Who owns the cymbals? What's up, everyone? It's America Plus. I'm your host, Cole McCormick. It's another week. Another episode. What's going on, everybody? It's Sunday, February 23, '8 '50 '6 in the PM. What up you? Happy to be here. I'm super hyped to be here. Y'all, it's I couldn't be more excited to see you. It's been a beautiful day. I was at the beach, and, just vibes, bro. I'm sunburned right now. It's, I couldn't be any happier. I got a, pint of raw dairy ice cream from a friend of mine, and it was quite literally some of the best ice cream I've ever had in my effing life. Shout out to Case Bradford, y'all. Case Bradford with the ice cream.
Dude, Case. I met Case on a raw dairy farm, and now he's giving me ice cream. This is I work out with him on the beach. I couldn't be any happier. I I think I'm gonna try to go to the beach, like, every like, at least once a week, every Sunday. I need to. I need to. It's just I feel good when I do this, y'all. So, that's where I'm at right now. That's the vibes I'm I'm giving you right now. And, this week is gonna be a controversial one. So, I'm it's good good that I'm in good vibes because we're walking a tight line right now, folk folks. What we're talking about today is clearly Kanye. We need to talk about Ye himself.
And the most important thing about this is I'm not trying to defend the man. He needs no defending. I'm not gonna, like, suck his dick. Like, I don't need to do that. That's not my job here at America Plus. Okay? I'm just I'm living my life. I'm absorbing what he's saying online, and I'm trying to think about it. And what some people want you to think is that he's hateful and anti Semitic and an idiot and mean and rude and bad and whatever. They just want you to think he's racist, honestly. And they would love they would love for Ye to be irrelevant.
Unfortunately, he continues to be relevant. And, so okay. Long story short, there's a lot of things going on with Ye right now, and I wanna focus on one particular subject, one particular thread. Okay? The difficult thing about talking about Ye is that he, like, he layers controversy like he does a nice outfit. You know how, like, traditionally, you might, like, layer some clothes on to, like, to look nice for your mom? Ye, he just straps on layers of ins what seems like insanity. But in reality, it's actually a bit thought provoking, and maybe it makes a bit of sense. And most recently so he's been been doing a bunch of different things.
First of all, he's been he has a new Swastika t shirt. I'm not sure if he's selling it. He was selling it. I can probably probably look that up right now if he is selling that. Is the Yeezy website still up? It was it was down for a minute, but pretty much, Yeezy store is coming soon. Okay. The website's not even up, but he has advertised that he is making a swastika shirt. And along with that, he has his meme coin coming out, which I'm sure the Bitcoiners are all pissed off about. He's got the shit coin. People think that he, like, sold off a portion of usage of his account to some sort of infamous, meme coiner scammer person.
So I don't know what that's all about. And along with that, he's he just keeps on tweeting. Okay? He he doesn't stop tweeting. This is an issue for a lot of people. Why it's an issue for anyone? I don't know. Because everyone's tweeting about so many different things. But this is really what's happening now is connected to 2022. He went on this huge rampage, about the Jewish people. And he was that was when, like, he was bringing up Jewish media, people like, the Jews are in charge. I have some quotes here. I've been using Grok three, by the way, to help me out with, with this episode. So Grok has these has these quotes.
And and on 12/01/2022, Ye was on Infowars, and Ye said, I see good things about Hitler. Every human being has something of value to be that they have brought to the table. Interesting. He doubled down saying, there's a lot of things I love about Hitler. A lot of things. And argued, we gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time. Twenty twenty two was a wild time. Okay? So I don't know how you feel about this. Again, I'm not trying to defend it. What I'm trying to do is figure out, if the if there is something to really think about. Okay?
And the biggest thing is, is there is there is there reason to to think about symbols? Is there reason to think about the the purpose of any symbol? Okay? Because there's so much controversy with, with the swastika. There's so much controversy with with, like, this whole subject matter of whatever is going on here. And what I wanna do is try to, like, pick it apart. Okay? So long story short, let me I I have an I have an image here on my phone. I need to air drop this to my computer right now. Pretty much, what you need to see is this, back to back photo of Ye.
He's wearing two different shirts. One is from, like, the early two thousands, and the other one is from, like, right now. If you're watching the video, you see it. It, this audio if you're on the audio, it's in the chapter chapters. But pretty much in, like, the nineties, Ye wore this shirt with a swastika and, like, the cancel symbol, and it says, say no to Nazis. And now and today, he's wearing a black t shirt, and, it's just a it's just a swastika. And people are really hating on this. So I don't know if I I'm I'm not sure this is relevant. You know? Is this really bad and controversial?
Some people say it is. Some people say this is bad. He's getting in a fight with Dave Portnoy. Dave Portnoy thinks this is scary. Jason from the All In podcast thinks this is crazy. What's the history? What's the history with the swastika? We all know that it's, that it's Nazis. A lot of us know that. But what is the real history? Pretty much, the the history of the swastika, it goes back 7,000 appearing in Euro Asia, possibly symbolizing the sun's movement or good fortune derived from the sandskirt word spastica, meaning well-being.
It's found in archaeological sites in ancient Troy, linking to early Indo European cultures. And then it's also in India for the Hindus. It's also in Japan for the Buddhists. It's a Buddhist symbol. It's a Hindu symbol. It's something that has been around for a long time, and there's actually there's positive vibes about this symbol in different parts of the world. And what's important to, to know is that different people from different places use this symbol in different ways. And as an American, you know, this is America plus. We got Yay here going after the Jews, quote, unquote.
And I'm not trying to get into specific Jewish, conspiracies. That's really not what I'm trying to do. I'm never gonna try to spew hate. I'm never gonna try to say this group of people is bad because of their race or this race is is is no good. That's not what I'm getting at. That's I don't think yay is getting at that. This is about symbols. This is about pictures. Okay? And, what I think is interesting is that this symbol has been used for thousands and thousands of years. And it's only until we get into, the nineteen twenties and the early twentieth century and Germany and Hitler, and this is when, like, it turns into a symbol of hate.
Why? You know? Why does it turn into a symbol of hate? Hitler just took it. It was one cultures, and then Hitler just takes it? He just takes it. Like, how is that possible? Hitler takes it for no reason. Why does he take it? He takes it as a sign of of purity. Hitler takes the the symbol of the swastika as a sign of the Aryan race. He uses it in propaganda. He uses it on his flags. And ever since World War two, the swastika has been a symbol of hate. And anyone affiliated with this symbol, anyone who uses this symbol, mainly in the in the twenty first century, is now evil and bad, which is, in my opinion, a bit ridiculous.
Because, just specifically because of the history with Hinduism and Buddhism, these things that have historical, truly historical evidence of being peaceful and, like, and just just good vibes. There's even a freaking Coca Cola ad. Coca Cola thought the the swastika was so good that they wanted to put it in a Coca Cola ad. Where's that photo ad, dude? Let me pull up my downloads. Downloads, I had it in my, nah. It's not here anymore, but whatever. Coca Cola used it. Okay? And I'm I I I'm transforming this Coca Cola image into the episode image, which I think is hilarious.
Why should we why should we as a people see this symbol as evil? And why should the most successful black man on Earth, which is who Ye is, why should he be afraid of using that symbol? You know? If there is so much historical context with this, why does one group get to hold on to hold on to it? You know? I I think that's what's I think that's what's going on. I'm not sure if that's accurate. You know, that could be, like, the worst take of my life. But if if a German man took a Buddhist symbol and turned it into something evil, why is it that almost one hundred years after that man existed and did that, why is it that the group that was oppressed by that symbol still using it as a sign of oppression?
You know, that's really what I'm getting at, and that's what I believe Ye might be pointing to. And this is sort of going into, like, generational trauma and cultural trauma. I'm not trying to disprove the holocaust. What I'm trying to talk about is I believe it's possible for the Jewish people to heal from their trauma. I think it's possible that an individual can heal from their trauma. And what's important to know is that, you you are able to heal. You choose to heal. You choose to walk forward, in these things. So when it comes to cultural healing, I I I I don't know the real steps to that. You know?
When it comes to individual healing, you have to you have to do the work. You know? That's a personal thing. You have to go to counseling. You have to go to therapy, or you have to work out consistently. You have to change your diet, or you have to change your thoughts. You have to focus on different things in your heart. You have to do that. And so when it comes to a group like the Jewish people who have so much fear around being oppressed and hated on, when this one person, this one famous person who they tried canceling like, let's just be honest about that. The Jews tried canceling, yay. Whether it be in the form of banks, whether it be in the form of media, or culture in general, So many Jewish people online were tweeting about how, I'm Jewish, and I'm offended.
I'm Jewish, and I'm afraid. I'm Jewish, and I feel attacked. You know? I really believe these are a bit preposterous because there are actual wars going on. And unless there's a person who's actively harming you, like, physically harming you, then whatever picture online there is doesn't harm you. Some people on the left wanna say that white men are the worst people on Earth. Am I supposed to be angry at that? Would that benefit me if I was angry at this general, general leftist idea that white men are colonizers and oppressive? If I got upset at that, would that really help anything?
Or should I myself just be my best person, seek to be my my best self? That's really what I think is going on. That's what I think I should do. I should try to be my best person. But when it comes to Ye, you know, he he's going on a rampage. He was also posting porn on his Twitter. Like, he's taken this whole free speech thing to the extreme. That's really what's happening. Like, Ye's ex is extreme, and he's really been pushing the boundaries on that, which is, from my perspective, I think is interesting. Not to say that I think porn is interesting because we got clips from him on Alex Jones saying how, like, pornography is, like, is how pornography is how families fall apart. Pornography is how, like, it's unhealthy for you.
And so in 2022, I guess I was more willing to defend him because I sort of knew where he was going, and I could listen to his message. And now I'm a little lost, and I don't know if I should defend him because I can see an aspect of of where he's trying to go. But everything wrapped up, everything that he's been doing wrapped up, it just doesn't seem cohesive. It doesn't seem like it's doing something. Like so one thing that that I try to make sense of all this is that Ye has always been, like, directly, like, a symbol of the current culture.
And also he's been, like, in the future. He's been pushing culture forward. And so back in 2022, he was sort of like the first guy, in the mainstream, like, the first famous person to sort of talk crap about Israel and Netanyahu. And when he was on Alex Jones, he had he had props. He had a net, and he had had a Yahoo butt a bottle, which is like a chocolate milk. Like, he said, net and Yahoo. And And he was holding these two props up. And he was really just mocking the prime minister of Israel. And people were like, why would you do that? And now, it seems like within common culture and sort of, if you're like the cool kid in Hollywood, if you're a cool kid, you're hating on Israel.
You know? That that that's really what's going on regardless of the war. You know? I'm anti war. You know? I don't wanna pick Palestine or Israel. I wanna pick no war. I wanna pick peace. You know? Both people need to drop the bombs already. It needs to be peaceful. And if this swastika is a symbol of peace, why did Jewish people choose to keep it as a symbol of hate? If there's historical evidence within different cultures that we should, quote, unquote, respect and try to integrate into our culture, if we should try to understand other cultures, why are we as Americans not focusing on these positive symbols?
You know? I, for one, sort of want to. I wanna focus on the positive issues. I I wanna do that. If that if no one else wants to do that, I don't know why. You know, that's sort of a sign of the times, I guess, that people don't wanna focus on that. But I believe that there is there's a reason to to focus on the positivity. There's a reason to focus on healing. And that reason is for the betterment of mankind. You know, I think it would be better for mankind if if Jewish people were able to heal from their pain. You know?
I I think there's a culture within within the Jewish people and within, like, American culture, I guess. And and also, side note, for some reason, Nazis are somehow American now. Like, Ye is American. He's not German. Like, how come this symbol in America is so potent? Why is it not as potent in, like, in in where it was actually used? It's very interesting how how that happened. But if you're with someone, like like, if you're standing next to an individual and that person is hurt, you know, if they were harmed by somebody, would it be useful to continue to bring up their trauma?
You know? If you want the person next to you to heal from their pain, does it really do them any good if you keep reminding them of that pain? You know? So I I guess just, like, trying to stay a a bit vague here. Like, my sister, my younger sister, she got pregnant in 2018. You know, she was in an unhealthy relationship. And, there's a lot of turmoil in the family and a lot of I I I don't wanna say disagreements. We're all in agreement of what was going on, but the the way to move forward, you know, we were trying to to figure that out. And, eventually, that relationship ended.
And there there was pain. There was lingering pain within the whole family, you know, just because my family is my family. There was they they were all living together. There was lingering pain from this relationship, not only in my sister, but also in my greater family. And if I were to continue to bring up what happened, if I were to continue to tell my sister what she went through hey. Remember when he did this? Remember when you guys were fighting about this? Remember when we didn't know if he was gonna do that? Like, continuing to remind the person of their pain is not what you're supposed to do.
You're supposed to transform that. The person who's in pain has a responsibility. Now this is a real spiritual belief. The person who is in pain if you are in pain right now, if you have gone through trauma, you have the responsibility to transform that into greater understanding and to propel you forward. If you are angry at what I said, I'm sorry. Sorry not sorry. Like, that is how you do that. That is how you move forward. You have to take responsibility for yourself. And we're living in a culture where it seems like there is a group of people that wants other people to feel their pain.
And I think that's irresponsible, ultimately. I think in, like, 02/2009 or something, Kanye used the confederate flag for something. Like, he used the Confederate flag at at one of his at one of his, shows. Let me let me grok it. Did Kanye whoops, I can't type. Did Kanye use the Confederate flag in a show? Yeah. Twenty thirteen Yeezus tour. That's when he he wore it. And Yeezus so the album Yeezus in 2013 was all about, like like, black people. Like, it was about him being black Jesus. It was about him being Yeezus. Like, black skinhead was a controversial thing, but he was wearing the, he was wearing the confederate flag while he's singing black skinhead, which is very interesting, and he was calling it his flag.
So if the confederate flag is now his flag and the swastika is now his swastika, what does the symbol really mean? Does it really mean something evil? You know? When I see the swastika, I don't want to see it as evil. And I hope that there's a way forward for Jewish people to to not see that. You know? I was re reading this article, from this, website called Forward. It's Jewish. It's independent, and it's nonprofit, which is what it says online. There's this article from 2018 that says, why are Japanese teenagers so obsessed with swastikas? And the picture is like these two Japanese girls making, like, a silly face, and there's a bunch of swastikas around them.
And pretty much, they were saying that this Swazaka in Japan, called a manji, it means good health and fortune in Buddhism. And, these Korean girls are are using it to say cheese, Munji. When they're taking a photo. Or or I guess it can also mean high class. If you have the swastika around you or on something in your surroundings, it means high class. Very dapper. The swastika is very dapper, Cole. I love it. Can you imagine having a swastika in your house? I can't like, so okay. So I'm sort of, like, supporting what Ye is doing, but I am no way I there's I can't wear a swastika t shirt. What the fuck am I gonna do with a swastika t shirt? I'm gonna get I will get murdered. I might get lynched if I wear the swastika t shirt. Dude, that's fucking scary. I'm I'm I'm afraid enough to wear my Trump hat out in public. I wear that shit inside for a reason.
Now Ye also wore the red hat. Ye also wore his MAGA hat, and he got there's just, like there's history of Ye taking on these these, quote, unquote, racist symbols. Okay? And so maybe he has a point. Maybe in the next few years, we're gonna be wearing swastikas in the name of peace. Maybe. You know? Maybe everybody becomes a Buddhist. Maybe. You know, would would that be fun? I don't know if that's accurate. I want it to be real. It sounds fun. If everybody was wearing a swastika shirt, that sounds awesome. And everybody was, like, singing Kumbaya with a swastika. That sounds pretty awesome.
What do you think about that? Do you think this is relevant? Do you think this is good? Do you think Kanye selling something with a swastika on it is healthy for America? Is it healthy for the culture? I'm willing to say it is, and I think it it might align with America Plus. Because people need to heal, and we need to decide what certain symbols mean. Along with that, we need to choose peace and love within everything we do. If you if we as a people are actively allowing, negativity and evil to thrive within our culture, we need to find a way to transform that. We need to find a way to change that. And right now, it seems like the Jewish people are using one symbol as a form of oppression. And if you use that symbol, then you are oppressing.
But all you need to do is just research it, and there's seven thousand years of of positivity around the thing? Like, how about we do another seven thousand years of positive swastikas? Like, is that not possible? Like, I really don't like I don't like how there is a group that is controlling the narrative of this symbol. And I don't like that Hitler did this. You know? This is a bad thing Hitler did. Of course. Duh. But why are we taking Hitler's lead here? You know? That's really what the Jews are doing, in my opinion. I'm speaking out of my ass here. Why are the Jews following along with the meaning of the symbol that Hitler made?
Why? Why are you not transforming that? Why are you not why are the Jews not defying Hitler and using the swastika as a symbol of life? You know? Why are there not swastika gardens? Why are there not swastika, like, flowers? Like you know what I mean? Like, like, why are there not like, we need art pieces about the swastika. We need, like, cakes. We need swastika cakes. Like, I know that might sound I know that sounds crazy. But maybe that's what Ye is trying to do with his t shirt. Maybe the t shirt is an art piece, and the art piece is saying to heal from it, to heal from the pain.
You know? Maybe. Just maybe. But, you know, what do I know? What do I really know? Tell me what you think about that, dude. I need to know because, you know, that's just value for value, dude. Value for value is the way we're gonna get into the value for value section right now, guys, because that's really what I that's that's all I have to say about that. Value for value is the main way that America Plus is ran. This is, this is all ran by you, taught through time, talent, and treasure. I'm a big fan of Bitcoin. So if you wanna support me financially, you can send me some small sats of satoshis in the fountain app, by the way. Go to valueforvalue.info

Does that mean my stream ended, dude? Is my am I still streaming here? Yeah. I'm still streaming. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. So I'm gonna be re reading the Boostagrams from last week. We got a few here, that were from, my friend named Peeez.
My boy, Peeez. What a p oh, Pies. I keep saying Peeez. Pies. Hello, Pies. The first boost of gram from Pies, he sends in 100 Satoshis. He says, value for value. Let's fucking go. Yes, sir. Boosting is loving. And then he sends in two more. Both of these are from, from Pies and it's a both of them are 420 sats each. So that's a lot of sats, dude. He says value for value again. And then, he says, more sats for my homie, Cole. Keep up the good work, my brother. Yes, sir. Boost. Thank you so much, Pies. And then let me go to the general, I think that was it. I think that was it. That was in the last seven days. So Pies, you're my main supporter, dude. You are my main guy. Because basically, you put Bitcoin with anything, and all of a sudden, that is more efficient. Thank you to Pies, dude. Thank you to Pies. Get in on this community.
It is you it it it it's the audience that is running this show. Okay? There's no other way to do it. Value for value is, like, the main way. It's the only way that I wanna make money from me producing my art. This podcast is my art. I continue to refine the niche of the podcast, and I was actually using Grok three to refine the niche, and I updated, the, the description of America Plus if you, if you haven't checked that out yet. Let me go to oh my god. I'm so sorry. I'm yawning too much. My new niche, of America Plus is, focusing on oh, wait. Let me pull it up here on, let me pull it up. Let me pull it up.
Go to show. Share show. Wait. No. What is show? Manage splits. Go to show. What is America Plus about? This is what I'm focusing on lately. Exploring America's hopeful future through spiritual optimism and contrarian innovation. Bitcoin, soul, health, and freedom. That's what I'm trying to focus on. So that's why I'm comfortable talking about Yay. I'll be talking more about Bitcoin as well. And this whole Kanye thing is connected connected to Bitcoin as well, because Bitcoin is a symbol. You know? Some people see Bitcoin as a symbol of, like, crypto, and crypto is, like, stupid.
Some people see the symbol of Bitcoin and just think it's nonsense. You know, if you're a supporter of Bitcoin, then you see hope in the symbol. And, you know, symbols ultimately change, you know, throughout different cultures, but I believe that there's a responsibility to keep the positivity in, in these symbols. Why should we put any negativity in the symbol? You know? And so and I want America Plus to be a positive symbol. That's why I try to that's why I have this, like, American flag in the plus sign, you know? Like, that that's the symbol of America plus. Like, that is, like I think that's positive. I think that's, like, that that that can grow into something else. Or as in, like like, it can take on new meaning. It can take on a positive meaning, which I think is relevant. You know, I I think it's cool.
But yeah. But, again, thank you to all those people who wanna donate. That's value for value. If you wanna support me, send this send this episode to one friend. Send this episode to one friend or at least a clip. Share a clip online. I would love to hear what you have to think about this topic. Do you think it's irresponsible that Ye is putting a swastika on a t shirt? Do you think it could help the Jewish people? Can it help the culture at large? I believe it can, but I don't know if it will. So tell me what you think. Send this to a friend. And, if you wanna help me out with anything else, like, building a website or making some jingles, I'm looking for more jingles like this one. Bustar.
Bustar. I want more jingles for the Boostagrams. So let's make them together. Send them my way. And I'm doing my thing. We're gonna wrap it up here with a song, a value for value song. What I love to do at the end is, play a song from an independent artist, that is, that releases their music via RSS via value for value. And, well, I always give them 90% a 90% split. So if you're listening to this, there's, like, this whole, like, splitting situation, within Fountain and all the modern podcast apps where I can give them 90% of your satoshi donation. And the song I want a song I wanna play is from a, band called Jawbone.
This song is called 2,000,000,000 Heartbeats. Enjoy. That's America Plus, bitch. Stay free.

Stay free.
