In this thrilling episode of Alien Worlds, we continue the saga of STARLab, which finds itself under attack by the alien ship commanded by Stygos, the high priest of the Trel. The Trel, a race of shadow beings, are in search of their lost symbol of redemption, the ancient black crystal gargoyle known as Narl. As tensions rise, Mora is temporarily blinded by the alien's subzero lightning, but hope arrives in the form of the deatoms from the star city of Imbria. Led by Phaedra, the sky priestess, the deatoms offer to restore Mora's sight and invite her to their city, revealing their own tragic history with the Trel.

Meanwhile, on Earth, a power struggle unfolds at the International Space Authority laboratory as ISA Commissioner White and Julian Benedict clash over the possession of the Trel statue. As the Trel ship approaches Earth, a daring plan is set in motion to prevent Stygos from reclaiming Narl. With the help of the deatoms' advanced technology, a light storm is unleashed to destroy the Trel ship, ensuring the safety of both STARLab and Imbria. As the episode concludes, the dream city of Imbria drifts away, leaving behind a promise of healing and hope for the future.
