic very, very basic things. Common defense and mutual trade.
It's really it. It's really it. Our founding generation didn't want to have entangling alliances with anyone. They wanted to be independent, neutral, non interventionist, no alliances. But the federal government, the federal monstrosity, the the the this this federal system that's in place right now has bound all 50 states, 50 independent countries that form this union into all of these little alliances and treaties and packs and all that stuff and things that we don't need to be part of. Should we trade? Yes. We could trade. Why not? Isn't that what Thomas Jefferson said? Peace and commerce with all?
Entangling alliances with none? But the only way you're gonna get that is by asserting your sovereignty because the federal government has its own agenda. It has its own plan. It has its own operation. It has its own things that it's looking to do to expand itself. The solution is independence. Now next week, we're gonna have, we're gonna have two folks from the Texas Nationals Movement, who are gonna be on the show, and we're gonna talk about all these things. We're gonna lay all this stuff out in great detail, so I need you to check out that show when it comes out. I think it's the twenty second, if I'm not mistaken. The twentieth or twenty second. I'll let you I'll I'll double check that, and I'll let you know on Friday's show.
It's it'll be Nate Smith and Daphne Armour who'll be joining us on on that show. And, they're gonna talk about the things that they're working on. They're gonna talk about how, how they get people more active on the local level in campaigns, in elections. That's gonna be important. You should check it out. So we're gonna talk about that. We're gonna talk about what exactly the Texas Nationals Movement stands for. We're gonna talk about where we are as an organization. Yeah. Okay. Things look okay right now. Right? So people aren't talking about secession. People aren't talking about national divorce. Remember we had Jason Fryer in the show a couple of weeks ago, talked about his book, National Divorce, A Plan for Peace.
It's not a bad thing. Marjorie Taylor Greene talked about it, and she still talks about it from time to time. She still mentions it. You know, independence independence movements are not a bad thing. They're not a horrible thing. They're not treasonous or seditious or anything like that. It would be if it was through violence. It would be if it was through, military means. It it would be in those circumstances, of course, yes. But going through the legislative process, that's our rights. We have the right to abolish the government when it becomes oppressive and it comes tyrannical, which take a look at Washington.
Yeah. But Donald Trump's president, so things are better. For now. For now. And are things really that much better? I mean, yeah. Like I said earlier at the beginning of the show, yes. Border's great. Love it. I live in a border town. Hey. It's fantastic. I love it. Fantastic job. The brave men and women of ICE and the federal law enforcement, the national guard that are out there enforcing the existing laws of this country, the existing immigration laws and deporting people. Over 2,000,000 have been deported already. Needs to be more. Yes. I get it. I understand that. But over 2,000,000.
Yes. Some things are better. But wouldn't it be even better? Wouldn't it be even that much better if you didn't have the federal government breathing down your neck Income taxes. Regulation upon regulation upon regulation, forcing a cookie cutter approach to how they govern. You've heard me say this many times. Texas is not Minnesota. Minnesota is not New York. New York is not Georgia. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. So what's the solution? National divorce. Not a bad thing. Think of it like a relationship, like a marriage, you know?
One side or the other is abused consistently, and after each abuse, they come with a with a with a bouquet of flowers, some candies, some kind of gift or something. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. And then it happens again. And it happens again. And it happens again. After a while, you gotta say it's enough. After a while, you gotta walk away from it. And, unfortunately, I think that's where we are today. Look. I love my country. I love what America stands for. I do.
That spirit that is America is not Washington DC. It's not the federal government. It's not this union of states. It's freedom. It's liberty. Independence. Whatever word you wanna use. It's self reliance. Self government. When I say self government, I don't just mean, you know, we elect who we elect and, you know, we control who's in office. And I said, that's what I mean. I'm talking about self government. The more you govern yourself, the more you are responsible for yourself, the less you need of government. The less laws and and rules and regulations that you need. That's that's common sense. First of all, it's Bible, but it's also common sense.
What was that quote from James Madison? Oh, man. It it just flipped out of my head. But the gist of it was, you know, government is a necessary evil because men are evil. Paraphrased, I know, but that's basically it. So the Texas Nationals Movement offers a solution. It offers a national divorce. It offers the opportunity for a peaceful legislative sec separation from The US. Now you can there's plenty of places you can go to get information on this stuff. You know, I'm not gonna touch all of it. It's a lot of ground to cover, but you could basically let me do this.
You can go over to their website, which is gonna put a banner up here. Go to h t p oh, I don't have to read that part. The tandm.org, tandm.me. You can get more information there. The organization, it's a great organization. It's well organized. It's well put together. Their mission, their goal is Texas independence through the legislative process. Look, folks, again, if you're living here in Texas, Texas leaves you Texas leaves the union, immediately Texas becomes the eighth largest economy in the world. World.
The world. Texas has its own stock exchange. Texas is building its own currency reserve. Texas is a hub for crypto mining. Texas has all the natural resources that you could use, you would need. Texas isn't even part of the national power grid. Texas stands by itself. Texas has the warm water seaports that you need for trade. Texas has its own military. But what about the military bases, dude? Hey, look. First of all, the federal government leases those properties from the state of Texas. And second of all, the US military is spread out around the world, has military installations in foreign countries pretty much everywhere.
What makes you think there wouldn't be some kind of an agreement between The United States and the Republic Of Texas? I mean, it would be in their best interest to The United States. Right? Your closest neighbor. What about this and what about that? Hey. Look. You you're talking about stuff that would take place post Texit. You've heard that before, Texit? It's not a bad thing. It's not a bad thing to consider at all. So the Texas nationalist movement, I recommend you go check them out, tandm.org, tandm.me, and, check them out. Look at the look at the facts. The facts are are incredible. They were very were very, very well put together. And, you know, we'll we'll talk more about it when when, when, we have, Nate Smith and Daphne Armour on with us, next week.
We do really need to move on. Alright. Now, let's see. So something that's really in in that's been it it has my attention. I'm very interested in this stuff. I find it fascinating. You're all familiar with three I Atlas. Right? Three I Atlas, is a, it's it's it's, it it's a it's a well, some people say it's a comet or some people say it's a it's a it's a a rogue asteroid, and, it's here, and it's doing some pretty interesting things. So, basically, what is this thing? Where did it come from? What's going on with it? You know, why are we so fascinated by this whole thing? And, we're gonna break we're gonna break some of that down here right now. I'm gonna try to do it as quickly as I possibly can because I didn't realize I was gonna go ranting for as long as I did. So let's just bait let's just kick let's just kick this off with the basics. Alright?
Three I Atlas. Alright. It's it's it's, it's an interstellar object. Alright? And that basically means that so it's it's three is the third I interstellar. Alright? So it's the third interstellar object And, all that means is that it's coming from outside of our galaxy, outside outside of our solar system. And like I said, it's it's the third interstellar object to pass through this neck of the woods. Alright. Now if you remember, back in 02/2017, I think it was, 02/2016, 02/2017, we had Oumuamua. Remember that one? And then the second one was was Borisov, and that was in 2019. And now here comes three I Atlas. And three I Atlas was discovered in July 2025.
Now, right now, it's it's pretty far out still. It's about 670 kilometers away from the sun, which is beyond Mars's orbit. But it's already, you know, it's it's been showing some pretty strange and interesting behaviors. This thing really isn't just flying through space. Alright? It is it's, actively emitting gas, dust, it has a coma. Now if you don't know what a coma is, it's that is that, glowing cloud that's that surrounds a comet. And and it is it is kind of acting more like a comet than just a simple rock. Alright. So what do we know about three I Atlas so far?
Well, we still don't really know how exactly how big this thing is, but the estimates say that it could be anywhere between a few 100 meters to a to a few kilometers in diameter. Scientists are they're kinda still kinda working out the, the precise measurements on that whole thing. Now, the most interesting part is this, it's it's composition. Alright? It it's it's c o two rich. So yeah. That's carbon dioxide. C o two is carbon dioxide. And it and it's not really just a little bit either. It's it's it's it's got one of the highest c o two to h t o h two o, ratios ever observed in a comet. So so carbon dioxide and water.
Alright? And that's really not something that you usually expect in a comet. Now normally, we think of comets having just lots of water, but this one's quite different. Alright. And, the James Webb Telescope shows that it is also releasing water and carbon monoxide along with traces of sulfur compounds and other stuff. So that so so this thing is basically, kinda like a cocktail of of really weird space chemistry. Alright. Let's now let's just really quickly talk about the path of three I Atlas. Right now, if you now just try to picture this thing in your head. Just, you know, casually zipping its way through space and, you know, but that's not the case.
But that's not the case. Alright? You need to you need to understand that. This thing is on a hyperbolic trajectory, which basically means that it's coming in too fast for, for, too fast to be pulled by the sun's gravity. Alright. So this thing is is passing through, and then when it's done, it's gonna leave our solar system. And, who knows if it's gonna come back or not? Who knows? Its speed is relative to the sun. Its speed relative to the sun is, 58 kilometers per second, and its orbital eccentricity is about 6.1. So that's a it's kind of a curve. It's a very steep curve way outside the boundaries of of typical comets or asteroids that we've seen in our solar system.
Alright. It's also, been noted that it's coming from the constellation Sagittarius. So not only is it visiting us, but it's coming from a part of the galaxy associated with the the center of the Milky Way. Alright. So that's I think that's pretty interesting. That's that's fascinating. Alright. So that's of course, if you believe it's space. Yeah. I know. I said it. I said it. I said it. Alright. So so so far we've got, a mysterious far traveling object. It's acting like a comet, but not really acting like a comet. And, so we got the idea of how fast it's moving, and and where it's coming from and and so far and so forth. But now here here's where it gets interesting.
I think what's really kind of twisting everybody right now is is how active three I Atlas is, especially considering it's so far from the sun. Now normally, we would expect comets, to be inactive this far out, but this one is is is spraying water like a fire hose. Alright. And and what is it? It's like three AUs, which is astronomical units. So this is a unit measurement. Three astronomical units from the sun, where the where the solar heating is the weakest. Alright. It's also emitting, o h radicals, which is, hydroxyl, which is a molecule that's made up of hydro of oxygen hydrogen, which is, which is a key, I guess, sign that it's releasing water vapor.
That's all it means. And that's happening at a rate about 40 kilograms per second. And that's a that's a that's a that's a fairly big amount of material, and it's surprising considering just really how far out this object is. Alright. So now now the key takeaway of this is the object is more active than science expected. In fact, it's much more active. It's it's almost as if it's been recharging itself, and now it's starting to show its true colors. Alright. Now, with an object like three I atlas, of course, you know, people have jumped to some more of the way out there conclusions.
And, of course, as always, we've seen a few conspiracy theories pop up, with people that, you know, they they speculate this could be more than just a cosmic wanderer. So we're gonna talk about that here in a second. Personally speaking, I I think that this thing is just an asteroid. I don't think there's anything too special about this. I just think it's I'm one of those people that believe it's rogue asteroid just kinda, you know, spit its way through here. I think it's been around before. I don't think this is a one time thing. I think it's come around before because, you know, you have the ancient Aztecs and the and the the Mayan calendars, and artwork that, they've displayed with something very similar in in shape and size, that that that had appeared in the night sky for them thousands of years ago, so this is very possible that things just be on a circuit. It's coming around. Alright?
But, one of the more provocative voices in this whole thing is a guy by the name of Avi Loeb. Now Avi Loeb is he's a Harvard astrophysicist, and he he gained a lot of attention for his take on Oumuamua. Now Loeb thinks that three I Atlas might not be a comet at all, but might be an alien probe. Alright? An alien probe. A lobe suggests that the unusual properties of this object, you know, the, the the odd trajectory, the out the outgassing, the unexpected composition, indicates that this is not a natural body. And even goes on as far as to say that it could be alien made spacecraft or probe sent to explore our solar system. Now, a lot of scientists dismiss this as speculative.
And frankly, there's really no honestly, there's really no concrete evidence to support it, but Loeb's theory really has stirred up the pot on this one, and and it's something that that we're gonna continue to hear about, as this thing gets closer and closer and closer. Alright? So, so and speaking of getting closer, what's next for three I Atlas? So, so, three I Atlas is expected to be its closest point to the sun around October 29. So that's coming up, not far away. It's gonna start heating up even more, releasing even more gas, more dust, and, you you know that they could be watching this thing very closely because this is when we're gonna learn the most about its about its real nature, about what it really is. After that, it's gonna continue its journey around the solar system, and eventually, they say they think disappearing out into the void. Now I don't necessarily agree with that. I think it's I think it's again, I think it's a circuit this thing follows. Alright? If this it's been here before, I think it's gonna be here again.
But of course, you know that all of these telescopes, all these observatories, all all around the world in space can be tracking every single move of this thing, and justifiably so. I mean, I mean, it's kind of fun to think that, you know, when maybe there's alien life, maybe they are coming to check us out, maybe this is a prelude to first contact. And of course, you hear all of these other speculations that, hey, there's a mother ship with a bunch of alien with with a bunch of, smaller, UFOs, you know, tagging along with it on on the on the far side of the moon, and they're on their way, you know, first contact.
Yeah. You never know. You never know. You know, it would be interesting to see. But honestly, my my like I said, my honest opinion is this thing is just a is is just an asteroid, a rogue asteroid has been floating around on its way, you know, making its circuit around through the galaxy, through the through the solar system, and it's here now. You know? But we'll see. Alright? It'll be closest to the Earth sometime in November, and, I'll have more on that at a later time. But, getting really interesting, you know. I like watching those little TikTok videos and those, those reels on on Instagram, you know, these folks, they put some great pro great content together. I gotta learn how to do that.
But, but that's all I got. That's that's all I got. So three I Atlas, what is it? It's a interstellar visitor with an active, volatile, even possible alien like nature. And I guess we'll learn more about that, and whatever secrets and challenge of understanding of space and time it brings. Alright. Alright. Alright, folks. I think, that's gonna pretty pretty much wrap it up for us for today. Don't forget, folks, head over to the website joeroos.com joeroos.com, and, open up the web form. Send us a message. So it was a lot of fun. Enjoyed it. It was different for us, kinda at a practice of it. I was better at it, you know, when we were doing it on a daily basis, but we'll get we'll get there. We'll get there. Maybe, I do definitely I will acknowledge that I do need to do more prep time. And it's hard because I work a forty hour week, you know, day job, and then I come and do this. So I only have, like, maybe an hour out of the day, my lunch hour to do the show prep. So, we'll work on that. Maybe if we get a sponsor that can, alleviate the need to be at the regular job every day.
That's a stretch, I know. But you never know. Lord works in mysterious ways, and maybe so our alien friends do too. We never know. That's the point. Alright, folks. Don't forget. Check us out on, all the socials, Twix at Joe Ruse, truth social, Joe Ruse Minds, Joe Ruse Facebook, the Joe Ruse show. Instagram, not Joe Ruse TikTok, joe.ruse. Get her at Joe Ruse.
