Cole McCormick:
What's up, everyone? It's America Plus. I'm your host, Cole McCormick. It's another week. Another episode. What's going on, everybody? It's Sunday, March 3rd, 6 47 in the p. M. Happy to be here, folks. Happy to be here. It's a beautiful day to be alive. It's in the evening. I'm recording this in the late evening later evening, for yours truly. I've been working a lot today. I've been working a lot this past few weeks, guys. It's been a good time. I'm feeling good. It's the beginning of a new month. It's my birthday month, by the way. I turn 27 this month. I'm ready for that. My family's coming, over here, in the next few weeks. We're going to San Diego. We're going to LEGOLAND for my birthday.
You might ask, why are you going to LEGOLAND for your birthday, Cole? Isn't that for, like, little kids? And I'll say, yeah. It is. We're going to Legoland for my 5 year old nephew. So that's why, anything, any holiday, any birthday that comes up, it's now just for for Wyatt. It's just for the nephew now, which I don't mind. I don't care at all. I just wanna hang out with my fam bam, and, that's really just all I want. So I'll be in San Diego. I'll be in New York. I'll be at home. I'll be anywhere. I don't care where I'm at. As long as I'm with them, that's like number 1, you know. So I'm I'm really excited for that.
And this week guys, what I wanna talk about with this week is how I'm expanding myself. I'm planning new things for the podcast. I've referenced how we're going into phase 2. We're in phase 1.5 still. Phase 2 is when I say so. Okay? We're gonna get a new photo, a new image. It's gonna be a whole new vibe. And, pretty much what I wanna talk about is, like, this year, how have I been improving myself? How have I been expanding myself? And what are my, like, goals slash yearnings slash just like, what am I trying to do right now? And the first thing on this list is I've been learning Spanish for the last, for the last, like, couple months. I'm on a 50 day streak right now on the Duolingo app, so throw round of applause for that. 50 day streak on the app.
I'm how how how do I not know Spanish yet? How do I not know Spanish yet, dude? 50 days? Could you learn Spanish in 50 days? Has anyone ever learned a language in in in a little over 2 months, or a little under 2 months I should say? I don't think that's possible, but I've been learning Spanish. The main reason for this is I'm just trying to be more comfortable in the kitchen. So much of me working in the kitchen involves Spanish. That's just the culture, you know. That's what you're gonna get out here in Southern California. The chef is Spanish, you know, he's Mexican.
Everyone around me is Mexican, and they're always just throwing around Spanish, and the managers are not Mexican, or one of them is. But, they're not, like, involved with the food. Right? Everyone involved with the food is is speaking Spanish, and there is a very deep and close culture when it comes to people speaking Spanish, and I wanna be a part of that. And ultimately, I'm just trying to talk shit in the kitchen with everyone, because I know they're talking shit. You know they're talking shit about the managers in Spanish, man, and no one knows no one knows what they're saying unless you know what they're saying.
So I'm trying to know what they're saying. I'm trying to talk shit with my chef, not at my chef, and, that's like the main influence right now, but also, just in general, the life aspect. I know that it expands your mind when you learn a new span a new language, and I wanna expand my mind. You know? I've done mushrooms. I've done psychedelics. I wanna I wanna create new new pathways. I want more neurons in my head firing off, and that's been something that I've always just sort of avoided throughout my life. I'd learn Of course, I did some Spanish in high school, but you know, that wasn't really dedicated. I was just going I was just moving through the motions just just so I could, get the credit for graduation.
And even back then, I knew the value of it, like, I there was something in the back of my head when I was in high school, like, I know Spanish is important, but I'm just not into it right now. But now, I'm getting into it, and the Duolingo app is is super cool, super fun. I paid for the year, by the way. I paid the there was some promotion going on. I paid $60 for the year subscription, and now they're trying to get me to pay more for the AI. Like, are you shitting me, dude? Like, I don't want that at all. I I don't want the AI. Why would I want the AI? Like, why?
The AI is involving, see why the answer is this way. Check your answer. Like, silly shit like that. Like, can you just, like how about you just tell me what the answer is and why, dude? Why do I need to pay extra for that? But I'm not gonna pay extra. I'm just doing what I have, and I'm having a good time. It's it's been this daily thing. I've only been doing, like 3 to 10 minutes a day, which I know is not a lot, and I know probably puts me on the slower pace of learning a language, but, I feel like the mixture of that, like, the consistency of the app along with the the consistency in the kitchen, and just like, trying to listen in and asking questions, and also just, absorbing media.
Before I hit record today, I was, driving to the store, and I was listening to Spanish music. And I know that that's how a lot of people learn a language. They listen to the music, they watch shows, you know, that's always a story of people usually, the the story is, like, people learning English from American television. And so let's just flip that script a little bit, you know. Let's watch some Spanish Netflix shows, you know. Let's watch a Spanish movie with the subtitles, and just try to try to understand what's going on. You know? And that's a challenge.
That's a challenge for me, and, I'm dedicated on it. You know? I'm not in the mindset to quit, and this is all coming off the heels of me not smoking weed anymore, and so I'm really just trying to fill my time with not smoking weed. I'm trying to just be a bit more productive. I thought I was productive on on weed, but now I'm really trying to be productive with no weed. So I know Kyran speaks Spanish. My friend Kyran, another great podcaster in Australia, he speaks fluent. I think he speaks fluent Spanish, or at least enough to sound as if he's fluent, but he's an inspiration for me for sure. So shout out to Kyron. Maybe you and I can do a Spanish podcast sometime.
That that'd be hilarious. Right? 2 white guys doing a speaking Spanish on a podcast. That'd be good. Good times there. Does anyone know Spanish? Does anyone have any tips for me? Like, what what what did you do, when you were learning a new language? Did something really help you? Because I feel like listening to music and watching TV and trying to just, like, ask my coworkers more questions about it. I feel like that's my path, but if you have another another avenue, you know, please send that my way either through a boostagram or, through a message on Twitter or Facebook, whatever.
Just give me that info because I need it. I need it, brother. And that takes me to what I wanna do more of. Like, what else am I doing with with the show, with myself? What am I really passionate about? You know, that that that's something that that I've really been honing into. Last week, I talked about movies, and I talked about AI taking over Hollywood, and I'm I was like rethinking my career, which is insane, by the way. The last week if you heard last week, and it sounded like I was quitting Hollywood. It sounded like I was quitting movies or something. Last week, I I just got in my head last week, dude. I really just, like I was freaking out, and I didn't know what to do. When I go through these, I'll just call them canyons. Like, I go through these canyons of doubt, and I'm, like, am I really worth it? Am I really good enough? Am I really talented? Am I really am I just, just stupid? Like, am I stupid? Like, why am I even doing this? Am I just weak?
Like, I get these really, like, negative feelings about my dreams and about what I want, and I don't know how because I don't know the exact full path of how to get there, I can get really down on myself, and last week was like, I had a little bit of a moment like that, and I'm moving through that this week. And, I continue to think about what I'm passionate about. If I wanna make a movie, if I wanna tell stories, what am I really interested in? What do I know? You know, whenever you're researching writing, they always say, write what you know. And so me as an artist, me as a storyteller, what story do I know?
And a lot of the stories that I've told so far within my short films is, you know, it's a bit autobiographical. And one thing that I can't shut the fuck up about is raw milk. I can't stop talking about raw dairy, and like, even to my coworkers, like, I I always bring it up to them. I'm always bringing it up. One reason because I always have it on me, like, I I have this, like, giant not giant, but I have this, like, 20 plus ounce, water bottle. This, like, 10 water bottle that keeps it hot and cold, and, I always bring it's, like, it equals out to, like, 2 and a half cups. Right? Or yeah. Yeah. Like, 2 and a half cups of milk. I'm pouring 2 and a half cups of raw milk in this thing, and I'm bringing it to work. And then I'm pouring it in my coffee at work, and I'm and they're like, Cole, what are you doing? And I'm like, oh, it's my milk. And they just laugh at me, like, they're just new. Like, you're funny Cole, like, you bring milk to work. I'm I'm a little baby I guess. I'm a little baby boy. Baby Coli with with this bottle of milk.
But it it's it's what sustains me throughout the day. Okay? I don't really eat a lot when I'm at work. Even though I work at a restaurant, you don't really eat a lot when you work at a restaurant. Spoiler alert. And so I need something to just like just something to satiate me. You know? And, the raw milk's helped me out with that, but I can't shut up about it, and I'm more and more interested about it. I keep making Instagram posts about it. I keep just posting about it. I keep trying to get people on onto it, and I know people are listening to me.
I know people hear me because I have so much passion in my voice. I have so much and I and I I do have legitimate information. I link to legitimate science, and I think there's been heavy manipulation within the dairy world, and the world's population. And so that's one thing that I'm trying to do, and, or trying to move move further into somehow. Just a brief side note. Last week when I talked about raw milk, that was coming off the back end of this, a a a, illegitimate recall on on the main raw dairy farm in California. There is an illegitimate recall on the cheddar cheese from Raw Farms, that's in Fresno, California.
The FDA tried to shut this farm down because they said e coli was in the cheese, and like 4 different entities did testing on it, and there was 0 pathogens in the cheese. And so they really had zero information, to to to implement the recall, and then they had also zero evidence to justify the recall. And, I didn't know that talking about last week, like, I did the podcast, and then I found out about the recall right after I published it. And I was like, what the hell dude? Like, what the fuck is this? Like, what's the FDA doing? And I did this big post, and it didn't get a lot of views, but it got like over 2,000, like 25100 views. My my videos on Instagram don't usually get 2,000 views, and I know that I wanna do like more health stuff, more more fitness, and more health, like more food stuff, and just trying to figure out what can I do with that?
And I'm talking to my coworker, Matt, and he's like, Cole, dude. You gotta do something with this, dude. You gotta, like, lean in lean deeper in it. The good thing about my coworkers is that they're really supportive of me. They're that, like, these these are really good guys, and they really wanna see the best in me, and I wanna see the best in them. And I was like, yeah, man. I know. Like, I gotta do more in it dude. I gotta do more. And then and then there was a pause. And then I said, what if I did, like, a documentary? And then my friend, Matt, goes, dude, tell me why I was just thinking that, bro. Like, what?
And I was like, yeah, man. I gotta do this documentary. Like, I I would so love to, like, talk to the farmers. I wanna travel around. I wanna try to get more information on the situation, you know, like because when you research the subject raw dairy and raw milk online, just on YouTube, you're gonna get some news clips and the news of course the news is the news. The news is propaganda. The news fear mongering. The news is, ridiculous. You can't really trust it, and then you're gonna get, some other people that you might get some Paul Saladino videos, you might get well, the main thing that you're gonna get is, these like really interestingly edited videos that are, like, scary. Like, there's, like, scary music, and they're, like, really they're edited like a a crime documentary, or some true crime thing, and which is which makes for an interesting video on YouTube and I'm watching these things.
But when it comes to the subject, what I'm interested in is getting people intrigued to try the product. And so it would be interesting if there was a documentary that that a, showcased the independence and the tenacity of the dairy farmers who farm raw dairy, and to also be honest about about the laws, and to be somewhat objective about about the situation, but in reality like there's no way I can be subjective with it because or I I can be objective with it, I should say. Documentaries, you know, the history of documentaries are has always been, you know, it should be objective, But the reality of it is it's pretty subjective. There's a lot of heavy editing going into every single documentary you see on Netflix. There's a lot of editing, and there's a lot of emotional manipulation.
And so, I'm wondering if I can do something similar, but also present facts. One fact in particular is that the the selling of raw dairy between states in the US, the selling of that between states was made illegal in 1987. And so that's not that long time ago, you know? That's, like, 30 some years ago. And you gotta look into, like, why, and you gotta look into, like, well, what were they really stopping? And I would love to just go into the locality of of raw dairy. And, like, right now, right at the bat, I see this story pointing towards community oriented food, and that is a huge answer. It's one of the biggest answers I see when it comes to healing the health of America. So many people in America are fat. So many people in America are inflamed.
So many people have gut issues, and I firmly believe that raw milk, raw dairy products can be a solution for the individual who has inflammation ailments. Because personally, it has helped me And I just wanna get people intrigued in the topic. Because if you're just, like, ask around, like, not too many people really have a strong opinion on it. It's just milk. You know? It's just something it's it's just milk. But they don't really know the difference, and you they don't really understand. Like like, people don't really know what the pasteurization is. People don't really know what the homogenization process, does to the milk.
And I can speak it on a podcast, sure, but there needs to be a larger media about that. There needs to be like a like a big cast out, like a big signal just talking about the process, just being honest about the process, and how and, ultimately, my position is industrialized foods are unhealthy. You know what I mean? It doesn't even have to be about like raw dairy is amazing. It's just the sheer fact that anything made for the masses on a consistent basis is going to skew more unhealthy because they are going to create a process that either preserves something or changes something within that product, so that it can be shelf stable for a longer amount of time.
And, you know, that in itself is unhealthy, you know. They always say to eat fresh fruits, but, you know, you got tomatoes year round. You got blueberries year round, you you know, and I'm guilty of of of doing some of that, you know, like I eat blueberries every single day. It doesn't matter if they're fresh or not. I'm always buying the the the frozen berries, But I also see that milk and dairy products are a really clear example of how it is, like, unfresh. You know, there's really no fresh pasteurized milk. There's no fresh pasteurized cheese, you know. There might be cheese heads. You know, there might be you might have an opinion on some on some cheddar or on some pepper jack, but I think the real flavor is in, like, the the rawness. You know? The real goodness is in the rawness.
And that's just my opinion, but I'm thinking about, like praying about, and like like trying to imagine what would this documentary be like. I would love to speak with, with Raw Farms out here in California. I'm actually doing a camping trip with them. They're they're they're do they're doing this event called Camping with Cows, and Shannon's excited for it. She is hyped as fuck for it. We're literally gonna be camping with the cows. And we're and there's gonna be like a bonfire, and we're gonna have, like, s'mores, and we're gonna have, like, they're gonna have all their all their raw products out there, and we're gonna be able to hang out. And, I was following following the Instagram, and and the main girl, the wife who who who helps run it, she's like, we're we're gonna give you all the juicy behind the scenes, craziness. Like, we're gonna tell you about all the crazy stories that we've lived through. I'm like, oh, like, let's do it. I wanna hear the juicy stories, and, I'm really excited for that. So maybe I I can talk to them. That's in April, but also to just establish more of a relationship with them because that goes into the locality to shake your farmer's hand, to know where your food comes from.
This is an important thing in life, and I feel compelled to move deeper into that. I really do. So, we'll see where that goes, man. I, I just wanna do it. I just wanna try to figure out how can I lean deeper into that? So I'm not sure when the documentary will come out. Is it a docuseries? Is it on Netflix? Dude, I don't fucking know. I don't have that connections yet. All I know is that I want to tell the story of raw dairy. That's all I know. And my own personal story because I wasn't drinking milk for 7 years. I was on almond milk, and my gut health was terrible. And then I find this raw stuff, and all of a sudden, like, I feel good.
My poops are good, my stomach is good, and my acne, I don't have acne because of it. Like, I was getting a ton of acne because of the pasteurized milk. Like, I just have my own experience, and I wanna try to express that and go deeper into it, man. So tell me what you think of that. The next thing I wanna go into is, the podcast. The podcast itself. When it comes to the podcast I'm still doing the podcast, of course. The podcast is forever. America Plus is gonna go on for a very long time, but something has come up, in the podcasting 2 point o space that I wanna bring to the audience's attention, and I need some help. I need some advice, from you right now.
There's options that I have, and I wanna gauge your opinion and your viewpoint on what might be the best route, for me. Because I feel like the audience is gonna be a real, the real marker here. So long story short, within the Podcasting 2 point o realm, we've done so they've ex they've reinforced RSS for podcasting. They've expanded RSS feeds for music, and that's happening now, and I'll be playing the music later on, and the next thing happening, and it's just being discussed, audiobooks. They're discussing Adam Curry, and Dave Jones, and and other people have been talking about excuse me.
Audiobooks audiobook podcast. And the biggest thing that was, like, spoken about was doing, like, public domain readings. Read a public domain book as an audio book podcast, and do that value for value. And I just wanted to get your opinion on that. Like, what do you think about that? I spoke with Kyron a little bit, and Kyron was really hyping me up. Him and I sort of had like the same, like Him and I had the same like ding ding ding, because, this is all coming from the podcasting 2.0 podcast, and Adam Curry mentioned it on there, and I guess me and Karen had like the same, like, both of our heads just like perked up a little bit, and meaning like he thought that I would be really good at it. I thought I would be really good at it, but I'm not dead certain on reading and reading a book, because I've never really been a reader.
And so I'm interested in using my voice to expand value for value, and to have another podcast myself, but I don't know if audiobooks is is the right way to go. Chiron then suggested I could do like poems, public domain poems, and just do, like, little, like, quick bits, you know. And then my idea the 3rd idea that I have that I wanna present is original stories. What if I did another and we could do value for value that way. So I would love to get your take on that. Do you read a book? Do you like listening to books? Are you interested in hearing a public domain book reading?
Because first of all, I don't even know what I what what would I even read, like, I don't even read much. Like, I I of course, I listen to audiobooks, but I'm listening to, like, self development. I'm listening to, like, nonfiction a lot of the times. Like, I don't really listen to fiction. Maybe I could read fiction for the audience if that's what you want, but I'm leaning into the original stories personally. I did this thing, last year. I've shared it before a little bit, but I did this thing that the short story called A New Day, and I'm trying to find it right now on my, on my iTunes.
But pretty much like it was a short story that I wrote. I used AI to help me out, and pretty much, like, I had a really great time with it. I had a really good time with it. Here it is. A new day. How's the people to use their power in their hand each of them had ever felt year void detection so far. So, like, it was 7 minutes that was only a matter of It was 7 minutes, and I really like I did, like, a pro a really professional a really professional voice, and I did some characters. Hello, John. Hello. And I I I I really try to do it, and I had a fun time with it, but I didn't know where to go with it. I thought it was gonna be, some substack, but that, you know, that that was a week.
That was a week interest, and then I just, like, dropped off like like usual. But when it comes to doing a real podcast, a value for value original stories podcast, would that intrigue you? Would you be interested in that? It might be once a week, it maybe it's twice a week, you know, depends on the length, depends on what I put into it. It took me like, it only took me like 6 hours to do to do that first story. So I could totally do that like twice a week maybe, But I wanna expand myself, and so I would love to hear your opinion on what you're interested in. If you're interested in more original stories for me, if you're interested in hearing public domain readings, or poems, or inspirational stuff, What is another way that you would like to enjoy my voice?
If any If any. And if it's just this podcast, then it's just this podcast. But I'll tell you right now, I'm interested in expanding myself. I'm interested in doing more with podcasting, and value for value for that matter. Like, value for value is the way. And if there's any opportunity for me to do something in Hollywood, and with like producers, and money, and actually to have maybe like some sort of movie theater experience, or some sort of, like, independent film experience, you know, it it would make sense to me, just from my point of view if it begun as a podcast.
If the story that I'm telling as a movie begun as a short story, So that's like loosely where my head is at as well. Like maybe this this new podcast could sort of get the ball rolling for the stories that I wanna tell, and how do I really tell the stories. Because podcasting is, like, the only example of, like, a person having full autonomy over their work. And so I'm just leaning into that, you know. My my instinct is to or part of my instinct is to go or or original stories, but I also just I would love to hear the audience point of view, man. Just please, please tell me what you think of that.
I really value your opinion. I really do, man. So Yeah. That that's like pretty much it guys. When it comes to the value, we're gonna head on into the value for value section, the boostograms, folks. America Plus is a value for value show. What that means is I put the value upfront, I present interesting ideas, I give intriguing topics to discuss, and then you reciprocate that value through 4 different ways. Through listening, sharing, clipping, and boostagramming. Okay? Listening and sharing, you know, the just those two things by themselves, like those are important to me. Thank you for listening. Share this. Talk about this with your friends. Talk about the subjects. Send them the the the link.
That those two things are as valuable as money. Clip the show, if you're on the fountain dot f m app Go to value for value dot info for more info, then download the fountain dot f m app. It's the best way to support the show. Fountain has this awesome clipping feature where you can clip any podcast you want and then you can post it anywhere. So do that, or if you wanna just do like a screen record of the show, do that as well. But clipping is super important. I'm trying to put more clips out there as well. And then and then boostagramming.
Boosts boosts. Go to that. Boosting is loving. Boosting is loving, guys. What is a boostagram? This is where you're in a modern podcast app like fountain.fm. There's a bunch of others, Podcast Guru, Podverse, and you can send in small bits of Bitcoin with a message, and this is how you reciprocate the value that you are receiving. You can tell me what you think, you can, tell me I'm wrong, you can just tell me that that that that we vibe, and that you like my stuff. But without further ado, I'm gonna be reading the boostograms from last week. I got, I got a few here.
The first one comes in from our friend, Kyren at Mere Mortals podcast. He sends in his regular 1,111¢. He says, so last week I was talking about, you know, AI movies, yadayada. Do I need a do I need to be an electrician? That's the question I was asking last week. Do I need to change careers and be be a fucking journeyman, and and and bring power to people's homes? Kyron was responding to that, and he says, I don't imagine you really need to make any big decisions right now. Movies will still be around for a while, but they will change as you've already noted. I made a bunch of money doing, doing something I was ambivalent, about.
It was great for me, but this was before I found my true passions. I'd only recommend a trade if it allows you to pursue your dream of directing movies or or creating. So if you find one that lets you work less, than the kitchen and pays better, do it. But a 4 year, apprenticeship, yeah. You're right. Bustar. Bustar. Kyron, you're so right on that. Yeah. When it comes to, like, all the research of being an electrician, like, I just got so bored with it. I felt like I was in school again. I'm just like, I don't wanna like, this is annoying. This is boring. I don't wanna do this. It was interesting to hear them talk about the money, like, they make good money, but just like to go, like, to go through it, like, oh my God. Like, I don't think I'm into that.
Even though I would do anything else than chopping potatoes, when it comes to a career, is electrician good for me? I don't I don't know, man. Maybe maybe if God maybe if there's, like, a literal hand that picked me up and put me in front of the job, maybe I would do it. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. So, Kyra, thank you very much. Boost. Next one comes in for a Matt Joel w. He sends in a satchel of Richards, 1,111 sats. You can send in any number, by the way, guys. Any number, big or small. It's about the numerology. What's a number that represents you? He says and he's talking about milk here, raw milk.
He says, even raw, there are many who cannot handle dairy. That's true. But f the haters. Yes, sir. If it works for you, then that's all that matters. And the goat milk being easier to digest is valid. Cow is better in my opinion. Goats don't have that thick cream layer, and a good raw cow milk does, but still good. Makes amazing cheese. You're totally right, Joel. And, now, as the French say, it is time for Le Boost. Yeah. I prefer cow milk. I've had goat's milk before, but I don't think I've had raw goat's milk. Whenever I've had raw goat's milk, I think it's been pasteurized. So I gotta find a good a good, like, goat alternative.
You know, I would love to just have access to all the raw milks, like, can we please just have that? Like, why do I need to like, why do I feel like I'm stuck with 1 animal, dude? It's either the animal, like, this one single farm, or it's the soy and the almond milk. Like, can I just have more animals to choose from, please? That's my wish. And then this last one comes in from Joel w again, another satchel of Richards, but this one's different. I only got, 40% of this boostagram because he says, this is a damn good song. Yes, sir. It's basically you put Bitcoin with anything, and all of a sudden, that is more efficient. I got 40% of that, and the the the musician, that Joel was boosting to, he got 60%.
Last week was, Sora Soda. He had this amazing he he's from Tokyo, had this legit song. So Joel, I'm happy you like that song. I'm always trying to play, like, innovative music. I wanna play new music. I wanna play young music. Like that's the that's the vibe that I have. When it comes to the music by the way, I'm always giving the artist a 60% split, and I also have a new playlist on fountain.fm. So go to the fountain app, go to my profile. I made a music playlist, called Heard on America Plus, and it's all the music that I've played so far, and I'm I'm updating it every week with the songs, and you can just hear it, and you can boost them, and you can enjoy that yourself.
And, yeah. That's, those are the boostagrams everybody. Thank you so much again to everyone who who donated. Amazing. Amazing. That's value for value. That's powerful. That's some powerful shit right there. The fact that we're getting artists and musicians paid through a podcast, that's revolutionary, dude. That is mega revolutionary, and I'm I'm happy that America Plus is innovating. I'm on the bleeding edge dude. Like, no one knows what I'm doing. It's like, people know I'm a podcaster, but no one really understands the system I'm in. A quick side story at work, there's this actor.
I don't think I wanna say her name because, like, I don't know. I just don't wanna say her name, but, she's, she's on a show on Hulu. Okay? And, she's, like, tough, you know, like, she's, like, like, she can, like, stab you, like, she can, like, like, she she she can jab you with like a with a joke, and that's sort of like our relationship, or like like the kitchen's relationship, you know, like, everyone's sort of shitting on each other. And, I've sent her some of my short films and stuff, and she's been super cool. And a few days ago, she comes in and my friend, Matt, he goes, oh, here comes our celebrity.
What up? And, you know, we're always just trying to hype her up. And I decided to go the other way. I was like, oh, dude, I dude, I I just canceled my Hulu subscription for this wack show, dude, and then I mentioned her show. I'm like, dude, this show's wack, dude. I had to cancel Hulu. Donezo, dude. No more Hulu for me. And then this girl, she goes, oh, at least I have a career outside of this kitchen. And everyone just, like, went wild after that, even me. And I was like, damn. Fuck. She got me. Fuck. And then, like, right after I was like, I've been doing a podcast for 2 years. And, like, no one, like, said anything. Like, no one said, like, no one reacted to that. No one reacted to me doing a podcast for 2 years because no one really cares about me doing a podcast for 2 years. But, I'm literally on the edge of the Internet. I'm on the edge of innovation here. We're getting musicians paid, dude.
Like, that's that's the real benefit, man. And I was like, shit. She got me. And then I was like, shit. They how do I they they don't know the value of this. They don't know the value of value for value. So I gotta do a better job at explaining that to them. But people just don't pay attention. People don't know anything about Bitcoin. They don't know anything about podcasting. All they know is that I talk online. That's all they know. But, regardless, I wanna wrap it up with a song right now, guys. America Plus is, we're always gonna play a song at the end of the episode. This song today is from a new, a new person that I just found today. Her name is oh, first of all, she's Colombian. That's why I was speaking Spanish.
Her name is Val Ramirez. She's from Colombia. She has an amazing song called, what what is this? Pasido Pasido Pasido. Pasido Pasido from Val Ramirez, everybody. Full disclosure, it is a Spanish song, but don't be worried about the lyrics, man. Be just be worried about the music. Does the music move you? Does the music fill your soul, brother? Come on now. Pesato Pesato, everybody. Come on now. From Val Ramirez, enjoy.
