It's the Fairly Fun Show. But instead of just talking With Silas Vokt. I am very capitalist. We also play music. Capitalism for the people, not for the corporation. Very professional. Go podcasting.   We want the love coming back from people, and and   boosting is loving.   Woah. Brewster is loving? Yes.   I'm here.   You used to be, bitch. That's one of the songs we played last time. I'm here.   But also, it is the service I've returned. Someone sent a screenshot to me of fountain? Someone sent a screenshot to me of   Fountain   just featuring   the Fairly Fun Show in this category. I'm sure they just feature every music show that exists right now, but that kind of that's kind of urged me   to record these more.  

So, let's see what happens after this.   I don't know. It feels nice doing this show. I like this. This is a good setup. This is fun.   I just have other things to do. So it's like I just sit here waiting until is there using to do this show. And it's quite hard work. It's not like, oh yeah, I just sit here and play some songs.   The amount   of songs that I've listened to that I don't end up actually using on the shows.   So many,   so many songs.   But I'm not complaining.   I'm just explaining to you.   If you want more episodes you got to   Boost in more often.   Boost in.   Or like send me a screenshot of Oh, look.   The fairly fun show featured   in podcasting 2.0 magazine or some bullshit like that. And then I'll probably make one.  

Yes.   I've been doing other things.   I've set up   a website, a basic website.   The main reason why I set that up is because I wanted a   blog and a newsletter thing.   So you'll find a link in the description,   salasvok.com.   Or as I say in German,   that's their actual pronunciation   but in English, that's   that's the closest approximation people can pronounce.   Except for Adam.   He can say   physios.   Weirdly.   But it can.   Yeah. What can you what can you read there?   I've called the newsletter and the blog Chronicles of Everything. So I'll write about actually everything there.   Like last week or this week the first first   post   that I did was about   My road cast are being broken again, you remember?  

The It's power supply screwed up.   It's broken friendly. It's broken again, but it's broken differently now.   I don't know why.   When it's plugged into my computer and it's turned off.   My computer will not turn on with it. It, like, tries to start up and something, I don't know, shorts out of whatever happens   and it just turns off and immediately turns off and refuses to turn back on again.   That's what I wrote about in the first   thing   also about being banned from Twitter   and social media and things.   Also,   this The next one is gonna be about Start OS   and the little Ace Magician computer that I bought for a video. The turn any PC into a games console video,   which you probably maybe you've seen on my YouTube channel.  

That I think that is breaking now or is broken.   I was I was blaming   On podcast index dot social, if you follow me there,   I was blaming Star OS for not recognizing a USB device. But no, I think it's just it I think it just fucked up.   I think it just broke   which is incredibly dumb.   But okay.   So   You can read about that on the newsletter. And also, I think you should sign up just in case,   you know, I get banned from podcast index dot social   or techhub.social   or I don't know. Wherever you follow me, I I cross post my social media things   usually.  

My little little thing. Since I got banned from Twitter, even before that actually, I was cross posting to loads of sites   automatically   all the time because that's just better.   But yeah,   it's still the direct connection. Me sending you an email address, an email with your email address. That's that's better.   That's a lot better.   There's an RSS feed too but I would   prefer if you just subscribe with your emails just because   for safety reasons.   You know, you can't just remove   the Ares es feed then if you get annoyed. You'll have to actually go and try to unsubscribe.   That's a lot harder for me too. That's   for you to get rid of me in your life.  

The next song we're gonna play now Yeah. I'm truly evil. Next song we're gonna play now is   another Sonic the Hedgehog video game song. Last episode we played I'm here from Sonic Sonic Frontiers,   which I think is very good.   It's not a non value for value song, but as I said in the last last one, these are, I think, fine to play because   Sega just don't strike things down very much.   Oh, crap. I thought I already put it in the thing. I didn't.   Where's the letter I? Oh, there it is. This is I am all of me   from Shadow the Hedgehog. Not a Well, it is also a Sonic the Hedgehog franchise game, but it's a different   one. It's one where a black,   black black red colored cartoon hedgehog has guns and kills people.  

For   for   Yes. Yes.   I really like it. They have so many vocal themes. I think there's like a 100 45 us or whatever.   They have   many   vocal songs in in in those games.   I like that very good.   As I'm recording this it's   the 10th February   and today is   National   Umbrella Day.   Now, that's   very silly.   I thought that was a fun day, so that's why I chose to put that in the document.   Do you know when the first   collapsible.   Umbrella was created. I don't know why I paused there. But   I have trouble speaking.   The first collapsible   umbrella actually dates back to, or at least the oldest one that we've found so far dates back to 21 AD from   ancient China,   Which is like   I don't know if I'm   impressed.  

That it came up at that time.   We're kind of disappointed because it's such a simple invention and you would think   Humans could have kind of   raked some plants together to kind of form a thing like that. I don't know.   I I I didn't write down what material it it was or whatever. It just I just wrote down oldest collapsible umbrella from 21 AD from ancient China.   The oldest one that's permanently open made from terracotta goes back to, I think 212   or something BC.   So   that's also from somewhere in that region though, but I didn't write that down. I just I,   yeah. I don't know.

So   episode 163,   storage power,   where they had   From podcasting 2.0, where they had Barry Liebrecht   Liebrecht   from Podholme.fm   On the show,   they've actually   spread some lies, I think. Let's see if this works.  

I mean, I'll need to lower this. This is gonna be amazing if just this is the wrong clip.   What mediums do you support, Barry? Is it, just podcasting and podcast music right now, or do you have other, like, audio book and that kind of thing? Podcast.   Well, everything that's, currently supporting the index.   Did you hear this?   Everything that's currently supported in the index.   If you didn't hear that,   I don't hear the actual live mix that you hear in the end when I record this. What mediums do you support, Barry? Is it, just podcasting and podcast and music right now, or do you have other, like, audiobook and that kind of thing? Podcast well, everything that's currently supported in the index or in in the key space.   So that's podcast,   music,   audiobook, and I also added course   because I have a couple of courses that I just wanna upload there as well. Although it's stuff. Official thing. And I don't think any apps are actually using it, but at least it's, you know, semantically, then it's correct.   I've just lied to you.  

I've lied to you. I've tricked you into thinking that they're probably not because you're smarter than this.   The   main reason for even bringing this up,   I remembered this kind of wrong. I remembered them just, like, saying, oh, yeah. It supports everything in the index.   And then when I actually went and try well, actually did sign up for Potom.   I saw it didn't have any of the video things,   And I,   got upset and relistened to the episode.   And, yeah. Clearly,   What what they're referring to is, yeah, it has everything in the index.   Audio wise.  

And then even after that, they go   a bit later,   They go on and talk about how it doesn't have any video features and stuff yet and how that is   on the drawing board for Pod home.   And now I'm kind of   trying to spin this in a way of Oh, look.   Watch out. Even if you listen to If you Even if you listen to or read something that apparently   tells you the truth, you can always kind of screw things around.   You can always screw things in a way, edit things in a way   to   profit.   At least.   No. I I mean, in this case, not literally profit, not money, but like mentally   I profit from this   Little little cut out version. I didn't even have to move anything around.

The first one   About Twitter though.   Because usually, I like to have nuanced opinions.   But on Twitter, when I had Twitter, I would go   mad.   I got I I kind of learned to play both sides   of an argument. Usually, I have the opinion nothing   is nothing is 1 or 0. Nothing in reality. Nothing is black or white. Everything is always   Zones of gray. That's why the whole   fucking   political system in America where you have 2 big parties and everybody hates each other is really dumb because   things are never that simple.  

Never in life is something as simple as this.   But if you want it to be, you can make it that way. If you have the correct words,   maybe go and read that   blog post.   It's pretty   simple, but   I I don't think you can learn something from it, honestly. We have one of these opinion   blogger people   in Germany.   Kuhn Tiffau.   One of his,   What his name is is in German.   Cake TV,   the dumb translation   to English. And he was live on Twitch,   the twitch stop TV live streaming service and he was talking   I don't know exactly know what's going what went on. But he   talk shit about a female streamer.  

And basically, Twitch banned him   for saying   words.   And now   the   oh, how do you translate that?   A court in Brunswick   has actually   now ruled that that was   Not okay.   You can't just be banned for saying words on Twitch. And also,   the court said it was not   actual good timing.   You can't just ban someone   immediately.   Yeah. At least if you do that for a good reason,   It has to be a good reason, not   speech.   But then if there is a good reason for it, you have to give them a warning in advance.   So   But now, Twitch is supposed to   I think they have to unban him.  

So that's pretty cool. I need to look into that more, but I just saw that a few days ago.   That's that's interesting.   It's funny with all the Americans online being like, oh,   German and no free speech.   And then things like this happen.   That's very good. I like that. Very comforting.   There is at least some sense left. I mean, there is a lot of sense left in Germany.   A lot of overregulation   too, but   that's, that's good. This specific thing.   I like doing this show. I hope that you've enjoyed it as well.
