Oh, I'm hyped today, man. I'm hyped. I'm hyped. I'm hyped. I'm energized. I'm ready. I people, I have clips. I have stories. I have messages. I have a mission. This week It's a totally new week. I have amazing things to talk about. I have big things to discuss. A little bit on last week real quick. Last week I had Daddy Nat on. Anybody listen to Daddy Nat last week? Daddy Nat was awesome.
Shout out shout out to Daddy Nat, man. Shout out to daddy. That he was awesome. He was a great guest. I couldn't be eat I couldn't be happier, to have him on. Go back to last week if you haven't heard that yet. I'll talk about the repercussions of last week towards the end of the episode. What I wanna talk about now guys, I have What I have today to share is really big news. Really, really, like, monumental, like, Just new changes, new vibes. Throughout this course of this week, on Friday night specifically, I made the choice. Now this is a big choice.
On Friday night of this week, I made the choice to Stop smoking cannabis. Wait. What? Good. There we go. I'm sorry. Ice, Friday night, I made the choice to stop smoking weed. Are you serious Cole? What are you talking about? Why? Who? What? You're always high during the podcast. Why are you not Why'd you stop? Why am I stopping? I need to open up real Honestly, I need to to discuss this, because this is a topic that ever since I've been smoking so I started smoking weed when I was 20. I'm or the first time I did it, I was 19. I'm turning 27 this year, and it's Weed has always been a positive experience for myself.
And whenever it came to negative narratives about marijuana, I first of all, I didn't really listen, because I wasn't when I was a kid and I heard it, I wasn't interested in it. Nothing about it, Like, excited me or got me interested. You know? And when I started using it, you know, it was mainly just out of curiosity. The first time I ever smoked, I didn't even smoke. I actually use I I I puffed my buddy's vape pen. So maybe that's not the best experience, but it definitely got me super high. And after that, you know, I just I started reconnecting with other friends who smoke weed, and before you knew it, I was, you know, wake and bake. Just doing my thing, getting high before work, rolling into work, with a pretty good buzz, and, for the last 7 for the last 7 years, I've been Really just, like, on that same routine, you know, a normal routine for me is to wake up around, like, 7 ish, and then And so if I have the day off, I might wait wait a couple hours before I smoke. I'm if I wake up at 7, I might smoke around 9:9 AM.
And that's been just a common thing for me, and I really got used to being functional while while I'm high. And it's just changing. It's just changed. You know? The the feelings that I have While I'm high, have been changing. And I've been trying to make a change in my life. And Everything every other time that I had smoked, you know, if it's positive, what that meant for me back then Was that it was helping me calm down. It was helping me think through my problems. In certain circumstances, it helped me, Like, to think about a different perspective of a problem, it helped me be easier to forgive people.
It helped me sleep along with that. Like, that was a really big thing for me as well. I I really just needed help sleeping. I ever since I was a little kid, I've always had a I've always had much trouble falling asleep at night, and, like, being able to fall asleep after you smoke a joint, you know, that's It's incredible. Like, the first few years, you know, like, of of smoking and and and going to bed, and, like, you're just passed out, Dude, like, you're just knocked out, and people search for that. I was searching for that. And it's you know, the last 7 years has just been a big education of marijuana and and the effects on the body, and my experience working at the dispensary out here in SoCal Really in informed my my opinions, and I was able to see what the industry was. You know? I was able to see what the marketplace For for weed and cannabis was and it really opened my eyes to to this concept of, like, oh, people are, Like, addiction is real, and people are definitely, like, addicted to a to a lot of things.
Even though, like, They say marijuana is not addictive. You know, it so many things in the world are not addictive, But you can be addicted to going to the movies. You can be addicted to, doing anything. Right? Like you it is possible to become obsessed with a particular thing that you do, or consume, And I'm not at this point, I'm not willing to say that I was addicted to weed, because I just dropped it. I dropped it cold turkey. It's like day 2 right now. I've had tolerance breaks, you know, so in the weed world, You do what's called tolerance breaks, and it's usually like a week or 2 weeks off, and you just stay away from weed, And then the purpose for that is for that you can bring your tolerance down, and then when you start consuming again, You can have less, you know? Because people, like, there is a tolerance that's built up.
And for myself, You know, I was, when I was at the dispensary, you know, I I think I was more addicted when I was working at the dispensary than I Am right now, because I was smoking a lot. I was vaping all the time. I was consuming all the gummies, all the pills, all the capsules, whatever, And, you know, you justify it by saying that you work there, and you need to sample the products. But I chose to let leave. You know? I I I I chose to leave that world because I that world was not Serving me. That that system was not, you know, it wasn't benefiting me. I was getting I was being stolen from from that system, and and It really put a sour taste in my mouth when it came to weed, you know. Ever since I left the dispensary, you know, it's always been I went back to this, pattern of just, like, getting the cheapest weed, just being functional with it, just Getting high because I usually get high at this time of the day, and I like to relax.
I wanna unwind. I like unwinding at the end of the day, you know? And, you know, just working, you know? I'm not sure what it's like in In other places, you know, I I only have the experience of working in Arizona and California, but, You know, after work, it's pretty common to smoke a joint with your friends no matter where you are. And that's the same out here in California. Me working at roast Chris in the kitchen. You know, it's pretty common to smoke a joint with my friends after the shift and just, like, Decompress a bit, talk shit about what you need to talk shit about, and then you just go home, you know? And then you smoke another bowl.
And Lately, in the last 3 months, it's been just increasingly More stressful smoking, like getting high has been just a lot more stressful for myself, and what I was going through Is I I figured out for I I started to to realize that I would have a good day at work, And then I would smoke with my friends, and on the car ride home, I would feel weird. I would feel bad. I wouldn't feel the best, And I would think to myself, like, am I in a bad mood? Like, why am I upset right now? Why do I feel upset? Today was good. Nothing bad happened. Nobody was rude to me. We had I didn't get in an argument with anyone. I'd like, nothing negative, but why am I why do I feel negative?
And I started to just, like, think about, like, what if it's the weed? What if weed is making me feel this way? And Or and and along with that, what is the weed trying to show me? What is the weed telling me? You know? Because when you're, like, a If you're a person who seeks, lessons and answers, you know, you're you're always gonna try to put a lesson on the experience. So I'm trying to So I'm thinking to myself, what is the weed trying to tell me? What's the weed showing me? And what I figured out was that When I smoke weed, there's a I have a tendency to dwell on, imaginary Negative situations.
And I'm a person who wants to manifest a good life. I wanna manifest A healthy, balanced, clear life, you know. I want success. I want, you know, I've said all this, you know. I wanna make the big movies. I want the home. I want the family. I want I want the big podcast. I want the money. I want, like, everything that is beneficial. I want that for me. And, you know, when it comes to manifesting, you know, if you ever do any research in that, and not even that word don't even focus on that word manifest, You know? Whatever you want in life, you know, if you want anything positive in your life, you have to move towards more positive Behaviors and more positive thoughts.
You can't I I I'm not sure how it's possible to be a negative person, and to see the downside or to expect sadness around every corner, and then you're still successful. I don't Understand how that could be a thing. And I realized that when I smoke, I'm like, imagining like bad scenarios. And when I imagine these bad scenarios, because I have a creative mind, I can, like, I make the movie in my head, you know. I make the I play out the scene to, like, a really far out emotional state, and sometimes that would come Mostly it would come about in, like, fighting with my girlfriend, you know. I'm I'm I'm imagining some imaginary fight with my girlfriend, even though it's literally not reality.
Every day with my girlfriend is pretty much pretty pretty chill, really nice, but when I get high it's like we're fighting. It's like some insane fight in a Netflix movie. And I figured that out, man, and I was, like, damn. Like, that is that's rough. And I started seeing just, like, these small narratives of people talking shit about weed, talking down to marijuana, you know, and I might have, like, a tendency to, like, to defend weed, you know, because I don't subscribe to any fearful narratives, you know. If, During the during these conversations, you know, someone can bring up how it's, like, unhealthy, or someone can just say it's bad, you know, and And I might respond with, show me the bodies.
Show me how many families have been broken apart because of cannabis. You know, and just doing having that sort of an argument about it, but when I look into myself, You know, this is really a journey of myself. I only have my choices. It's not about following some data points. It's not about falling in line with some with some philosophy, you know? Like, I wanna I'm trying to make the best choices for myself. I want myself to be balanced, and the thing that pushed me over the edge was this clip that I have right here. I was on YouTube, you know, I spend most of my time on YouTube, and, this is podcast.
This guy, he was, I forget this guy's name, but he used to be on the Logan Paul podcast, whatever. Long story short, he has his own podcast, and I saw a clip, And he was interviewing here's a big name. He was interviewing Andrew Tate. Anyone were did anyone know Andrew Tate? Hang on. Andrew Tate. Very serious. Andrew Tate. I was never, like, involved. I was never a big fan of Andrew Tate when he was coming up, you know. I've only just seen Some clips of podcasts and some some interviews. Not really, like I'm not really his demographic, you know? But I see this clip With Andrew Tate on this podcast, and the host, he started discussing his use of marijuana, and the purpose of, of why he likes doing it, and and what it helps him with, and he asks Andrew Tate, if he should just drop it completely.
Yeah. So here's the first clip. Just just hear this conversation. It's 45 seconds. I think it's
[00:14:17] Unknown:
interesting. Is my break, because my brain just goes off. Yep. So at night, I like to unwind and smoke a little bit. Should I just give it up completely?
[00:14:25] Unknown:
Completely. Just go through the of it, or should I teach myself moderation of it? You said it stops your brain working at a 1000 miles an hour. Yeah. That's a gift. Why would you wanna turn your brain off? Think about the thoughts you haven't had. Think about you haven't done that you could have done. Why do you wanna relax and chill so badly? Why do you want your brain working on optimum efficiency all the time? Why don't you read the dictionary? Learn another language. Why don't you start another business? Why do you wanna chill? That's But first You don't chill, dude? Never. So that's the first thing you have to do is analyze. I don't understand why you want it. I want to unwind. It is my time to unwind. So, for example, if I'm playing
[00:15:01] Cole McCormick:
To win. To win. You have to destroy your enemies. Oh. Dude, like, I saw that, and I was, like, Damn. That makes sense. Like, that makes sense to me, man.
[00:15:13] Unknown:
And it was this part right here. Like, this part really got me right here.
[00:15:17] Unknown:
To win. To win. It's a battle. You have to destroy your enemies.
[00:15:22] Cole McCormick:
That's hilarious to me, and it's real. It's real. They're talking about Fortnite, But, like, you gotta be on it. If you choose to be in a battle, it would make sense to make sure that your mind is operating efficiently. And it was the clear sign. I was like, yeah. You know, like, what I want in my life, The battles that I've discussed, the scenarios that I am aware of in this world, the scenarios that I'm aware of in this universe, My beliefs of where humanity is, you know, like this is it's getting more and more real. It's just it's getting more and more serious on earth.
And, you know, I I I have that realization of me dwelling on on negativity, And when it comes to to manifesting things in life, if you dwell on something, that means that you're giving more energy to it. So I was when I get high, I am literally giving more energy or at least I have a tendency to give more energy To the negativity. And I wrote down in my notes, like, the the that is the exact opposite thing that I'm trying to do. The exact opposite thing. What I'm trying to do is To win. To win. It's a battle. You have to destroy your enemies. I wanna destroy my Enemies. That's, that's gonna do a book I've been reading, man. I I I got I got this book from this, another podcaster, Patrick Bet David. He put out a book in 2023 called, Choose Your Enemies Wisely.
And it's a business book, you know, it's It's, just talking about, like, how to, like, how to be aggressive in business, how to be smart, how to be how to plan for a successful business, whatever. And in that book, he sort of orients he, what's orientates? He sort of Organizes, how you should be thinking about, you know, your goals for your business, and you should have, like, An an enemy. You know? Like a clear spoken of enemy that you can actually attack with your business, with your products, with your narratives, with your brand.
And, so just like the word enemy is is dots connecting. You know, and so that's what I was seeing. And the the clip just pushed me over the edge, honestly. Like, it it it made me just It just cleared my mind. And this past Friday is when I was like, damn. You know, I I really need to just just drop it. And so I put my bong away, I put my bong up in the cabinet. I put my grinder up in the cabinet, and, you know, I'm I'm no longer smoking weed. I'm not sure how long that's gonna go 4. I don't really have a time frame, and you know, I'm If I'm at a party and there's weed, you know, I might smoke, but like I I don't know when I'm gonna be at a party.
So I'm I'm really just not I'm not worried about Smoking weed again, you know I'm not really afraid of that, but in terms of me living in my apartment, in terms of my immediate living space, you know I'm I don't want any weed right now, and maybe this is good for you, maybe this is good for the audience, you know, like, is anyone else feeling, Like, off? Or is is anyone else feeling a bit unbalanced and feeling like they need to change something in their lives? Because I realized that, like, the thing in front of me, the the we that's right in front of me, like, that is even if it's doesn't lead to something amazing and a perfect, like, it's not like I'm gonna drop weed and my life becomes amazing all of a sudden, but In terms of changing behavior, I realized that the weed in front of me is one real way that I can change, And I made that choice, and I feel confident with it. I feel really confident with it.
I'm still doing mushrooms, Of course. Why not? Why not do some mushrooms, man? I did some I I I'm doing micro doses mainly. I'm doing a micro dose. I'm taking Point 1 grams or 10 milligrams. If you're familiar with microdosing, I just have I have the raw mushrooms, so I'm just grinding them up and Just taking them with some water or coffee. I'm doing a one day on, 2 day off protocol. I'm getting that protocol from Paul Stamets, The mushroom guy, the mushroom scientist. If you if you have any other information about microdosing, you know, and if because that is, like, the main microdosing is, like, now my main Drug. The mushroom it's mushrooms and coffee now.
I'll have coffee every day, mushrooms every few days, the goal is to just have a more clear mind, and a more balanced body. A more I want a more balanced and clear life. You know? And so I I think this is the good good move. This is my instinct. I gotta trust my instincts, and, you know, we'll see where we go from there, man. So I hope this is, like, encouraging you a little bit. Like, I I wasn't really sure how people might react to this, you know, like, how many how many people out there are smoking weed all the time, You know? And do you feel like you need to be a higher version of yourself, you know?
That's how I feel. How I'm feeling right now is I want to be the best version of myself, and I see myself as a leader, and I'm aware of a lot of problems in the world, and I'm trying to be a solution. I'm trying to help the solutions. So maybe this helps, man. Maybe this helps. That leads me to so that was on Friday night. This leads me to Saturday, yesterday. Okay? So this is where the story comes in. That was a lot of stories this week. So the first day so sat Saturday was the 1st official day that I'm not smoking, and I'm like, I'm really focused. I'm on it, And, I'm at work, just chopping potatoes, doing my thing, cutting the brussels sprouts, and it was a good day, and I tell my friends, like, hey, like, this is the situation, and all my friends were really supportive. You know, they were positive about it, and, you know, some of them had even spoken about doing the same thing. You know, just because, like like, they're just feeling it too, and so I got a lot of encouragement from my friends.
And it it made me happy, you know, because anytime when I express myself, and positivity comes back to me. That's you know, it's confirmation, and A part of me likes to think that that it's love coming back to me. It's God coming back to me. It's God speaking back to me through my friends, you know? And hopefully, I can connect deeper to God, connect deeper into my soul, understand myself more. And This all leads up to the end of my shift on Saturday. Something was revealed to me on Saturday, And I just thought it was a little bit ironic, a little scary, and Just really just, like, I I still don't know how to really describe it. So here's what happened.
I'm at work, And towards the end of the day, I have a manager, and I have no problem calling out this guy. This guy's name is Scott. Okay? Scott, the manager, Comes back to where all the prep cooks are, which is where where I am. And he starts going on and on about all these health protocols that we need to follow, and he need and we need to, like, Be on top of it because we're about to get this health inspection inspection soon, and yada yada yada, and then he goes through all this this huge long ass story of how This woman in the 19 eighties got some foodborne illness from a restaurant where she had a baked potato, And she got some illness where all of her nerves, like, all like, her entire nervous system, Like, just shut down, and she was paralyzed.
But she was still alive, and she could but and she could also barely communicate. And he just goes through this entire story of, like, this fearful story of how our food could possibly make someone paralyzed. And he ends that story with this little this little tidbit at the end. He says, we need to make sure that we're doing our job correctly. It would probably be better if the people just died, but, you know, we need to do our job correctly. What? What did you just say, Scott? And I and I, like, spoke up. I was, like, Scott, what did you just say? He goes, It'd probably just be better if, like, if the person just died. If if people just die. We have way too many people on Earth, you know. All the problems, that you're seeing in society is because of the overpopulation, and if and we we would have a lot more sustainable numbers, or Or something like that. He said something like that. If there were just less people on earth.
And then and then I said, so you want people to die? And he goes, I would never murder someone, but it would be a lot better if more people died. I'm like, what the fuck? I literally I I I and I'm saying that to him. I I I go, what the fuck are you talking about, Scott? What? Like, this man is really Micromanaging us on the health protocols, but he's also saying he wishes people would just die. And there was, like, an awkward pause. Like, I didn't like, I reacted the way I reacted. He was, like, yeah. I want people to die. And he and and then he says, I guess I just have a different philosophy than some people.
And I go, yeah. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. Everyone has a different philosophy, Scott, but you're asking for death. Like, what the what the fuck, dude? You're at you you literally want people to die. And and then I said, it Sounds like your philosophy is aligned with Bill Gates, who makes bad vaccines. And then and then there's another pause. And then he says, You know, I think my philosophy is more aligned with Hades. Hades. And then I look at him. I'm staring him in the eye. I go, Hades? Hades. The god of the un the evil guy? He goes, oh, they just want you to think he's evil. There's no real good and evil. It's just energy. What?
What? Who? What? What?
[00:26:18] Unknown:
What are you talking about? What the fuck are you talking about, Scott?
[00:26:21] Cole McCormick:
And I and then I went, like, I I I I was getting upset. I was getting worried. Like, my emotional levels were raising, and I was like, Scott, that's bad. You're following bad energy right now. Like, that's not good. Like that is like, there is evil, there is good, and that what you're following is not good. And then, like, He said this, and then he was he was also stepping outside, while he was saying it. So he steps outside the door, And we're, like, we're all working. Right? So, like, we're all just, like like, moving around doing our thing. And I come back to where we were, and I'm like, And I start raising my voice to all my friends, and and and to the chef. I go, protect yourselves, men. Protect yourselves, boys. Protect your hearts.
Protect your hearts. And My co worker, he says, protect myself from what? And I go, from whatever the fuck Scott's talking about. And then my chef starts laughing because my chef, like, he's like I don't know his spiritual perspective, but I'm just gonna assume he doesn't want people to die. And he he probably just thought it was funny. Because it was insane. What Scott brought up was insane. He literally wants people To die. And he literally said, his philosophy aligns with Hades. I literally Cannot emphasize this enough.
Evil is right in front of me. Evil is real, and I am doing my best to be on the side of good, to be on the side of life. And I don't know how it's connected to me and weed, like, I I I feel as though, like, It's just ironic. I think it's a little ironic how the the first day of me being sober, I'm literally being told Hades is not evil. Like, Like, the the day the first day that I actively try to not think negatively. I'm, my manager my micromanaging manager is telling me there is no good or bad. It's just Benign energy, and they want you to think Hades is evil. I'm so wise enough to call that bullshit out, and I will continue to call that bullshit out.
And I'm happy that I was sober doing during it, man. Like, The fact that I was sober, and I heard this man say that, this man exposed himself. This man exposed himself to be on the side of the dark energies of the universe. And I like, I feel blessed to be sober for that moment. Like, I I almost wanna think that it happened for a reason, that it happened on purpose. You know, I I don't know how healthy that is, but It happened. And I was clear. I was clearly aware of what was going on, and it rattled me. That moment really rattled me. And I'm like, wow. Of all days, like, I now I really need a joint. Now I really need to, like, smoke something because that shit is crazy, dude.
Crazy. Like, you re like, like, it made me think about the fight. You know? This this battle between good and evil, you know, and just these large concepts. You know, when I was growing up in church, Pastors in church, you know, they would discuss things of we are living in a spiritual battle, You know, like, they would say these things, and I and it was never clear to me what that really meant. It was never, Like, it might have been discussed, but it it was never clear to me, it was never explained to me, like, what that really means, And I'm still searching through it. You know, I'm still walking through it.
But right now, where I'm at with it, the battle of good and evil, the spiritual battle That we seem to be in is it's about your morality. It's about your choices and your thoughts. It's about your integrity. It's about your ability to forgive and your ability to to open your heart up. And that night when I came home, I made the choice to pray for Scott. You know, I don't wanna, like I'm not trying to, like, drag him, you know. I don't I don't wanna kill him. That's not my philosophy. I don't want him to die. I don't want anyone to die.
And it just I mean, it ultimately, my the the objective opinion or the objective facts of of this person in my life is that he's selfish. Clearly. He's selfish. He wants people to die, but he doesn't wanna die himself, and he just has his opinions. It's really just an opinion. Just like any other woke person who thinks who whatever whatever philosophy you want, you know. It's Him following that is just him. And I need to pray for him. I need to love him through it. And But it also makes me think about, like, I need to hold my ground, and I, and I should not be passive.
I will not be passive. When I was play when I was young, when I was a kid, playing football in in school, I was one thing that was always told me by my coaches is, McCormick, you gotta you gotta work be more aggressive. McCormick, really hit them. McCormick, hold your ground, McCormick. Break through the line, McCormick. Break them on, McCormick. And this thing was like like, I I even get like I almost have like PTSD from just like doing that right now, like, I'm like, That's always been a thing to me, and I've always been gentle. I was always taught to be gentle, and it's always been a struggle for me to, like, be aggressive or to Somehow hold my ground, and that's been a practice.
And I've been trying to figure out the healthy way to do that, you know? It's not clear right now, but in this moment, you know, I I am not willing To just let these words go by, you know. If if he tries to explain anything like that to me again, like, I will not subside. I will not Go away. I, like, I will speak my truth. I will speak truth. Evil is real. Good is real. And, you know, it it it's up to you to choose good. It's up to you to choose love. And I and I practiced that. I practiced that. You know, I don't really have like a big, like Like, message, you know. I I wish I could wrap this up in like a pretty really pretty bow, but that's just what I went through this week, man.
I chose to stop smoking weed so I could connect deeper to my soul and God, and then and then Hades exposed himself through a manager. Like, pray for me, people. Please pray for me. It's this is this is serious shit that's going on right now. I'm I it's it can't be any more real than this. Okay. I I don't know what the future holds. I don't know where humanity is going. I want it to be good. I seek a positive world, a more beautiful world that my heart knows is possible. This is my anchor. And so I I I just keep moving. I keep moving forward. There's nothing else to do, man. There's nothing else to my mission is to move ahead. My mission is to move forward and to to try to speak truth to power, to try to bring love into the conversation, I guess. Like, we're just living through it.
We're living through it, you know? It's just just give me the the heebajeebies, you know? Have you ever been in in an experience like that before? Have you ever encountered a person with that type of opinion? Like a real life person? Because every time that I hear about any depopulation narrative, it's always from, like, the World Economic Forum or it's from You know, it it it's always some far away thing. You know? Yesterday, it was right in front of me, And I'm not afraid to go up against it. Like, that was one thing that was clear to me. I wanted to step up. I wanted to face that narrative. I wanted to speak against that, And I have no worries for that. I have no fear about calling him out.
You know, it's Some people might say, you should respect your bosses. Okay. What if your boss worships Satan? Okay? Like, seriously. Like, where are we in the world? Where are we? Seriously. Are are am I really supposed to be quiet so I can just get my paycheck? I'm pretty sure we all live through some Fucking pandemic where they forced you to do a bunch of dumb shit so you could keep your job. You know, like, I I know for a fucking Fact that roost Chris made every employee get vaccinated, and that vaccine didn't fucking work. And now I got this other manager micromanaging our health protocol, so he can get a good report card, so that he can be told a good job, And he literally doesn't care if I die.
Go fuck yourself, Satan. Go fuck yourself, dark energies. I am on the side of life. I am on the Side of good. I will stand here. I will plant myself like a fucking plant, dude. I'm carnivore, But I'm here, like, my roots are deep into the earth, man. My roots are deep in mother earth, and I will not stop. Like this is real fucking emotion right now, man. I'm not fucking around. There are people in this world who seek death. You need to I pray. Please seek life. Please seek life, my friends. My brothers, My sisters, seek love in every aspect of your life. I open my arms to Scott.
I wanna hug Scott. I wanna love him. You know? But this motherfucker's asking me to, like, He also fought he he oh, I can't even get it needs to be an HR report, honestly. Like, this man's totally screwed. Like, I don't wanna hurt him. I don't wanna do anything against him, but he is coming at me with deathly energy. And I you see why I smoke weed? Like, I'm fucking sweating right now, dude. I'm going I'm going through withdrawals right now, man. I'm getting I'm going thaw. I need a little hit. Pray for me. That's all I have to say. Please pray for me. And I will pray for you guys.
That's that's the value I have. I could go on and on for another 3 hours. I could go full Alex Jones on this shit dude, but I'm not. I need a I need to focus on the value. Okay? We're gonna head on into the value for value section folks. We're gonna this is the boostagram section everybody. America Plus is a value for value show. What that means is I put the value upfront. I give you the narratives. I produce this show, and then you're able to resend that value back to me. There's 3 main ways that you can do it. There's 3 t's to to, value for value. It's time, talent, and treasure. The boostograms are the treasure. That's when people send in little bits of Bitcoin through modern podcasting apps, by the way. Go to value for value dot info for more info, Then download the fountain.fm

app. It's the best way to support the show. Fountain.fm
[00:38:27] Cole McCormick:
is my favorite podcasting app. There's a bunch others. There's, like, 16 other apps. Look up Podcast Guru. Look up Podverse. Look up True Fans. These are all really awesome modern podcasting apps. They give you more information. They give you transcripts, chapters of the episode. They I you're even able to boost the artist. You're able to support Musicians, in every episode of America Plus, and that that's the real benefit of modern podcasting. There's there's talent and there's time, just you listening to this podcast is is valuable. So thank you for listening. Thank you for your attention. What I'm doing now, I'm gonna be reading the some boostograms from last week. Some people, chose to send in some value, over the last 7 days.
Got a good amount of people this week, guys. We got, what do we got? We got 5 5 people chose to donate, so thank you to everyone who donated. First one comes in from d's laughs. He was commenting on, last week's episode, number 106, the daddy Nat interview. These laughs, he sent in, I think, on my end it says 123 satoshis. Thank you so much for those sats. And he says, Keep rocking in the free world. Yes, sir. Boost. I will. I will, sir. Thank you, Dee's laughs. Thank you. Thank you. Next one comes in from oh, we got this other artist. Does anyone know Joe Martin? Joe Martin music? Anyone know that? Is anyone aware of Joe Martin? This guy's a musician. He chose to boost in. This is the first time he boosted in. So thank you, Joel. Oh, I'm sorry. Thank you, Joel's right there. Joe. Thank you, Joe.
He, he he didn't Say, he had like 3 dots. He did like a dot dot dot. He sends in 1,000 satoshis. So Joe, thank you for that. I will play your music On an episode very soon. I might even get you on the show dude, like don't worry about that. I'll definitely do an do an interview with you. I think Joe Martin was the first Or one of the first musicians to have his music value for value, if I'm not mistaken. So we'll get more into that, man. But thank you for the stats, Joel Or Joe. It's basically,
[00:40:39] Unknown:
you put Bitcoin with anything, and all of a sudden, that is more efficient. This next one comes in from our friend at Joel
[00:40:47] Cole McCormick:
w. Joel w is consistent, dawg. That's his value. He is consistent as fuck. He sends in his normal 1,111 sets. That's a satchel of Richards, by the way, guys. You can send in that number as well. He's commented on last week. He says, value for value is perfect for an artist like Daddy Nat. A label would certainly pigeonhole him, and the Creativity suffers as always. Could only imagine it's soul crushing. Viva La
[00:41:17] Unknown:
V for V. Yeah. Yes, sir. Because basically,
[00:41:20] Unknown:
you can point to anything, and all of a sudden, that is more efficient. Let me do another one. Bustar.
[00:41:25] Cole McCormick:
Bustar. Thank you so much, Joel. You are the man. We got what do we got? We got one more. Oh, 2 more. 2 more. 2 more. This next one actually comes in from daddy Nat himself, dude. Daddy Nat, well, what did he say? What did he say? Let me go to the activity real quick. You know, fountain sometimes is a little, it's not clear. Okay. Here we go. From Daddy Nat. He sends in 500 satoshis. Dude, Daddy Nat, thank you so much. 500 sets. And he says, You are a living legend, Cole. Appreciate you again for having me on. Yes, sir. And now, as the French say, It is time for Le Boost.
I appreciate being called the legend. We'll see you know, we'll see how that narrative, continues, man. Thank you so much Daddy Nat. We'll get you back on this year for sure. Then we got one more. The last one, the biggest boost of the week. This is a huge deal. This is coming in from our friend, Barry, from Podhome. Barry, founder of the podcasting hosting site, Podhome. He sends in a Whopping 14,000 satoshis, and he has to say, what does he say here? I lost it. Last second, I just Freaking lost it. Come on, dude. He says great I think he said great episode. Dude, this is what I'm talking about. Sometimes when people boost in from a different heap. So Barry boosted in from Podcast Guru, and sometimes it's just not clear on where The boost is like you like he sent something. I think it's in my photos real quick. He was nice. He was nice about it.
It's right here. Right here. Hang on. I'm so sorry, guys. This is here we go. Yes. He says great episode, Cole. Keep them coming. Yes, sir. I will. Boost. Boosting is loving. Yes, Barry. I will keep doing it. I will keep producing good podcasts. Yes, Barry. Thank you so much, Barry. Thank you to everyone who donated. That's value for value. If you wanna chime in, if you have any advice, if you have any news, if you have any wisdom to share about drugs, weed, alcohol, if you have anything to share about Good and bad energies in the universe, I invite you to to chime in on this because America Plus is about seeking better narratives. You know, we're seeking innovation. We're trying to talk to people who are innovating and are using value for value.
We're trying to connect to people who see that more beautiful world, who see a a a brighter world and are doing their best To manifest it themselves, within themselves. You know? The only way the world will be better is if you choose to be better. You know, Michael Jackson said that long ass time ago. You got to stop with the man in the mirror. Like, that's some real shit, dude. Real shit. So thank you, Michael Jackson. Thank you to Barry and everyone who chose to donate. You can be a part of that team. You can be a part of this community of creating a more beautiful world, people.
The benefit of, of modern podcasting and getting fountain, Is that whenever I upload the show, you get it in like 90 seconds. You get notified within 90 seconds of me hitting the upload button. So that's a huge deal, compared to like Apple, that takes forever to like, update and stuff like that. So, lot of benefits. Lot of benefits to getting a modern podcast app. Okay. So those are the boosts. What I wanna talk about now? I wanna talk about A little bit about last week. Can we just recap last week for a moment? I wanna talk about the conversation. I I had a really good conversation with Daddy Nat, and you really need to listen to it if you haven't already.
Speaking with Daddy Nat Showed me it's sort of exposing a weak point in value for value right now and podcasting in general. And this is a mix, of this problem is a mix of narrative and Just awareness. Daddy Nat thought that he was uploading his music to the Lightning Network, specifically, and And I and I let him in on how he was actually distributing his music through podcasting technology, and how the ability to The ability for me to hook up his song was because of his RSS feed, and then I just plugged in his Bitcoin wallet. You know, like, He thought it was directly on the Lightning Network. And so it it seems like people who are super into Bitcoin, Are not understanding podcasting, and there's like these like it's like these like 2 or 3 different it's like there's a podcast world, there's a bitcoin world, And then there's a creator world, and it's like, these things are disconnected, but I See how they can come together through value for value and through podcasting.
And while I'm bringing this up is just because, Moving forward with the with the conversations and and interviews with the artists, you know, I just wanna I'm trying to figure out a better way to speak on value for value and modern podcasting. I want it to be more accessible to people. I want people to be inspired to do it. And when I explained everything to daddy Nat, he was, like, totally into it. I mean, at at least I hope I was Clear with my words, like, it seemed like he he understood it pretty pretty quickly, you know? Like like, as soon as, like, I I I think, what really Brings it to a clear light, is when the person is getting sats after the episode.
Because, I told him, like, what he was doing last week is the exact model of how you can grow yourself as an artist. Get yourself on a podcast. Get your songs on podcasts, and connect with people, and get people to believe in you. So that you're not, like and and that's different from just trying to get some algorithm to to bump you up. You know? So I'm just trying to just, I'm casting out a pretty large net. Like, is there a better way to talk about v for v? Is there a better way to talk about podcasting 2.0 and And and and these narratives, this this new economy. Because I really see this as, like, the real parallel economy that people in Bitcoin talk about, you know? Like, this is Something that anyone anyone in the world with an Internet connection and wants to share and wants to connect, you know, this is this is how you do it. This is how you make money. This is how you Or this is at least how you are able to make money, you know. If you do make money, you know, that's one thing, but you're able To have the opportunity to make money with this.
So I'm just trying to figure out what's a better way to say it. What's a better way to talk about it? Maybe I need to make some, like, do we need more YouTube videos about it? Do we need more like concise videos on larger platforms that discuss it? That's that's where my head is right now. Maybe I gotta get with Kyren and and really try to, like, make an official, like, v for v video series. You know, try to, like, really just, like, be as YouTube as possible. You know, just make a video that To is totally aligned with what YouTube will will like, you know. Try to make it like a mister beast video or something like that, or try to know. Whatever. You know what I mean? Just try to make it YouTube, but talk about value for value. Show the value of podcasting 2.0.
Show the efficiency Of people getting paid through the Lightning Network and artists connecting with their fans through Value for Value. You know, like, that's a real opportunity. So if you got anything with that, man, just please please, help me out with that, man. Help me out. And with that guys, I don't really have anything to say, like, I feel like I could go on for, like, another 2 hours, honestly, but it I don't wanna, like, ruin your time. Hopefully, this isn't hopefully, this this doesn't waste your time. I never want America Plus to be a wasteful time.
I wanted to be inspiring. I wanted to be insightful. And hopefully it was, man. Hopefully it was. I'm just feeling a lot This week I'm I'm I'm really in my feels, and I'm really I think about my life in very granular terms and in very Cosmic terms, you know? Like I feel like that's been true for me. That hasn't if that's not true, then like you're about to figure that out, man. It's I think I'm meant for a greater purpose, and I also want a normal life. I see how humanity is coming together, And I'm I I I am directly dealing with Hades at work. The devil's in the kitchen, folks. The devil's in the kitchen. So how do we do it?
How do we move through this? The best way I can move through it is just Dancing to music, and just vibing to music. So, I think I wanna play a song right now, guys. This song is coming in from And and, this would be the wrap up of the whole episode, guys. This is a new song coming in from this artist named Ollie. I just found this, song today. This is called Interstellar Type Beat. It really got me in the feels. It made me, like I think this is the The cute little bow tie ending to this episode, because it bit I almost, like I I straight up cried. I was like tearing up while listening to the song, and It really connected with my soul, and hopefully it does to you. So here's interstellar type beat by Al. Yeah.

Yeah. I feel like I am all over the place. Yeah. Yeah. I just kinda bring it back here to focus. A life like mine, yeah, I'm blessed to know this. Couple tough years It's felt like hypnosis. Now I leave falls and I'm emotional, blame the weather like I know. Of course I'm trying to grow, and life gets stuck in place. And when you don't start, I leave this all behind For life packed in, but I didn't think it then because I really understand now how everything can go from, like, good to bad, to better It's worse. Our Sundays don't get my flows, but those that look at my heart by just petting them first. I find myself on a loan, I zone just thinkin' about everything. This is my
[00:54:31] Cole McCormick:
That's America Plus, bitch. Stay free.
The universe is shifting. What's up, everyone? It's AMERICAPLUS. I'm your host, Cole McCormick. It's another week of the episode. What's going on, everybody? It's Sunday, tonight, January 28, 333 in the PM. What's up, my people? What's going on, man? It's another week of America Plus. How are you, man? Welcome to America Plus, dude.
[00:38:24] Unknown:
Yeah.
[00:51:21] Unknown:
