Maybe it was, the divine power is trying to tell me to shut the hell up for today and not do another show. But, what? No. I'm here anyway. The acting IRS commissioner resigning after agency reaches data sharing deal with immigration authorities. Well, all I can say is we need more of the folks at the IRS gone. So hopefully, this is, I think I think this is the third one, the third commissioner of the IRS that's leaving. We're just waiting for the rest of them to leave. And wouldn't that be nice not to have any income tax whatsoever?
I think that would be an amazing thing. And I know the president has mentioned that on the campaign trail that that was something that he was considering, and he was looking at doing. So, let's, like, come on. Let's go. Let's get the ball rolling here. We we endured four years of torture. It's time to enjoy the freedom. So please, let's get let's get working on this. But the story is acting Internal Revenue Service Commissioner, Melanie Krause, informed her staff Tuesday that she is leaving, Tuesday being yesterday, that she is leaving the agency amid internal chaos and the exodus of several senior IRS officials according to two IRS employees and one former IRS employees employee.
Yeah. One is singular. So the, so Cross's decision to accept the agency's deferred resignation offer comes on the heels of the IRS and Department of Homeland Security, finalizing an agreement on Monday to provide sensitive taxpayer data to federal immigration authorities to help the Trump administration locate and deport undocumented undocumented immigrants. Okay. So, I don't think I don't see where the problem with that is, you know? Wasn't the Democrats who always said that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. Right? So, it's interesting too that, you know, all of these, commissioners are are bowing out. Nobody wants to be involved with these this administration, and that's a good thing. We want them gone. We don't need them around.
So, I say, adios. I say goodbye. Get lost. And again, waiting for the IRS itself to be gone goodbye and gotten rid of. You know, we've talked about this a few times. You know, the IRS is again, first of all, taxation, I think, is is theft period. Okay? And I know there are memes that run around that that you've seen all over the place, you know, about that stuff, but taxation is theft. But why is it theft? Well, because it's being forcibly taken from you at the point of a gun, basically. You know, the the, the the gun of the federal government, forcibly taken out of your paycheck and funneled into places and organizations and things that, as we're seeing more and more, Doge pulling out and and demonstrating to us, things that you wouldn't normally support.
So taxation again, it's theft. It's immoral. Just like the, the fraudulent passing of the sixteenth amendment, which established the federal income tax, which was never something that our founding generation ever considered. So and and why is it fraud why why is it not a proper it's not a properly ratified amendment. You need the 38 at the time, you need 38 states to ratify it. Only 35 states did, but yet somehow, someway, through some underhanded dealings, it got pushed right through and, became the law of the land. And, so now we're just hoping that, the administration follows through on this promise, and I have no doubt that they will, because so far they follow through on every promise that they've made.
Promises made, promises kept, and, I'm looking forward to the day that the IRS officially closes its doors altogether and cuts off this supply of your money, my money, to all of these ridiculous agencies and and programs and wasteful fraud projects that that that that that politicians load themselves up. And now we're gonna talk a little more about that kind of stuff in a little bit because, you know, as elected officials make about a hundred and $74,000 a year, you know, in congress and the senate, maybe a little bit more in the senate, I think. And, yet somehow, someway, they become multimillionaires. And, we know what we'll talk about that in just a little bit. I don't wanna I don't wanna jump the shark, if you know what I mean.
Alright. So let's see. Now, of course, you know, this go all goes in line with, you know, the things that are going on with the economy, China. You know, April 2, Donald Trump declared Liberation Day, and that's the day that, he applied reciprocal tax tariffs on, on countries, that that were holding tariffs over us. And so and, and look, there are a 90 countries in the world there, and and a 75 of them a a 75 of them tariff The United States. So, obviously, tariffs work for something. Right? Now, The United States in most cases is was heavily limited as to how much of a tariff, they would they would apply. Most cases, barely 2%.
While places like, China, or actually, let's go to Canada, kinda right over here, Canada Three Hundred Percent tariff on American dairy products. But yet, you know, by us responding with reciprocal taxes, all of a sudden, we're evil and we're horrible, and how can we do that? And, you know, it the American people and the and and and The United States as a whole have been have been taken advantage of and abused by the world for too long, and it's now time. And we finally have an administration in place, again, that is, is not gonna play the game. That's gonna seek to level the playing field, and that's exactly what we're doing here. Now, of course, today, China, responded to the, reciprocal tariff, by by slapping an 84% retaliatory tariff on US goods in direct response in direct response to what, this administration has done.
This is, from Gateway Pundit. Communist China has retaliated against president Donald Trump's latest round of America First tariffs by imposing a staggering 84% levy on US imports up from 34%. Alright. So they were already charging us 34%. And if you remember, I played a I played a video, a couple days ago of Nancy Pelosi, believe it or not, of all people, back in 1996, talking about how, you know, these, these these tariffs, you know, allow China to, develop, a million jobs, but barely a hundred thousand jobs or a 70,000 jobs here in The United States because of the cost of doing business.
So how is that fair? How is that equal trade? How is that, you you so is that that's America being taken advantage of. So the Trump administration has has, imposed reciprocal taxes making it all even. Because what does reciprocal mean? Reciprocal means if you do it to me, I will do it to you. Okay? Very simple. Even for the liberals to understand, it's very very simple. So, so, so the now that China has levied this 84% levy, 84% tariff on The United States, The Trump administration is, is is responding with an increased tariff.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social today, based on the lack of respect that that China has shown to the world's markets, I am hereby raising the tariff charged to China by The United States, you're ready for to a 25% effective immediately. At some point, hopefully, in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off The US and other countries is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 countries have called representatives of The United States, including Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and USTR, to negotiate a solution based, negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to trade, trade barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation, non monetary tariffs, And these countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliate in any way, shape, or form against The United States. I have authorized a ninety day pause and a substantially lowered reciprocal tariff during this period of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Love how he ends it. Very business. Thank you for your attention to this matter. So this is a huge response. Huge response on behalf of our administer. A 25%. That's huge. I've heard I've heard recommendations to go up over 400%, which wouldn't be bad either. So, here's Scott Bennett, the, treasury, secretary speaking on, Fox News, today.

Maria, I think it's unfortunate, that the Chinese actually don't want to come and negotiate because they are the worst offenders in the international trading system. They have the most imbalanced economy in the history of the modern world, and, you know, I can tell you that this escalation is a loser for them, that they they have some very smart the economist, the academicians, technocrats within their bureaucracy, and they would be telling the leadership that we do not have the edge here. They are the surplus country that their exports to The US are five times our exports to China. So, you know, they can raise their tariffs, but so what?

It is dealing with record youth unemployment, slowing growth, an aging population, and plus they have the ridiculous restriction on, one child per household. So population's gonna start declining as they're getting older. So they're really not in any position right now to to to, to get into, one of these, tit for tats. And and the simple fact that they reacted the way they did, that quick knee jerk reaction, basically, you know, tells me at least that there's panic going on.
I think that the the I I think that, the Chinese communists, the communist party in China, they they they know that Trump's policy, you know, reshoring manufacturing jobs, securing supply chains, penalizing unfair trade are actually working. They're actually working. I I read, a comments, I forgot where it was, but, president Trump said that that that we're taking in over 2,000,000,000 a day now in tariffs. $2,000,000,000 a day. That's folks, that's huge. You cannot deny that that's huge. And, of course, the stock markets are reacting to it. As as we talked about on Monday, we said that, yeah, there might be some periods of time where it's gonna be volatile. There's gonna be some fluctuations in it. Look, I'm not an economist. This is just, you know, my observations as everyday guy just looking at things. You know, there are gonna be fluctuations to it, but the market will correct itself.
And when the market correct itself, folks, watch out, man. The American economy is gonna come back roaring, and that's gonna be a great thing. That's gonna be a great thing, and I'm excited for that. I'm happy for that. We wanna see that. You know, yes, I am in favor of Texas independence. Yes, I do wanna see Texas leave The United States and stand alone among the nations. Absolutely. A %. But as long as we're part of The United States, I wanna see The United States succeed. I wanna see The United The United States, do well economically.
Doesn't change the fact that we that we're gonna leave. Doesn't change the fact at all. But while we're here, we wanna be able to to to live, we wanna be able to pay our bills, we wanna be able to do all the things that we need to do on a daily basis, and the only way we're gonna do that is to support the government as it is, right now. So they can have it. Alright. Rant over. Let's see what else we got here. Covered that, covered that. And and just and just to really go kinda go back to what we were talking about with, with, you know, the economy really doing well.
You know, whether you whether you love Donald Trump or not, you have got to admit that this man has what it takes to lead the country. I I, you know, again, whether you love I personally, I have a lot of respect for Donald Trump, you know. I, I I support him. I don't agree with him on everything. I I I don't. And and and that's that's not a bad thing. You know, you don't wanna be a mindless zombie just following, you know, following a leader. You wanna have some deferring opinions. That's important. You need to do that. But, but, you know, it's it's when you look at the overall performance of what he's doing in this in this second administration of his, you you you cannot deny that this man has what it takes to to be the strong leader that this country needs in this globalist, this this globalist leftist world.
And you know that one of the things that that really makes me laugh is understanding that or that that news outlets like MSNBC, not that they really do it very often, but CNN, who is who notoriously has it out for Donald Trump. I think there was this concern among some folks that Donald Trump would come in for a second term and kinda be a lame duck. He ain't no lame duck. If anything, he's a soaring eagle. What am I talking about here? Let's talk about Trump executive orders in 2019. The CNN. Have signed a 11 so far. That is the most at this point in a presidency in at least a hundred years. In fact, it's the most in any single year, and we're only in April since Harry s Truman in the early nineteen fifties. The bottom line is whether you like Trump or you don't like him, you can't say that he's comment and not try to deliver on what he at least believes was his promises on the campaign trail, and he's doing so in historic fashion.
How are people reacting to and feel about Trump's approach? Yeah. Okay. So Trump's approach here, what are we talking about? Trump's approach to presidential power. I think the American people recognize what he's doing here is completely different. We're talking get this. 86% of the American public believes that Trump's approach to presidential power is completely different from past presidents compared to only 14% who believe it is in line with president, and we're talking about at least 79% of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans. So, again, you can agree or you can disagree with Donald Trump, but what you can't disagree with is that he's doing things very differently. I have used the Frank Sinatra quote before. He is doing it, quote unquote, my way, and that is what Donald Trump has done throughout both of his presidential terms, and he's certainly doing that, Kate Baldwin, in term number two. So Now the interesting thing is if you're watching that clip carefully, and you're watching Kate Baldwin's face,

obviously, not liking this whatsoever. Obviously not happy about this whatsoever. But, you know, but the truth of the matter is, you cannot deny the the effect, you know, the the Trump effect. You can't deny it. Even the legacy media, even the legacy media has to acknowledge it, and they're starting to figure that out. Now of course whether whether everything in the Trump administration succeeds, whether it whether whether, you know, things fail, I think you could Yeah. I think you can honestly say that Donald Trump is on a path, and he will not stray from it.
I think he is he is is extremely determined. Extremely determined. I like what, Red State puts here. They say the fact is that said, the fact is Trump to the return of MAGA. I love that. That's great. Has been much more aggressive, much more focused, and showed not only disregard for the left and especially congressional Democrats, but at times, he has shown outright contempt. It's as though he took that infamous moment when Barack Obama looked at a group of congressional Republicans after his inauguration and said, I won. The only difference is that president that the president has scaled that attitude up to Trumpian proportions. If any Democrats choose to get on board with Trump agenda, he would welcome them, but otherwise, he's gonna run them over like a steamroller.
Now, of course, you know, we're we're looking at the midterms. The midterms are coming up. And, of course, you know, you you you there are, you know, concerns that the Democrats gonna try to steal house seats. There was a concern about that with this, recent Supreme Court election, over in, Wisconsin that they were gonna try to redistrict. I don't I don't I mean, it's a possibility at some point. I don't necessarily see that happening, but the midterms are coming up. And I think the pace that he's on right now, I think I think the president understands the midterms are coming up, and anything can happen. You know? Anything can happen. So he's working hard now to get his agenda put in place, get the people he needs put in place, get the policy he needs put in place, because, you know, Al Green has already said that within the next thirty days, he's he's filing articles of impeachment again.
You know, this is a regular occurrence for the left, you know, they they they stomp their feet, they hold their breath, they they they scream and cry like children because that's exactly what they are, because they have no principle, they have no value of of what America really is, and, so, you know, their their their philosophies, they, you know, they're gonna stomp their feet, suck their thumb, scream, cry, yell, bellyache, all that stuff until they get what they want. I think this administration knows that, and I think that's what he's looking at as far as the midterms go. He wants I think he's looking to get as much of his of his policy as much of his, agenda put through, before those midterms take place so that there isn't any real, concern as far as, you know, the the the deadlock that could take place should the Democrats I don't know how they would. It just seems like it just seems like the Democrats are as as a whole, as a party, have such a poor, image in the, in the eyes of the American people right now. I think they're pulling it, like like like, 20 something percent, 24%, favorability.
I don't I don't think there's a chance that they're gonna overtake the the house or the senate, but look, you never like I said, you never know. The the only way Democrats win elections is by stealing them, and that's the truth, and you know that's the truth. That's what happened in in in 2020. That's from what I'm hearing, that's what happened up in Wisconsin with this, the Supreme Court election. They're at the polling places again. They were putting up the boards, blocking the windows, not letting people watch, the counting process, and and so on and so forth. So there's some question there, and I'm just throwing it out there. I'm I'm not going any further than that. I don't know the official positions and stories yet. I haven't really seen too much about it, but I've seen and heard a few things, from some reliable sources and, you know, so we gotta keep, you know, we'll we'll keep an eye on that. I'll let you know what whatever it is that I hear. But, you know, we gotta keep that in mind that, you know, there's there's a possibility. You know, the the midterms come up, and then we'll look we'll be looking at two years of success, and then if the if the Republicans lose control in the midterms, then you're looking at two years of, roadblocks. You're looking at two years of hearings and impeachments and and all that stuff.
So even though they they scream and cry about, you know, impeaching is not the right thing to do, it's the wrong way to go, so on and so forth, you know, but they do it. They do it more than Republicans do. So far more, and you know that. I don't have to tell you that, you're smart. I probably have the best audience there is. You know, I I I do. So, Wednesday morning, Donald Trump issued a series of posts on his truth social platform, basically, touting and and, you know, bragging about his, and pushing his economic policies of tariffs, which, you know, like we said, you know, looking to, to boost the domestic economy, bring back jobs, and and so on and so forth. He's also pushed for extra tax cuts on American citizens, which would, of course, would allow for, you know, increased take home pay.
And, again, still waiting for the abolishment of the the, federal income tax. Because the more money you bring home, the more money you have to take care of your family and take care of the needs that you feel is important, not what some politician thinks. Because even though they're your representatives, they don't really represent you. They represent the people that, give them more money. So you know how that works. Alright? So from stating how this is from Infowars. From stating how the current lower cost of entering the stock market or purchasing more stock means it's a good time to buy, and not freak out, to outright telling Americans to be cool. The president is reassuring those who are upset by stock prices going down in response to his recent tariffs.

So the president also said that it's imperative for Republicans to pass the tax cuts, going on to mention how decreased taxation of the American people will make the economy boom, which is absolutely true. He spoke to, company heads where he said this is, you know, a great time to move your company here. And, you know, you also have to consider and it's important to consider, you know, advancements in AI and robotics, which are taking place globally, you know, cheap Chinese factories. We are absolutely on the right track, and this is not a time for us to be bellyaching, not time for us to be concerned and and worried and and and, you know, basically pulling the hair out of your head, you know, whatever you have left. As you can see, obviously, some redactions. So, folks, we knew that this was a cover up. We knew that the FBI was sitting on this. We knew that back then, we know it now it's confirmed for us. And we also know that if if, if the public was made aware of this, 17% of people who voted for Joe Biden would have not voted for Joe Biden knowing information like this about the laptop. So, currently, the FBI has no statement on the matter, but it wouldn't surprise me if the new FBI director, Kash Patel, launched some sort of investigation into it, and rightfully so. We've got a government agency that's sworn to protect the rights of innocent people, essentially saying that they'll treat Hunter Biden with kid gloves because of his father, plain and simple.

So for all we know, they they may have this thing that close to being wrapped up, but we're not gonna find out about that until the appropriate time.

How do they get $20,000,000 if they're earning $200,000 a year? Nobody can explain that. And it it The reason they have this kind of money is because they funnel money from your taxes through these organizations like USAID, which thank God is just about done. They funnel money through of your taxes through organizations like USAID, which then funnel them out to NGOs, which are staffed and run by people that are close to the elected politician that got the funding in the first place to go from USAID to the NGO, and the NGO sends it back to the politician. And it I think it is improper and it is wrong for the administration to be doing what they're doing with this. So we'll keep an eye on this too, we'll see how this progresses, but, this this is fundamentally wrong. If you're gonna protect one group, you gotta protect all groups. Our buddy over there in The Ukraine, and I use the word buddy sarcastically. Our buddy over there in The Ukraine says that they captured Chinese people fighting for Russia. Ukraine themselves operates a foreign legion, allowing mercenaries from around the world to fight for Kyiv. The United States had soldiers on the ground in the country directly fighting Russia as well. In October, it was reported that North Korean troops were sent to fight for Russia in Ukraine and that South Korea was was, mulling sending military personnel to Ukraine in response. See how this how this works?
This is how you get another world war. On Tuesday, Ukrainian dictator, exactly correct, He's a dictator. He canceled elections so that he could stay in power because he knew that if they held elections, he would be voted out. So he canceled elections and is now the Ukrainian dictator. Ukrainian dictator, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that Kyiv has captured two Chinese nationalists who were fighting with the Russian military. Interestingly, the Ukrainian Nash, International Legion accepts individuals from around the world to fight with the Ukrainian military. Zelensky says, this definitely this definitely requires a response.
He's stoking the fire of international conflict. Commander.

And you'll see what I'm talking about. So, Vladimir Zelensky said, our military has captured two Chinese citizens who were fighting as part of the Russian army. This happened on Ukrainian territory In the Donetsk region, identification documents, bank cards, and personal data were found on their possession. We have information suggesting that there are many more Chinese citizens in the occupiers units than just these two. We are currently verifying all the facts, intelligence, security service of Ukraine, and the relevant units of the armed forces are working on it. Instructed, minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine to immediately contact Beijing and clarify how China intends to respond to this. Russia's involvement of China, along with other countries, whether directly or indirectly in this war in Europe, is clear signal that Putin intends to do anything but end the war. He's looking for ways to continue fighting. This is definitely this definitely requires a response, a response from The United States, Europe, and those around the world who want peace. Captured Chinese citizens are now in the custody of the security service in Ukraine. Relevant investigative and operational actions are being taken are ongoing.
Okay. So, couple things. So you see how he says a response from The United States and Europe and all those around the world who want peace. Right? But you see, that's not what Zelensky wants. He wants The United States to get involved. He wants Europe to get involved because he wants to prolong this war. He wants to continue this war, which will eventually plunge us into a nuclear confrontation. That's my opinion. That's my assessment of the whole thing. Escalating this whole mess that we really have no business being a part of. I am getting sick and tired of being the policeman for the world.
I do not wanna see American boots on the ground. I did not wanna see American blood spilled on behalf of Ukraine. If I'm wrong, let me be wrong, but my opinion. And I think it's slightly hypocritical that he'd be complaining about foreign soldiers fighting on behalf of Russia when he himself has foreign soldiers fighting on behalf of Ukraine. I don't I haven't seen anything in the news. I haven't seen anything, posted anywhere, social media anywhere, whereas Zelensky is telling foreign soldiers, foreign military personnel to not come to Ukraine. I haven't seen that anywhere. Have you? No.
Interesting, though. Very interesting. So you remember, a few days ago, Cory Booker, the, the, senator from, New Jersey went out there and, and and gave this grandstanding twenty five hour speech on the floor of, the senate for really nothing, filibustered for twenty five hours. He had to be had to be wearing a diaper, right? Because he was on the floor for twenty five hours straight, talking. How did he go to the bathroom? He didn't stop for that, then it would stop the filibuster. He had to been wearing a diaper. So, you know, but anyway, so, so Cory Booker may have been, according to town hall, celebrated by his Democratic colleagues and allies in the mainstream media for his twenty five hour speech last week, but it looks like that speech could have gotten him in trouble.
Uh-huh. The nonpartisan ethics watchdog group has now written to the senate ethics committee as a result of the senators sending out campaign messages about the speech. How great is that? Let's take a look. Here's one of them right here. I'm setting I'm heading to the Senate floor because Donald Trump and Elon Musk have shown a complete disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the needs of the American people. You can tune in on C SPAN, YouTube and X, and Facebook. Some of the contents were some of the comments were great. Cory, the Democrat party trampled the rule of law the past four years.
Go pound San Spartacus. Love it. I remember this, of course, and I I remember saying this actually. The filibuster's been abused to stop reform, supported by the basketball driving Americans, so on and so forth. Cory Booker talking about that. But, yeah. He might be he might be in some trouble. One particular note where the message was sent out on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning with the emphasis original to Arnold, the message with the subject line, we must speak up. And and the and the message read like this, I may be tired and I'm still a little hoarse, but as I've said again and again, this this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent. We must speak up. If you were inspired by what you saw today split a contribution between Cory Booker and the DNC.
Well, that that's that sounds like he was using it for a campaign to get donations. No? Sure does to me. The letter continued by calling Booker and his actions out specifically and the problems that could be for the Senate as a whole. In essence, by employing this tactic, Senator Booker indicates to potential contributors that his official actions could be influenced by campaign contributions. So let's see. Hopefully, something comes of this. I'd love to see that and maybe an investigation by the DOJ. Maybe attorney general Pam Bondi instead of making get another appearance on Fox News would take a look at this. That'd be very much appreciated, I think.
And, let's see. Let's we're gonna wrap we're gonna wrap this up. I got a couple more pieces here I wanted to get to because you just can't have a show. Well, we got well, you know what? We actually haven't talked about anything Texas related in a while. So let me let me pull this up really quick. Alright? So we got Texas AG, attorney general cat Ken Paxton, announces that he's going to primary challenge senator John Cornyn. So Texas attorney general Ken Paxton announced a primary challenge against Lone Star State's longtime senator John Cornyn in, what might shape up to be an ugly battle.
I'm announcing that I'm running for US Senate against John Cornyn, who apparently is running again for the fifth term, which would put him there three decades. It's definitely time for a change in Texas. It's what Paxton told Fox News host Laura Ingram in our program. We have another great US senator Ted Cruz, and it's time we have another great senator that will actually stand up and fight for Republican values, fight for the values of people of Texas, and support Trump, Donald Trump, in the areas that he is focused on very significant way. And, so Cornyn, of of course responded to this, or at least his his, his temp his campaign team responded to this. And, this is what they had to say.
During his first term, John Cornyn voted with president Trump more than 95% of the current senators, securing the votes for his biggest accomplishments as as his whip. Democrats are trying to destroy president Trump, and and he and Texas need a battle tested conservative who knows how to protect his agenda in in the senate and won't be outsmarted by Chuck Schumer. Ken Paxton is a fraud. He talks tough on crime, then it lets crooked progressive Linda Hidalgo off the hook. He says he's he says his impeachment trial was a sham, but it did not contest the facts and legal filings, which will cost the state millions. He says he's anti woke, but he funnels millions of taxpayer dollars to lawyers who celebrate DEI.
And Ken claims to be a man of faith, but uses fake Uber accounts to meet his girlfriend and deceive his family. This will be a spirited campaign, and we assure Texans they will have a real choice when this rain, when this race is over. So, already starting. Already starting. So can you imagine what this is going to end up being in the long run? Ken Paxton, just so you know, he was impeached by the, Texas House of Representatives in 02/2023 on, corruption charges. He was, he was acquitted by the Texas State Senate. And then the following year, he reached a deal that included $300,000 payment in restitution to avoid a securities fraud trial stemming from a 02/2015 indictment, on three felony charges.
Alright. But there was at least one poll from Texas upon Texas public opinion opinion research that gives Paxton a 10 a 10 double digit edge over Cornyn, you know, for the time being. And, let's take a look at that. Let's pull that baby up right there. So, Brad Johnson posted this on x. A new poll from Texas PO TX PO Research on the Texas Senate two thousand twenty six shows. Primary, Republicans only. John Cornyn has 27%. Ken Paxton, thirty eight %. Colin Allred is at 7%, with 33 with no opinion or never heard of. So, I think Colin Allred should drop out right now.
Don't really I'd something about him, Colin Allred, when when he was running for, trying to unseat Ted Cruz just came across as so extremely fake. So extremely fake. So, this is for sure gonna be a very interesting campaign, and, I'm kinda curious as to how it's gonna turn out. I I particularly am a fan of Ken Paxton. I I think that he's done a a fantastic job here in Texas, for the time that I've been living here while he was the a while he's been the a g. I think he's done a great job. I think a lot of a lot of these stories about him are are definitely, blown up way more than than than what they're being made out to be. But, you know, anything's possible. Anything is possible.
Alright. And then, last but not least, how could you, how could you not close out your Texas news section without the Texas racist and chief Jasmine Crockett? So, Jasmine Crockett, went on a completely racist rant trying to justify illegal immigration. Now remember, Jasmine Crockett is a privately educated Democrat congressional representative, and while speaking at a church, Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut? Why would you be in Connecticut? Doesn't exactly make sense to me, but while speaking at Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut, Crockett took her racism to the next level.

She's basically saying that illegal immigration is a good thing for this country, and we should continue to allow illegal immigration in this country so that we can have slavery two point o. First of all, the illegals that Trump is being no. For well, first of all, before I even get to that, first of all, we are not deporting immigrants. Okay. If you are here legally as an as an immigrant, if you immigrated here legally, and you became a citizen here even though you may be an immigrant coming to the country, not native born, you're an immigrant, but you're here legally, you are not going to be deported.
I am not an attorney. This lunatic is. She doesn't know that. Either either she doesn't know that, or she's being incredibly disingenuous. The Trump administration is deporting not the ones that are quote, unquote picking cotton, as she says. The illegal immigrants that are being deported are the rapists, the gang bangers, the murderers, the ones that are stealing, torturing, trafficking drugs, and people, and guns. That's who's being deported. And if you wanna put together an argument for illegal immigration, I don't think this is the one you wanna put out.
I don't think this is the right direction to go. I don't think this is the right strategy to take if you wanna fight for illegal immigration. Let me show you this. The the I don't know if you remember this one, but earlier this year, she, went on this unhinged, I mean, absolutely unhinged racist rant during a house oversight committee meeting about dismantling the DEI act. And, the and this is this is what she had to say about that.

The acting IRS commissioner resigning after agency reaches data sharing deal with immigration authorities. Well, all I can say is we need more of the folks at the IRS gone. So hopefully, this is, I think I think this is the third one, the third commissioner of the IRS that's leaving. We're just waiting for the rest of them to leave. And wouldn't that be nice not to have any income tax whatsoever?
I think that would be an amazing thing. And I know the president has mentioned that on the campaign trail that that was something that he was considering, and he was looking at doing. So, let's, like, come on. Let's go. Let's get the ball rolling here. We we endured four years of torture. It's time to enjoy the freedom. So please, let's get let's get working on this. But the story is acting Internal Revenue Service Commissioner, Melanie Krause, informed her staff Tuesday that she is leaving, Tuesday being yesterday, that she is leaving the agency amid internal chaos and the exodus of several senior IRS officials according to two IRS employees and one former IRS employees employee.
Yeah. One is singular. So the, so Cross's decision to accept the agency's deferred resignation offer comes on the heels of the IRS and Department of Homeland Security, finalizing an agreement on Monday to provide sensitive taxpayer data to federal immigration authorities to help the Trump administration locate and deport undocumented undocumented immigrants. Okay. So, I don't think I don't see where the problem with that is, you know? Wasn't the Democrats who always said that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. Right? So, it's interesting too that, you know, all of these, commissioners are are bowing out. Nobody wants to be involved with these this administration, and that's a good thing. We want them gone. We don't need them around.
So, I say, adios. I say goodbye. Get lost. And again, waiting for the IRS itself to be gone goodbye and gotten rid of. You know, we've talked about this a few times. You know, the IRS is again, first of all, taxation, I think, is is theft period. Okay? And I know there are memes that run around that that you've seen all over the place, you know, about that stuff, but taxation is theft. But why is it theft? Well, because it's being forcibly taken from you at the point of a gun, basically. You know, the the, the the gun of the federal government, forcibly taken out of your paycheck and funneled into places and organizations and things that, as we're seeing more and more, Doge pulling out and and demonstrating to us, things that you wouldn't normally support.
So taxation again, it's theft. It's immoral. Just like the, the fraudulent passing of the sixteenth amendment, which established the federal income tax, which was never something that our founding generation ever considered. So and and why is it fraud why why is it not a proper it's not a properly ratified amendment. You need the 38 at the time, you need 38 states to ratify it. Only 35 states did, but yet somehow, someway, through some underhanded dealings, it got pushed right through and, became the law of the land. And, so now we're just hoping that, the administration follows through on this promise, and I have no doubt that they will, because so far they follow through on every promise that they've made.
Promises made, promises kept, and, I'm looking forward to the day that the IRS officially closes its doors altogether and cuts off this supply of your money, my money, to all of these ridiculous agencies and and programs and wasteful fraud projects that that that that that politicians load themselves up. And now we're gonna talk a little more about that kind of stuff in a little bit because, you know, as elected officials make about a hundred and $74,000 a year, you know, in congress and the senate, maybe a little bit more in the senate, I think. And, yet somehow, someway, they become multimillionaires. And, we know what we'll talk about that in just a little bit. I don't wanna I don't wanna jump the shark, if you know what I mean.
Alright. So let's see. Now, of course, you know, this go all goes in line with, you know, the things that are going on with the economy, China. You know, April 2, Donald Trump declared Liberation Day, and that's the day that, he applied reciprocal tax tariffs on, on countries, that that were holding tariffs over us. And so and, and look, there are a 90 countries in the world there, and and a 75 of them a a 75 of them tariff The United States. So, obviously, tariffs work for something. Right? Now, The United States in most cases is was heavily limited as to how much of a tariff, they would they would apply. Most cases, barely 2%.
While places like, China, or actually, let's go to Canada, kinda right over here, Canada Three Hundred Percent tariff on American dairy products. But yet, you know, by us responding with reciprocal taxes, all of a sudden, we're evil and we're horrible, and how can we do that? And, you know, it the American people and the and and and The United States as a whole have been have been taken advantage of and abused by the world for too long, and it's now time. And we finally have an administration in place, again, that is, is not gonna play the game. That's gonna seek to level the playing field, and that's exactly what we're doing here. Now, of course, today, China, responded to the, reciprocal tariff, by by slapping an 84% retaliatory tariff on US goods in direct response in direct response to what, this administration has done.
This is, from Gateway Pundit. Communist China has retaliated against president Donald Trump's latest round of America First tariffs by imposing a staggering 84% levy on US imports up from 34%. Alright. So they were already charging us 34%. And if you remember, I played a I played a video, a couple days ago of Nancy Pelosi, believe it or not, of all people, back in 1996, talking about how, you know, these, these these tariffs, you know, allow China to, develop, a million jobs, but barely a hundred thousand jobs or a 70,000 jobs here in The United States because of the cost of doing business.
So how is that fair? How is that equal trade? How is that, you you so is that that's America being taken advantage of. So the Trump administration has has, imposed reciprocal taxes making it all even. Because what does reciprocal mean? Reciprocal means if you do it to me, I will do it to you. Okay? Very simple. Even for the liberals to understand, it's very very simple. So, so, so the now that China has levied this 84% levy, 84% tariff on The United States, The Trump administration is, is is responding with an increased tariff.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social today, based on the lack of respect that that China has shown to the world's markets, I am hereby raising the tariff charged to China by The United States, you're ready for to a 25% effective immediately. At some point, hopefully, in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off The US and other countries is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 countries have called representatives of The United States, including Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and USTR, to negotiate a solution based, negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to trade, trade barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation, non monetary tariffs, And these countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliate in any way, shape, or form against The United States. I have authorized a ninety day pause and a substantially lowered reciprocal tariff during this period of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

That's folks, that's huge. You cannot deny that that's huge. And, of course, the stock markets are reacting to it. As as we talked about on Monday, we said that, yeah, there might be some periods of time where it's gonna be volatile. There's gonna be some fluctuations in it. Look, I'm not an economist. This is just, you know, my observations as everyday guy just looking at things. You know, there are gonna be fluctuations to it, but the market will correct itself.
And when the market correct itself, folks, watch out, man. The American economy is gonna come back roaring, and that's gonna be a great thing. That's gonna be a great thing, and I'm excited for that. I'm happy for that. We wanna see that. You know, yes, I am in favor of Texas independence. Yes, I do wanna see Texas leave The United States and stand alone among the nations. Absolutely. A %. I think there was this concern among some folks that Donald Trump would come in for a second term and kinda be a lame duck. He ain't no lame duck. If anything, he's a soaring eagle. What am I talking about here? Let's talk about Trump executive orders in 2019. The CNN. Have signed a 11 so far. That is the most at this point in a presidency in at least a hundred years. In fact, it's the most in any single year, and we're only in April since Harry s Truman in the early nineteen fifties. The bottom line is whether you like Trump or you don't like him, you can't say that he's comment and not try to deliver on what he at least believes was his promises on the campaign trail, and he's doing so in historic fashion.
How are people reacting to and feel about Trump's approach? Yeah. Okay. So Trump's approach here, what are we talking about? Trump's approach to presidential power. I think the American people recognize what he's doing here is completely different. We're talking get this. 86% of the American public believes that Trump's approach to presidential power is completely different from past presidents compared to only 14% who believe it is in line with president, and we're talking about at least 79% of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans. So, again, you can agree or you can disagree with Donald Trump, but what you can't disagree with is that he's doing things very differently. I have used the Frank Sinatra quote before. He is doing it, quote unquote, my way, and that is what Donald Trump has done throughout both of his presidential terms, and he's certainly doing that, Kate Baldwin, in term number two. Now, of course, you know, we're we're looking at the midterms. The midterms are coming up. And, of course, you know, you you you there are, you know, concerns that the Democrats gonna try to steal house seats. There was a concern about that with this, recent Supreme Court election, over in, Wisconsin that they were gonna try to redistrict. I don't I don't I mean, it's a possibility at some point. I don't necessarily see that happening, but the midterms are coming up. And I think the pace that he's on right now, I think I think the president understands the midterms are coming up, and anything can happen. You know? Anything can happen. So he's working hard now to get his agenda put in place, get the people he needs put in place, get the policy he needs put in place, because, you know, Al Green has already said that within the next thirty days, he's he's filing articles of impeachment again.
You know, this is a regular occurrence for the left, you know, they they they stomp their feet, they hold their breath, they they they scream and cry like children because that's exactly what they are, because they have no principle, they have no value of of what America really is, and, so, you know, their their their philosophies, they, you know, they're gonna stomp their feet, suck their thumb, scream, cry, yell, bellyache, all that stuff until they get what they want. Like, undisciplined children. Yeah. Exactly. Undisciplined children. So I think Donald Trump knows that. I think this administration knows that, and I think that's what he's looking at as far as the midterms go. He wants I think he's looking to get as much of his of his policy as much of his, agenda put through, before those midterms take place so that there isn't any real, concern as far as, you know, the the the deadlock that could take place should the Democrats I don't know how they would. It just seems like it just seems like the Democrats are as as a whole, as a party, have such a poor, image in the, in the eyes of the American people right now. I think they're pulling it, like like like, 20 something percent, 24%, favorability.
I don't I don't think there's a chance that they're gonna overtake the the house or the senate, but look, you never like I said, you never know. The the only way Democrats win elections is by stealing them, and that's the truth, and you know that's the truth. That's what happened in in in 2020. That's from what I'm hearing, that's what happened up in Wisconsin with this, the Supreme Court election. They're at the polling places again. They were putting up the boards, blocking the windows, not letting people watch, the counting process, and and so on and so forth. So there's some question there, and I'm just throwing it out there. I'm I'm not going any further than that. I don't know the official positions and stories yet. I haven't really seen too much about it, but I've seen and heard a few things, from some reliable sources and, you know, so we gotta keep, you know, we'll we'll keep an eye on that. I'll let you know what whatever it is that I hear. But, you know, we gotta keep that in mind that, you know, there's there's a possibility. You know, the the midterms come up, and then we'll look we'll be looking at two years of success, and then if the if the Republicans lose control in the midterms, then you're looking at two years of, roadblocks. You're looking at two years of hearings and impeachments and and all that stuff.
So even though they they scream and cry about, you know, impeaching is not the right thing to do, it's the wrong way to go, so on and so forth, you know, but they do it. They do it more than Republicans do. So far more, and you know that. I don't have to tell you that, you're smart. I probably have the best audience there is. You know, I I I do. I you guys you guys are sharp. Infowars. Right? So, you know, I'm a big fan of of Infowars and Alex Jones, and I think he he's I think he's right more than he is wrong. And one of these days, I'm gonna wear my Alex Jones shirt in here. Not the one I wore the other day. The the unburden one. I'm gonna wear the one that says Alex Jones is right. Change my mind. Talks still talking about the economy, touting economy, boosting policies, reassures Americans. So, Wednesday morning, Donald Trump issued a series of posts on his truth social platform, basically, touting and and, you know, bragging about his, and pushing his economic policies of tariffs, which, you know, like we said, you know, looking to, to boost the domestic economy, bring back jobs, and and so on and so forth. He's also pushed for extra tax cuts on American citizens, which would, of course, would allow for, you know, increased take home pay.
And, again, still waiting for the abolishment of the the, federal income tax. Because the more money you bring home, the more money you have to take care of your family and take care of the needs that you feel is important, not what some politician thinks. Because even though they're your representatives, they don't really represent you. They represent the people that, give them more money. So you know how that works. Alright? So from stating how this is from Infowars. From stating how the current lower cost of entering the stock market or purchasing more stock means it's a good time to buy, and not freak out, to outright telling Americans to be cool. The president is reassuring those who are upset by stock prices going down in response to his recent tariffs.
So, here's just a few of the, of the, post that he made up on truth. This is a great time to buy DJT. Be cool. Everything's gonna work out well. The USA will be bigger and better than ever before. Fixing trade and tariffs is a good thing. Says, Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase chairman. It's imperative that Republicans in the house pass the tax cut bill now. Our country will boom. Republicans, it is more important now than ever that we pass the one big beautiful bill. The USA will soar like never before, and then he went on to say, make America great again. And, this is a great time to move your company to The United States, like Apple and so many others in record numbers are doing. Zero tariffs and almost immediate electrical energy hookups and approvals.
No environmental delays. Don't wait. Do it now. So the president also said that it's imperative for Republicans to pass the tax cuts, going on to mention how decreased taxation of the American people will make the economy boom, which is absolutely true. He spoke to, company heads where he said this is, you know, a great time to move your company here. And, you know, you also have to consider and it's important to consider, you know, advancements in AI and robotics, which are taking place globally, you know, cheap Chinese factories. This is according to Infowars. Cheap Chinese factory workers will no longer have the have a cost advantage regardless of the greater social implications of these technologies reshoring the manufacturing centers before China transitions to an all out to an all robotic manufacturing system puts America First as humanity enters a brave new world.
So, folks, you know, we're on the right track. We are absolutely on the right track, and this is not a time for us to be bellyaching, not time for us to be concerned and and worried and and and, you know, basically pulling the hair out of your head, you know, whatever you have left. Now's not the time. Now's the time to to hold the line. You have to hold the line. Trust the judgment of this man. I I In my in my gut, I've I've He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing, and we he's putting us on the right track. There's gonna be volatility. Yes. There's gonna be some aches and pains. Yes. We are transitioning from a position of weakness to a position of strength, and, economically.
And, you know, with that type of change, there there are aches and pains. It's gonna happen. Just like it was the other way around. Just like it was when we went from having a strong economy under the first Trump administration to the disaster of the Biden administration, it was painful. It was a very painful process. And, you know, we we're healing from that, and we're coming back. Trust the president. Trust what he's doing. Let it all work out. Markets will correct. The markets will come back. They've already have come back. They the Dow increased 1,900 points today.
That's that's a great great indicator. Again, I'm not I'm not an economics person. I'm I'm not somebody that, you know, I I a lot of the stuff kind of goes right over my head at times, but I can see what good is and what not, and what's not good. This is good stuff. We are not letting the globalists take advantage of this country and the American people anymore. No more. The globalists are now coming to The United States. The globalists are coming here, and they're looking for us. I I I I guess I can put it this way, to show mercy. So that's a big difference than it was four year, just last year, the year before, you know, over the last four years where the the the the globalist just just beat on us and took advantage of us every which way. They knew we had no leadership.
They knew we'd that we had an auto pen, not a president. They knew that Joe Biden was not mentally capable of leading this country, and they took advantage of the weakness. And now, you watch them cry because there's strong leadership in the White House again. There's strong leadership in the Congress. There's strong leadership in the well, senate not so not so much. As long as you have as long as you have Mitch McConnell there, you you you're, which is another issue. We'll get to that. But, but, the but, you know, we're not just leaving it just to tariffs. You know, we're we're also going after, China in other ways.

And he said in a in a speech in Panama, he said China did not build this canal, China does not operate this canal, and China will not weaponize this canal. He went on to say that together with Panama in the lead, we will keep the canal secure and available for all nations through the deterrent power of the strongest, most effective, most lethal fighting force in the world. We will do this in participant in partnership with Panama.
Together, we will take back the Panama Canal from China influence, and we'll do this along with other capable minded allies and partners. This is what peace through strength looks like. Absolutely agreed. Absolutely agreed with that. I could not agree with that anymore. This is what peace through strength looks like. Economic strength, military strength, you have the right people in these positions right now, doing exactly what needs to be done, to keep America safe, to make America the wealthiest nation in the world again. Folks, you gotta give it time.
Ignore what the mainstream media is telling you. Ignore the, the bought and paid for protesters at Tesla plants, and ignore the bought and paid for, protesters at rally supposedly against the administration and against Donald Trump, and for the agenda he's pushing. These are not the all these protests, all these things that are going on, all these demonstrations, these are not organic things. These are things that are organized, paid for by some left leaning organization that it's all gonna come back to George Soros. It's all gonna come back to George Soros, guarantee it.
Or at least, if not George Soros, his son Alex Alex Soros. But that's the guiding hand behind all this. So just keep it just just just keep holding on. Hold on. For a while there, I definitely held the grudge against the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I mean, how could how could you not? And then, we have their infiltration of private American citizens over something they said in chat rooms and online forums, which is entirely different powder keg. A report revealed that, a New York a New York Post report revealed that via a series of FBI chat logs, the agency had imposed an internal gag order when it came to anything surrounding the Hunter Biden infamous laptop. This is all according to several FBI chat logs, which were posted on the House Judiciary Committee, the House where did I go? The House Judiciary Committee's x account, in it, you can see they made very clear that they should not talk about the Biden matter to any extent. Now, Elon Musk had previously, he's always kinda questioned these, the wealth of of members of Congress. He said a lot of, back in March, he said, a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress where I just where I just can't. I'm trying to connect the dots of how they became rich. How do they get $20,000,000 if they're earning $200,000 a year? Nobody can explain that. We're gonna try to figure it out, and certainly won't stop, and it certainly we're gonna try to figure it out and certainly stop it from happening. And, Elon Musk has taken particular aim at Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, who, to to their cumulative net worth is estimated at $439,000,000.
Can you believe that? Can you believe that? And it it The reason they have this kind of money is because they funnel money from your taxes through these organizations like USAID, which thank God is just about done. They funnel money through of your taxes through organizations like USAID, which then funnel them out to NGOs, which are staffed and run by people that are close to the elected politician that got the funding in the first place to go from USAID to the NGO, and the NGO sends it back to the politician. That's kinda how it works.
So this is why they're so upset with Elon Musk doing what it is that he's doing with Doge. This is why the left is so apoplectic about this. Russia's involvement of China, along with other countries, whether directly or indirectly in this war in Europe, is clear signal that Putin intends to do anything but end the war. He wants The United States to get involved. He wants Europe to get involved because he wants to prolong this war. He wants to continue this war, which will eventually plunge us into a nuclear confrontation. That's my opinion. That's my assessment of the whole thing. Escalating this whole mess that we really have no business being a part of. I am getting sick and tired of being the policeman for the world.
I do not wanna see American boots on the ground. I did not wanna see American blood spilled on behalf of Ukraine. If I'm wrong, let me be wrong, but my opinion. And I think it's slightly hypocritical that he'd be complaining about foreign soldiers fighting on behalf of Russia when he himself has foreign soldiers fighting on behalf of Ukraine. I don't I haven't seen anything in the news. I haven't seen anything, posted anywhere, social media anywhere, whereas Zelensky is telling foreign soldiers, foreign military personnel to not come to Ukraine. I haven't seen that anywhere. Have you? No.
Interesting, though. Very interesting. So you remember, a few days ago, Cory Booker, the, the, senator from, New Jersey went out there and, and and gave this grandstanding twenty five hour speech on the floor of, the senate for really nothing, filibustered for twenty five hours. He had to be had to be wearing a diaper, right? Because he was on the floor for twenty five hours straight, talking. How did he go to the bathroom? He didn't stop for that, then it would stop the filibuster. He had to been wearing a diaper. So, you know, but anyway, so, so Cory Booker may have been, according to town hall, celebrated by his Democratic colleagues and allies in the mainstream media for his twenty five hour speech last week, but it looks like that speech could have gotten him in trouble.
Uh-huh. The nonpartisan ethics watchdog group has now written to the senate ethics committee as a result of the senators sending out campaign messages about the speech. How great is that? Let's take a look. Here's one of them right here. I'm setting I'm heading to the Senate floor because Donald Trump and Elon Musk have shown a complete disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the needs of the American people. One particular note where the message was sent out on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning with the emphasis original to Arnold, the message with the subject line, we must speak up. And and the and the message read like this, I may be tired and I'm still a little hoarse, but as I've said again and again, this this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent. We must speak up. If you were inspired by what you saw today split a contribution between Cory Booker and the DNC.
Well, that that's that sounds like he was using it for a campaign to get donations. No? Sure does to me. The letter continued by calling Booker and his actions out specifically and the problems that could be for the Senate as a whole. In essence, by employing this tactic, Senator Booker indicates to potential contributors that his official actions could be influenced by campaign contributions. So let's see. Hopefully, something comes of this. I'd love to see that and maybe an investigation by the DOJ. Maybe attorney general Pam Bondi instead of making get another appearance on Fox News would take a look at this. That'd be very much appreciated, I think.

We actually haven't talked about anything Texas related in a while. So let me let me pull this up really quick. Alright? So we got Texas AG, attorney general cat Ken Paxton, announces that he's going to primary challenge senator John Cornyn. So Texas attorney general Ken Paxton announced a primary challenge against Lone Star State's longtime senator John Cornyn in, what might shape up to be an ugly battle.
I'm announcing that I'm running for US Senate against John Cornyn, who apparently is running again for the fifth term, which would put him there three decades. It's definitely time for a change in Texas. It's what Paxton told Fox News host Laura Ingram in our program. We have another great US senator Ted Cruz, and it's time we have another great senator that will actually stand up and fight for Republican values, fight for the values of people of Texas, and support Trump, Donald Trump, in the areas that he is focused on very significant way. And, so Cornyn, of of course responded to this, or at least his his, his temp his campaign team responded to this. And, this is what they had to say.
During his first term, John Cornyn voted with president Trump more than 95% of the current senators, securing the votes for his biggest accomplishments as as his whip. Democrats are trying to destroy president Trump, and and he and Texas need a battle tested conservative who knows how to protect his agenda in in the senate and won't be outsmarted by Chuck Schumer. Ken Paxton is a fraud. He talks tough on crime, then it lets crooked progressive Linda Hidalgo off the hook. He says he's he says his impeachment trial was a sham, but it did not contest the facts and legal filings, which will cost the state millions. He says he's anti woke, but he funnels millions of taxpayer dollars to lawyers who celebrate DEI.
And Ken claims to be a man of faith, but uses fake Uber accounts to meet his girlfriend and deceive his family. This will be a spirited campaign, and we assure Texans they will have a real choice when this rain, when this race is over. So, already starting. Already starting. So can you imagine what this is going to end up being in the long run? Ken Paxton, just so you know, he was impeached by the, Texas House of Representatives in 02/2023 on, corruption charges. He was, he was acquitted by the Texas State Senate. And then the following year, he reached a deal that included $300,000 payment in restitution to avoid a securities fraud trial stemming from a 02/2015 indictment, on three felony charges.
Alright. But there was at least one poll from Texas upon Texas public opinion opinion research that gives Paxton a 10 a 10 double digit edge over Cornyn, you know, for the time being. And, let's take a look at that. Let's pull that baby up right there. So, Brad Johnson posted this on x. A new poll from Texas PO TX PO Research on the Texas Senate two thousand twenty six shows. Primary, Republicans only. John Cornyn has 27%. Ken Paxton, thirty eight %. Colin Allred is at 7%, with 33 with no opinion or never heard of. So, I think Colin Allred should drop out right now.
Don't really I'd something about him, Colin Allred, when when he was running for, trying to unseat Ted Cruz just came across as so extremely fake. So extremely fake. So, this is for sure gonna be a very interesting campaign, and, I'm kinda curious as to how it's gonna turn out. I I particularly am a fan of Ken Paxton. I I think that he's done a a fantastic job here in Texas, for the time that I've been living here while he was the a while he's been the a g. I think he's done a great job. I think a lot of a lot of these stories about him are are definitely, blown up way more than than than what they're being made out to be. But, you know, anything's possible. Anything is possible.
Alright. And then, last but not least, how could you, how could you not close out your Texas news section without the Texas racist and chief Jasmine Crockett? So, Jasmine Crockett, went on a completely racist rant trying to justify illegal immigration. First of all, the illegals that Trump is being no. For well, first of all, before I even get to that, first of all, we are not deporting immigrants. Okay. If you are here legally as an as an immigrant, if you immigrated here legally, and you became a citizen here even though you may be an immigrant coming to the country, not native born, you're an immigrant, but you're here legally, you are not going to be deported.
I am not an attorney. This lunatic is. She doesn't know that. Either either she doesn't know that, or she's being incredibly disingenuous. The Trump administration is deporting not the ones that are quote, unquote picking cotton, as she says. The illegal immigrants that are being deported are the rapists, the gang bangers, the murderers, the ones that are stealing, torturing, trafficking drugs, and people, and guns. That's who's being deported. And if you wanna put together an argument for illegal immigration, I don't think this is the one you wanna put out.
I don't think this is the right direction to go. I don't think this is the right strategy to take if you wanna fight for illegal immigration. Let me show you this. The the I don't know if you remember this one, but earlier this year, she, went on this unhinged, I mean, absolutely unhinged racist rant during a house oversight committee meeting about dismantling the DEI act. And, the and this is this is what she had to say about that.

He goes, what do you think of the new leadership? And he just cut through all the nonsense. I mean, this is just classic senator Kennedy and just here.
